This was my favorite restaurant in Como, their specials are reasonably priced and taste really good. The flavor profile is pretty spot on to what I wanted from Italy but it's definitely Italian/Western and not pure Italian due to some of the changes they made to basic classic dishes. The veggie soup was good, it featured a lot of legumes which is helpful for vegans looking for protein fix. The carbonara tasted as if they mixed butter and cheese into it which isn't classicly done but something I personally do and it tastes better as a result. The Ragu is good but needs more salt.

Locale nel centro storico di Como. Buon aperitivi pre-cena durante le festività natalizie. Molta attenzione al cliente da parte del personale in sala e dei barman al bancone. Da buona emiliana ho gradito la simpatia e allegria del team mentre lavora. Bravi ragazzi !!!

Locale carino, peccato abbiano spazio limitato, infatti i tavoli esterni non sono molti ed anche piccoli. Personale giovane e dinamico, ma poco attenti nel seguire il cliente, soprattutto nell'ora di punta. Però sono fiduciosa e miglioreranno. Per il cibo non troppo soddisfatte, Cacio e Pepe aveva tanto pepe e...cacioooo dove sei? Riso alla milanese sembrava uno di quelli da scaldate nel microonde. Bagno unico e molto piccolo, non hanno molto spazio per tutto. Però abbastanza pulito.

Un angolo di Como tranquillo, ma purtroppo tutto un po' deludente, dai tavolini microscopici al cibo banale al servizio approssimativo. Un baretto con tavolini esterni gestito alla meno peggio.

Pessima esperienza. Cibo di scarsa qualità e preparato con ricette stravolte. Pasta con panna e salmone con il sugo di pomodoro??? Avevo chiesto se fosse in bianco, aveva detto di sì. Credo che i frequentatori siano solo stranieri e non conoscano i nostri piatti tipici. Prezzi alti. Affollato nonostante il dehors. Servizio medio.

I should have seen the reviews before I go. There are many restaurants around. I ordered a salad and my husband a pasta. Pasta was small, not enough to satisfy him. My salad was like 1 minute made salad (somebody opened a package of leaves in a dish and another package of smoked salmon on the top. And the price was similar to the others in the area.

The worst food I had on this trip. The service was ok, nothing impressive about it, they did their job, but were not very customer oriented. Paid 14 eur for that very very bad lasagna. Would not recommend.

All in all ok… small Portions and the pizza’s seem they were made in a pre fab thin bottom. Nice to have a quick bite or if you are looking lighter smaller portions

Locale prettamente turistico. Peccato...location carina ma qualità dei prodotti mediocre. Ho ordinato un primo ed è arrivato scotto, da ospedale, sicuramente per mano di un cuoco non italiano, la porzione appena sufficiente che, appena vista mi è venuto da pensare ad una scritta vista a Roma in un osteria tipica..."Co 80 grammi te so dì solo si è cotta".. .volevo dire, bene ....ora puoi portare la.porzione giusta. Ripeto....solo per turisti, ma non ci facciamo una bella figura. Peccato....non ci tornerò.

A me dispiace perché il personale davvero ineccepibile, ma la qualità è davvero sotto zero. Tutto fatto per fregare il turista. Il problema è che ci sono i turisti, ma ci siamo anche noi comaschi. Un aperitivo con calice di vino (due dita scarse) con pane olio e sale (due fettine, non potevo crederci, anche perché non era il pane di Altamura, ma semplice pane da supermercato) e due patatine scarse, ma con si fa ? 8 euro. C’è davvero tutto da modificare. Finché a loro andrà bene servire la pizza all’ananas ai turisti …

I wish I saw the reviews before coming in. The restaurant is extremely cramped, the food is not nice and the staff were rude. In particular the female waitress working today, she had a bad attitude and she kept blowing her nose behind the bar also. V unhygienic. Avoid this place. Reading reviews after and see the owner fights with people’s comments, maybe spend more time addressing the issues with the restaurant and food

I am gutted that I didn’t check the reviews before going into this place that we picked randomly It rarely happens that I would score a restaurant below 4 and 5 and but it all honesty the food was below average - lasagna was overcooked. If I was not hungry, I would simply just refuse this dish after one bite. People around us smoked a lot of cigarettes which spoilt the experience. The only positive side of this place was the staff - they were really friendly and nice. Personally I would not recommend or visit this place again

Questa mattina alle 8 mi sono recata presso questo locale con l'intenzione di fare colazione e trovo chiuso. Sono ripassata verso le 8.45 e trovo una ragazza che stava aprendo. Alla mia domanda se il locale fosse chiuso, mi ha risposto di sì. Ho chiesto se fosse chiuso per ferie ed, in modo scortese, mi ha detto che era "chiuso chiuso". Io ho interpretato che fosse chiuso definitivamente. Dopo aver consultato gli orari di apertura su Gooogle (dalle 10 in poi), sono ripassata alle 10.30 ed il locale era aperto. Magari io ho interpretato male la risposta, ma la ragazza poteva dirmi gli orari di apertura. E comunque, chiamandosi "Il caffè dei viaggiatori", presumo che siano servite anche colazioni almeno dalle 7 in poi come tutti i bar.

Tavolino sporco e all'aperitivo non ci sono state nemmeno date due patatine da accompagnare. Pochissima scelta e costi eccessivi, specie se si paga come fosse un aperitivo. Non lo consiglio per niente.

