An old-fashioned trattoria (finally someone is keeping the history alive), located in the hills of Genoa. Abundant traditional dishes, each more delicious and flavorful than the last. You can choose between a fixed menu or à la carte. Also ideal for family lunches or dinners, or for business meetings. The food is truly excellent, and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff complement this beautiful place. Highly recommended!! ❤️
Best Pesto ever
Lunch in a quaint place, truly excellent traditional Genoese dishes! Both in quality and quantity, at an exceptional price!!! Well done Debora and her staff!!! Highly recommended!!!!
Excellent cuisine, authentic ingredients, and a family atmosphere. The ravioli were strictly handmade and the wild boar was superbly cooked, with an honorable mention for the guinea fowl with porcini mushrooms. We loved everything we ordered; even though I had stomach issues, I had a wonderful time (and ordered a second course). Attentive service, and despite the crowds, we didn't have to wait. The service was attentive, and the portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. A birthday to remember! Highly recommended.
SUPERLATIVE, EXCEPTIONAL, EXTREMELY GOOD FOOD, FROM APPETIZERS TO DESSERT TRULY COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF AND THE WAITRESS. SUPER FAIR PRICES AND SUPERB PORTIONS... COME HERE BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT. TYPICAL GENOESE TRATTORIA, VERY POPULAR FOR THE EXCELLENT FOOD. SEEING PEOPLE INSIDE IS A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY
A truly special place if you have the opportunity to come near the Madonna della Guardia in Genoa you cannot miss this characteristic place the food is very good the portions are truly gigantic we had exquisite ravioli of guinea fowl rabbit side of peppers salad coffee and fruit salad with ice cream.. truly everything delicious... You should book because this way you do not have to wait there is a large room The staff is friendly and kind.. the waiting times are minimal. I really recommend it to everyone
It was a very good experience, delicious food and the servers were amazing. Plus fair prices. Please come here.
Loved this place, this is a real Italy! 🍝
Najbolja, tradicionalna kuhinja u Genovi! The best traditional kitchen in Genove!!!
Best pesto ever. Love it. Evething delicious. Services was great. Will be back each time we are in Genova. Desert (tiramisu) excellent!!
Ci torno!
We went for lunch on a Saturday after a nice walk. The welcome and service were excellent. We had appetizers and first courses, which were very good! And plentiful! Unfortunately, we couldn't add a second course. First courses are around 9 euros, but the portions are worth it! I'm not giving it 5 stars only because, for me, it was a bit too warm inside. I strongly recommend booking, otherwise you risk not getting a seat.
Sunday Lunch This remote spot in the hills of Ceranesi is recommended. Reservations are recommended, as it's always packed at lunchtime on weekends. Family-run, with good service (a little slow). Fresh dishes made with local ingredients. We ordered the house mixed antipasto, mixed cheeses, ravioli with meat sauce served in a large baking dish, and wild boar and baked potatoes. Very generous portions. To finish, they served Torta della Nonna. We spent €30 each, a great price. It's a shame you can't take leftovers home; I don't think it's fair, throwing food away is a waste.
It's a true, rustic trattoria, without frills, with little show and all substance, and that's what makes it exceptional. Perhaps a little color in the dining room wouldn't hurt, but it doesn't matter. Luckily, places like this still exist, where you can feast on delicious, homemade food in truly exorbitant portions. The ravioli for two yielded at least four dishes; the wild boar in the photo was for one, and even that would have yielded four dishes. Here, you can breathe in the atmosphere of the Genoese hinterland, a "Grebano" place in a very positive sense.
Homemade, rustic cooking at reasonable prices for the generous portions. The restaurant itself is nothing special, but the ravioli are truly the highlight. In my humble opinion, the meat sauce could be improved. Overall, I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat grandmother's home-cooked food at a decent price.
The welcome was good, the table service was good, the staff was friendly and fast. Unfortunately, I found the ravioli filling dry and the pastry a little too thick, the ragù was a little too cooked, I give it a passing grade but not above.
May Day lunch with friends. I'll start by saying that the food was a surprise, both in terms of quantity and quality. In addition to the à la carte menu, there are two all-inclusive options: the first course includes a first course, a second course, lemon sorbet, dessert, coffee, and liqueurs; the more comprehensive option also adds a mix of appetizers. Service was fairly quick and efficient, but I found the large dining room where we ate too crowded, and interaction with even those sitting next to me was difficult due to the noise. I should also note that there's no baby changing table and that the bathrooms are located outside the restaurant, not ideal on a rainy day.

Ok
On a cold day, leaving the doors open and the heating off isn't the best option. I was really cold, and I'm not a person who feels the cold. The first courses are super generous, the second courses are small. The service is friendly and good. The ravioli are amazing, but what about the rest? It could be much, much better with less.
