Our first visit to this branch. The ordering screens were easy to use and the restaurant was clean. The kid's sets came in a nice box with some cards, and they enjoyed their food. One had a cheeseburger set while the other had nuggets. I tried the new smoked cheddar Angus burger and I could actually taste the cheddar and could tell it was Angus beef. It was quiet when we arrived just before 12, but it soon picked up. There aren't that many tables so I think they do a lot of business with the Drive Thru. One option when ordering that was nice as choosing table service, which is not always offered by other chains. The staff were polite and checked on us during the meal, which has never happened to me in a fast food restaurant before. Prices generally are getting higher and higher these days, but these were no worse than any others similar chains. Overall a good experience.

Food was fresh and hot when we got it and the staff were really friendly and helpful. My mum is in a wheelchair and they helped us move things around so she could sit with us at a table. Would definitely go again.
The food was absolutely delicious. The burger was so fresh and juicy, the fries were perfectly salted, the nuggets were delightful and the sweet chili dipping sauce is some of the best I've ever had. The service was swift and friendly. Overall a very good experience, I'll definitely be back.
My story starts, on the one and only table 5 at burger king. I opened up my burger king app ready to order my meal. Trembling with excitement as I could hardly contain my excitement at the thought of tucking into a vegan royale meal worthy of a king. Order complete and sent off to the kitchen. That was it, the waiting game truly was on ...... Thoughts racing round my sweating unexploded mine of a brain. The anxiety started and the heart beat accelerated as I pondered upon how long this meal would take to make. Minutes, hours, days? .... BOOM! 1 MINUTE! A lovely and polite employee, walks up to my table armed with my meal. It was magical! As tears of happiness rolled down my face, a warm glowy feeling appeared in my stomach (later replaced by nicely fed feeling). As I took that first bite of that golden vegan royale I knew I'd never taste anything as good as this again, I truly did feel like a burger king. As I finished my meal before I could even walk to the bins .... BOOM! Another employee had offered to take my rubbish to the bins. It really was something special the service. Finally it was that agonising time of leaving the gorgeous and clean restaurant. That us when I uttered the words.... "Would highly Recommend" 1 day later ..... The automatic door slowly opens like a slow reveal on naked attraction. "BACK AGAIN" as I was relevently singing my favourite Eminem tune. As I strolled in I knew it was time to try a new item on the menu. As I gazed at the menu in complete aww salibating lile Pavlovs' dogs, I came across the incredible £4.99 BBQ melt meal. Incredible value had I ever seen it. BBQ melt, the choice of 3 chilli bites or 4 onions rings, regular fries and a regular drink to leave you absolutely ready to take on an army. Same as always still friendly service and incredible speed of delivery. Blink and you'll miss your meal being made. I already had my mind made up on what I was doing the following day and yes you guessed right ...... Another trip to burger king. DAY 3: I Walked in today in need of a large meal to make the most of the gains fresh from puregym. I scanned the menu and saw the bacon double cheese XL and thought na not big enough, however you can customise it and add extra patties. It was now a quad XL with extra cheese and bacon to satisfy my need and my word were they satisfied. Call me mick jagger cause I "CANT GET NO SATISFACTION" - Without upgrading my fries to cheese and bacon. A short while after demolishing my meal I still wasn't 100 percent so decided a dessert would be most appropriate. I decided to indulge into a large ben and jerrys cookie dough. I was now full to the brim. Bring on day 4.... I was feeling ready for day 4 and opted for something that was just cold. I decided I didn't want food today i just wanted a cold milkshake. What were the choices I hear you ask? Well reader I can report back that they have the choice of 3 mouthwatering flavours. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. And if you thought I was done there think again as they also have the frozen Fanta range. Blue razz, strawberry or a mixture. I decided today i only wanted a cold chocolate milkshake and my life was complete. Bring on day 5....
Have to say, although there was a slight delay with order, one of the staff did pop over and explain and apologise, so fair play. Food hot, restaurant spotless, order correct. Would definitely visit again 👍
All our meals were delicious and the fries perfectly seasoned and piping hot. It was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait too long at all before our meals arrived with great friendly service from Steve.

