We we greeted by the owner and he even sat us to our table, a great place for some food and drinks!

Stopped in here on a visit to the area. Plenty of beer selections and full bar. Can sit in the bar area or an adjacent room with sports on multiple screens in both areas. Lots of pub grub options. Enjoyed the cheeseburger wrap. Service was friendly and on point. Would love to come back for the wings.

Amazing food, great service, reasonable prices, always clean, constantly updated seasonal beers, and being able to throw peanut shells on the floor is always a blast for anyone of any age! There's also seasonal outdoor seating available which is just as well serviced as the inside, unlike many other restaurants with outdoor seating that I've been to. Both the owner and staff are also always very hospitable and very pleasant, I have yet to be disappointed here in any way.

I had an excellent Philly Cheesesteak and enjoyed seeing a picture of my fathers first Corning East football team as a head coach.

Great sports bar. "Oh boy" wings were perfect hotness with good flavor. Wife had hot and were cooked just as ordered. Wineglass race weekend with a lot of out of town guest and they did there best to get every game on. GO BILLS!

I am so happy I found this place. Great food, prices, and service. Reuben was great, blue cheese oinker burger, pulled pork...everything was great. We were there for lunch on July 20th at 1:30 big reservation. We can't remember our servers name but she was amazing dark curly haired lady. Thank you!

Woodhouse never disappoints. Food is always amazing. Started with a winter cocktail the Jack Frost, OMG amazing with coconut rim! We had fried pickles, these at Woodhouse are the best I've ever had with some kick in the breading. We had buffalo wings, amazing here, sauce is top notch. I've had many of their macs, all fabulous. And their chicken slovaki salad with lots of feta for some greens.

I was here with my family for dinner, I ordered a Trojan burger with Fresh cut fries, and, my god, it was the best burger I had ever had in my life. I don’t know how to describe it further. You just have to try it to know what I’m talking about.

I was in from out of town, and asked what they're known for; recommendations were Viking Burger and Reuben. If some says they're known for their Reuben, I gotta be the Judge of it! And it was one of the best I've ever had! Did not disappoint.

Amazing! This place is a 10 every year when we visit from VT. Our server, Alivia with an “A” was such a great server. Friendly, helpful, quick and witty. An absolute asset to this establishment. Always fresh! I’ve been here more than a dozen times in the last few years and the food is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes it can get a little busy but the servers keep you informed. I highly recommend the Reuben, Viking Burger and WINGS! Great choice to eat in Corning.

This place is awesome. Dinning room for families and the best bar in town, especially for ANY game. The food is always top notch, the staff friendly and attentive, and beer cold. Most draughts around Corning, great wings, top notch fish fry, and the Ruben is second to none. Always a good time at the Woodhouse.

I was not disappointed at all with the turkey wrap that I ordered! The meat was moist, tender and very tasty. The prices were on the upper end of my budget but it was well worth the price. Our waitress was top notch with service, promptness and friendliness! I would definitely recommend this hometown restaurant to others!

Best traditional style Buffalo Wings in Southern Tier of NY. Service was pretty fast for a table of 12, and completely. Atmosphere is good. TVs visible from every seat. A bit loud but not excessive for a sports bar. I could still hold a conversation across the table easily.

The owner and staff are always on point. Need a drink you've got it in seconds. The food is great, I feel bad for calling it bar food. The wings are always crispy, the wraps are always fresh, and dont get me started on the fish fry. My only complaint is they got rid of the hangover burger haha. Great spot for just you or your whole family. When it's nice the outdoor seating is highly recommended.

Awesome everything! Wings are top notch, and I used to work at THE premium wing restaurant in the Corning area a few years back. Many great items on the menu, service is generally quick (depending on the number of patrons) and friendly. Great place for getting lunch, dinner, takeout, or hanging out with friends to watch a sporting event!

I had the “Spartan Wrap” with onion rings and was spectacular. Atmosphere is amazing, lots of tv where you can watch sports and the waitress was super friendly. The “Viking Wrap” is amazingly good too

Chef Tim Davis makes the best fried chicken or shrimp you've ever had in your entire life...PERIOD! easily the best chicken wings in town maybe the best I've ever had! get the tater tots as a side with anything...and don't forget a side of ranch or honey mustard with them. Also the best ive EVER had! Though technically a sports bar is absolutely gorgeous on the interior! and 100% family-friendly! The hardest working staff in town and bartenders and you'll always find a good new friend among the regulars! basically the best sports bar to ever exist...almost forgot to mention the entire interior is completely covered with the biggest TVs in the highest quality 4K you ever seen in such a cozy space....tons of outdoor patio seating and even the TV on the back patio!

