We were in this evening for our 28th Anniversary and we left very pleased with our choice for dinner. From the moment we were greeted at the Vallet Stand all the way through the amazing dessert it was wonderful. Tom and the wait team were outstanding. Everyone wished us a happy Anniversary and made me feel very special. Tom was knowledgeable in wine choices and attended to our every request.

Just awesome! The whole experience. My husband and I were celebrating our 1-year wedding anniversary and Ruth’s Chris really made it special. Starting with our server, she was fantastic. Kaleigh was so sweet and friendly; and, she was super attentive the entire night. She was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and she even offered to take a picture for our anniversary. Secondly, the food was superb. We each had a caesar salad and different kinds of steaks with shrimp. We also shared sides of mashed potatoes and mushrooms. All of which was absolutely delicious. It's very rare to say that everything you've tried on the menu is amazing, but that's exactly how it is this location. From our waiter Clark, to the mixologist and the drinks, to the amazing delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. Every bit of the experience was amazing. Clark was really professional and attentive. He was very knowledgeable about various items of the menu we asked about and gave great suggestions. He was always timely in asking if we needed anything. This young man should definitely be highlighted and acknowledged for his outstanding customer service skills. With his approach and attitude I'm sure whatever future plans he has he'll be successful. The mushroom filled with crab cakes were very good. The only bad thing about them is that you only get 4! Very tasty! The mash potatoes could definitely use some seasoning and maybe sour cream, it was my least favorite. However, the creme spinach and lobster mac n cheese are fantastic. There's a lot of good flavor going on with those items. Definitely happy I got them. The filet of course is one of a kind. Seasoned very generously and bursting with flavor. The shrimp were a nice addition as well. It's very rare to try various drinks and all of them be delicious and filled with a nice portion of alcohol. The pomegranate martini might just be my favorite! Excellent job! The lemon drop, long Island ice tea, raspberry mojito, amaretto sour were all pretty good as well. The cheesecake is absolutely the best I've ever had, probably better than Jr's from NYC. No complaints from end to end and top to bottom. 2022.09.16 update Still as awesome as ever! I had the best birthday dinner here! My partner and I got the 40oz porter house🤤🤤🤤 it was cooked to perfection. For sides we had creamed spinach and the sweet potatoes, everythint was delish. The service was impeccable. I definitely recommend!

The manager was funny, and the manager in training Mike was our photographer. When my Aunt sugar dropped they brought her free juice and checked on her. Our waiter Johnathan was great he knew the perfect time to come. Everyone we encountered was an added experience to our night. This was on my to-eat list since I heard about Ruth’s Chris way over from Singapore. This was a first time experience and it didn’t disappoint. The seasoned to perfection ribeye filet mid-rare is melt in your mouth good and the lobster mac and cheese had a good balance of savoury and cheesy goodness with pieces of succulent lobster. They played slow jazz music and that added to the atmosphere and the wait staff were (are) very attentive, and they are very good conversationalists as well. Definitely will recommend this excellent steakhouse to anyone visiting Dallas!

Decided to celebrate my boyfriends 40th birthday here. Ambiance was really well, it was busy but not chaotic & our area was a little warm but not uncomfortable. Jabari was amazing & even celebrated the same birthday as my boyfriend (we gave him & extra tip ❤️) he was so nice & definitely an amazing member of the team.

I had the absolute best dining experience at Ruth’s Chris thanks to our server, Kass. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and knowledge of the menu truly stood out. I ordered the filet topped with their signature blue cheese crust and a side of garlic mashed potatoes, and it was perfection. The steak was cooked exactly how I wanted, and every bite was delicious. Kass made sure everything came out just right and checked in at just the right times without ever being overbearing. She is by far the best server I’ve ever had, and she made the whole evening memorable. Because of her, I’ll definitely be back again soon.

