We eat breakfast here every weekend! The food is very good, the service is excellent. Amber (owner) is gracious and caring, Paige is wonderful, Roxy is amazing, Emma is great! Love this place.
Paige at Crestline Café is amazing! She’s always cheerful, friendly, and incredibly professional. She makes every visit feel welcoming and takes great care of her customers without missing a beat. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Crestline Café is very lucky to have her!
We love crestline cafe! Always has delicious food. Paige is always so wonderful with my son and always knows his order ( the spiderman pizza).
We always plan a trip to the Cafe when family comes to town. The atmosphere is comfy and friendly, although parking can be a bit of a hassle but in Crestline that's common. The food is always delicious. The only things I would recommend to the owner is don't use whipped potatoes, they taste like boxed potatoes., and the corn is like the cheap canned corn. I always get the chicken fried steak and a baker. It's always delicious. Giving 4 stars for the food but that's because I love fresh corn and real mashed potatoes. The sandwiches we've had were very good as well.

Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn’t sure what I would think of it, but as I looked around and enjoyed my food, I realized how much there was to appreciate about the place. One thing that really stood out was how many teenagers I saw there. They were hanging out, talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves in a way that made the café feel even more alive. It was clear that they felt comfortable being there, like it was a natural spot for them to relax and spend time with friends. Seeing that made me realize how much teenagers would love being at this location, especially because it gives them a place that feels welcoming, friendly, and easy to enjoy without any pressure. As I spent more time inside, I noticed how the layout and atmosphere made it simple to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. You can sit, eat, look around, and take in the environment at your own pace. That kind of comfort is something I really appreciate, especially when visiting a place for the first time. I never doubted that my time there was going to turn out the way I hoped it would, and that sense of ease made the visit even better. I have only visited Crestline Café once before writing this review, but that one visit was enough for me to understand why people speak so positively about it. It is one of the most enjoyable and comfortable cafés I have been to in a long time, and I would highly recommend that teenagers go there. It gives them a place where they can enjoy good food, spend time with friends, and feel like they are part of a lively and welcoming environment. If you are looking for a spot in Crestline that feels warm, inviting, and full of good energy, Crestline Café is definitely worth checking out.
There is a woman there named Paige and she is incredible. I feel like her positive attitude, attentiveness, and just overall vibe really brings something special. Its hard to come by these days when your server, or just an employee in general, is able to set a positive tone for your experience and Paige really does. What an asset!
This is the best place anywhere on the mountain, which includes Crestline Lake arrowhead and even running Springs. A great breakfast plenty of food. Don’t ask what’s the best thing on the menu because everything is great. I love this place..
Always a pleasure to frequent a local eatery with kind staff and great cafe food! One of my favorite spots for sure. Paige is always so friendly and happy, Gabriel as well. Everyone is, but I always seem to go in when they are working. Really love the entire staff! Under great ownership! Best burger in town!
This is a quaint, cozy casual dining place, which was nicely decorated for Christmas and offers excellent food. I ordered the sirloin steak which was well seasoned and perfectly cooked to medium rare. The “over sized” potato was gigantic, the broccoli cooked perfectly! The broccoli cheese soup was excellent, cheesy and even had small pieces of broccoli . The service was great and the prices surprisingly reasonable. I would definitely return.
Came in for dinner we usually get the same thing when we come but prime rib was recommended and really good everyones portions seemed equally big! Paige was our server she checked on us many times, even had us picking dessert. We aren't here very often but everyone she talked to you would think they were family. Even if the food was terrible we would still come for the friendly atmosphere. Crestline Cafe for the win, customer service and amazing food. See you all next time
Service was great, very friendly. I had a good burger, sister had the english fish and chips, friends had soup and stuffed bake potato, the beyond burger and another had the same burger as me. Everyone enjoyed the food.
My sister and I went for lunch. She had the soup of the day/Chicken Tortilla and I had a cup of the French Onion, they were both very good and tasted house made. She had the grilled chicken salad and I had the mountain high sandwich with fries because we knew we would be taking leftovers home. The sandwiches are huge and the fries are really good. Everything was fresh and the service was outstanding. I forgot to take pictures because I was really hungry.
First I want to say 5 stars! I had Paige as my server who recommended my order choice. She was funny handling the rush apologizing for the rush which I really didn’t notice until she said something; she was very attentive if not everyone was. Cozy spot right in the middle of town like they’re going to makeover the region with everything they have to offer… but the food! The hamsteak alone would make me want to emigrate with a bus ticket; I ate the eggs Benedict which was phenomenal and included it. Idk if they knew I heard them discussing how I told her it was the best I’d ever had but I did - I assume not while I was lost in it. I think it could bring peace to the Middle East and unite the holy land once and for all. I always overdo it with reviews but I only go to places who deserve good reviews. Locals love it too because I got to chat with the previous owner and the new owner. Try it for yourself. I’ve been once and will go back. I don’t even know what else to say except thank you
The best family restaurant on the mountain. The food is ALWAYS great. The prices are very reasonable , the servers and staff are ALWAYS nice and attentive. It’s clean with a cheerful atmosphere. Everyone is so thankful to have such a nice place in our town!!!!
Crestline Cafe is definitely a hidden gem in the mountains! The food was absolutely delicious; but make sure you come hungry because the portions are huge. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. If I had to offer a little constructive feedback, I’d say the decor could use some updating to match the great food and warm service, and the coffee could be a bit richer in flavor. Other than that, everything else was spot on! A great place to stop for a hearty, satisfying meal.

