I DRIVE from Dallas to CEDAR HILL to this KFC because of the service the kind staff and the food is always hot and Miss Kay the manager makes you feel like you're the most important person in the world. MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY ARE NEVER OUT OF CRISPY CHICKEN.

Okay I never leave reviews but I must say the $5 fill up #6 with the chicken strips was absolutely delicious the tenders were juicy and fresh the wedges were awesome ive been to alot of KFCs before and this was #1 the bisquite was not hard it was soft and damn good with honey I loved. As truck drivers it is sometimes hard to find a hot meal. My husband and I came to this location just minutes after the lobby closed. Jesus made sure we got a hot meal. It came out with in minutes, hot and delicious. Thank you

I've been going to this KFC for a while and I have to say that the box dinner I ordered was off the hook. The chicken was hot and Krispy. The Cole slaw was very fresh and taste really good. The mash potato was good as well. Thanks for a great dinner.....

You don't need this review. Why are you even reading this? It's a KFC Buffet. BUFFET!!!! It doesn't need a review you just need to walk in, pay 9.99 per person or 6.99 for a kid, grab your drink, grab your plates and eat as much KFC as your heart desires. With their crispy, original and grilled chicken, their mashed potatoes and succulent brown gravy, and a bunch of other sides I've never seen before, it's the unicorn I thought never existed. 🦄 Truly a wonderful experience.

OMG! I ordered the chicken pot pie and KFC bowl as a part of the 2 for $6 deal, and both were so yummy! That pot pie never ceases to amaze me! I typically go through the drive through and since it was chicken fried steak day, it was extremely crowded, but I was pleasantly surprised that they moved the line really quickly. The folks there are always super friendly, and I've never had an issue with my order.

After a horrible experience at a nearby Taco Bell (for the third time in two weeks), I decided to go to KFC for dinner. The employees there were friendly, even listened to me as I was hoping to get a phone number for that nearby Taco Bell's franchise owner (took a chance there). When they knew it would be a few minutes for my food, they immediately let me know, which was great (I've been places where they didn't, which annoyed me!). They apologized when they forgot to ask what side I wanted and asked if I wanted something other than mashed potatoes, again which was great customer service! I will *definitely* come back to this KFC again.

I base a lot of my retail shopping on how a business keeps their bathrooms clean. That includes restaurants, grocery stores, fast food joints, you name it. If the restroom is not clean it's in the kitchens aren't going to be clean or the stores aren't going to be clean. Cedar Hill State Park bathrooms that I've been in have been spotless and always work.

My husband and I stopped at KFC in Cedar Hill on Tuesday, 9/10, we wanted wings. The manager was nice enough to help me with my order even though they didn’t sell wings and a meal. The service and food was great! On Sunday, 9/15, we returned to this location to order more wings! Courtney waited on me and was very pleasant. The manager was sitting at a table doing paperwork. As I was leaving, both Courtney and the manager thanked me for coming in. I live near a KFC, but chose to return to the Cedar Hill location for the their food, but also their great customer service!

This KFC was okay. You can order at the window as well as go on the inside to order to go. This particular KFC had an issue this past Saturday with driving up in the drive thru. There were no clear directions on how to get in the drive thru line since you could not get in the regular way. Once in the drive thru we got our order fast. The food was good.

Buffet? I just called KFC and verified they no longer have the buffet here. Employee said no more since Covid. I last visited 6 years ago and tried the buffet for $9 (the era you could eat fast food for $5 $6 $7).

This is our local KFC, and there is only a lady who is always there on Sundays. She is really pleasant when you're placing your order and getting to the window. I don't recall her name, but she is usually there on Sundays. That's usually when I go.

I am a kfc lover for years.Been buying at this specific location for close to 2 years with no complains until today.I just bought a meal for the whole family today,(4 large fries,8 piece bucket and coleslaw salad),being a Sunday,coming from church,very tired and my goodness, l trashed it all.Both the chicken and the fries were too salty, like abnormally.l guess somebody made a mistake 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was very disappointed ☹️.

Service is usually slow as the kids spend more time talking among themselves or on their cell phones. I have also had issues with my food being sloppy when I receive it and the person at the register catching an attitude when she did not give me my correct change (you're on your cell so use the calculator app)!