It's just what you would expect from a sports bar. The food is good sports bar food, and there are television screens all over the place. Have yet to have a meal I didn't enjoy there.

Very very busy. Don't expect to get in and out quickly. But if you have the time, it's great! Friendly service, good food, fun atmosphere. Corned beef on the Reuben sandwich was awesome - melted in your mouth. Reasonably priced drinks.

Second time we have been here. We were there on May 4th. Nice lunch spot. Our server was really nice. My Reuben was really good, husband got the spicy chicken sub. He said it was good. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. The only negative I have is the sausage stuffed peppers. It was like a whole link inside a pepper smothered in red sauce with mozzarella. Not horrible just not what I expected when you think sausage stuffed peppers.

We are from out of town and just happened upon this place. Everything was excellent! I had 2 children with me and the atmosphere was fun but appropriate. Portions were great and the service (Casey) was excellent!

Awesome place! I got the wings and they were cooked perfectly! Loved that you could order wings in fives. The service and atmosphere were great! Will for sure stop back when cheering on the Red Barons baseball team.

I loved everything about this place. We got to Woodhouse at a great time. There were a few seats left. We were greeted by one of the very friendly waitresses, she told us to take a seat and they be with us momentarily. Our waitress was very friendly. As fast as people left, more showed up. Tables were taken care of immediately. Fish fry was great, I had the fish with macaroni & cheese and coleslaw, my partner had fish with fries. We both like our choices. I don't think i am fussy with mac and cheese but this was the best since we have been doing our weekly fish fry. I highly recommend them.

I've always appreciated Woodhouse. The staples are good and the servers are friendly and attentive, unless it is super busy. I haven't heard complaints about the food from friends and family. Perhaps the only criticism is that the wings have gotten a little smaller over the years. Overall, pretty solid spot.

Pleasant experience eating here after visiting the Museum of Glass and I would recommend. Place is surprisingly spacious inside with front back and outside seating options. We were greeted right away and brought menus and cutlery. The menu had a great selection of apps, burgers, wraps, wings, salads, and sides. Ordered wings with sweet chili sauce, side Caesar salad, a cheeseburger cooked medium and tater tots. Everything was good and tasted fresh. My partner and I devoured the food and everything was affordable. No drinks this time because we were getting on the road, but it was the middle of the day and the bar was full with more people coming as we closed the check. They do add a 5% fee if you pay with card over cash, but there’s an ATM on site and the prices were so good you don’t really notice. Also, most restaurants do this now so it was no biggie. Tons of TVs and a lottery machine behind the bar as well.

Unbelievable, atmosphere, cleanliness, exceptional service and friendly staff. Now let me get to the food. Top notch food that for a sports bar is above the expectations of any one. They give good portions and the flavor is on the money! The owner has done his work and the time he has put in shows with the quality establishment he has created. The Bleu Oinker Burger is always a winner and the wings stand for themselves! Hats off to the staff he has hired and trained. Hard work pays off! Keep the faith and if you haven't been I suggest you stop by for a visit! 5-25: It has been a while since I have been here, and as always it does not disappoint. Once again had the Bleu Oinker Burger and it was perfectly cooked, bacon could always be crispier(personal preference)but still very good. I ordered the fries with this and they were plentiful and hot and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive to each persons needs. So many choices, not only on the menu but places to sitting and enjoy the food. 3 of us shared our orders so as to be able to try more of their offerings, all tasty. Service was prompt, even when more people joined our group.

Great little bar in downtown Corning. The girls were exceptionally nice. My buddy got a steak sandwich and said it was the best. Overall good time.

Food is great. Sometimes it can take quite a while to get service out in the bar area, if you have a set lunch hour call ahead to order food.

Pretty busy when we got there, but our waitress did a great job keeping up. Food was great. The nachos actually had a proper chip to beef/cheese ratio. As for the rest I'd say it was better than stadium food but still stadium food.