I came into Burger King, yesterday with my mates, This very lovely lady called Jess who served us was very nice to us, and very patient with one of my mates who had a stammer, she was so polite to him. A real credit to the store!

Spot on with the food and service. Food came warm and fresh and top quality service. An absolute credit to the team was the tall thin guy with dark hair and black glasses, I think his name tag read as Bdog. He really made our experience a brilliant time.
I'm not sure why others have moaned but my experience with the wife and kids was good. The food arrived in good time, it was tasty and fresh, so no issues for us. My only subject to point out was that it's pretty small inside.
You can only get a spicy double whooper, but these guys done me a great service and done a single spicy mayo for me

Passing through and needed something to eat. MacDonald's had about 12 cars in the queue so carried on to Burger King. Had to wait 10 minutes but fries were piping hot and tasty and the burger was spot on. 3 happy people, worth the wait.

We were really lucky to be served by Jessie today. This is the second time we've met her and both times, despite being run off her feet, she has made us so welcome and has been so so kind. She deserves all the praise in the world as she's as been amazing with my children. Burger King if you're reading this the lady deserves a pay raise!!! She is the reason we will keep coming back.
I recently visited chester retail park branch and was served by Syeda. I would like to share my appreciation for her excellent customer service. Staff are still learning as it's new so I'll forgive them for the onions on my whopper with no onions. But as for the burger inside being in half so that when I pull the onions out half my burger tries to escape. This is unforgivable. I got Tom sauce on my leggings 😭 Food was nice chips were a bit too salty but not inedible. I'd go again. Love the new deals also like the family ones etc.
You know what you're getting when you come here. The quality of their chips definitely beats McDonalds! 😃

It's only small but food is a good standard. Friendly and helpful staff. It is located at a service's and on a industrial estate so there was local workers there the Saturday we went. Weekdays could get busy. My only gripe is the tables needed cleaning as people leave. I'd go again

This was Standard BK Fare , the place was spotlessly clean 🧼, the staff was friendly and they were also checking restaurant area for cleanliness. The food was quick (it is fast food after all) and tasted as it should , I personally believe that is much better than the Big Macs just because they use fresh salad I didn’t really enjoy the onion 🧅 rings I thought they were not as fresh as can be , but that’s the nature of fast food sometimes. I had a whopper.And onion rings All in all a really nice place ,clean , affordable and super friendly Staff
Amazing food, super friendly staff. But took forever to get our meal. I had finished my milk shake time as the food came out. Which was crap as I wanted it with my food to wash it down. Got to say my Whopper double was a bit dry so needed a drink. My other half chicken Royal was amazing though
Fries weren't as salty as I'd like, overall decent especially for late night drives. Kinda has a diner from supernatural vibe at night it's nice but little to no places to sit because they put all the chairs up. Lovley to go when it's sunny id recommend a window seat
I will start with the positives. The external of the restaurant was clean and tidy with good signage and car parking facilities. I entered the store to find just two customers inside. Placed my order on the self serve kiosk and proceeded to wait for my order. My receipt confirmed the time of ordering as 17:43pm. After a short time I noticed my order moved to the collection stage on the screen, and then vanish. As did many other orders. It seemed staff were completing them almost immediately to potentially hit targets? I waited, waited and waited some more. 2 other customers raised how long they had been waiting with staff. Time went on and I took the time to soak in the surroundings of the restaurant while I waited. Whilst I appreciate these locations are quite high traffic it certainly wasn’t clean. Lots of rubbish on the floor, dirty tables. It didn’t even seem particularly busy? 18:04 - 21 minutes after ordering my food was ready! I confirmed my order was correct after seeing the lady before me return due to missing fries. All good here! The food was generally pretty good. The temperature was reasonable and the order correct. The staff appeared to be working hard, but the sync between them seemed to be the issue. Good staff, give them the support they need Burger King!

