This was the best Popeyes I have been to in a while. Through drive thru..it was fast & the food was hot! Chicken was juicy & crispy. We had a long trip on the highway ahead of us, it hit the spot & filled us up!

We love Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and the spicy chicken. Add some jalapeño and it’s something else. This location is always friendly and fast service. We always get our chicken to go and the order has always been as we ordered. I can’t say anything bad about my experience with Popeyes and this location.

My husband loves this place. hardly a week goes by that I don't get a phone call to please stop on my way home from work and to pick him up a spicy chicken sandwich. The employees are always pleasant and the food is always delicious.

It's a little hot inside so wouldn't recommend eating inside. But food is good and the strawberry biscuit is to die for! Love their spicy fried chicken. Red beans and rice is amazing This is the only fried chicken place I like to go to.

Went there for my sweet and spicy wings. I went through the drive thru and ordered.. had to wait 7-8 minutes for hot, fresh wings (which I didn't mind). But once I received my order, it was incorrect. The manager on that night apologized and immediately corrected the order. He exhibited excellent service! The young man who took my order apologized for getting my order wrong... very mannerable! This location is close to my work.. so I will definitely be returning for future visits.

Great service, been going to this location for years and they've only mussed up a food order ONCE, they also gave me an extra chicken sandwich and 2 free drinks for needing to come back. Also, never had a subpar chicken sandwich from here
Whenever I came in they greeted me with so much respect made me feel good thanks to Raad and Bryan & Jacob, they recommended me the 3 piece tenders and a strawberry cream cheese pie and it was amazing, definitely will be coming back soon.
I’ve been a customer at this location for at least 8 years. And I have to say, they don’t ever let me down. The service is great! The food is always hot, and fresh. I ordered food to go on 2/6/26. Everything was prepared fresh, and delicious. The people who work the drive thru are always busy, but yet they’re still polite! Great job everyone.

Around 10:40 AM today, the store lights were just turned on and one staff member was already working alone and serving customers. She kindly helped me, just as she did yesterday when the store closed early due to weather. My daughter has autism and has relied on Popeyes as her safe food for over four years. This employee showed patience, consistency, and genuine kindness toward her, which means more than words can say. Thank you to the wonderful staff member at Popeyes for going above and beyond. Compassion like this truly matters.
Near chicken is delicious and fries, but also good courtesy
As a functioning fried chicken addict my sponsor has informed me that part of the 11 step program is not to glorifiy the wonderful fried chicken available by my enablers at popeyes, not to tell how crisoy and delicious the sandwich really is, not to mention the mouth watering side dishes like mac and cheese, or the seasoned fries, and their signature buttermilk biscuits. Im am suposed to remain strong in my convictions and not spread the word that their new ordering kiosk helps you get past the shame of orderer way too much fried chicken than any one guy should at lunch. They never even see your face or give you that judgemental stare when you get a 16 piece family meal dine in at noon on wednesday by yourself.
I haven't been here in years. I can't believe that the food and quality is still superb! The chicken sandwich was crispy and buttery bread, crispy hot fries without having to ask. The drinks are overly sweet but that's why you come here. Unbeatable customer service!!! Love this location!!!
Best customer service. I came in rushing on my lunch break to get a quick bite to eat. I seen that it was pretty busy. And all the cashiers were taking orders due to it being lunch rush hour but never the less Ms Gabriela stopped what she was doing to help out her employees and tool muborder and got me out in 5 minutes. Thank you so much Gabriel these little things go along way !

Went here not too long ago. I don't know if I caught them at a good time or not but I was in there for about 3 minutes total from ordering my tenders meal to getting it and being back in my truck. The food itself was decent. Not the best but far from the worst. The service I got was very good. Will definitely be returning.
I have checked Google which fried chicken is No one among KFC, chick-fil-A, church's chicken and popeyes. The answer is that Popeyes is No one. So I bought five chicken tenders and six chicken wings. I recognized that the answer is right because popeyes is really delicious. It with become my favorite foods.
