I just found this restaurant and it’s my favorite burger now. People complain about service but the restaurant is always packed. Try to go early and you will have a great experience. Must order: the burgers! My fav is the first one in the menu with bbq sauce. Fries are not just to beautify your plate. They’re really good! Ask for their garlic dressing. The house made pickles are addictive. I buy a container to bring home every time I go there. If I were you I’d order the house made bourbon bread pudding. Thank me later!
This place serves one of the best burgers in the city. The food was excellent and the service was good. The only downside was a mandatory 20% service charge applied for parties of more than six people. In our case, the group included three children, which we felt should not be treated the same as a large adult party. Apart from this issue, we enjoyed our visit.
Great place in downtown Walnut Creek for a burger and drink. We tried their bison, lamb, fish and crabcake burger , and all were delicious. I tried their lamb burger, which was exceptional, juicy and tasted like a good old burger. Their burger comes with fries, which are just fries, not secondary flavorings and toppings. This place makes the food as it should be, simple, tasty and authentic.
Lovely atmosphere and great Authentic American foods with many types of burgers. The service is fascinating and the quality of their salads and foods is incredible. Great restaurant to wind down after many hours of work and enjoy the life for a short time .
The kale Caesar salad, duck burger, Johnny cash burger, sweet potatoes fries and bread pudding dessert live rent free in my mind (and dreams) so so so good for a classic lunch, I’ve been here twice and can’t wait to be back to try more dishes!
Great happy hour here! Wasn't too busy on a Monday afternoon and we sat right down at the bar. We orders some drinks from the friendly bartender then ordered the fish tacos. Beware - these can be a little spicy! They bring the sauce on the side so you can control the heat experience. Plenty of other interesting food options on the menu as well. Great burgers I tried all three and they were all delicious. Pretty loud inside which means it’s definitely kid friendly you won’t have to worry about your kids being happy loud or on a tantrum Rant😁.
If you’re looking for top-notch burgers and beers, Broderick is the spot! The food is delicious all around, with a great variety of options, from juicy burgers and tasty sandwiches to tacos and all kinds of loaded fries. My personal favorite is EL CHARRO burger. If you’re in the mood for brunch, they’ve got you covered. The chilaquiles with pork chile verde were awesome. The meat was tender, and the dish was packed with flavor. You really can’t go wrong here!
Went on a Friday for lunch, was seated right away. Had the Gold Rush burger and Chop(p) Cheese sandwich, and they were very good - burger was juicy, chopp cheese ground beef was seasoned well, and flavorful. Little Paloma mocktail was refreshing. Lesher parking garage was about a block away, and offered one hour free parking.
Plenty of parking. Easy to find corner spot. Great outdoor seating, with some shade. For a party of 5 on a Sunday we waited about 15minutes to be seated. Our server was great & quick with waters & stayed on top of keeping our drinks refilled. It was my family's first time, so our friend that brought us there suggested what we should get. Their menu had tons of options. Food was great we all enjoyed what we got. I only had left overs because the portions were filling for me too. They have a house sauce that I of course wanted to take home that had to go with my leftovers. Would definitely eat here again.
The service was excellent and the food was high quality. The outdoor seating had great vibes and was super relaxing, with country music playing in the background. I like that we were not rushed to get the check and got to enjoy our meal. I will definitely recommend to friends and revisit!
Went in for a late lunch during happy hour. Ordered three little sliders and garlic fries. Staff was friendly and helpful. We sat outside on the patio which was covered from the sun and surrounded by light greenery. For it being a cheep little happy hour meal, we were pleasantly surprised by volume. Between three of us, we got 3 orders of sliders and 2 orders of garlic fries, just waters, we would’ve been perfect on 2 orders of sliders and 1 fry. Great value for volume of food. Very tasty, would come back!
Good food and drink. Solid service. The wings were tasty. A half dozen is really like an actual dozen since you get both flats and drums in one. The chicken tacos were legit. Super flavorful. The best was the Johnny cash burger though. Delicious! Good beer selection, and the cocktails were solid too. Rasheed was our server. Super cool, great recommendations on food, and pretty attentive too.
I loved their unique list of craft cocktails. They had a long list of hamburgers and sandwiches. The Reuben did not disappoint!!! I was pleasantly surprised by their side salad, which was big enough to be it's own meal. The portion sizes were very generous. We left the restaurant with a few take home boxes and very happy with this dining experience. Great and friendly customer service with a nice country vibe! I would definitely go back!
So happy I finally tried this gem downtown walnut creek. I sat outside with a friend and her small dog during happy hour. Their happy hour menu has a great drink/food selection and their burgers are to die for! I can't wait to go back and try more things on their menu. My food came quickly and the food that was delivered to other tables looked delicious as well.

I've been to this restaurant a number of times over the years, including once recently. I believe it is the best burger in the area in terms of taste, which is why I go back. Some of the other offerings are also quite good. Some of the prices here are very high, however, even for the area. Between those two data points, I'll knock this one star. The service has always been good, with no issues, but I cannot recall anything stand-out. The atmosphere is generic "millennial burger place." Not noteworthy either way.
We dined outside and atmosphere was great but it can get a bit crowded when the area is full. Fast service and delicious food. I should have read the description of my salad a little closer because I didn’t expect fries to be mixed in my steak salad. If you enjoy people and car watching, you will enjoy your outdoor dining experience.
Sooooo …. Once I saw MUDSLIDES on their menu, it was over for me! I inhaled them first one and only got halfway thru the second. While inhaling my first mudslide, I munched on fries and gravy. Ya’ll. FRIES AND GRAVY. Yes. With the second Mudslide came the burger and sweet potato fries while Husband dug into Buffalo wings. I was so stuffed from sucking down the first Mudslide, I seriously only took maybe four knife-and-fork bites of my burger. But oh those were so delish! And whoever’s playlist was on, excellent job! Our server was super nice! Overall, def recommend! It’s now three hours later and I’m in bed with a still-full belly!

We went there on Valentine's Day. The only choice we had was the fixed menu. I wanted to try additional items in the regular menu, but none was available. The sea bas was excellent. The meatball was pretty tasty. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the portion was tiny. The French fried was undercooked and was not eatable. The service was horrible since they were servery under staff. The tables were too close together so the staff could not even go between them to deliver food to some tables. We waited very long to be served each course. We had to ask the server 3 times to finally get a box for leftover. The dinner took 2.5 hours instead of less than an hour. Small portion and overpriced menu. We were disappointed.