I was treated to a birthday dinner here at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. First time hearing of this place, and it was phenomenal. Both filets were cooked to perfection, and now both husband and I would say best steak we've ever had so far. Food was seasoned well (mashed potatoes and asparagus) and overall just delicious. We celebrated our 45 wedding anniversary there recently and were very impressed. The place was older, but very warm and welcoming. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. We started with salads and ordered the Porterhouse for two with a side of asparagus. They had a special desert for us with the words Happy 45 anniversary for us at the end of the meal. We had a lovely time.

She took such great care of us during our dining experience. I want to rave about my recent experience with my boyfriend for our 4-year anniversary. The food was fantastic, but the best part of our experience was our service. Our server, Bob, made this an unforgettable experience for both of us! Bob did not miss a mark during our entire meal - he was always one step ahead of us, making thoughtful suggestions and prioritizing our customer experience overall. It was the little things like offering to split my Caesar salad into two servings, and offering to take our picture and capture the moment that really blew us both away. I asked Bob how long he's been working here, to which he replied, "since 2004". His two decades' worth of experience was apparent to us both, and we cannot thank him enough for making our anniversary experience at Ruth's Chris such a special one!

It was so busy, as expected for new years eve. There were managers walking the floor helping the servers. I appreciate that, so no server fell behind. The food was delicious! Mac n cheese was not the hottest and slightly under cooked but was still good! For how busy it was I'll take that being my only complaint. All the food was delicious! Will be back.

For our 20th wedding anniversary we decided to seek out fine dining at a DFW steakhouse. Our choice of Ruth Chris Steakhouse was an amazing pick. The atmosphere and service was top notch; our serving team lead by Kathy was excellent. The food was outstanding to say the least. Five stars all around.

Ruth's Chris has a Happy Hour! We went on a Sunday for Happy Hour. We sat at the bar area. You can sit at the bar, but the bar area also has high and low tables. We chose to sit at a high table. Will was bartending, and he was a great host. He went through the menu items with us, and was very friendly. I ordered an Old Fashioned to start off, and it was great. We ordered a Spicy Shrimp plate, zucchini fries and sweet potato casserole. For our mains, we ordered the 6 oz filet with shrimp and Cabernet and a steak sandwich. All our dishes came out hot and the plate presentation was great! We were very pleased with our meal, and the bar atmosphere was great. We will definitely return!

I had waited an entire year to dine at Ruth’s Chris, so I walked in with real excitement and high expectations. The ambiance was beautiful, the atmosphere was warm, and the staff — especially my waitress — delivered 5‑star service from start to finish. They went out of their way to make the evening feel special, and that part truly exceeded anything I expected. But the food… that’s where the disappointment set in. The Seafood Tower was great — fresh, well‑presented, and honestly one of the strongest parts of the night. But everything after that took a noticeable step down. My 6oz filet mignon with shrimp arrived looking fine, but the flavor simply wasn’t there. The filet was overcooked and lacked seasoning. The shrimp fell apart. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were under‑seasoned and didn’t carry the richness Ruth’s Chris is known for. For a place with such a strong reputation, the entrée felt surprisingly flat. I ended with the crème brûlée, which was good — smooth, creamy, and a welcome recovery after a disappointing main course. And that’s what made the night so frustrating: The service and ambiance were 5‑star, but the food itself was a clear 3‑star. After waiting a year to come here, I left genuinely disappointed. I expected more — especially from a restaurant with this level of prestige. But even with the letdown, I would still return. The staff earned that. The ambiance earned that. And I believe the kitchen can do better. Hopefully management sees this, takes it seriously, and ensures the next experience reflects the standard Ruth’s Chris is known for. I’m willing to give them another chance — and I truly hope the next visit lives up to the reputation.

We also ordered the sizzling crab cakes which are my wife's favorite anywhere! We ordered the 11oz filet and jumbo lobster tail for our entre and brussel sprouts, lobster Mac and cheese and loaded whipped mashed potatoes for our sides. This meal was as good as any meal that I've ever had. The steak and lobster tail were cooked perfectly and everything else was amazing! Chuck was the manager that night! He was extremely attentive and made sure that we were happy throughout the evening. He was great! Alivia was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal! We will make sure that we have her each and every time we come back to Ruth's Chris! I highly recommend coming here to eat. It's not cheap, but it's so worth it!