The customer service is great, the food is amazing. They just keep giving you extra free biscuits. And they are super salty. Plus, the food is kinda pricey. But overall, it's a great place. 8/10
Staff is always nice, but you def should check your bag before you pull off. Almost every time there is a mistake. Ie You ask for fries, you get mashed. This seems to be a recurring issue with any one I go to in Houston. Fast enough and tasty, though.
Love that chicken what can I say the chicken was well prepared and constant to popeye's standard. The restaurant was clean and well maintained and the customer service was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions about the menu items and specials. There was plenty of parking and seating. I would recommend this location for your fried chicken fix
I can in to get a quick order but I ended up staying longer than expected but I got fresh cooked food!
Food is good but the music in the dining room is always too loud and annoying club music. Cant even hold a conversation with the people I am eating with.
Fast service, food tasted great BUT the lids on the sides as well as the 1/2 gallon lemonade bags were not properly closed and spilled in the car. Pay attention to detail, people! The little things spoil or make the experience.
I’ve been somewhat disappointed with the quality of food. I had Popeyes for the first time in my 35 years about three months ago, when we moved to the area. I found it great! However, ever since then, their quality has been poorer each visit, and been disappointing. The only thing I could rave about are their biscuits and their fresh lemonades (which unfortunately they don’t do anymore). I’ve since stopped visiting this chain.
Food is great but almost none of the staff speak english, counter help and management, and orders are frequently incomplete. I have to check every single piece before I can leave. Frequently run out of several side dishes before 6pm with no further to prepare even if you are willing to wait. Sauces are commonly unavailable. Clean with tasty food though when its actually available.
It has been awhile since I have been to Popeyes and if seems to me that they have spiced the menu up a bit since the last time I was there. Had the combo popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders with the new Mac and cheese for a side. Shrimp and tenders were ok but I did not really like the taste of the side.
I never get my dipping sauce when I order but the food is great
We have had mixed experience here. The inside is very nice looking. Most visits the staff have been great and on top of things. We have gone in with smoke traveling through the whole place. Last time we bought the awesome two can eat for 9.99 everything was great except one of the chicken breast was seriously twice as small as the other one we got and was very dry!!!!! Overall we love the Tuesday 2 piece $1.50 deal The Mac and cheese is very good!!!! Could upgrade to 5 star if we don't get dry small chicken on our next visit.
Our 16 piece chicken meal was overcooked and overheated it was hard and dry like chicken shoe leather or some kind of chicken jerky. When I called the store to complain they told me well nobody else has complained you're the only one. Then when I asked him and told him I would bring the chicken back to them they said they would only replace eat each piece that I still have that we didn't throw away. The management didn't really seem concerned or care about the customer experience whatsoever.
Come on Popeye’s! How about getting it together across all locations? For a couple years, as soon as I found out they offer it, I’d get a military discount of 15% off the total order. I went to other Popeyes (Tx. and La.), presented my retired military ID and was either told that Popeyes doesn’t offer any discounts - military or senior discounts - or I’d get a 10% or 15% discount off the total bill. So I would always ask at any of the Popeye’s. So, back to the now; a few weeks ago I went to my local Popeye’s that have been providing me a 15% discount for a few years and got a 10% instead of 15% discount. No problem. Next visit about a week or two later I received a discount of 10% on one item. The least expensive item at that! Couple of weeks later, received a 10% discount on the total cost. Sent email to Popeye’s asking what is their policy? Do they have one? To date I’ve heard nothing in response. Tonight? Was told that Popeye’s offers no discounts. Seems like management needs to unify and communicate, they are putting their employees in a difficult position with the customers. When I asked who in management told them no discounts they said it was “Mr. Nate”. That is all they knew about this area manager/supervisor. No way for me to call and talk to him. I don’t demand a discount just because I gave over a quarter of a century in years for my fellow Americans. But I appreciate consistency from businesses that I care to deal with. I’m loosing interest in Popeye’s. I wonder if they offer LEO discounts?