Ordered the 3 piece combo meal, came with all dark meat. I guess you have to take what they give you, didn't specify only dark meat. Was going to say something but didn't want to wait in line again to voice my complaint. Started eating my 🐔 and then when it was time to open my mashed potatoes I noticed there was no utensils, glad I dined in because if I had taken it to go it would not have been a good thing. Asked the guy for a spoon, he hands me 2 forks. 🤔 At that point I was like just let me hurry up and eat my food and get out of here.

To start, I am a nurse of 30 years. I do like KFC's country steak meal. It's tasty and inexpensive. However, today September 14th 2022 at 6:52 p.m. I visited the aforementioned restaurant and observed something unnerving. The cashier was about to dump the dining room garbage with gloved hands ( kudos ). He was interrupted by a customer walking in to make a purchase. He returned to the counter with the same gloves on, rang the customer up, receive the money and then commenced to making the food (BIG NONO)!!! Lesson: the simple Act of frequent hand washing can prevent sickness, reduce the number of contaminants that cause sickness or even prevent death

The buffet was quite unusual for a Sunday. Veggies and sides were horrible. Brown gravy had small lumps floating around, dried up chicken and dumplings, Lima beans and stuffing that nobody ever touched. I had to ask for fresh chicken wings because they never put any out. I haven't been in a while but I will check the buffet selections before I pay if I ever go back.

Looked forward to trying the KFC buffet but it was disappointing. When we got there all the chicken was cold, there was no mac and cheese. None of the KFC employees seemed to care about the buffet. After we had been there for about 20 min they finally put out some fresh chicken. Also, no chicken wings or potato wedges. I will try again to see if it was just an off day.

Service was horrible. Was charged a higher amount for a 3pc tenders meal because I didn’t say the fill up tender meal. It’s the exact same thing except the dessert comes with the $7 fill up meal. The cashier India, that’s the name on the receipt, had an attitude when I questioned her. Then get home and tenders are so little and I paid $9 for it. Horrible customer service. I asked for soda because the machine was out and she never bothered to re stock the machine or fill my cup. The trashcan was OVERLOADED! With very MESSY & dirty tables. The place looked a MESS. Fly's were everywhere. The employees attitudes were very rude. With NO respect. My WORST experience at KFC. Never coming back to this location

Worst KFC experience. Drive-thru staff was rude, and slammed slide door in my face. I'm sweet to everyone, so hoping she was having an off day. It is not unusual in Cedar Hill. It is why many folks refuse to eat in the city. Cooking it home is better.

Ordered 4 Meals, 2 of them either had missing items or the items were prepared incorrectly. I'm not a math wiz but that sounds like about a 50% success rate. That's pretty bad even by fast food standards. Called back to let them know and they wanted the ticket number. Fair enough, so I get it and call the guy back like 1 minute later, they pick up the phone and don't say anything. Next two times they just let it ring. Don't go to this location. Unless you want the Buffet, but if you check the reviews that looks like a pretty bad idea as well.

If i could.have gave 1/2 start i would . this us the 3rd time we have been here thinking it would get better but it hasnt. The food on the buffet is either dried out or not evwn replenished . my boyfriend had to ask for biscuits and chicken as well . the place was nasty half the tables where nasty and not wiped down. The trash cans had no bins in them so there was trays with food building up on top.. Would not recommend this place to no one very unsatisfied...

I'd give zero stars if I could just for the horrible service we received. We called ahead of time to make sure they had pot pies and they said they would be there & ready. We get there, they don't have them and its a 30 minute wait. We told them we would wait & 30 minutes later we go back, they tell us it's a 15 minute wait. They had an attitude with me when I mentioned that I'd already had to wait 30 minutes. "Well we have to wait on the oven it's 15 minutes ". Well whatever I paid & it wasn't 15 minutes but another 30 that we had to wait. A little over an hour for 2 pot pies. My boyfriend was visibly upset & the guy behind the counter couldn't keep himself from laughing about it. It's obvious they don't care anything about customer service.

Went there around 4pm. Ordered 10 for 10 and 2 biscuits. Did not recieve my 2 biscuits even tho i told the drive thru lady i was missing them. She lied and said they were in the bottom of the chicken box. Did not receive my receipt either. Will not be going back. Bad service bad experience.

My husband ordered me a tender meal box. Tenders- flat and dry Mashed potatoes and gravy- potatoes were ok and the gravy was stiff. I tried to dip the tenders in the gravy, didn't help any. Cookie - awesome! Great menu item... Unsweetened Tea- sour Overall...I had a great cookie at a chicken place!