Ruth's Chris was great. The food was worth the price! My stuffed chicken was perfectly seasoned with a Cajun taste. It was tender, and the cheese and herb were the perfect blend. The lobster Mac was delicious. I have had better Au Gratin potatoes, so they were just ok. But all the food came out piping hot. For dessert, I had the molten cake and of course it was good. The ambiance/atmosphere was nice, so overall I give them a 9/10.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for catching up and enjoying each other’s company. We started with three appetizers that were bursting with flavor, then moved on to our main dishes, tender lamb chops, juicy steak, and perfectly stuffed chicken. Every bite was delicious. We added three tasty sides and ended with two rich desserts that we couldn’t stop talking about. Zach, our server, was kind, friendly and attentive, and the manager, Jeff, made us feel truly valued. Their hospitality made the night even more special. Honestly, it’s the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had, great food, great service, and even better memories with my sisters. Our server Alivia was fantastic! Came for Christmas Eve dinner with the family at 7… it was very busy! But they told us upfront and it was obvious how busy, that we would be seated 15/20min. Nice grab a drink and wait no big deal it’s very busy. This is my only gripe of the night is the bar was full and there is not standing or sitting room it got very crowded standing by the front. Got to our table and everything was as it should be and after we ordered our food our server came out 15 min or so and told us there was a delay with the salads because again it’s Christmas, she mentioned she wanted to be transparent and set proper expectations. She mentioned she was New working there, she handled the busy like a pro. We told her we were thankful for constantly checking in and offering drinks or bread etc. She mentioned some people were not as pleasant, I felt bad hearing that. If you read this review and you can’t be reasonable on the busiest and most joyful and cheerful day of the year, stay home. Anyways, good was excellent got the Xmas chefs recommended steak and lobster. It was fantastic. Cook perfectly. Lobster tails were fantastic as well. Just awesome! And again our server was great. The manager also stopped by to check on us; I didn’t catch his name, but he was extremely polite and professional. Overall, an exceptional experience. We came to this restaurant over a year ago for our anniversary, and I want to say the food was so delicious and they gave us a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary. The head waiter came by and showed us how to enjoy the meat so it can taste even better. We do recommend you make a reservation. But the experience was worth it.

Ruth's Chris was amazing. When I walked in the establishment I immediately had the feeling of sophistication. Sophistication without feeling stuffy. As the different course came out, it seemed as if the food got better and better. I would compare it to an Mozart Concertos. Literally, everything was exceptional. From the Mac and Cheese to the masterful salad, to the perfectly grilled and seasoned salmon. If I could give any recommendation to the restaurant, it would be to update it a tad. Besides that, everything else was simply fabulous.

An ad popped up on my IG so I decided to give it a try for my anniversary. Let’s start at the Valet, the gentleman was really sweet and welcoming. At the Front desk, I met two ladies. They didn’t offer any greetings so I went ahead and said hi… no response so I went ahead and mentioned my reservation. One of them got the menus and asked us to follow her. She spread some roses on our table just like I had requested. That was sweet! Then our server, who made everything so much better… Ashanti! She was very sweet, eloquent and knowledgeable. We ordered the Ribeye, which we shared. I’ll just say I have had better steaks. The creamed spinach and garlic mashed was delicious! I also had the expresso martini which was really good. Mid dinner, I think he was a manager came by and wished us a happy anniversary. The service at this restaurant was definitely 10/10. I would visit again.

Made reservations to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. I really hate that they closed the downtown location. However, this location isn't bad. They didn't have lambchops this time, which was a bomber. The food was delicious as always. Still my favorite restaurant to celebrate my birthday.