Too expensive, slow service, I'm from New Orleans , LA; this was a poor exhibition of product, service, attitude and a deterant to anyone to bring return business. Location and access is bad. Sorry, this is not a community or customer friendly business; the poorest example of Mr. Copeland's intent; I'm sure he is turning over in his grave !
Ordered 2- 5 piece mild chicken tenders, and eight biscuits, through the drive thru. When we arrived home, we discovered we had been given spicy tenders. Poor customer service. We shouldn't have to check our order before we leave.
Disappointed experience. First off the intercom at the drive-thru is horrible I could barely hear the person taking my order! I am guessing the person taking my order had a hard time hearing me because by the time I got home my whole order was wrong! I normally check my order before I pull off but I was in such a hurry I didn't.
I’ve been coming here for about 3 weeks now because i took a part time job in the area. Service is normally good Customer service as well but this is the second time there has been bugs in my drink the other day it was in the liquid today it’s stuck on the ice. I will not return! Plz clean your ice containers and drink machines regularly!
Good store. Pathetic clientele from car wash neighbor staff. This staff tries. Never real clean inside, but they are polite. But bring your earplugs. The low rent neighbor staff comes in stinking, dirty, yelling, and simply rude. Sometimes it's not worth trying to eat here.
I have eaten my last chicken sandwich from the Spring Cypress location. You cannot buy a lower grade of chicken breast filled with fillers and expect a loyal customer not to notice the difference. I don't care how much delicious crispy fried batter you put on it, if the chicken breast is chewy and stringy, it is not quality poultry. This restaurant is foul for serving this to guests and thinking we wouldn't notice the difference. I threw my sandwich away after 3 bites. Money wasted. I might let alot of things slide but when it comes to my fried chicken sandwich, I do not play.
The chicken was off a bit. It seems they mixed fresh chicken with very old chicken. The chicken breast was more than 45 minutes old and the other pieces were extremely hot to touch. Ask for fresh food because they will give you what they want. No one likes tough, cold white meat!
Love that they decided to upgrade their drive thru menu board hate the the brightness of it hurt my eyes and I could barely see what was on the board.. it was absolute torment at night time. Also it seems the stop cooking wings at a certain time because they didn’t have hardly any only 5 spicy wings left!! Sucks when you drove to a restaurant and they don’t have what they are selling on the menu..
I don’t know what has happened to Popeyes chicken…😔 but they’re chicken not that great anymore. I also use to love the Cajun rice and they stopped selling it here. I’m not sure if other Popeyes sell it. Update! Why does no one in this place speak English. They even say chicken pieces in Spanish. I'm Hispanic but I never heard the language they speak. Who hires these people? Not cool.😠😡😡 I spoke my Spanish and they acted like they didn't understand me. Don't here if you don't understand different dialects. It's either Venezuelan or Salvadorian. I don't know.
Been eating at spring cypress location regular for 16 years. I always had great food and service until the last couple of visits. They started using the Burger King scam of trying to up charge you to a medium or large without offering a small. It’s not much but the thing I hate most is dishonest business practice. I explain the first time I didn’t like it, on the second time I walked out and went to another nearby Popeyes. They have lost me after 16 years because they wanted to scam a few cents.
Came here today for a chicken sandwich and fries. They did not have fries so I only got the chicken sandwich and it was bad. The bun was soggy, the chicken also soggy which made it seemed like the microwaved it to reheat it. This was my first time ever going to a popeyes. I've heard they have pretty good chicken similar to raising canes and chic-fil-a but after today I don't think I will go back there again.
