Ruby makes the place what it is. She's very customer friendly, kind personality and cute too, but tonight I was let down by one who works there. The cashier and server. She's nice and all but I ordered a shrimp and two fish dinners. I asked for extra cocktail sauce she said she put two in there for my wife's shrimp dinner but I get home there's only one and one catsup and one tarter sauce. The one catsup didn't go far with the three large amounts of fries. I didn't think to ask for tatar sauce I just thought it was a given, one little cup did not go far for two dinners. They serve large fillets and it's good real good. But if I order fish, I expect that they would give you enough tater sauce for your meal. But she was busy, maybe it was someone else's job to divvy out the condiments. Fish dinners, done right is not cheap, tartar sauce is cheap enough to not get chincy on. Catsup is even cheaper. It was just careless, and again it was a busy Saturday night. This should be automatic for each order and would have enough for their dinner. The to go orders come in the Styrofoam 8x8 boxes and the bottom is wall to wall crinkle cut fries and the two fillets cover up the fries. Great servings sizes, great tasting fair prices, clean and remember fish takes a bit longer to do right than hamburgers do. They have a great recipe. I'm trying to be mad here but I can't. Oh pssst fish places usually have hush puppies it just goes without saying I think. So I missed not having those, I like dipping in tartar sauce. It's a 5 star place and the help is too. I like Tex Mex and real Mexican recipes like this place. I may have been the only anglo all night but that's how I know I am at the real deal.

I was there today, I had a wonderful experience there, this is my first time I never never I tasted Oaxaca food I can't say nothing bad about it, the food is Great and so delicious, about the people that work there, thay are super super and super friendly with us, I recomend this place with 100%

Always a great eating experience. Priced decently like other spots, but this is a hidden gem. Trust me you will not be disappointed for trying it.

Realmente en muchos años es la primera vez que probamos una real comida hogareña, un sabor exquisito, sin exceso en la orden ni faltante,un placer haber sido atendidos por gente muy sencilla y servicial, La ultima estrella es de ustedes,lamentablemente el baño de caballeros parece baño de cantina, pero estoy seguro que pondre las 5 ☆☆☆☆☆porque son de ustedes.

Deliciosas las tlayudas y todo lo que ordenamos tenía auténtico sabor oaxaqueño. No le doy 5 estrellas solo por las bebidas, el agua de pepino con piña estaba muy simple y a la de horchata le faltó leche y sabor. De ahí en fuera la atención y el sabor de la comida estuvieron excelentes

Seating was ok Somewhat good food

Lacks a bit in all areas not polished much lag in service time I had beef soup with one inch oil fat on top found a 2x2 inch Yellow cloth fabric in my soup! Must of been what gave it such great flavor 🤣

I was kind enough to stay just to give this review. The menu stated items with black beans but they were no beans at all. Instead I was served what appeared to me to be a brown gravy of what appeared to be blended pinto beans. Which also was served as dip in a bowl. Also 1 glass of tap water was nearly $5 which was not listed on the menu. I had a $14 meal and $10 worth of tap water and $2 taxes. I would not say that was worth $24 and certainly not $30, as I did tip the waitress out of courtesy. Of course not being able to speak English I only got a pleasant smile and the response of si, si, when I pointed to the bill and questioned. The food was small to average portion and what I say as "regular Mexican dish"

Horrible, found a ROACH in my food?? Where is the food inspectors at?? Horrible place this place needs to be shut down for safety reason IMMEDIATELY, they have horrible customer service these waiters should be replaced As soon as POSSIBLE some teenager going of the name “David” (horrible name) he looked like he was doing such inappropriate behavior such as letting off stress (ifykyk) Iam so DISAPPOINTED im my experience at this horrible restaurant never again Iam calling safety and getting this place shut down

La musica esta muy alta parece disco mas bien, antes no era asi.. ni hablar puede uno porque no se escucha.. si le bajaran un poco a su musica seria buena idea

La comida no es que este en mal estado lo malo es que no tiene sabor, tiene buen color pero no sabe a nada, la atencion del dueño no es agradable pues no soluciona nada, los comentarios son para mejora del lugar no para que se molesten. Los platillos se quedaron practicamente enteros. Definitivamente no recomiendo el lugar.

Es una vergüenza que se diga llamar comida hondureña, pedí un caldo y esto me llegó. En vez de carne fue grasa con huesos totalmente pelados. Aparte como se va a entregar un caldo en este tipo de recipiente. Me arrepentí llegar a comer a ese lugar muy mal sabor y dejan muy mal parada la comida hondureña porque realmente esto no es hecho por hondureños. Las tajadas con pollo realmente no es así como los hondureños preparamos las tajadas con pollo.

Es el peor restaurante que he visitado en toda mi vida!!! La comida esta grasosa y no tiene sabor alguno, si este es el sabor de la comida hondureña creo que están en la era de piedra en lo que respecta al sabor! Y lo peor de todo la comida no sirve y esta super cara! 80$ por 3 platos de comida que no sirve.

Evidently Noone goes to the men's room because the urinal is stopped up and smells like it has been for a long time. Not to mention the commode the one in the handicap I raised the seat to take a leak and it fell to the floor. Tell me how could a handicapped person sit on it without sliding all over the place. If you don't go to the rest room to even wash your hands you nasty person ,the FOOD is good

I use to go here when it was John's I went here today order catfish and salad I was giving catfish and fries I was SO,SO ,very disappointed I ate one piece of fish and threw the rest away. IF you don't understand the order,Repeat the order to make sure you have it right .Never deliver food unless its correct. I WILL NEVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN

We told the waitress and she came back and told us that her boss tasted the chicken and it wasnt hard. From experience that i have of working in restaurants , you should not argue with customers. Anyways we was still charged for the plate that my husband didnt eat. The food and service was good .

We're a Mexican family from out of town visiting. We had a terrible experience there. We had our 2 month old daughter with us, it was very hot & humid in the restaurant, no A/C. We waited 30 minutes and no one asked us What we wanted to drink or eat. Finally they came over to us and took our order. 2 other tables came in after we ordered and they got their food fast while we where still waiting for our food. Finally 1 1/2 hrs later we got our food, it was not that good, nothing had flavor. Time came to pay and they tried to over charge us for food we never even got. These people are not Mexican, and neither is the food. They're from Nicaragua, El Salvador, & Honduras I think. Very sad that they don't treat all the Latino community with the same respect.