Don't come here and expect to get your food on time. The gentleman told me 10 minutes and I waited about 30 or so. I called into the establishment to ask where my food was and I could hear the other associates griping about how I ordered so and so and why I was calling. I understand that it takes time to make the food, but don't tell someone a certain time and you don't give any updates. Jesus the manager was unwilling to give me a partial refund or give me another item for my inconvenience.

I had a horrible experience with KFC on that Sunday. I order ordered four original wings and three legs well five original wings and three legs. They gave me breasts thighs and two wings and two legs I don't eat those other pieces so I wasted my money. I ordered a pot pie which was not cooked at the top is like dough I will never go back to that KFC again and maybe no KFC. Everytime I go to one they don't have any chicken they have a greasy it be burned. And if they know that people coming there after church on Sunday or anytime you always supposed to have enough food.

This place is terrible!!! First no one in that place has any kind of cover for there hair but they have a kid with dreds making your food. Also the chick in the window acted as if I was bothering her because she was so in to her text message and running her mouth to her co-workers. Then the person who was in the drive thru in front of me stopped to take her food back because her was wrong after she had already waited a good 10 min for her food, why is it that the manager who I might add looked very very gross ( personal hygiene YUCK....) The manager comes over by the window with that lady's chicken in her hand (no cloves) swinging the chicken leg saying("now this lady's is complaining she didn't get no wings").. the kid who made the order response was ("she lien").. they threw some chicken wings in her box and gave her the same food. I got home and I got a $3 spicy famous bowl and it was SOSO sloppy and greasy I had a whole in my bag it was just nasty. This is the worse KFC I have ever went to. You couldn't pay me to go back here. They need to fire every person who was working on 1/17/2019 around 715 pm. Im tellin you folks you are playing with your health and possibly your life eating at this NASTY PLACE...

You dont get what you pay for first of all, I order a $10 3pc meal and they give me the smallest, luke warm pieces of chicken they have not to mention all the grease. Then have the nerve to tell me its fresh and just came up. I could hold the chicken in my hand ppl. Then the manager acts like "oh I just work here" doesn't even wanna talk to the customers and lies withba staright face smh. Its just sad that they charge so much and your not getting the quality you pay for.

My husband ordered 4 piece with coleslaw & biscuit. The chicken was old & dry & tasted bad. The coleslaw tasted a little sour. Called to tell them but they did not pick up. No restaurant should ever serve bad food. Totally unacceptable!!! Usually don't go this route but they gave me no choice.

Orders are never correctly filled. They never have wings to fill an order so they give you thighs🤢🤮 without telling you of this substitution. On Dec 4th, I ordered an 8 piece bucket, the contents were half cooked 🤢🤮 full of oil and the supposed to be crispy chicken skin falling off of it when you tried to pick a piece up! Guess what- no wings in the bucket we had 4 thighs 🤢🤮4 gummy thighs! I went back to KFC and the manager threw the returned order across the room, bouncing it off the wall into a garbage can in the cooking area. She had the servers redo my order. I took a peek at the meal ($27.00 +). The top piece of chicken looked better - not much- than the returned mess. I did not want to touch the chicken with bear hands due to sanitary reasons. When I got home and lifted the top piece of chicken, there was a greasy, half cooked mess under it. Gummy, pasty flour was showing, still white!! I didn’t fill like going back to KFC so I placed the greasy mess on a cookie sheet and baked it for 20 mins. We didn’t need salmonella poisoning from this half cooked mess. I’ve complained to KFC corporate office numerous times about this sorry KFC establishment. We had not patronized this place for almost 9 months but decided to try them again. NEVER Again!!!!! I’m done with this particular restaurant.