I generally have gotten the bone in chicken wings but have to have a mild breading. Since they got boneless wings, they quit doing my mild wings. So, sadly, this last visit I opted for the shrimp dinner. I am from New Orleans so I was looking forward to seafood. I ate the shrimp, which were slightly spicy, but then became violently ill, vomiting up all the dinner. I am a nurse, so that tells me it was the food that was perhaps spoiled or mishandled. I won't be eating at Popeye's again anytime soon.
Spent nearly 25 minutes in drive through purchased a family meal and 2 chicken special =$ 35.75 . Got home ...no wings ..1 chicken special missing . Its horrible at this location. They will give you your order and LIE right to your face about your order being correct. Never leave this location without checking your bags. Be prepared for a wait.👎☹
Customer service: BAD Walked in to order. Dining room was closed due to COVID, so I understand we couldn't eat there. We sat outside curbside in the shade and enjoyed the breeze. Sandwiches were not bad. Gentleman went in with a young child to use the restroom and they were not allowed. I asked for mayo to go, and the lady said they didn't have it so I asked for a little to be put in a small sauce container to go and she said she'd have to charge me $2.25 for the small bowl/container. Are you serious? I spent $18 and you can't give me a squirt of mayo? Let alone the fact that we walked in to an empty restaurant and there were 2 or 3 employees behind the counter milling around and not one paid attention to us, or acknowledged us, even for a second, to say "I'll be right with you!" When the cashier finally decided to help us, I didn't know if she was talking to us or through her headset. She never looked at us. Furthermore, she seemed bothered by our presence. Like I said, customer service, ZERO.

I ordered 2 spicy chicken combos. One of my sandwiches was classic and not spicy. We ordered mashed potatoes and red beans and rice as sides and only got one spork between us. The classic sandwich is good, but the whole reason we went was to try the spicy sandwich. I am disappointed. Revisited 2/1/22 and was shorted my large mac and cheese. I called to inform them and was told " the girl said she put it in the bag." I said "I'm looking at everything from the bag and there is no mac and cheese." Fuming..... we'll see if I get my missing mac and cheese next visit, or if it will be the last.
Chicken tasted like they cooked it several hours earlier and it sat under a heat lamp for 4 hours. We asked for sauces several times and they still did not put it in our bags. We asked for utensils because it was a take out order and they only gave us 1 even though we order had 4 different combo meals
So, I've always enjoyed Popeye's food and service before. Today, I ordered an 8-pc meal with 1 lg. side and 4 biscuits for $21.99. Then, I realized I had seen an advertisement on-property for a 9 pc meal with 2 lg sides and 4 biscuits. It was 9:15 p.m. and The doors were locked. When I knocked on the door to speak to a manager, I was told I had to go through drive-thru. Finally, a man claiming to be a manager came outside. He told me that they were short-staffed and that's why the lobby was locked (I get that but a note on the door would have been nice). When I showed him the advertisement and asked for the 1 pc and lg side difference because of the ad, he declined and said he cannot do it. I told him that by law an advertise price has to be honored. He chose not to honor it. When I let him know that I would contact corporate, he said, "that was fine, go ahead". It's sad to see improper training of laws and willingness to upset a guest over a piece of chicken and a side order.
We just ordered an 8 piece spicey meal for dinner this evening, with one side and 4 biskets from the drive through. I couldn't be more disappointed. First the drive through attendant wasn't friendly at all. No greeting or thank you. Our 8 piece meal had no chicken breast in it only legs and wings and a thigh. The attendant didn't say anything about not having breasts. Next not a single piece of the chicken was spicey, it was all non spicey breasts. Again the employee didn't say anything about not having spicey available. It wasn't even warm to the touch. The biskets were cold and hard and the one condiment requested was honey which they did not include. These people don't even deserve minimum wage. Pathetic, never be back
It took forever to get my order and when I did receive it the chicken was not only cold, but also hard. I've never had this problem at any other chains. What a disappointment we will not be ordering from there again!!