This is a brand new Burger King it's only been open a few weeks so I expect the staff are on a steep learning curve, having said that there is no excuse for cold food and luke warm coffee. Some staff are running around like headless chickens whilst others stand around doing nothing. The place is small cramped and uncomfortable. No one bothers to clean the tables or the floor which is disgusting and don't get me started on the state of the gender neutral single toilet. Totally unacceptable.
The junior whopper seems to have shrunk and the very dry burger bun expanded so it now tastes all bread & no burger although the salad was nice & fresh. The small coffee cup was only half filled with mostly froth so think I will give this place a miss next time. Such a shame as I used to like Burger King.
I was so happy when burger king was about to open in chester but once I went there the whopper wasn't good at all. The burger bread didn't feel very fresh, no onions and very little sauce. I will try it again in the future just in case if it was an off bad day in the office.
Food was great, tasted fresh plenty of toppings on my burger and good amount of fries. I visited at 12:00 noon on 9/6/24. The service was bad. I already had my food and just needed a paper bag so I could take the rest away with me. I waited for a couple of minutes at the home delivery window as there was girl preparing food right by this window. She looked at me and carried on what she was doing. So I went to the main till. There were 3 workers on and it’s a very open plan. All 3 staff members saw me. The boy on the tills saw me and walked past me, then went back to taking orders over headset and picking his nails. The girl that was running orders walked past me twice before I had to say ‘when you get a second could I have a paper bag please?’ (I hated having to ask as I was being purposefully ignored). The girl then looked at me and said “…okay?” In a very strange rude way…it was so odd because the bags were right by her I could see them, why was it taken so offensively? She then called the order, gave it to a gentleman who took the food from by me. She then went back to the prep area, put an order in a bag, (where the bags are), walked past me and took another order to someone else. I was stood there for almost 5 minutes all together. A man then turned around and saw me and handed me a bag. It was not particularly busy. There was 1 car in the drive through, 1 order had been placed by a table on an ordering machine and 1 more family was in the process of ordering at the kiosk. Customer service really needs work. If you don’t like your job then I feel for you, but when you’re creating a problem and probably winding yourself up more because you don’t want to hand a Customer a bag… just strange behaviour
Deliveries detour via Australia. Foods usually stone cold upon arrival then to top it off the orders are wrong 100% of the time. Getting orders wrong is the only thing the staff seem capable of. Should not advertise a service they can't deliver (ironically, delivery). No point going into the place as your car boot will have more room.
Well Jess was lovely but working far too hard running around to make up for the lack of staff on till and drive though to the point she slipped on the floor and laughed it off but in truth she should of had to be rush to this point that she falls. I feel sorry for all the staff as the stress mustn't be good for their mental wellbeing. The orders on the TVs just all disappeared and people adding more pressure with asking where their meals were and hero Jess running around to get them ready for them, she deserves a well done and a break! The restaurant layout is awful with people on top of people waiting for their orders, it's just chaos! This is my 3rd visit here and everytime it's been disappointing. Positives I had Wagyu burger which was delicious 😋 and gained a star for Jess being such a superstar. But you really need to look at this places layout and service (I looked in the kitchen and could see sooo much food in the heated pick up point just not enough staff to pick it) by the time I got mine it wasn't cold but also wasn't hot, warm we'll call it.
Went here about 9pm Wednesday night, ordered the food on the kiosk and added table service, entering "20" and picked up the corresponding table number. Waited over 10 minutes and two young woman get there food and were puzzled with the food order. The server could not even eead numbers! Their number was 05 yet he was giving our food to them. Thankfully the young ladies realised the mistake and approached us. One of the burger orders was wrong. Even though no bacon was added the order on the kiosk, it was not implemented. Going up the staff their attitude was very nonchalant. That made us angry, no sorry nothing. They made another order quickly, it's surprising how quickly they remake an order when they screw up. The replacement food was still wrong, no sauce was added but we we were hungry and wanted to eat. The chicken jalapeños sticks were overcooked, really dry. Lastly when we took some of the food as wrapped up, we realised that they gave fries with the kids meal. Food was lukewarm, wouldn't go here again, slow cold and at 9pm table as were closed off only leaving 2 tables free.
Ordered 2 burgers and a side at 8:55pm, second time asked them when will the order be ready around 9:25 they said they just waiting for the side. At the end my order ready at 9:35. That’s ridiculous, shop was empty and wasn’t busy ant all. poor customer service in this Burger King.
Poor! Too expensive for starters. Both burgers had the bacon missing and both were a lot smaller than the picture which is misleading and that goes for the product description too. It tasted fine but it’s back to Maccas for me.