Wow, this place is great!! Amazing and attentive staff, so much so one of our waitresses noticed something wrong with our food before we did!!! Food is fresh and portions are big!! Sooooo many yummy options it was really hard to choose what to get. We will definitely be back!!!
A lovely diner in Crestline. It was definitely a locals place as the waitress knew the customers and the customers knew each other. I was given a nice warm welcome. I had the chicken pasta which was lovely if a bit heavy on the pepper.
Sandwich was good and so was the coleslaw. We were lucky. When we arrived, a car was just backing out so we found parking right away. The food was very good!
The service was above and beyond excellent. The wait staff was extremely attentive and filled drinks often and quickly. The food was very good. We liked that you could get breakfast or lunch at 10:00am. Half of us had lunch and the other half lunch. The cheeseburgers and fries were great. The eggs benedict and omelette were also delicious. We left very, very full and happy. We will definitely be back soon.

We stopped by here after driving up from Los Angeles. The service was great 👍 right off the bat. The food was good for what it was. I ordered the patty melt and the rest of the table ordered burgers. This is definitely a great quick stop for food.
Basic American diner. I enjoyed the country fried steak, my husband got the liver and onions, and loved it. We got an apple dessert to share which was warm and fresh. Over all a good spot to stop for a meal pn the way to the lake.

Young server really "appears to not like her job". She doesn't remember requests well and doesn't seem to care. Full stack blueberry pancakes were great, Over medium eggs, Sausage and hash browns were awesome. Eggs Benedict looked great but eggs were undercooked and whites clear & runny. Requested eggs over medium. They did remake them. They were very good then. Amber, was training another server but came over to check on us. She made everything good. We stated all was good now. On my previous trips to this place I had great food. I was looking forward with anticipation for a good stake an eggs. To my surprise when the food was served the stake had a very strong foul smell. I was thinking that maybe this was a new recipe or something. I took a very small bite and it tasted horrible. I ate the rest of the food ( I was very hungryand did not waned to wait), and when the waitress came to check on me, she asked if there was something wrong with the stake. She was asked if a wanted it replaced to which I answered no. She took the plate, to the kitchen, and said something to the cook( i did not hear what was said). Then I heard her saying "Julio, if it was bad why did you serve it." I don't know if thos is a standard practice or what. It seems that this is not the first time this happens. Any how, the stake was removed from my bill and the waitress apologized. Great service, not so great food.
