We stoped by Coconut during our bike ride around the island. Great service, we only got drinks and they were tasty. Lots of chickens and cool birds in the restaurant and it had an overlook of the beach/ocean.

Iconic East side of island joint. No inside, no AC but lots of shade. Friendly service. Good English. Note there are no taxis waiting so have a driver or they will call a cab for you but it will cost more for them coming out of the way. Still much cheaper than paying for a tour or driver to wait. Shrimp or chicken quesadillas are solid in that the flavor was balanced. They are basically just tacos thoughbwith melted cheese. Prices were normal to high but think about how remote this is. Cadillac margaritas are very strong and we keep making the mistake of drinking too many every time we come here.

This was our last stop on the other side of the island drive. Amazing views with super cool laid back vibe. We got snacks(onion rings,fries and tacos) all very good. There are two very entertaining parrots Tequila and Chimichanga. They also have other birds and roosters roaming around. Definitely worth the climb up the stairs. $4 beers and all the food very reasonable.

What an awesome place! Lots of character & things to look at, including the view, animals ( well taken care of ) & foliage. Nice bar serving under palm fawns or patio seating with umbrellas. Steps take you up to the restaurant & then it’s like an adventurous maze of plants & trees to lookout points or the bathroom. Good & drinks are good & do recommend

This is a really great little restaurant. Placed high on a cliff overlooking the sea, this is a beautiful place to eat. We ordered some esquedillas and tacos with beers, all tasting really nice. Prices are a bit high but considering this is one of the few places on the east coast with decent food, its all right. Service is fine and you can also meet Tequila, the local parrot 🦜 I recommend this restaurant for the view and for the atmosphere.

A wonderful find out on the east side of the island. Part bar part nature sanctuary it’s a great place to have a beer while looking out over the ocean. If sexual innuendos upset you though you may want to find somewhere else to hang out. The service was great and the beer was nice and cold. Worth the drive to the other side of the island especially if you are sick of the noise in the “big” city.

Must go here if you have the time. The views are amazing. Very comfortable and shady under the palapa surrounded by tropical vegetation. There is no electricity on this side of Cozumel, so everything is overpriced, but worth it considering the atmosphere and lengths they go to just prepare food in this primitive location. My husband had a hamburger and fries that were unexpectedly delicious, and my fish tacos were good, not great. Warning....the blue Margarita is very strong and you will get very drunk.

Absolutely loved our visit to Coconuts!! Views are spectacular and food was delish. shrimp ceviche was da bomb. Birds were an awesome surprise too!! Signs were hilarious.

Sin duda alguna es un lugar único en Cozumel que si vienen a visitar tienes que ir si o si! Tiene una vista increíble y es una zona muy tranquila donde si tú plan es desconectarte tantito de las redes es el lugar perfecto, pero existen ciertos puntos donde si cuentan con señal. En la comida sus platillos son muy pequeños pea el precio pero la verdad es que está muy delicioso (hablando del ceviche de caracol). En las bebidas sí que le ponen ganas jajaja muy buenas, buena medida y cargadas si así lo deseas. En precio lo veo un poco elevado pero ya estando ahí vale la pena jaja. El personal muy amable y pendiente siempre!

Un lugar que tienes que conocer, tiene una vista fabulosa, los drinks son super ricos, los ceviches están muy bien servidos, tienes que ir en el día, porque no tiene luz el lugar, pero vale mil la pena, desgraciadamente solo se puede pagar en efectivo.

El único lugar elevado en el otro lado de la isla, el mirador es asombroso y se disfruta de sobremanera la vista al mar, la atención es excelente y el ambiente divertido, los precios son un poco elevados pero por la vista vale cada peso que se gasta, si no conoces debes visitar coconuts por simple cultura general.

Es muy buen lugar, la vista es increíble, lo meseros son amables pero le ponen mas atención a los extranjeros (por propinas en dólares), es bastabte caro y no hubo nada de lo que vi por Internet, pensé que habría mayor ambiente de fiesta o lo que comentaban del nombre coconuts, pero no... No hay pago con tarjeta porque está alejado así que por eso no consumimos mucho. En resumen es muy bonito lugar, pero caro y sin tanto ambiente.