Count your pieces of chicken before you leave the drive-thru window. This store is stealing money by not giving the correct amount of chicken...With the cost of everything going up..you would think that they would be honorable with giving the amount of chicken paid for.. If popeyes make 1$ Extra by stealing from customers at drive thru...popeyes can make an extra million dollars off of a million customers....especially if they do not check their bags... The cypress spring manager said she “don't care if we did not get the correct amount of chicken...she said...deal with it”....she is ok with this..she .....so it's a strong possibility she's putting the extra dollars she's stealing from customers in her pockets... This is One way managers have embezzled money from large corporations. Seems like everyone is just mean and hateful and integrity no longer exist. Enjoy the money you stole..God does not sleep 🙌..
Our chicken was served cold and when we asked for a refund we had to jump through hoops. After reading some other reviews this is clearly not the first time this location has done this, I would not recommend this Popeye's. I'm no fried chicken expert but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be served above lukewarm - yuk!
My order was not right! Out of Chicken sandwiches, Corn on Cob, et. Biscuit was hard as a rock. Chicken Breast was old and dried...maybe both were made the week before. Extremely disappointed! I was over charged, didn't realize until I was home. No manager in sight.
Worst Popeyes I have ever been to. Please beware they pre-cook way too much food. I order a tackle box that was old and greasy. Called the store to let them know and she(the manager) said what do you want me to do? All I can do is remake the order. I tell her ok. Once I get back to the store, she proceeds to pull out more shrimp under a heated lamp, and say that’s how they are all cooked. First of all, why do you have old shrimp under a heated lamp(food poisoning)? Second of all, why are you arguing with me, when we both can clearly see the shrimp you’re showing me have been seating under a heat lamp? The shrimp in my box are probably the same shrimp, but you threw it in the grease to have some heat as if it was just cooked. If you like food that is seating up under a heat lamp, this is the Popeyes for you. So disappointed!!!
Rude and stupid staff at this location. Just got a 3 piece combo and they refused to give any sauces. They said we don't serve sauces with the chicken, lol That's a first! Not even a single one. Never coming to this location again
Yesterday, I order from here via doordash and they forgot to put my fries in the bag. I called, they apologized and said they will replace them... I said cool. I guess I will come by tomorrow.. Today, the manager said it never happened and he doent remember the conversation... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. they lost a lifetime customer and hopedul they will loss the service of who ever reads this review..
I'm not sure what is going on with Popeyes, their food use to be so good, but now it is awful. Didn't get spicy chicken like I requested. Chicken wasn't fried good, and it had no taste. Biscuits were hard, red beans had no seasoning. I visited the Cypress location, but its not only this location. Wasted $30. Definitely won't be going back.
Not a very good experience. Ordered 5 piece chicken tenders. Asked to wait. Waited in the car for 10 min. When no one had shown up went into the restaurant to get the food. Got the wrong order. 3 piece instead of 5 piece. No receipt. Waste of time to call back. Hope they employ people with common sense.
Places a mobile order to 5 pieces, Mac & cheese, Mash potatoes... went to pick up and the Manager was rude, but decided I wasn't going to let it bother me. The girl at the window wanted to see my order to confirm, I gave her my phone and then she gave me the bag... I wrnt home and it wasn't anything close to my order... all looked like leftovers from them about to close and it is too late now to call them.... I received wings, 1 small Mac & cheese, 1 small red beans & rice, 1 apple pie, 1 cinnamon biscuit, some sort of oreo dessert, and all including chicken were cold... there plan apparently was to give me the leftovers and by the time I would find out it would be too late as they would be closed. Not surprised at the culture at this location based on my interaction with whoever thr manager was a few minutes ago.
