I got there @3 PM on a Wednesday (MLK Day) not very busy. I dined in and took out.

My steak was SEASONED, juicy and tender, just about perfect. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and shrimp, she said that it was yummy! The young man that waited on us did not check on us AT ALL and was given a 3.5% gratuity for his VERY POOR effort, hopefully he got the message! 😆😂

Hey, just wanted to share what an absolute gem my server Keisha was. I came in with family and she served us in a very timely manner, communicated well and gave off radiant energy. Coming back only if I could put in requests I’d have her helping us out every time. 10/10!!!!!!!

First off Brandi is the coolest. Always happy and nice. My wife and I come in and everyone is friendly. Calvin the bartender is awesome and always makes sure to let us know all the specials. Finally the regulars are always friendly. I suggest boozin with Susan!

Wow. Greeted & seated very promptly. Bartender asked which seating i preferred. Loved that. Got my Boneless wings in under 10 minutes. Wanted extra pickles with my burger & fries. Got them. My drink? Never ran dry. Surprised by this as i only get water. Food was very hot when it came out 👍 Despite my server (Courtney, she’s amazing!) having 6 patrons at her bar, i was treated like i was the only customer. Very tended to, but never bothersome. Perfect amount of service 👌 All the servers were personable & high spirited. All the veggies were fresh & crisp! Always love this. Food tasted great. Solid portions, outstanding prices 🤯 I’ll be back & will tell friends to join.

was here during lunch rush, our server johnnny was on top of things. we were one of his 4-5 tables and he made sure we felt taken care of the whole time. food was delicious, and pretty speedy as well and the restaurant was clean. all in all a great experience, will be back.

Let me start off saying If he is not a manager this guy deserves to be!! — Johnny was absolutely incredible! He was the only server on the floor during a busy lunch rush, but you’d never know it from the way he handled everything with a smile and great energy. He recommended the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp and described the Butter Pecan Blondie so perfectly that we had to try it — and it was amazing! His attention to detail, friendly personality, and ability to keep up with the crowd made the whole experience stand out. Easily one of the best servers we’ve ever had!

Went today for lunch and had a very positive experience. Food was good, service was good and price was great. Restaurant was clean. It did take just a little longer than expected for the food to come out, but we were happy with what we ordered.

I love this Applebee's. My husband and I frequent here often. We love the 2 for $25 offer they currently have and usually stick to our usuals. The speed of service is a bit slow even when it's not busy, however we get our food quickly and it's always delicious! I love how calm it is during the afternoon. Most restaurants are usually super busy, loud, hectic. But this restaurant is generally chill and the waiters are also very kind and chill.

Went out for a dinner date with my husband and decided on Applebees for the $3 beers and Margaritas. Our server, Branden was amazing, very attentive and personable. We ordered a mixed drink the very first of our order....even asked the waitress again for it. We watched the bartender walk around getting other drinks and watching the TV. We got our food, finished it and five minutes later she came to the table saying it was ready and was going to bring it. We told her we didn't want it now because we were finished with our food. Looks it up in the computer. Well ok. It's $53. I said, do you know how easy it would have been to just walk on that $53? . Yes. . Good thing I'm an honest person. Who would have had to pay that if we walked? . Your server. . Lol, the hostess didn't ask me if I wanted to leave a tip, either. . So I look at it, server lost a $10 tip on a slow Tuesday, but didn't have to spring for the 53. The food was decent. The service.. potato in a well.

Stopped in tonight for a salad. The bar was full of people drinking but only four tables were eating. Our wait staff was nice and personable but the service overall was soooooooo slow. Took 10 minutes for drinks, 20 minutes for appetizer, 30 minutes or more to get entrees. 10 minutes for another drink. 10 minutes for our bill and “to go”cartons. Oriental Chicken Salad and Honey Glazed Chicken were pretty good.. but can’t get over the fact that it took 1-1/2 hrs to eat dinner here. At no time were they ever busy. Never had more than four tables eating.