Food is always good (certainly upscaled from a typical sports bar) and even earned the praise of my MiL who'se not easily impressed. Service is a strong point even at busy times. They do a lot with limited space, and you'll find a wait at peak times even though their location is a little stroll from Market Street. The biggest challenge is finding parking. It's always available if you're willing to walk a block, so don't let that stop you from trying this place.

It's a sports bar and can be noisy. So, if you want a quiet spot to chat, don't go on game days. The food is always good!! And there is outdoor seating when the weather permits.

Everything was good except for the air conditioning vent under the table. Brrrrr.

Very fast service and great attitude from my servers. I had Just finished a 7 day canoe trip with little hot food during the voyage. I ordered a spinach salad with chicken/ balsamic. It arrived rather small looking. But I was mistaken, plenty chicken, great dressing and more than enough veggies for my big empty belly. Wood house is a recommend sports pub with decent menu in mho.

This bar/ restaurant is a solid peice of Corning. It's been here longer than I can remember and it shows to stand the test of time. An extensive eat in menu (and take out) and the best waffle fries I've ever had. Service was good and food came fast. Very relaxed environment and easy going staff. Everything seemed pretty clean and staff seemed experienced. Food was a bit more than I expected, dropped $60 (that's with minimum tip I spent more than this) on an appetizer, 3 Coors lights, and two orders of wings. One of which was a large order. Reasonably priced to be fair. The bar looks a little bit dated but is nice, and the parking lot was kinda tight but very minor complaints. I went to this bar/ restaurant for the first time ever today and honestly pretty well enjoyed myself. I plan on returning, and hope others will be impressed as well.

This place is more of a bar than a grill. It is very loud in there. The waitress was friendly. Though they are very slow. Their sausage and peppers was phenomenal. Their wings have good flavor. The prime rib also has good flavor but it was over cooked. Asked for medium, it was closer to well done. Would have probably been a lot better if cook correctly.

Long wait, but food was good! One of the only places around that everyone in the family can find something to eat. I usually like a healthier option, so had the veggie wrap. It was pretty good! Daughter had grilled cheese and loved it.

Great food, always packed, may have to wait for a table! Great hometown hang out!! If you have hearing issues, sitting in the front is not the best place, as it's very loud. The back would be a much better option for seating. Super friendly staff that remember what you drink!!

My friend and I stopped to eat her after our visit to the Museum of Glass in early Oct. 2025. Upon arrival there were only 2 other people present. Suddenly, the place filled up and every table n our section was filled with 2 separate groups of people. Julie was the ONLY waitress serving at that time, but she handled everything well. The food was great and we enjoyed a delicious, simple meal. My only suggestion---SMILE Julie..you are a pretty gal ;>) You did a great job of handling a busy day!

Not fancy, casual setting and “game’s on” on Monday night. They have excellent wings - even without the dip. Ample portions with fast, friendly service.

Food was very very good. Would go back for the good but the service from the waitress sucked. In an hour she was at our table 4 times. I stood at the register for 5 minutes waiting to pay. She never asked if we wanted a box for the left overs. Hopefully next time we go back the service is better.

Nice place, good atmosphere. Not sold on the chicken wings, these are not Buffalo style for sure, tasted like they just poured Franks Red Hot on them straight from the bottle, was a good mix of drums & flats however.

For me, this place is slipping. They use to have 10 piece wing orders split so you could have two types of sauces. Not anymore, you have to buy 2 five piece orders at much higher price. Adding that they have NOT lowered their wing prices after the COVID shortage like others have. Service was slow ... but since they seemed to be doing lots of business... I must be one of the few that does not support them charging more for less.

Actually have a very nice menu. Service was good, food just okay. Had a chicken Philly sandwich. Tasted pretty good but a bit dry. Also felt the peppers could have been cut a little smaller, but that's just my preference.

Took a long time for someone to greet us despite having only one other person at the bar. People at the table behind us got their beverages and order in before we even got a menu. Attitude of bartender was not welcoming. On a lunch break, about 20 minutes after being here was able to place an order. I'm pretty nervous I won't have time to eat before I have to get back to work.