Had dinner late on a Sunday night. 1st time there. The service was great, the refills kept coming, employees were friendly, everything was clean. There were four of us and we tried several dishes. The BBQ shrimp appetizer and wedge salad was great, but the stuffed chicken, potatoes au gratin, and stuffed mushrooms were bland. My hubby had one of the steaks said it tasted great (it looked great too). I don’t have anything bad to say but I don’t have anything great to say either. The whole experience was pretty bland. I would go again to try other dishes, maybe during peak hours.

Ruth's Chris steakhouse is a great choice for a high-end dining experience. The environment is classy and sophisticated, down to the crisp White linen tablecloths. I stopped by for dinner last night after a meeting. I very much was in the mood for a steak, and I was not disappointed. My server was friendly, had great customer service and follow-up. To start, I had a glass of prosecco and the Caesar salad. The salad was generous, had a delicious dressing and was served with large slices of Parmesan cheese throughout. For dinner I had the steak and lobster and substituted grilled asparagus. The plate was served hot and sizzling. The steak was delicious, I did feel that the lobster was a bit overcooked and tough. That was at a disappointing. The grilled asparagus were served with a lovely sauce and were cooked nicely. Delicious meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was incredible but the service was lackluster. Our table card was not given to a waiter and we waited quite a while once seated for service. We really enjoyed all of the entrees and sides we ordered! I especially appreciated how much Parmesan was on the caesar salad.

Definitely not the fastest place to eat. It’s probably a two hour block. Mostly waiting for food. I had a Caesar salad, that was amazing. 🤩 I had the 11oz fillet with shrimp, it came out medium rare when I asked for well done. But they fixed it, and it turned out super delicious. Our waiter Tiffany was super helpful when it came to deciding on what to order.

The food service was out of sync with the main course showing up three bites into our salads. There was a long wait for a dessert menu and even longer for dessert to arrive. Our server seemed to be very new and inexperienced which might be why our experience was not as we have come to expect from this restaurant. We visited on a busy day and I would expect that a future visit will go better. This is the first time I've rated a Ruth's Chris less than 5 stars.

I made dinner reservations Sunday evening for my gf and I. We were greeted and seated promptly! As we sat down we appreciated the ambience of the restaurant. Our server Jabori was very courteous and professional. We knew what we wanted right away, we decided on the chef's suggestion of the filet and lobster tail. I was surprised it wasn't accompanied by at least one side. However, the steak was tasteful. My lobster was really soft as it may have been overly steamed. We asked for baked potato but was informed they were out. So they replaced it with mash potatoes, they were too creamed didn't have any texture but we appreciated the attempt. The steak is fine. The presentation is terrible. We get a single piece of meat on a flaming hot plate that's just barely bigger than the steak (think, a side plate for bread), so you get two issues: if you cut too aggressively, juices and such spill off the plate, possibly on your lap. The second is the plate is too small to fit any sides. So now you've just spent good money on food that can't go on the same plate. So look, service was great, drinks were good, steak was fine... That said, there are plenty of alternative places all over DFW you might like more.

The service was impeccable but the food was simply just OK. Had the stuffed chicken and some sides, but not worth the price as far as I’m concerned. Lots of free tables when we went so would have preferred a more isolated/romantic table but was sat right at the entrance where we saw everyone’s comings and goings. Not the best.

First off, my parents always celebrated their anniversary at Ruth’s Chris in New Orleans every year. I thought it would be a great idea to celebrate my daughter’s 14th birthday there, not only to remember my parents, but for my daughter and I to have this experience for the first time together. Our reservation was for 7:00 p.m. and we arrived 15 minutes late due to circumstances beyond my control. Because of this, I was prepared to be a walk in, no deal, life happens. When I checked in, the hostess immediately started chastising me, and said, we have a 15 minute window for reservations and they’ll get us seated as soon as possible. Her attitude was extremely cold and she appeared irritated with me. I was humiliated in front of my daughter and other guests standing near by. I noticed a couple near by who witnessed this with a look of disbelief. I even asked if they accepted walk ins or is it reservation only because her attitude was so bad. She said we do take walk ins but it’s best to make a reservation on nights like this. We waited about 20-30 minutes before we were seated. There were several empty tables and it didn’t appear to be as busy as she made it seem. The gentleman working with her seated us, and he appeared to be disgusted as well. Our waiter was very nice and our food was prepared the way we requested. If it had not been my daughter’s birthday. We would have went to a different steakhouse where we’ve been shown a lot more respect and appreciation as a patron.