Been in and out of here over the last 3 years and not a single thing has changed. Employee attitudes are poor to say the least. Quality of the food is eh at best. Hosts and barkeepers aren't attentive at all. Literally watched a group of 4 stand at the front waiting to be seated in an empty restaurant for 10 minutes before walking out while another group of 2 remained. Finally the barkeeper comes out and goes back to tell somebody is waiting and I let them know there was another group waiting but they may have left or sat down. He then proceeds to say oh well if they can't be patient it's not our problem. As a Restaurant Manager. It seems to me that management needs to be retrained and do some hiring events to cycle in people who can at minimum pretend to care about the brand.

I'm not one to do a fairly low review. But honestly, this was practically unedible. Cold quesso... over cooked steaks... terrible almost burned mashed potatoes. Longgggg wait to get the food. It was close. Not busy.... should have been our first hint. Hadn't eated at one in years and most likely won't again. Server was fine. No, i didn't say anything as it was a long day and if it took that long to get food, to return anything would have been that much longer. And no, they weren't busy. I thought perhaps maybe short in the kitchen. But regardless... I'm a lil surprised they are still open.

My son and I were sceptable about going in because the parking lot was empty and it was around lunch time and when we went in there was only 1 other customer an after we placed our order someone else came in the trio appetizers we ordered seemed like it was leftover the chicken nuggets were hard and inedible and the spinach dip wasn't hot or fresh everything seems as if was just reheated in the microwave our main course was not good we both just picked at it and only took a few bites the waiter saw that we needed to go boxes and offered to box up our appetizers at the table next to us I watched him pick up the chicken nuggets with his hands and as we were putting our main courses in a to go box I told my son what the waiter did my son don't worry about even though we are packing it up to go we were going to throw it in the trash anyway because it was disgusting we waisted 80 dllrs for nothing

First time at this location. I didn't pay attention to the cleanliness till after I stopped trying to eat my over salty cheese bits. They was extremely salty on the inside not the outside, so that could be from the supplier. They did take them off our bill, I was offered anything I wanted to replace them but the excessive salt made my stomach hurt. I was having a great evening with my husband, so I wasn't focused on some things at first. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. I started looking around while just sitting there. That is when I noticed the dirty window ledge and blinds. The waitress was very helpful, polite, and professional. The restaurant for a Friday night at dinner time was pretty empty. The parking lot is not the best for handicap people, kinda far from front door. We won't return to this location.

The food was mediocre. The service was okay. It was very apparent that our server was new. The place was practically empty and all the servers were huddled together chatting until one of them would see a patron looking around for there server. We were asked if we wanted to go drinks and we said yes for 2 because while we were there for 45 minutes we were only asked once if we needed refills which we declined as our glasses were still 3/4 full. The only reason we said yes to the to go drinks was because of this and the fact they charge 4 dollars for a soda. I was a bit upset to find that I had been charged for an extra soda and when asked about it was told they had to do that to get the to go drinks. Instead of arguing over it I just paid it and left. I did give the server a tip because we could tell she was trying. Just unfortunately I think she was just following everyone else's lead which is a shame.

The portion sizes were tiny for the price, even compared to fast food establishments. My wife's nachos had almost no cheese and were too cold to eat, she ordered from elsewhere after she attempted to eat them. On my sampler platter the mozzarella sticks were overcooked so badly they were inedible, and the quesadilla was a greasy mess. Wings were dry and overcooked.

Unfortunately, this was my first time here, and on top of the AC not working, it seemed the employees were also untrained. The server not providing the basics should've been a sign to get up and leave when other servers didn't acknowledge our presence either. No utensils were provided when we were seated. Thinking they did it differently here, we had to ask for utensils AFTER the food was delivered. No napkins, no straws (PS. The straws were wrapped with the napkins and utensils. When we asked for straws, she literally went some place to go get stand-alone straws!). Drinks ordered just sat at the bar warming up... employee unsure that non-brand sweetners are similar, and that they are not "out" if there's another option. Table hoping around after your request and then forgetting to complete the request, or pick up your drinks, etc... I'm not going to list all the server basics, but just think of the literal basics, and this experience failed on all ends and it had to be due to training. I'm left to believe this is completely the managers fault because the other servers were also just going through the motions, and I didn't see much hustle from the rest of the team. The food was good, so if that's all you need (and are ok with a long wait) you'll be ok. Otherwise, the management here needs to focus.