Just okay. Bartender was a little unfriendly and sharp but may be because she was very busy/understaffed. However I had read that in other reviews too. The burger I had was fine not great. The beer was overpriced. $8 for a beer. It was a seasonal beer but I’ve had exact same beer at other bars for the normal $6.50 (no not happy hour). There are better and friendlier places to eat in Corning but I’ll try here again someday and update my review if it was better.

Beer selection was pretty good, service was a bit slow for a smaller crowd but the wings were pretty amazing - I've always liked their wings but seems like they have been recreated in a good way! Very crispy and served on a plate instead of mounded in a bowl. Well done! 3 stars for the improved beer selection, 4.5 stars for the wings, 3 stars for the service.

Went to try fish fry but didn't stay because bar was packed and it was VERY loud. We were told the wait could be close to an hour and the person we spoke to was quite rude. I've eaten wings here many times and they're always good. Their garlic parmesan wings are VERY GOOD! Really wanted to try their fish but if we try again, it will be early. Never before had an issue with rude customer service, so that threw me off a bit. Busy is never an excuse to be rude.

If grease is your thing this is the place. The service was great but I thing they should change their fryer oil at least once in a while. Beef on on weck was well done and dry. Onion rings needed to be degrease before eating. Everyone else's food was similar. Two stars was because the service was good.

My grandparents come here at least twice a month for Friday fish fry. We have a large family and every time we try to reserve a table, we are told they do not hold reservations over the phone. The last two times we have gone, the waitress has told us our party of 4 cannot sit because half of the tables are being reserved for a large party of whom 1 person is there to reserve. I understand the reasoning. But we will not be coming back. Just wanted to give some feedback. Good luck.

Can't speak about the food or drink for this place because: Went inside around 8pm 8-11-22 and waitress said we could seat ourselves outside. Did so; waited 10 mins and no service; no menus; nothing. Went inside again and asked if we could order and they told us they would send a waitress outside. Another 15 minutes later - nothing. Went down the street and was served immediately and got excellent Mexican food and a large margarita. 2 suggestions - improve your service a little bit and fix your website or get your vendor to fix it. It is broken on both Safari and Chrome (you have to click a bunch of buttons cause their security certificate is broken). We were also told that some bars in the area only treat the locals well. Not sure if this is one of them.

The food was ok. We got the stuffed pepper app and it was cold in the center. We ate it anyway because we were starved. The food came quick. The waitress was more worried about her friends than waiting on us. That was disappointing because she forgot my ranch dressing. I was already done eating when she noticed. We usually go to another popular restaurant but decided to try something new based on reviews. Not worth it.

On April 18, 2021, my family and I came here after church expecting to have a wonderful time. Unfortunately that was not the case. From the beginning the waitress was rude and seemed to be in a rush. After a period of time the waitress returned and took our orders. My husband ordered a hamburger and onion rings, and I ordered the Chicken and Spinach wrap. I read the ingredients for the wrap and besides the chicken and Spinach, there was also listed crushed pepper and garlic. When the food arrived, my husband's onion rings were cold and burnt. When it came to me receiving my plate, I noticed that there was grease all over my plate and there was a strong scent of garlic. I took a bite and all that I could taste was the garlic. I told my husband that I could not eat my wrap because of the overwhelming amount of garlic that was in there. My daughter took a bite and had to spit it into her napkin. My other daughter's fiance got sick just from the smell. We asked the waitress to come over and I told her about the garlic and she said that it was that strong because it was a new jar of garlic that had just been opened up. We asked to speak with the manager and this man came from the kitchen and as we were trying to explain to him the issues that we had, out of no where, he slammed his hand down on the table, snatched up the check and very rudely, while walking away, said that he would comp the meal. He came back with a new check, and still angry, slammed it on the table and started to walk away. I asked him why we had been billed for 5 drinks instead of 4. He got into my husband's space and said "YOU NEED TO READ THE MENU. THERE ARE NO FREE REFILLS!" By this time, I was extremely embarrassed and wanted to leave. The worst part of this whole situation was that this man acted this way infront of our 2 and 6 year old grandsons and they were scared. On top of all of that, my husband, daughter, future son-in-law and myself all got sick. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AND WE WILL BE LETTING ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY KNOW NOT TO COME HERE EVER!!!!!!! YOU ARE A HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A RESTAURANT!!!!!!

This place is an absolute joke. Every single time we try to give this place another chance that it may be better than the last time is an absolute regret! The service and customer service is absolutely horrendous to say the least. Get it together. Never giving this place my business again.