The food and beverages were excellent. Our entire party ordered the filet and lobster tail combination. The steak was prepared exactly as requested and seasoned to perfection. We also shared the lobster mac and cheese, which was exceptional. Even the Caesar salad was fresh and well prepared. Although I am not typically a fan of bread pudding, it was the chef’s selection, and I found it to be better than expected. Two stars were deducted due to the service. Our dining experience would have been outstanding had the service matched the quality of the food. Unfortunately, our server was not very personable and appeared quite stiff throughout the evening. He did not provide our table with the same level of attentiveness and enthusiasm that we observed him giving to nearby tables. I’m pretty disappointed in this location. I told my waiter that my steak was overcooked, and he held the light up to my steak telling me that if you look into the very center it looks closer to a medium rare. This isn’t something that I’d expect from a different Ruth’s Chris. Furthermore, the drinks were just fine. I won’t be coming back here as the quality and service frankly don’t justify the price.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness at Ruth’s Chris in Addison did not meet expectations for a fine dining establishment. The dining room floors had visible debris, and several tables were not properly sanitized before seating. The restrooms were untidy, with overflowing trash bins and a noticeable lack of maintenance throughout the evening. Even the bar area felt unkempt, with sticky countertops and water-stained glassware that gave the impression of rushed or inconsistent cleaning practices. For a restaurant with such a strong brand and premium pricing, the lack of attention to cleanliness was disappointing and distracting. Ruth’s Chris is known for excellence, but this location needs to significantly improve its cleaning standards to match the quality of food and service guests expect.

I honestly don’t know where to start. My friend hosted her birthday dinner here on Saturday, and what began as a promising evening quickly went downhill. When our waiters introduced themselves, they set the expectation for great service and a pleasant experience. We were a party of ten seated at a long table, with each side assigned a different waiter. The waiter on my side, Ishmael, was phenomenal — upbeat, attentive, and proactive. He made great recommendations, handled every issue with professionalism, and immediately worked to make things right when something went wrong. Because of him and the manager, I’m giving this review two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, the service on the other side of the table, handled by a waiter named Anthony (I believe), was the complete opposite. Things went wrong from the start. When he asked if anyone had food allergies, the birthday girl (who was easy to identify — she was the only one wearing white) listed her allergies, including tomatoes and onions. Despite that, after a long wait, she was served a salad containing both. After politely sending it back, her second salad arrived — again with tomatoes and onions. When she reminded Anthony of her allergies, he rudely joked, “Well, you can’t eat any salad then, because it’s all vegetables.” Completely inappropriate. Another guest next to her never received her main course — only her side dishes, which sat until they were cold. When the manager came over, he immediately corrected the issue, brought her a fresh plate, and even allowed her to take home the sides she couldn’t enjoy. Later, another guest received her Brussels sprouts ice cold to the touch, which again required the manager’s attention. The difference between the service provided by Ishmael and Anthony was night and day. Anthony seemed distracted by a private party nearby and treated our table as an afterthought. When we needed anything, he responded with visible attitude. For example, when my friend asked for straws, instead of bringing them to each person, he tossed a handful in the middle of the table for us to pass around. Meanwhile, Ishmael delivered desserts for his side neatly packed in bags and handed each guest theirs individually, while Anthony’s side just received boxes — no bags, no care. We are a group of professional, respectful women who always tip generously — and we did so for Ishmael. Unfortunately, I got the impression that Anthony assumed otherwise, and it showed in his lack of effort. I wish I had caught the manager’s name because he did an excellent job of salvaging the evening. Thanks to him, my friend’s birthday wasn’t a total loss. However, Anthony’s behavior was unacceptable. If he cannot treat all guests with respect and kindness, perhaps this isn’t the right industry for him. As for the food — it was underwhelming. Several dishes lacked seasoning, and some weren’t served at the right temperature. A few guests said they enjoyed their steaks, but my salmon was just okay. The highlight of the night was definitely the drinks — they were delicious, and I regret not stopping by the bar to tip the bartender personally. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning. However, I do hope management addresses Anthony’s attitude and ensures all customers receive the same level of care and respect that Ishmael and the manager provided.