One of the best spots in Cozumel to enjoy a few drinks and some authentic Mexican cuisine. Situated on a cliff above the ocean and out of the rat race in the city. About a 30 minute drive from the port but well worth the drive. You can pub crawl with a few others in the area that are a short drive away. Service and drinks always excellent and love the chips and salsa.

Stopped here as first timers on a trip around the island. The food and drinks were good, but the view is unbelievable. It’s pricier than expected, but I think you’re also paying for the atmosphere. We figured out after the fact that they charged us higher than the actual exchange rate - so lesson for us - know the current exchange rate before you go. We had chicken nachos which were good, and a rum punch which was really good! Will we go back? Probably so - but we will know pricing conversions better this time! It’s all part of the travel experience - you learn as you go! Be aware: this is not a stop for those with mobility issues!! The only way up, is uneven stone carved steps! Worth the climb? Yes. But probably not for those with bad knees, etc.

Difícil de definir, o genial o impresionante. Después de circular por la carretera un buen rato, disfrutando del paisaje, llegas a un lugar que a priori no destaca por nada (paradas para comprar souvenirs), pero después de subir por un caminito ya agradable, la visión es curiosa y agradable del local (por definirlo de alguna manera), pero cuando salen al exterior de la vegetación y cubierta de palma, la vista es, uffff, mejor no les digo, vayan y comprueben y luego disfruten. Simplemente hay que ir obligatoriamente y encima el servicio es acogedor y te ries con ellos, pidan al camarero que les haga una foto. Genial.

Restaurante 100% orientado al ("guiri"), turista. Si estás en la zona, a penas hay opciones para comer por lo que puede ser tu lugar.. si no lo estás, no te pierdes nada si no vas. Lo bueno: bonitas vistas. Mejorable: mejorar calidad comida; evitar patatas congeladas, arroz hecho reciente no tan pasado ... Tener alguna salsa mexicana casera ( que las hay buesimas) y no solo mayonesa/kepchup y mostaza, etc.

Over-hyped. For all of the recommendations we were given and saw, it was kind of a let down for us. If you’ve been to a restaurant on the beach, you’ve probably seen one like this. The view is incredible, but there are only a few tables that can actually see the view. Those tables also have a nice breeze. The others do not. No frozen drinks to help cool you off. The guacamole was good, but the tacos were laughable. We also felt it was extremely overpriced. We had guacamole, three orders of the shrimp tacos you see pictured, a shrimp quesadilla, and 2 beers, and it was $95 before tip. The tacos and quesadilla did come with a tablespoon of rice hiding under the shells on the plate in the picture.

This is simply a tourist trap. Cute (cheap, offensive) gimmicks and it’s on the ocean, which is nice, but cannot make up for the lack of substance. It is overpriced, particularly when you consider the food is the worst I’ve had on Cozumel. We had tacos and while they were “fine” they were twice the price you could expect to pay at any of the other much better taquerias on the island - and meagre. This place is designed for the uninformed cruise ship crowd who don’t have the time to explore the other much better options on the island. But if you are one of those people - just spend 5 minutes Googling and go anywhere else

La vista es increíble, la comida está muy rica y es de los lugares que me gusta llevar gente que viene de visita, pues yo vivo aquí. Sin embargo, esta vez que regresé con amigos que venían de visita a la isla (no sé sí esto lo hagan con los turistas y sea atractivo, pero me pareció de muy mal gusto) el mesero se acerco y nos entregó un album con una colección de fotos con mujeres desnudas. Mi amiga se asustó, y el mesero le preguntó sí ella deseaba ser parte del album, el novio de mi amiga se ofendió de sobremanera y nosotras también!! Con la pena tuve que disculpar el lugar y su manera de "divertir" a los turistas. Yo terminé sorprendida pues nunca me había pasado y quizá no regrese más. Me parece que lo ideal sería que adviertan ó quizá preparen a los turistas antes de visitar este restaurante.

Gorgeous view. We only got two beers so I can’t comment on the food. What I can comment on is being approached by the waiter with a book of topless women. I was offered a shot of tequila for a topless picture. Then I was offered a bottle of tequila for a topless picture. I declined both times. It gave me the ick. I was glad to get out of there.