I went to this location and the manager was so damn rude. He just gave me my wings and walked away. And the wings weren't even fresh. No hello, no thank you. Ridiculous! He he knew and just half-assed it... JUST WASTEFUL of my time and money... 👎
We ordered and paid for 2 chicken sandwiches (1 reg & 1 spicy), 2 mash potatoes with gravy on the side, 3 piece all white box. What we received was 1 spicy chicken sandwich, 2 mashed potatoes with (minimal) gravy on them and a 3 piece mixed box (breast, leg & wing). We have tried calling multiple times and it always rings until it goes to voicemail. They were rushing us as we were looking through the bag confirming we received what we ordered and they stated that everything was there. Well, guess what!!! It wasn't!!! Now we have to return to the store and retrieve the missing items or get a refund.
This Popeyes was the worse chicken place to go to. They had a feather on my chicken and a piece of hair was in it. And my order is always incorrect, I had to wait over 45 minutes for them to bring out my food when I only ordered the Tuesday specials. Then the lady with only 2 teeth in her mouth gets mad if you ask for thighs instead of legs. And she will talk all over your food while spit is flying out her mouth. I will never eat there again. Horrible food and horrible customer service.
Pretty unethusiastic customer service here. Coin flip if they mess something up on my order or not. They do cook the chicken right though so we go back since it's the closest one. Update 2020-02-13: even worse customer experience when calling about them screwing up my order AGAIN! Got some dude overseas that could not care less if I stayed a customer or not. I asked for a resolution and a call back to know what they're doing to fix their broken process and was literally told "well since your accepting a voucher from us, the store management doesn't have to call you." Probably won't eat here again because the service is that bad. I'll put it in all caps for people to see. THERE IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE THEY WILL SCREW UP YOUR ORDER! TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK AND DOUBLE CHECK THE ORDER!
Terrible service! I waited 55 mins for 2 online orders. After 20 mins waiting i asked about the order, no response. After 30 mins of watching the assoc at the counter do nothing I was told "now you are gonna wait longer if you ever get it!" The manager was working her butt off but never spoke to cust. The baskets where they keep the food to fill orders was completely FULL so it was not the cooks! The employees at the drive thru filled several orders but there was at least 3 people handling the drive thru.
Would've given a minus to this store if I could, they gave my order to someone else and refused to reimburse my loss. Even tried to justify their action saying " you're late, why did you order early and come in late?!" So stay away from this store, or they won't verify your identity and give your stuff to other people. I had to call customer service to get a refund. Only thing i wish i could've done was to capture that lady's name but she ran off. It's one thing if you could accept your mistake, but totally different story if you tried to justify it period.
The manager at this location is terrible! Bad attitude. Husband went at 9:30 and asked for mild legs and she informed him they were out and not making anymore. As a matter of fact they only had mild thighs left. Husband said he'll take the spicy legs they had, she then said those were gone too! They don't close until 11!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Very low quality! The food is awful; Everything was COLD. The chicken was soggy, fries were old and flavorless, the apple pies were old, refried and tasted burnt, & the biscuits were hard! The only good thing was how quick it came out but of course old food would come out quickly!
Food was cold and not fresh! Grandson loves Popeyes, he would eat his chicken strips or fries. Strips were tough and fries cold. Wasted $35 , will not be back!!!
They never have any Chicken Ready for any day of the week after 5 pm when People when get off work and want to feed their Family. This is the second time it has happened, They serve chicken so you would think they would have some. 30 minute wait - REALLY for a Family Pack!
Just left here 30 mins ago. Around 1030pm oct 19th, 2024. Two guys at the window. Car in front of me seem to be gettin there food fresh. Got my tenders quick should have checked. Nevertheless had to throw them away because they were old. Also I ordered spicy but received whatever that was left. Ridiculous, I wanted to go bk up there but didn’t because they were closing. Will be goin to the one on barker as they have better service and fresh foods, I feel sick!
I had gone thru drive through and asked for a sandwich and boneless wings. Seems the guy at drive through misheard and during payment mentioned that the wings were classic. I had asked for Parmesan garlic. I requested for a change (the cost is the same) which he rudely refused. The side sauce was also not given.
