Tastytown is a family run business that uses their own beef to prepare their meals. Every meal prepared is done so with care and tastes delicious. There is no other place like it in town. The onion rings stay crispy, even when saved for later and reheated.

Great people and delicious burgers!! I’ve also had their brisket fries and they are so good as well! Can’t wait to make my way through the entire menu!

These has to be the best bugers by far since miss Fairs on east 5th. These are juicy and tender . I have ate there twice now the first burger was a large burger the one I got Friday wasn't as big but it was still by far a dang good burger.

I’m not a Corsicana resident, but I work here and often try the local restaurants when I have the chance. I have to say hands down this cafe has the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. If you’re ever wanting a real burger this is most definitely the place to go. I will definitely be going back.

Took a chance and found a gem We were coming into Corsicana and needing a bite to eat for lunch, I typed food into Google maps, and tastytown was the first thing pulled up. It was a 10 minute drive out of the way, but the pictures looked good, so we decided to take a chance, and boy, are we glad we did!!! We each got brisket fries (because they'd be easy to eat on the road, and they're a favorite of ours) and a Big Ole Onion Ring basket! The brisket fries were top-tier! Easily number 2 on our top five Brisket Fires of Texas list!!! The caramelized onions and jalapeños added the perfect touch! The onion rings did not disappoint either!!! Big thick onions that were crispy all the way around, with every bite! And don't get me started on the delicious Jalapeño ranch that came with them!!! I cannot reccomend enough! If you're in the area or passing through check them out, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait until we get to come back agin!

A small Mom and Pop like place new to the area. After several visits to be sure I can say with no doubt, this is the best place in this part of Texas to get the best Burger!!! After seeing the great reviews, we were excited to give this place a try - OMG y’all, this is a seriously fantastic burger! We both got the cheeseburger and split the onion rings. The meat is mouthwateringly delicious, with the right amount of seasoning and just the perfect amount of moistness without being greasy. Over the years, we’ve tried many “best of” burgers in DFW and I’d have to say this one beats them. We will definitely make this a regular stop. The onion rings were also very good and there are several other tempting items on the menu … but it will be hard to pass up the burger! Love the breakfast Tastito with queso and salsa, brisket fries are amazing, Onion rings are large and crispy, Fries are crispy cooked just right, Burgers are always on point - love the grilled buns. Just tried the BLT and it’s the best I’ve ever had!

My favorites are the hamburger and the mushroom-Swiss burger. The beef patties are juicy and flavorful. You can't go wrong. Their breakfast menu is great also. A Tastito or a tot bowl with queso really hits the spot. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. You'll thank yourself for stopping in.

The burgers—easily the best in town—are crafted with a culinary maximalist flair, their flavor a testament to the quality of the Plemons family’s locally raised beef. Each bite was rich, succulent, and deeply satisfying. The Ranch Popper burger, in particular, is a triumph--spicy, savory, indulgent. After finishing that and a basket of crispy onion rings, I was definitely overfull but still powerless to resist the churros—filled with vanilla pastry cream, they were an exquisite end to the experience. Tastytown Cafe has all the makings of an enduring favorite, a place to return to not merely for sustenance but for something closer to food coma joy. If you haven’t yet been, I recommend you remedy that oversight promptly.

It's one of my favorite places to eat, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Have a great and reasonably priced breakfast menu, and their lunch/dinner is always great, with some new ideas always being tossed around. The brisket fries are great, and the jalapeño popper burger is one of my favorites on the menu.

The absolute BEST customer service I have experienced in Corsicana! I accidentally ordered twice on door dash and one of the men from TastyTown personally called me to ask me if that’s what I needed. When I received my order I was missing an item and Tasty Town personally brought it to me!! I am so so grateful for their service and generosity !

With a name like Tastytown we had to stop here. The quarter pound burger was great. The fries, tots and onion rings were wonderful. My grand daughter loved the chicken nuggets. Is she loved it, it has to be good.

The whole family highly approved of everything we ordered, and my boys act like picky little burger snobs. Friendly folks, great food and you have to love local sourcing. Chatted with the owner while the food was prepared, great guy, and my 8 y/o explained how processed bread with all those preservatives probably isn't great for you.