Ive been going to Ruths Chris for over a decade now and its so sad to see this place getting worse and worse over time. Had to wait roughly 20-30 minutes after my reservation and I would ask the receptionist how much longer every 10 minutes, since I would see others get seated as soon as they came in and she just kept saying "they are getting tables ready". After I was sat, I noticed at least 6 tables that were unoccupied. The food was not as good as it used to be, mashed potatoes were under seasoned and the steak was over seasoned. I would've given 1 star if it was not for my server, he did amazing and came to the table multiples times and made sure I was doing good the entire time but unfortunately this is the last time I visit Ruths Chris, its time to find another steakhouse to make my new go to steakhouse.

My wife and I dined at the Dallas location off of the Tollway with another couple to celebrate the upcoming birth of our first child. I ordered the $155 40oz Tomahawk which our waiter Ishmael told us was the biggest and BEST steak on the menu. He told us that when my steak comes out, that the manager would come out and personally cut my steak and make a presentation as to celebrate the purchase and us as customers. Chuck was the manager that night and our party was never acknowledged as he walked past us several times to tend to other parties. It wasn't until someone from our group mentioned it to our waiter that the manager finally came by and offered any celebratory service AFTER I had already began eating the steak. At this point I didn't really care anymore but our party insisted that management follow through with the service AS PROMISED which ended up being a very underwhelming experience anyways. Chuck seemed flustered, and fidgety for some reason. Maybe they were understaffed? Maybe he was new? Not sure. Food was good was that one incident was enough to put a damper on the entire experience.

We found seating at a bar table while waiting for the rest of our party, but unfortunately weren’t acknowledged by staff for over 15 minutes. When someone finally checked in and asked if we needed anything, we requested menus but never received them. Once our full party arrived, we waited an additional 10 minutes before being acknowledged again. A quick check-in to see whether we were waiting for a dining room table would have gone a long way. That said, the food was excellent, just as good, if not better, than the El Paso location. Steaks were cooked perfectly and flavors were spot-on, which really helped redeem the experience. Overall, amazing food as expected, but the initial service and communication could definitely be improved.

We waited 45 minutes to have the starter salad and finally received bread after asking 3 times. We had to move tables due to the extremely cold temperature of the room after literally sitting with jackets & gloves. The water glass at the new table was dirty with lipstick. Finally received our food. The food was cooked really well. Our drink order was only brought to the table after we asked it to be removed from our ticket. We even had a 30 minute wait to have the check done correctly. It was a long miserable evening.

And dirty silverware on the floor. This is not fine dining at its best or worst this was just another bad experience.

Our group recently hosted a large party event at this restaurant, and while the quality of the food was undeniably excellent, the overall experience was significantly overshadowed by poor customer service. We provided the restaurant ample notice to prepare for our group size, including sufficient time to staff appropriately for the event. Unfortunately, this preparation was not reflected in the service we received. There were substantial delays in food delivery, and when guests inquired—politely—about the status, the responses from certain staff members were unexpectedly crass and dismissive. One particularly concerning comment was a snarky remark stating, “We’ll have it out when it’s ready,” which set an unprofessional tone and made several guests feel uncomfortable. For a pre-planned large event, this level of disregard for guest experience was both surprising and disappointing. It is important to acknowledge that the culinary team did an exceptional job; the dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and enjoyed by everyone. However, memorable food cannot fully compensate for the lack of professionalism in service. This restaurant has strong potential given the quality of its menu, but meaningful improvements in staff training, communication, and customer service are necessary—especially when accommodating large groups. Until then, I would advise caution for anyone considering this venue for special events.