Was told. I couldn't sit down due to wet floors and was told to move to a different table and being in a wheelchair was not at all helpful and was told to stand never mind the strong smell of piss From the toilets witch was vile will not becoming here again

Got a Angus pepper sauce burger and large loaded peppercorn chips well what can I say the chips didn't look large but ok things get smaller in this country but what shocked me was the burger two tiny pieces of bacon that looked raw and old went to complain all I got was a rude lad saying we dont cook the bacon comes in like that no sorry or nothing if he is the manager then get someone new in has his attitude stinks won't be back
The table service was incredibly slow, 15 mins wait for our food, (family of 3). My Bacon Double Cheeseburger, the bud was cold, bacon wasn't crispy as advertised and small in size. My Mum's hamburger was very thin and the bud was cold with no sauce. The Whooper's bud was cold and small in size. We won't be returning again, not value for money. P.s. Area around our table was filthy with wraps, tissues and food on the floor.
Currently still waiting for our food, in restaurant, 27 minutes and counting, to be told ‘it’s on its way’ twice already. Absolutely awful. 3 of the 5 staff working hard, 2 doing absolutely nothing. Will not be coming again, and will tell others not to at all. Least ‘fast food’ ever.
Wow where do i even begin first time trying here since it opened n probs be the last absolute joke of a place, waited ages even rho wasn't even busy this evening, after ordering n paying came n told us there's no cheese for the burgers so they'll be without... order eventually comes ages after turns up beef patties were dry n awful, no salad or sauces on any of the burgers, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger had NO bacon on... complained ended up with a sorry rebrought the burger to me with COLD yes cold bacon on it 🤮 absolute disgusting staff were shocking seen plenty of other people complaining about their orders not being right also n even home delivery couriers moaning! Fancy running out of cheese 🙈😂 then oh so funnily some people brought a brown box in which must of been the cheese 😂😂😂😂😂😂 sort your staff out n learn how to make proper burger king. Been to far better ones that's for sure, wasted my money.
Just ordered a home delivery , ordered 2 meals for only 1 meal to arrive yet both meals are clearly on the bag ticket. I'm sorry but how do you get it so horribly wrong? They charge a service fee as well....very disappointed BurgerKing
Waited 2.5 hours and called 8+ times.. no reply. On top of that they said my order was delivered but it never arrived. I never leave any reviews anywhere but this one is well deserved. Worst experience I’ve ever had on a delivery.
Waited 25 minutes for my veggie whopper to come out cold, nobody in drive thru and 2 orders before me. my order was cleared off the screen too so i was unsure what was going on. floor was dirty and so were tables. it was lovely when it first opened by has not slipped standards significantly.
First time coming here with some friends waited around 15 minutes for food for the whole order to be wrong. The lady that served us was lovely. The man that come over to our table was rude, will not be returning think he was a manager.
I recently had a dreadful experience at the Burger King on retail park Chester a few days ago. To say the service was terrible would be an absolute understatement. We waited an unreasonably long time for our food, far longer than you’d expect for fast food. The server, a thin tall guy wearing black glasses, was a major part of the problem. He was using a headset, talking and giggling with someone across it while many of us were waiting for our orders. This was extremely unprofessional. Instead of focusing on his job, he seemed more interested in joking around with his colleagues. When he finally handed over our order, he spoke in an odd manner and was not apologetic about the delay. The whole experience was very unpleasant and frustrating due to this. I won’t be returning to this Burger King branch, and I would advise others to avoid it as well. This experience was a stark reminder of how much poor service can impact a business.
Terrible service! Our order came with no drinks at all , my husband went to the counter with the receipt only to be challenged by the staff , they finally worked out the receipt and gave us the drinks . We then realised there were a portion of chips missing , this was resolved and we noticed all the sauces we chose on the screen were also missing, by this point my husbands food was going cold. He opened his burger to find it had no sauce on at all so he took it back to the counter only to be told he needed to pay extra if he wanted sauce. He refused to pay extra and told them to forget it. Once we had finished the meal the man who tried to charge for sauce came over and put some sauce on the table ! Terrible experience...with rude staff.
At least stick to the advertised opening times! Two visits and still not managed to get food. Not good for first impression on your opening week. Can't rate food, service or atmosphere properly as I've not had the pleasure of getting inside yet! The amount of disappointed potential customers that I've sat here observing is incredible - 56 and counting before 8PM - plenty of lost revenue for sure!
Horrible experience with Uber eats delivery twice. The food came 1 hour 15 minutes later and stone cold with majority being chips and cheese. Called uber after half hour, no response and asked us to wait as they can’t do anything. When the food arrived, because apparently no driver was found for an hour, so when I called them, uber said, it came in reasonable time (1 hour 20mins) so they can’t do anything about it. Horrible experience! I don’t understand how Burger King chain can partner up with uber. Will never use them! Horrible customer service. If you want it delivered, try just eat or Deliveroo, never uber eats!
Was mega excited to finally get a Burger King back in chester, only to be seriously disappointed, Ordered a double cheeseburger, when I opened it I had to ask if they had given me a kids burger by mistake it was that small, it was also cold, stale bread, very little sauce. I also asked for some ketchup to dip our chips in, extra 30p. Absolute disgrace and rip off. Will never be returning to another Burger King