This place was excellent, the meat was fresh from the farm. We tried the fries, tots, and onion rings, all were crunchy deelish without being greasy at all. Probably the best onion rings I have ever eaten. I had to buy a t-shirt for my husband...cause Tastytown is just too cool of a name. Amazing little hidden gem! My family & I had to come from Tyler into town. We chose this spot from a few others to eat dinner at. The service was great. Upon getting to the counter, the cashier let us know how long the wait was which was nice. The food was great. Fresh patties, my wife loved her BLT, the onion rings & fries were crispy and cook perfectly One of my favorite things was listening to the amount of “regulars” that came in. Being called by first name, talking about their days and what was going on. You know a place is good when it had a steady stream of regulars Lastly, the owner is awesome. Tons of energy, checked on our food and the other customer sitting in a booth, constantly talking to everyone It is definitely somewhere I will go back to when in town

Do you want an old fashioned smashed burger? Get it here! Although they were smashed, they were still a good size. We both had the mushroom Swiss and it was totally delicious! The onion rings were large and the breading was very good and fried to a perfect crisp. Set up more for take out than eat in but have 2 interior booths and a couple picnic tables outside. Try it!

I suffer from a raw onion allergy making it very difficult to order food without a reaction. We ordered burgers mentioned my allergy. Staff went above and beyond to ensure I was able to eat with no reaction. They succeeded and the burger was just as amazing as the staff!!! Check Facebook for specials if the price is too high for you. In my opinion is worth it. You only pay a few dollars less at whataburger and at tasty town your getting food you can trust.

We like trying new places, and sometimes it's hit or miss, I felt like this time was a hit! I had their 1/4 hamburger and loved it. The meat was delicious! It wasn't stringy or chewy. My husband had the fish, and he said it was good. I tried a piece and liked it. The service was good, a bit slow, but they had a lot going on that morning with a ribbon cutting with the local chamber, but they were very friendly. I would definitely go again.

Was looking for a good burger and ran across this place on Google me and a friend of mine want to try it out amazing burger and my friend got the mushrooms with burger and she said it was amazing. They have this Sauce I don’t know whether they called it, but I couldn’t stop eating it. I was dipping my tater tots in it. The employees were amazing also very friendly atmosphere. Can’t wait to try it again.

My husband and I shared a brisket smoked baked potato today for lunch. It weighed about 2 1/2 pounds and was loaded with butter, cheese, chives, and sour cream and was smothered in tender chopped brisket. We were able to eat only about half of it, but it was incredibly good. We will save every morsel for later! Tastytown Cafe made the very best baked potato we have ever eaten.

Catfish Friday’s never disappoint, but this time they knocked it out of the park! The fish was perfectly fried, fries were nice and salty, and the flavor of the beans were insane. Staff was kind and helpful. Restaurant is clean. Wait time was short. Highly recommend!!!

Today wasn't the first time having Tasty Town but it was the first time having it today! This Place does not disappoint! While their burgers are amazing I have to say the Jumbo Dog is the best Hotdog I've ever had. (I don't even care for a hot dog) Make sure you add all the extras to it!!!! But let's not forget those Tasty Town Chicken Fingers!!!! That is another must try!!! Grab you a sweet tea or a nice cold root beer float while your at it!!!! Thanks a million Tasty Town for serving the community Top Notch Food!!!

Really is tasty. You are able to buy frozen meats at this location as well. Fries are nice and crisp and the burger is moist. Only detractor from this location is no bathroom yet, but they said they are working to build one out. There is some dining space inside as well as outside on an umbrella shaded picnic tables. They also have some really cool retro shirts you can buy.

Delicious! Grass-fed burgers here are the best. They absolutely LOAD UP their burgers with all the best toppings! I heard their onion rings are really good too. Fries were excellent, but could've been a little more crispy. Also would like it if they had mayonnaise packets. Overall, amazing find here! Burger was so flavorful and cheesy. People don't know what they're missing out on on this hidden gem of a restaurant! Was like $10 for a normal burger, $12 for premium burgers, and $3 for fries (not included with burger). Totally worth the price.