Il locale promette bene da fuori, ma dentro è tutta un’altra storia. Servizio lento e distratto, aperitivo deludente: cocktail nella media e mancanza di stuzzichini.

Comprendo la necessità di un pavone di esibire la bionditudine delle sue innumerevoli penne per sbaldorire il pubblico femminile, ma sarebbe stato gradito se tra una pavoneggiata e l'altra il pavone si fosse accorto che aveva dimenticato di nutrire il reame, che sentitosi offeso e non considerato, migró a bar migliore. Durante l'attesa (durata circa 3 lustri e mezzo) mi è cresciuto un capello bianco. Sconsiglio per i milanesi che vanno di fretta e per chi non ha voglia di stressare il cuoio capelluto

Esperienza pessima. In menu la pizza costava 10€, ma al momento di pagare mi hanno fatto pagare 20€ senza la fattura.Per di più, pizza di impasto chiaramente surgelato, qualità bassissima. Prezzi ingannevoli e zero trasparenza. Non lo consiglio assolutamente.

It wasn’t busy, but they were super slow to take our orders, then they did not bring one of our plates of food, and then said they thought we wanted one plate after everyone else had finished eating, as they didn’t want to admit they forgot it. Then when we went to pay, they wouldn’t split the check. If you are wanting sullen waiters, super slow service, loud music, then this is the place for you. If you want anything as a paying customer, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

DON'T GO! We ordered bruschetta as a starter, but it was really bad and not prepared in the Italian way. Thank goodness we didn't order a main course. The service was terrible! No hospitality, and then they charge €2.50 per person for service, come on! 🥲 We spent €26 for a disgusting bruschetta, beer, and wine. Such a waste.

One word: Don’t. Looks atmospheric and promising but do yourself a favor and read the reviews before falling for the red-check tablecloths. Nasty tasting pasta. The runny, mushroom sauce tasted metallic like it was dumped from a can. After a few tries, I left it all in the bowl and went elsewhere. Staff indifferent. They didn’t even seem surprised when I got up, paid and left.

Frozen eggplant parmesan, stale bread, tiny portions and minced meat with hard pieces that couldn’t be chewed. We made the mistake of not reading the reviews first — and we paid the price. With so many bad reviews, instead of improving, the owner responds aggressively. Never again!

This place is ridiculously bad, the food is the worst I've had in a long time. The pizza was just horrible. Canned mushrooms, thick prosciutto cubes, the dough just horrible. No love went into this at all and no skill whatsoever. If you make a simple pizza at home it will be much better, even frozen pizza from the supermarket is miles ahead of this. Pasta also not well made, small portion size, the parmesan you get in a small plastic bag. Owner doesn't seem to care about the food he serves. Service staff was friendly though.

Terrible place🤢🤮 Waiters are NOT customer-oriented, food is awful! Especially spaghetti dish was over-boiled and the style of plates are like in the kindergarten... They also take service money for nothing! So look carefully in your bill. I had to wait 10 min in front of the restaurant, although the waiters saw me waiting, as the result - no reaction. DON'T RECOMMEND! Never ever !

Very disappointing, pizza was a tortilla, mozzarella was still frozen, overpriced. Service was nonchalant. We confronted about the tortilla cheapo, server told us is called piani pizza which is not a thing coming from genuine Italien. The Taliatele bolognese comes in a kids bowl, which is inhaled in seconds by normal adult. The grec salade comes in a giant dog bowl. Anyways, the advertisement of the menu is wrong and the food is genuinely bad, we couldve made it better at home by freaking kids. Anyway, anyone who is seeing this, please dont go to this place, its a shame to the italian culture and disrespectful to the customers. *this is a piani pizza…

Terrible experience that is not representative of the area. After a long travel, we arrived here hungry for a late lunch looking forward to try the Italian cuisine. The place looked nice and not too expensive. After waiting almost 20 minutes, I finally got contact with a waiter that happily told me that he was done and going home. It seemed the staff is hardly interested, happy or motivated to work here or show any sense of hospitality. We considered leaving but were so hungry we decided to stay. A mistake on our part. After a few minutes we finally could order drinks, and what we thought would be pizza. The drinks were served in cans and plastic bottles, accompanied by (very) dirty glasses. One glass had clear lipstick marks on it, and the other food remains. Since it seemed impossible to contact any staff (all hanging out in the bar area), we had to wait a while before getting supposedly clean glasses, of which 1 was still very dirty. Cutlery is provided in paper bags, and we only got one set for two. Again, it took forever to ask for additional cutlery from a reluctant young man, very disinterested in serving. The pizza, is a style we never experienced, served on a tortilla and not well baked. It's just not very good and very disappointing, any frozen pizza ever had was better. This is indicated and our fault for not clearly grasping this type of pizza existed, but we will make sure to never order it again. We were very disappointed with this first Como experience and really hoped this was not the case everywhere. Luckily, we have now sampled some great local dishes and wines, served with the most enthusiasm and hospitality. It was just this place where I would really not recommend anyone to go.

This is what they call pizza? Had the black rice with shrimp, no flavor, the cheese on the pizza was barely melted and covered with canned tomatoes, on top of a tortilla. My daughter risotto was okay. 0/10 do not recommend