Gordon Ramsey must be short of money to get involved with these jokers. 20 minutes to prepare a cold burnt burger takes some doing, to top it off they forgot the fries. Utter disaster, unhelpful staff, why does anyone buy from them?
Get orders wrong multiple times and do not refund the amount you paid online. Starting to think they do it on purpose! Would not recommend this specific restaurant.
We had been told be price at the screen and they increased the price at the pay centre, staff were unbelievably rude to myself and my partner, they had made a mistake but did not want to own up or rectify. Terrible service and still got the order wrong. Do not recommend and how we were treated was disrespectful.
Called in for lunch Friday afternoon. Ordered via touch screen - no manned service available. Whilst waiting, called into the only toilet (the other was a locked disabled). The tap wasn’t working - unable to wash hands. I called for assistance and asked for them to open disabled so I could wash my hands. I said it’s very poor that in a place serving food that no handwashing facilities were available, but tbh they didn’t seem that interested. The food arrived and it was cold. A double bacon cheeseburger and upon lifting the top bun off, found a pile of what looked like raw bacon on it. Took it back and several minutes later a hot burger was brought out. Everything on the burger was hot and I suspect it had been microwaved. Absolutely awful place. Avoid at all costs.
Takes too long to give food, 20 minutes average, thought this is supposed to be a fast food restaurant… Took too long and it was cold. Staff dont tend the till so you’re also stood waiting to pay/order with cash. Poor
The few times we ordered from here, it was never good. We ordered numerous times in 2024 when it was new, food was good the first time but went downhill very quickly. We were in the proximity a few weeks ago and decided to try it on a hunch it had improved - it had not. The interior is ridiculously small, no space anywhere and it’s dirty. I write the review now, as the numerous other Burger King locations are so much better than this one. We often visit the Cheshire Oaks branch which is considerably better.
Just been instore.. queue of people waiting for food after ordering. You could see the food just sat there going cold. Lady In front shaking her head after her fries come out stone cold. God knows how long she’d been waiting. No one seemed to be doing anything. After 15 minutes of no apologies for the delay or no explanation of why the food was sat there a not being served to customers I asked for a refund and left. The guys in front of me had been waiting 25 minutes before they go there food. Yet drive-through order and just eat orders where coming and going. Absolutely services. Never going there again.
