Amazing vegan food. Highly recommend to everyone. I had the starter, lasagna, and tiramisu (we shared). Service was attentive and warm. Dogs allowed!
We have tried many other vegan restaurants in other Europe countries except this one at home. I was sceptical with their Lasagne-theme but surprisingly we have found more options than just lasagne on the menu when we were dining in. The ingredients they used are seasonal vegetables. The wine they serve are also good. I was really quite impressed. My non-vegan husband has been more satisfied with the dining experience and he would definitely return to try more dishes.
One of the best meals we had in Italy. Everything we had was superb, but the two highlights were the lasagnas and the tiramisu. We tried two lasagnas, and both just melted in our mouths. The tiramisu is one of the best vegan tiramisus we ever had, if not the best. The staff is so nice and friendly. the place is dog friendly too. We just had an all around great time. FYI - they have another location in Milano.
We visited Como on a day trip from Milan. This was our favourite meal. Exceptional food and flavours, beautifully presented. The owner was very welcoming and explained the concept of the restaurant. We are meat eaters but would be more inclined towards a plant based menu after this visit.
What a delicious experience! A must visit when in Como 😍 It seemed like everything was vegan (!!) and everything was definitely organic! Creative, delicious meals that had us coming back two nights in a row!! The soy Bolognese Lasagna is highly recommended 🤤 Next time we're in Como, we are coming back! Too many delicious things to try on the menu for two nights ☺️
Lughino is a small, cozy restaurant with a really warm vibe. We started with bruschetta as an appetiser. Simple but super tasty and fresh. For the main dishes, we had the zucchini lasagna and pasta, and both were great. The lasagna was definitely the highlight — homemade, creamy, and full of flavor. You can tell they put care into what they do. The bread was also homemade and really good, and the beer was nice and cold — just what you want with Italian food. The service was excellent too. The waiters were friendly and took the time to explain the dishes, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, good food, good service, and a great atmosphere. If you like cozy places and amazing lasagna, this spot is definitely worth trying.
We had an amazing vegetarian/Vegan meal here. After a week in Italy (land of butter and cheese), we were spoilt for choice. Everything we had was delicious and beautifully cooked. Portions were generous (so bring an appetite). Our server was brilliant helpful and friendly and at first on his own we had a lovely table outside by a planter, which was a herb garden so fresh basil was added to the dish. We couldn't have enjoyed the meal more. A big thanks to you all. We dined early-ish and had plenty of seats, however by the time we left it was filling up fast. If you want something traditional Italian, that is not pizza or cheese based foods, or a vegan/vegetarian meal, this place is really worth a try. Highly recommended.
Delicious food, even for those who aren’t vegan. It’s a great place to mix up your meals with something a bit different than the average Italian pizza or pasta. We really enjoyed the signature lasagna as well as the gnocchi, and we love had the menu had specific wine recommendations for each dish. Highly recommend!
Professional service. Starter was good but not exciting. Lasagna very yummy but I liked the pumpkin lasagna better than the soy Bolognese lasagna. Only thing that could be better would be to add a little bit of different textures. The desert is very good. Good balance out of sweet and nutty flavors .
We saw this vegan restaurant by coincidence as we walked along a quieter street in Como. The sign "come Natura insegna" (like nature teaches) attracted us to try it out. Then, we noticed that in the menu was all dishes with no meat. That's when we realised that it was a vegan restaurant that specialises in vegan lasagna and they make lots of things from scratch including whole-grained bread. We ordered several dishes from each section to try. The food is absolutely healthy for the body. The service was very good and friendly. The pistachio dessert and espresso were the must try. The menu seems to change regularly. We definitely felt great after the meal and would go back there again.
I'm not vegan or even vegetarian but this place has the best food we've had this trip. Honestly the best lasagne I've ever eaten. It looks a little strange in my pic but trust me. Friendly and professional staff who speak English and a great selection of drinks. This place is a must visit.
A wonderful dining experience. The menu is fully organic and vegan, but there’s no shortage of options to choose from. I booked a reservation through TheFork app, which included a discount, even though it wasn’t too busy. Our server was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The food, which didn’t always have the best “look”, tasted incredible. We tried two different kinds of lasagna among other things. I recommend trying the melon risotto - it has some really unique flavours. Even the bread was amazing. When I left, they called me a few minutes later to let me know I had forgotten a bag, which I really appreciated.
Amazing Vegan restaurant with a menu that changes daily. We don't usually eat at the same restaurant twice in the same trip but with a different menu each day, we had dinner here 2 out of 3 nights. The lasagnes are so flavourful and fresh. The food is well priced for the presentation, portion and taste. I recommended this restaurant to anyone, whether you’re vegan or not. It will not disappoint.
TLDR: The ONLY good vegan restaurant in the Como area. Skip all the rest and just come here. Trust me, we tried them all. Service: The owner is passionate and kind. The staff are attentive, well-spoken, and quick. Some of the best service in Northern Italy. Atmosphere: Good outdoor seating as well as a sizeable space indoors as well for Como. Clean and well put together. The bathrooms could use a spruce up as lots of traffic comes through here. Food: As I said, best vegan food in town. The Goose and Vegami are gross in comparison. We ate here three times. Never once did we have a bad dish. The lasagna menu rotates daily so there is always something new to try. The ingredients are fresh and the chef clearly cares about every step of the food journey. The only reason why we are giving it 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with flavor explosions... I know Northern Italy is more reserved with its creamy flavors, and as I said, while NOTHING was bad, the dishes were not mind-blowing either. The lasagnas were all unique but sometimes they were too dry and needed more sauce. The Primi's are by far the best dishes while the Secondi's are okay. Each secondi felt deconstructed and we would have prefered a more complete dish for those. When we think back on our 3 weeks in Italy, we are very glad this place existed or we would have starved in Como, but none of our fave dishes came from here either. Since the chef/owner will likely read this, I would just recommend maybe trying a bit more spice and herb to really pack a punch and really impress all the guests :)
Visited Como for a day, and this was the vegan restaurant that was nearby and well recommended. In my opinion, the restaurant is nice, elegant seating and great staff. The Food was average, they could improve the taste of the dishes by adding some flavorful ad-ons. the service was absolutely fantastic. My favorite dish of all was the spinach dumplings and the chocolate cake with coconut dessert.