So it’s 11:08 pm on June 11, 2024 me and my sister just came out to get a bite to eat we came to Applebee’s in DENTON Texas off Teasley Lane. Not only were we not greeted upon arrival the bartender was so rude!!!! After the server took our order and we waited several minutes I went to the bar and asked if she could make the drinks stronger and she responded loudly and very animatedly said” YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THAT RIGHT” I responded I wouldn’t ask if I couldn’t afford it. When I tell u the smell in the building is that of a mildew aroma never have the lady attach make ur drinks and just know I’m not coming back

Waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. When we got a server I tried to make their job easier by ordering everything at once. 15 minutes later we got drinks. People sat after us got their food then about another 25 minutes later we finally got food. Food was overcooked and cold from sitting in the kitchen too long. Waiters were more interested in hanging out behind the bar with all the regulars. When we got our food, we had to wait a other 5 minutes to get silverware to even be able to eat. The music was super loud playing inappropriate music. Note the restaurant wasn't even half full so they can't blame it on being busy. If you can't run a restaurant any better than this just close your doors close this location.

Waited 10 minutes then was told it was going to be 30 more minutes to be seated. There was one large group of about 12 people. Other than that there was only roughly 8 other tables. A total wait time of 40 minutes to be seated when the restaurant in less than a quarter full is not something that should happen. There were at least 6 different waitstaff.

If I could rate this place ZERO stars I would. The service was absolutely terrible.. to start they were playing rap music curse words and all! The server was VERY RUDE DID NOT CARE AT ALL FOR HIS JOB.. there was No manger on the floor at all.. all there was little kids running the store. IF YOU CAN AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE DO you’d get better service at the convenience store! I

This is side Cesar salad at Applebees. 3 croutons & a sprinkle of cheese? I even had to pick up my order from the bartender, oddly. Maybe cuz its labor day they get a pass?! Ugh, no! Cuz, waiter told me one price over the phone & when I got there it was $12 more & 1 of our meals was missing! But over the phone you repeated the whole order back to me & told me a different price! Then the waiter blamed the whole mistake on us saying we asked her to separate the orders. Why would we do that as a family of 5 when 1 person is paying? She just wanted to cover herself so she wouldn't get in trouble for the order.

Our server at the time just kept forgetting everything, our drinks, food, you could smell the smoke 🚬 on him, and it was just disgusting to enjoy our food. Food took a while, and fries came out cold. On all you can eat, he said we weren't allowed to have fries with our order, but it clearly said endless fries. Our kiddos' food took long as he forgot to ring my kids' food and mine.

They overcharged me for my 2 for 25... I was charged 34 dollars instead...the food was okay but the drinks had no liquor in them and were not up to par....the bathroom smelled like an outdoor toilet

Just getting drinks can take a minimum of an hour. There are 2 bartenders, one stands around and just talks, the other one that actually works, is very slow. The kitchen doesn't seem to have any pride in their work, we got loaded waffle fries, and everything was just plopped in the center, with hardly any fries, for over 10 dollars. We didn't even get silverware, or napkins. The host that sat us seemed annoyed to do his job. They play music so loud we had to yell to hear eachother. The place was also pretty much empty, except for the bar regulars, who were the only people getting any service

Overall, its an applebees you don't come here for great food, but a 40 minute wait time after ordering is unacceptable. Ordered a steak medium rare and it came out as a tire. The only saving grace is the polite waitstaff that has to apologize for the long wait times and low quality preperation.

Place has really gone downhill. Used to be my favorite Applebee's, will not go back. Apparently there's been a big change in management, cooks, and especially servers. You may or may not get a drink, definitely won't get any refills. Most likely your order will be prepared incorrectly. Sad really, last two good Applebee's in the metroplex are Grapevine and Irving. Don't order online from this restaurant. I cancelled the order, they didn't refund my money, so I ended up with neither the order nor the money. I called several times, but nothing happened. Yesterday I ordered a steak and an Oreo milkshake. They delivered the steak, but not the milkshake. They promised to refund my money today, but they never did and never will.