Online pickup is pointless. I ordered online pickup at 5:40, (order said it would be ready for pickup at 5:47) I arrived at 5:52. My order hadn’t even been started yet and it wasn’t busy. I sat and waited for 20 additional minutes, watching people come in order and leave with their food who arrived inside after me.. watched the girl who was told to start on my order take multiple orders out to the drive thru cars… and very slowly put my order together. They were so slow. I should have just went through the drive thru, I could have been home by the time I got my pickup order. What is the point of ordering ahead for pickup if it doesn’t get started until after you arrive and tens of people are getting their orders before online orders… it’s pointless. The chicken was also soggy and just yucky to the touch. I couldnt wait to get out of there. Customers inside were asking me if I had gotten my food yet and saying I should go up and complain until I get what I ordered. I am sooooooo over KFC in America! When I am in Kenya and Uganda it is the highlight of the trip. The people over there take pride in their product and service….. Now that I got that out the way….My mother want their pot pie so I went and I had just got off work, hungry and tired. I tried to make one stop….I ordered the number 6….. and the pot pie….i don’t normally it eat fast food because it is ALWAYS HORRIBLE! The warning is the word in the beginning. FAST……BEFORE I COULD PULL UP TO THE WINDOW AND HAND THEM MY DEBIT CARD THEY INSTANTLY, AS FAST AS THEY COULD HANDED ME THE BAG OUT THE WINDOW….. TENDERS WERE COOKED LAST WEEK…… THE FRIES WERE LAST NIGHTS FRIES….. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN…AND YALL DIDN’T ANSWER THE PHONE!!! I WOULDN’T HAVE EITHER! Poor Cornell Sanders!!!! They have turned your name and legacy into TRASH!

Charged us for, and gave us a completely incorrect order. Pot pie when we ordered a simple 4 pc combo. Not only do we not want this or not like pot pie but I was given a regular drink when I am diabetic. Called to get it sorted out and ask what could be happen and the man on the phone was nothing but contradicting, interruptive, and rude before outright refusing to refund it whatsoever. So it's just gonna be thrown away and I'm out the price of the order with no food to show for it. Thanks KFC, stay classy.

If I could leave a zero I would. I drove up to the window to order 3 chicken sandwiches. I was told there was only one patty at this time. I asked 7 times how long it will take, and the lady pretended to not hear me. I drov up to the window and no one was there. Went to Popeyes!

I get to the window and ask the young lady how she’s doing. Response: order when you’re ready. I ask for an 8pc family meal. Well I only have certain pieces because deliveries are ahead of you…. She checks and tells me what’s left. I say okay thanks and she says mhm… this location has always had customer services challenges but some individuals are honestly just not cut for the job. If customer services isn’t strong suit, I suggest just quitting. Avoid this location and just make the drive to Duncanville if you’re able.

Worst service ever and we have been a few times!! First off we get there and floor is disgusting (we took pics) trash cans overflowing, and old food on buffet. Secondly, we stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. The workers were doing other stuff and didn’t bother to acknowledge us until we said can we order now. We requested tables be cleaned 3 times and no one came to wash them off. Food all over floors as if nothing but kids had eaten there all day and they food on floor. Had to ask for fresh chicken and we got major attitude from IRMA about that!! She was so rude as if we were bothering her. I mean it’s a buffet you should have fresh food continuously, Right!!! We paid $50 for buffet and not one of us ate anymore than a piece of chicken veggies and a biscuit. It’s a complete shame how this establishment was run tonight.. We asked for general manager info to make a complaint and were asked all kinds of questions and were given attitude before being given a name and number.. If they did their job right the first time we wouldn’t have any complaints but I’m sorry it was horrible and something needs to be done.

So....I ordered $40 worth of food. I left with my otder and discovered I didn't get my large cole slaw even though we waited 20 minutes in the store for the order while they passed all the chicken out the drive thru while 8 customers on the inside waited. I wanted the cole slaw.... that's why I ordered it. So i go all the way back to get something that should've been given to me in the first place, only to be greeted with attitude and no real recognition of the huge inconvenience. How is it that they got a problem with me coming back for something that I paid for and should've had anyway? Because it's horrible customer service. 3rd times the charm - finding me another location. Also, they slipped me crispy because it was a 30 minute wait on original. STILL! After sitting here 20?? Bye!

Customer service at this location is the worst. The teenage girl on duty at 7:00 pm on 2/5 when I visited has a thing or two to learn about quality food and a pleasant attitude. Chicken was dark beige it was so undercooked and I drove all the way back to the restaurant to get fresh cooked chicken. Do you think she would at least apologize for the inconvenience? Nope. Unacceptable. I won’t be back. Cedar Hill location should do better.

I purchased a 2-piece original meal with a breast, leg, mashed potatoes, and a drink today, 6/27/2024. I'm very disappointed that the breast was very dry and rubbery, so I was unable to eat it. I bit into the leg, and it smelled like chlorine. The chicken leg smelled spoiled, so I was unable to eat that either. They were once reliable. Recently visited 2 times, both orders were wrong. Chicken stale, and not the correct pieces. Ordered hot wings and received 10 drums & 2 flats. I tried calling and of course they didn't answer. Will avoid them in the future. I did go back 1 of the 1 times for a correction they still messed up the order. I want a refund!