Beyond nice owner! Wife has talked about Navarro Mills Mall and Corndog 7 cheese on a stick since I met her. There are none of those around any longer, but the owner of this business has the hookup with the OG batter! Took wife for Bday. Got 2 drinks, 2 cheese on a stick, and 2 footlong cornydogs for $25. The place is perfect and if there’s one thing I respect it’s a restaurateur that knows their strong points and doesn’t accept anything less than the best for their clients and customers. This place has that, for sure!!! It seems like they won every single award 🥇 possible in the local newspapers ‘Best Of’ competition for 2024 and they’ve only been at this location for a year!

This place is a vibe and they know it! Right off I-45 they’ve got just the mom and pop homemade style you’d want from a place like this. Very little indoor seating but a lot of people were getting carry out. I got the Jalapeño burger and it was sooo good! The Forrest Gump and Dumb and Dumber references on the wall totally make you feel in good company with the owner. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he’s a great older gentleman with a passion for making good food. The tots weren’t anything to write home about but they were what I expected. The Burger is why you go because it is exceptional. If I lived in the area I’d be by more often. Keep up the great work!

My Mom & I love many things from Tasty Town but we really love the Mushroom Swiss Burger. We add an order of FF which complements the burger so well. We sometimes split burger & fries (yes there is enough for 2) & sometimes each get a burger & fries (she loves each one & sometimes eats all the fries before i get my share, lol) this just depending on how hungry I am & if i don't want to share, lol. Tasty Town is one of the few places left that we can get a burger & fries that tastes like Grandma just made in kitchen. We can't get food like from Tasty Town from any "chain" restaurants... I haven't been through Corsicana in a couple months and I am missing TastyTown. I NEED my popper burger and brisket fries. They even sell Meat Church spices and fresh beef so that you can get supplies for the house while you treat yourself! Great service, drool-worthy menu.

This place is a vibe and they know it! Right off I-45 they’ve got just the mom and pop homemade style you’d want from a place like this. Very little indoor seating but a lot of people were getting carry out. I got the Jalapeño burger and it was sooo good! The Forrest Gump and Dumb and Dumber references on the wall totally make you feel in good company with the owner. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he’s a great older gentleman with a passion for making good food. The tots weren’t anything to write home about but they were what I expected. The Burger is why you go because it is exceptional. If I lived in the area I’d be by more often. Keep up the great work!

My Mom & I love many things from Tasty Town but we really love the Mushroom Swiss Burger. We add an order of FF which complements the burger so well. We sometimes split burger & fries (yes there is enough for 2) & sometimes each get a burger & fries (she loves each one & sometimes eats all the fries before i get my share, lol) this just depending on how hungry I am & if i don't want to share, lol. Tasty Town is one of the few places left that we can get a burger & fries that tastes like Grandma just made in kitchen. We can't get food like from Tasty Town from any "chain" restaurants... Love love love Tasty Town food. ...just sayin

From the moment you walk in you can smell the flavor and juicy meat cooking. Everyone was so nice and we were fortunate to meet the owner today ! Great burgers and onion rings! The BOOB is the way to go Especially with the side of Jalapeño ranch. Good hospitality and highly recommend coming here .

If your driving through Corsicana or already live here this is a must stop. The 1/4 cheeseburger had a bit to much pepper for me but that burger was well seasoned. The tater tots were delicious!

Food was amazing. Might be the best burgers in town…the restaurant was small and could only sit about 10-15 people but the service was good, food was good. We will definitely go back.

I've only gone here once I ordered fish fries & hush puppies. Fish and fries were good, but the hush puppies were hard as rocks. I'll come back and try the burgers, I hear they're good.

My 1st time, great food, very personable atmosphere and reasonably priced. Very limited inside dining available. My next visit I want to try the burger, I've heard the corny dogs have a special batter and are truly awesome...we'll see. Worth the trip...

My husband and I ordered the fish special. I have no idea what the price was, it was not posted anywhere and the cashier did not tell me. The fish was good. They are small pieces not filets. French fries, coleslaw, hushpuppys were good. Only 2 booths and some high tables to sit at. Overall it was good, I will try something else next time.