This place really needs to get their crap together. Once again we make an online order for pickup only to get home and it is wrong!! I usually go to the location on Barker Cypress but I only went to this location because it is closer to my house. I will drive the extra miles to go to Barker Cypress because this location is horrible.
They closed 30 minutes early and left all the customers, that had been waiting in the drive thru line for an hour , before informing us they were "out of chicken"; as they were leaving!! No consideration for customers, and the manager was extremely rude and condescending when asked for the store number. I'm a lifelong Popeyes customer and I'll never go back to this location.
I acknowledge that I should have inspected my food before leaving, a habit I typically follow. However, after discovering that my meal was overcooked at your establishment, which is not conveniently located near my home, I contacted customer service to request a refund due to the poor quality of the food. Instead of issuing a refund for the overcooked meal, they suggested using a $5 coupon for my next visit, despite my spending well over $10 on the meal itself. This approach doesn't seem to align with the best practices in customer service.
This is my third time buying from this branch and it was the same bad experience. The chicken is dry old and cold, fires were so bad. Try another branch if you like Popeyes.
This location is the worst Popeyes I have experienced in term of service and food. The cashier and supervisor were both unprofessional and typed my gift card number incorrectly three times so my gift card declined. I had explained to them that they didn't enter the numbers correctly. They told me to come back tomorrow when they are not as busy and talk to a manager. I asked if they can just re-type with the correct numbers. They refused. So frustrating. Why can't they just hire competent people who can enter numbers correctly? Also, the cashier was taking my order when a doordash dasher came in to pick up an order but it wasn't ready. She went to prepare the doordash order then came back 5 minutes later to finish taking my order. Then 30 seconds later, another doordash dasher came in, she was about to put my order on hold to prepare his order. Then I said, could you please finish my order now? Don't get wings here. the wings are so tiny. It's a ripped off. Service is terrible. Go somewhere else.
Horrible, chicken sandwich had spoiled chicken, Mac and cheese tasted a week old, asked for no bacon on my ghost pepper sandwich and sure enough got bacon on it, I went in to ask for another one and the guy proceeded to grab the bacon with his bare hands and try to give it back. And to make it even worse not a single person speaks English. Never again
The only reason why I am forced to return to this place is because my kids love the chicken tenders from Popeyes. But the staff are far from friendly. When you go in for order pickup, they don't greet you nor do you get a smile. When I asked I came for my order & said my name, I was just given my bag. No greetings, no thank yous. I came home & found my order was missing all of the 5 sauces that I requested for my family feast. So definitely check your bag to ensure it's got everything you ordered. Previously,, I've had instances where I had a side dish missing (coleslaw, fries) &/or not having all the sauces that I ordered ☹
I share the same consensus along with others, the manager (male manager) at this location is very unprofessional. I ask for 4 wings bone IN. He said he only had the bone Out specialty wing strips. (The flavored ones) I asked again to clarify that they did not have bone IN wings. He said no. So ordered from the numbered special. (#2 a 2 piece) He asked “White or dark meat?” I said white because I wanted to see if my breast was coming with a bone out wing strip since he said they did not have any bone in wings. I pulled around to the window to pay and low and behold, I got a breast and 1 Bone In chicken wing. I asked him why did he say he did not have bone in chicken wings . He said he did not sell it like that and in order to get 4 wings I had to order 4 breast and wing combos. I said this is not true because this should be an a la carte order for 4 bone in wings. Again he said I would have to order a numbered special in order to get 4 bone in wings such as a breast and wing combo. So I would have to order 4, $10 breast and wing bone in combinations to get 4 wings. He said I could not just order 4 bone in wings. My husband was in the car with me and he asked if he would just please replace the 1 breast and charge for the 3 extra wings for whatever the cost was so the Manager conceded and decided to let me order the 4 wings with an additional $5.00 . (I really wanted the wings because I had cravings) I will NEVER solicit this location again. I had to pay extra with time and cost which was a waste of my time. The wings ended up being over cooked and dry. I should have gone to KFC like I started to. I felt discriminated against to be honest. If this is not a common practice to order a la carte or wings separate then their should have been a sign posted. Or on the digital display. He the manager, made up this rule on the fly because he may have been running out of chicken. I don’t know 🤷🏽♀️. What I do know is I won’t be back at this Popeyes location in Cypress, Texas🚫 Bad franchise owner. Bad manager. Poor business practices.