We did not eat here. I called and they said there was no wait. We arrived about 5 minutes later. There is no parking available (about 6 spots), walked in and could not figure out who was going to greet us. Finally asked bartender, who sent us to a hallway. Waited another 5+ minutes before someone greeted us, even though several employees walked by. When the hostess greeted us, we were informed it was a 20-30 minute wait. So we go from "no wait" and we don't need to put our name on the wait list, to over 20 minutes. Plus, you have to walk through a smokey area to get to the restaurant. This ended up being a pass for us.

The employees do not care. You will get better quality food at literally McDonald's. Had to ask them twice to put the ingredients listed on the menu onto my sandwich. My order was so completely screwed up it went directly into the trash can and I just ate nothing for dinner. Complete and total waste of money.

If I could give this place zero stars I would!!! I have gone to this place many times and the food was normally good but on multiple occasions the waitstaff was just horrendous!! Their may be 1 waitress that's worth a dam but most are too busy talking with their friends at other tables or just plain rude. I went in for the last time last Sunday to a half empty place and was told it was an hour wait for food. I ordered anyway and while asking the waitress a simple question about the order she about bit my head off!! Sat for a few minutes and decided to cancel my order and go somewhere that actually wanted my business. Not the first time I was treated badly but its definitely the last!!!. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!!!!!

The food is great, our waitress is great. But when I tried to get more hot water for my elderly parents another cup of hot water I was told by another waitress "this is not a coffee shop" and refuse to give me the hot water. I hope you don't treat your parents the same way when they need help.

The total for my take out was $41 for two burgers and two fries. The burger was extremely overcooked, dry, and burnt. My smothered fries were missing the cheese sauce and sour cream, and the chili was burnt and had definitely been cooled and reheated a few too many times. I tried calling them back several times for over an hour to let them know the food was less than satisfactory for the price, but they took the phone off the hook, I kept getting a busy dial tone.

We have been returning customers that come in often. Food is very good. We normally drive there and order fish fry to go. We do lunch when we can as well. We will not be returning after tonight. The same bartender/waitress that has waited on us almost every time we come in and order to go told us tonight after we drove there and we even called ahead, that we would have to sit in and unable to order it to go. I get being busy, but we drove there and were willing to wait just to have them make it and place it in to go containers verse making dirty plates and adding two customers to their busy night. Let me add, this is the first time they refused to do it. We have gone and ordered fish fry to go every time we have gone. We order every Friday just about. If not every other Friday. This was horrible service and we gave our business elsewhere. We will not be returning.

I just went to the woodhouse after church to experience what others have experienced. Little did I know, that before walking into the building, I was disrespected by someone who claimed to be the owner. Before walking in, I wanted to puff a couple puffs on my vape since it was extremely busy and didn’t know how long I’d be dining in for. The “owner” stated that it was busy due to the marathon and football Sunday, but in a very hateful tone and then said “also, you shouldn’t smoke out here because some people don’t like it” as she waved her hand over her face with a disgusting look. After we left, 2 men were smoking cigarettes out there in the same spot. If those rules be applied, they need to be applied to EVERYONE. Not just certain people. Especially since mine was a vape and I wasn’t blowing it in her direction. We still ate there, only because this was planned and we eat somewhere new after church every Sunday. This isn’t how you treat people. And it’s not how you treat customers. We also seen her talking to a waitress after that and staring at us, as if she’s talking about us. I guess some people have forgotten, if it wasn’t for your customers, you wouldn’t have a job. Needless to say, we won’t be back! Do better woodhouse. If you’re the owner, you shouldn’t be. And if the owner isn’t this woman, then she needs held accountable. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Our waitress, Julie, was snotty. She was sneering through our ordering process. Visibly impatient!!! Huffy everytime she approached our table. Our dining experience was stressful because of her crappy attitude. The food was great by the way. No one in our party of 3 wanted to give her a tip. She didn't earn it. People working with the public should have a friendlier attitude, especially if they are hoping for a nice tip. I tip courtesy. She had no courtesy; therefore no tip. I am requesting from management that they give her classes on serving the public. Also she won't have the opportunity to be my server again. Julie also wasn't nice as we were going to our car. A complete SNOT!!