The burgers have a unique meaty taste and perfectly sized 1/4 lb with cheese of course. Looks small but it is not, just right juicy and thick. Knows how to fry french fries crispy and not burn them or overcook them. Amazing burger stop and worth going out of the way.

Good basic little place. Had the catfish. It was very good but not the top 5 best we've had, thus the 4 stars. Service is "order at the counter" thus the 4 stars. Would definitely go back, specifically to try the burgers. Home grown beef.

I got the ranch popper and man was it good. My husband and I have been craving a good burger and haven't found a place. This was worth the 20 min drive. The fries are the right crispy to soft ratio. My only complaint is I asked for medium and it was well done. But still tasty. The curros are only okay.

I’ve had the food truck and the restaurant. Quality and flavor out of the truck are better. The store lacks flavor and is pretty stingy on their fry portions. Especially for the price you are paying. Employees are always friendly and provide good customer service.

Meh… this place came highly recommended and did not live up to the expectation I had. My first impression when I walked it was the overwhelming greasy smell, I probably should’ve turned around and left right then. Ordered the ranch popper, which is apparently their most famous burger and the person at the register said oh it’s not that spicy, it was pretty spicy. Tasted like a greasy burger, but amidst all the other ingredients on the burger I had a hard time tasting the meat!!! She asked me if I wanted jalapeño ranch and regular ranch with my tater tots and I was like sure and then I got my bill and they charged me $1.50 for those things that’s a rip off. I asked to switch out the pepper jack cheese for cheddar cheese to tone down the spice level on my burger and they charge me a dollar that’s a rip off, would you have charged me $1 less if I asked for no cheese??? The whole thing cost me $21, not worth it at all!!! you’re going to charge extra for things like sauce for your tater tots or a piece of cheese that you substituted for the original cheese. You should probably let the customer know!!!

In the process of moving to Corsicana we needed something to eat. The reviews were excellent for Tastytown Cafe. We waited at least 20 minutes to receive burned hockey puck “burgers”. The young lady at the register was nice, but the cook seemed quite annoyed at having to make an order. Two police officers who had come in about 10 minutes after us received their order while I continued to wait.

Don't know about the food since I decided to go elsewhere. I would guess its very good, but even the best available burgers and fries will not interest me in patronizing this buisiness. Not going back again, even though the place is clean and tidy. I'm not paying nearly $20 for a meal to be cramped in a small building!! THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS, and on cold winter days, it's too cold inside!! Never mind eating outside at the picnic tables. That's not my thing.

Revise review March 27, 2025. Try to order a half pound burger at Tasty Town today in Corsicana Texas. They said they discontinued the half on burger but they still had a burger for $9.99 which is the old price for the half pound they discontinued. So I asked them if no half pound burger are you gonna supply a quarter pound burger for $9.99 and he said yes! I said you know that’s a 33% increase! I told the guy trying to take my order that at $6.99 for the quarter pound burger they used to be the highest price fast food burger in Town but no side to go with it! And now they’re gonna charge $9.99 for a quarter pound burger with no side to go with it! I told them I am not gonna order anything and it’s that price. I’m not coming back at all. I wished them a good day and drove off and went to Jack-in-the-Box!

No season, chicken strips are overly cooked, also bun was full of grease after asking them to toast it. They use to be good but have lost there touch or maybe hired new people that don’t have a clue on what there doing.

When we approached the truck at 6:08PM and politely asked if they were open, the owner raised his voice and said he was leaving because he “hadn’t had a single customer since he got here at 5” and was “$300 down on labor.” I tried to show him the flyer showing the correct event time (6–8 PM), but he refused and drove off, leaving families with only food options for the event, mexican tacos, which many children won't eat. Later, he acknowledged on Facebook that he had the times wrong, but deleted the post after I commented and told him he still chose to turn away a big customer base that was just getting in the door instead of genuinely addressing the situation felt extremely unprofessional. I understand that mistakes happen and slow sales can be frustrating around holiday time, but as a business owner, professionalism and attitude toward customers matter, especially when hundreds of families are involved. I truly hope this experience helps them improve communication and customer service moving forward.