Today 5-19-24 9:47 pm though drive thru the manager in charge had the worst attitude,I’m guessing he didn’t want to be there because we order 16 pc tenders family meal and he responded, what???? 16???? let me check how many I have…. I’m like really? had to cancel my order very disrespectful the way he talk back to us I hope corp read this msg and check a little more who they have in charge.

If I could leave a negative rating I would. Everything was cold and soggy. Extra crispy chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, fries and the biscuits was hard. The only good item was the gravy. Seemed like they gave us food that has been sitting there for awhile. Really disappointing after spending $35.

I ordered KFC after work lastnight it was a very long shift for me. $6 box and the apple poppers first time. Once I got my food made it home o noticed my apple poppers wasn't cooked they were cold, pale and undone. My chicken was soggy as if it had been sitting out luke warm and old. I stay 2 blocks away to tired to go back .

I’m disappointed KFC. I came to try the hot wings and wedges and after spending $25 I got cold food and some of it looked alittle questionable. I have hot wings with bones and a few boneless hot wings and I’m confused because I didn’t know it was supposed to be bonesless. I included a pic of a wing I broke in half. Some of the wings don’t look like drummettes nor flats.

So i drove here after a long day of work to get the new hot & spicy wings and potato wedges, i order at the window pull around pay then wait. The lady at the window hands me the bag asks if i needed sauce then i make the long drive to midlothian. I finally get home and check the bag to eat & there is a carton of potato wedges, 1 chicken leg, and some fries. The wings were missing! As a pregnant woman this absolutely ruined my day I cried all night eating those potato wedges for dinner. I am still hungry as I type this! I want those wings 😭

Customer service stinks. My son likes the tenders, so I usually pick him up some during my hour long commute home. This is not the time to make someone wait 25 minutes for their order. No apology offered. Won't be going back for a while. Get it together KFC. Times are hard and if patrons still spend the time and money at your establishment, teach your employees manners and customer service.

Not sure what is going on but quality of food has dropped a lot , chicken is not crispy mash potatoes feel bad, customer service person was rushing thru drive thru told me pull n wait for few minutes , had to wait 10 minutes and backed to go to window and I said it’s not two minutes or she even cared to bring my food to me I had to go back to window , she was a Spanish person and she looked at me n said sorry . I went to redeem this coupon and I was told by the head manager thats they did not honor this coupon given to teachers for teacher appreciation week she said I had to buy something i said cool gimme a cup of water she said we dont charge for water i said give ne a biscuit and said it didn work. she called the area manager and he said that it must be a corporate coupon but they still didn honor the coupon. THIS IS SO SHAMEFUL ON Y TOP OF IT THE HEAD MANAGER IS HORRIBLE!

THROW THE WHOLE STORE AWAY!! I am disgusted by finding hair-- battered, deep fried and nestled within my order. This is not chicken feathers that weren't plucked. Someone is either missing a hair net or not properly checking the food.. Regardless, I will not be back. Order was a 12pc dark mixed with Coleslaw and Macaroni & Cheese.

As a child I always enjoy eating Kentucky fried Chicken, You could be blindfolded take a bite and you knew where it came from. I haven't had KFC in about 10 years. So tonight I got some from the cedar Hill location. By the time I got home the oil that was only chicken had went through the container in the bag it was in. The meat was so horrible It was all soggy. It was the worst meal that I've had in some time, and as a retired soldier I've had some horrible meals.

This was the worst customer service I have experienced in a while. After calling all week to inquiry about the buffet and getting no answer decided to go with someone to the buffet and take a gamble. Its 9.99 each for the buffet but the choices are limited. Not only did they not have macaroni, fries/potato wedges but they only had one kind of chicken. I did not touch the buffet and but he started to get a plate but decided to go. Why would I pay 11$ for 2 pieces of chicken. The manager Jesus Soto was Extremely rude. He asked why did I let him touch the buffet if we didnt want it and why did we come. I told him we tried to call several times and got no answer. He did not want to give is the money back even though I had a clean plate. After arguing with me he finally did but I will not return to this location. The only saving grace was the original cashier, she was sweet but the manager, someone should have a lesson on customer service with him.