We came in for our 15th wedding anniversary and were very disappointed. The spicy shrimp appetizer we ordered were way too small to say the least. We both ordered Filets (one medium and one medium rare) that both came out rare after a long wait. Both finally came out rare and were sent back to be further cooked. We dealt with the hand we were dealt and ate the steaks that were again undercooked. We were informed a new cook was hired and newly hired had been brought in and several steaks had been sent back both that night and the previous night we were there as well as the previous night. I apologize to our server who took the brunt of a terrible meal. If you’re going to hire a new chef, make sure they cook the meat properly when sending out $300+ meals.

Update: received a call from corporate and they refunded our dinner. From my understanding they will not be changing their provider for halal steaks. What was supposed to be our 5th anniversary dinner ended up being an extremely disappointing experience. The positives Erin was an absolute gem of a server. She took excellent care of us throughout the evening, made thoughtful recommendations, and was very attentive to our dietary restrictions. Her service was the highlight of the night. The negatives Both my steak and my wife’s steak were incredibly tough. Truly like chewing rubber. We had called a week in advance to confirm whether the restaurant could accommodate a halal diet and both the manager and the chef personally called us to confirm our selections so we could enjoy our anniversary dinner with confidence. For 72 dollars per steak we were served what tasted like a select or choice grade cut. Not the USDA Prime beef clearly advertised on the menu. The menu states “Our perfected broiling method and seasoning techniques ensure each cut of USDA Prime beef we serve arrives cooked to perfection.” What we received was unquestionably not prime. While dining the manager stopped by and I asked whether halal steaks were sourced as prime or choice. He explained they simply go to a local butcher and purchase a halal steak when requested. Without addressing anything else he then walked away. If that is how they source halal, it raises the question of why our request required confirmation days in advance and why the quality was so far below what is advertised. When Erin cleared the table I casually mentioned how tough the steaks were and even picked a piece up just to show how tough it was. I also offered to recommend local butchers that carry higher quality halal beef. She immediately offered to involve a manager. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes the manager returned with a notepad asked for the butcher recommendations. The two I mentioned were Outpost 33 and Sara’s Market and Bakery which carry higher quality halal cuts. The manager then wished us a happy anniversary and walked away without an apology or any attempt to address the experience. To their credit they applied a 25 percent discount to a 244 dollar bill. While appreciated it did not even cover the cost of one steak. I had no intention of asking for a free meal. The tip we left Erin exceeded the discount. What we were hoping for was an acknowledgment or a genuine apology especially given this was a milestone anniversary. Call out to management If a restaurant advertises USDA Prime beef then that standard should apply to every guest regardless of dietary restrictions. If halal options cannot meet the same quality then that should be clearly disclosed before the meal not discovered after the bill arrives. Management had multiple opportunities to address this situation and chose not to. A simple apology and transparency would have gone a long way. Final thoughts Regular patrons may enjoy the food here but for individuals with dietary restrictions specifically halal I strongly recommend dining elsewhere. Quality transparency and accountability should be non negotiable in a restaurant that positions itself as a premium dining experience.

Im very disappointed with Ruth’s Chris Steak House! We went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Our steaks were not prepared correct to our order so the manager came to our table and instead of offering us a new steak he bought out 2 hot saucers to our table that he said were 500 degrees to put our steaks on so the steaks can cook to our desire AT OUR TABLE. HE RUINED OUR ANNIVERSARY!!! I was so in disbelief that he even suggested that! Keep in mind our tab was $230 soooo I expected better customer service. The steak was not seasoned and the experience was ruined due to his bad taste of service. We will never return. Our waitress Cynthia was GREAT by the way so we gave her a hardy tip. Don’t go it’s a complete waste of money and the food does not taste good enough for the high prices…your only paying for the name. 👎🏼