This Popeye location the manager was rude didn’t even become nicer when I spotted a roach crawling in the dining area took pictures of it. She said it came in from outside. We’re all roaches come in from outside, and she had paperwork to show. She gets her monthly treatment with the pest control people possibly she should entertain the idea of having the Pest Control people to come back more than once a month if you have a live, Roach crawling around with your customers and that’s the only thing she said. This Popeye location is on Spring Cypress in Cypress, TX 77429. Avoid it all cost.
This is the most unprofessional Popeyes. They often mess up the orders. Cannot talk clearly in drive thru. Communication is extremely limited because of a language barrier. And rude often this also includes the managers. I will be contacting corporate.
manager was rude. i greeted him and he ignored me and rudely gave me my food. also everytime i get food from here they always seem to get my order wrong. never coming here again.
Worst Popeyes I've ever ordered from. Wrong sandwich with no toppings, coleslaw warmer than the chicken, no condiments, undercooked fries. Complete incompetence.
I’m writing because I visited the Popeyes at 17318 Spring Cypress and 77429 this evening 6/11/25 around 5:50 pm. When I got home I was very disappointed and dissatisfied to find that I did not get my order exactly how I ordered it. I ordered an 8 piece family meal. It said on the screen it would come with 2 legs 2 breasts, 2 wings and 2 thighs. To my disappointment I received 4 thighs, 0 legs 2 wings 2 breasts. I feel as though if they are going to substitute pieces with other pieces they should say that. I bit into the biscuit and they were awful almost like they were under cooked and overcooked at the same time and days old. I was shocked because I bypass other Popeyes to go to this one because the food is normally fresh and the order is correct. That wasn’t the case today. These were the worst biscuits that I have ever tasted. I would like to hear from someone so we can Further discuss this matter, I would also like my order replaced. I called the store several times and nobody ever answered so I decided to go ahead and write you here. I look forward to hearing from someone on this matter. Thanks M.W Pictures below
Was helped with the Spanish girl flirting with her boyfriend who has tattoos on her arm… Tuesday, February 20 around 1:50 PM if the owner of this location actually cares. They will not let me redeem points in store for my order they may take excuse it’s not working in fact, I don’t think they know how it works,… Again, if the owner actually cares? So I ordered it online even though I’m standing in the store. When I got it they literally took it from the grease and put it in the box literally too hot to even hold in my hand. See photo.
This location is horrible! I ordered a 12 piece nuggets. First they shorted the amount so I didn’t receive a 12 piece. It was crumbs and hard old pieces of meat. It was only 3 nuggets that was edible. It’s sad how an establishment will allow old food to be sold and given to customers. Food prices are too high to deal with type of nonsense.
Terrible experience, I ordered $57.00 of their chicken tenders and a "on bone" family pak with 2 large sides. The "on bone" mild chicken was lower than room temperature and it was very dry with dark areas from being over cooked. I did not get my sides, but they did give me two orders of their French fries, which is not what I ordered. I ordered Rice and beans as the lg side orders. I would have check my order in my care but unpacking 4 boxes of chicken, biscuits and tenders is not a easy chore. Needless to say, I did throw out the On Bone chicken(36.99) and I ordered a pizza instead. I did ask the guy at the drive thorough if everything was correct, he said yes. Needless to say, he lied. I've called their location and their inbox is full. I hope their corporate office gets wind of this.. they need to be part of the "great resignation!