Shame on you Applebee’s for calling them boneless wings!😡 They are nothing but hard fried dough. We order the appetizer trio and only good thing 9n it was the celery sticks. Thank goodness the server was nice.

Went here with my wife two nights in row, First night they messed up our order, but we had ordered to go didn’t Realize until we got home. Second night came back, hoping for a better experience, It only got worse when inside this time our order customer service was absolutely horrible, They messed up our order once again, After waiting After waiting for the fix, We requested, Just a small scoop of ice cream just because our ice cream had already melted while waiting, The bartender made that seem like it was a problem, and the only thing that would be fixed was their mistake . The manager finally made his way out We explained our issue, All he had To say “ You see something you say something”. would recommend going anywhere else.

Couldn't swap out a salad for a different type of lettuce. That's why no one is here and why you only need this 1 employee working as the bar tender, host, and server.

Ingredients were mostly out of stock. The two TVs visible from our table during NCAA football night were both not able to turn on. Rice tasted spoiled

I have never had a bad experience till today 05/04/25 I ordered the 2 for 34 with two side salads. My wives and I got the salads promptly…. Brought out by somebody that wasn’t our server. 30 minutes after the salads our food came out my steak that I ordered medium rare came out way too well done. So I asked the waitress to please bring it out correctly, even though she asked if I wanted to send the steak back and re cook it, like you can reverse an overcooked steak. And her and her manager did not give one single care in the world about me being disappointing in the service. The service was horrible but the bus boy and other guy that came and brought us our salads deserve a raise, that’s why I tipped them and not my server or the manager. I can’t even begin how to tell other customers how to avoid that combo of trash waitress and manager. I literally got treated like I was trying to scam them. I’ve tipped minimum at least 20 bucks to every good waitress I’ve had, but they treated me like trash. I would try to use whatever website your trying to get me to use but it’s way to complicated for leaving a bad review.

I came in and sat at the bar. Ordered a beer. Was never offered a menu or asked if I wanted to order food. Server completely ignored me after pouring my drink. I will never go to this restaurant again.

If I could give a zero star, I would went here two nights in a row both times they messed up my order, both times customer service was absolutely horrible. To go person gave me attitude and the manager came out and did not even try to make things better all he had to say was “if you see something say something” with absolutely no resolution. I would go anywhere else if you actually want good customer service and not waste your money on food that’s missing items. I requested fresh food, after waiting bartender acted like it was a problem. very upset and disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE. Spent $130 and got two to go orders also. They did not even give me one of the two. I got home and was missing half of it. I called the store and spoke to the employee who said she would have the manager refund me for the missing food. Never did or heard back from the manager. As well as the tables were nasty. My wife and I had to clean them ourselves. And when we walked in we stood there waiting for someone to help us for 3+ minutes while all the employees stood over at a table talking and staring at us. Will never go back.

This was all around a horrible experience from the moment we walked in the door til we left. Other People were even getting up and leaving in the middle of their meals. Food was just yuk. Feeding us burnt 25 cent chicken and changing 18 dollars for it. The non existent staff seemed new and everything took forever. This was just bad. I will never return to this location. Total disappointment

Extremely slow for a lunch time, 10 tables max of customers. Immediately sat, took 10 minutes to have our order taken, we did drinks, appetizer and entrees all at once. Took 11 minutes to get 2 of the "dirty" soft drinks and they were not even "dirty". Took another 21 minutes to get our appetizer. (32 minutes from when we ordered) Ranch sauce that came with it spilled over half of the quesodillas and wings and side of tray. Wrong sauced wings delivered as well. Took 8 minutes before we were checked on by presumably the manager. Ordered waters and extra Napkins. Took another 8 minutes to get those. An hour after we ordered, the manager was finally delivering our entrees, but one of the waters the delivered to us had a fly in it. Take from it what you will, but I am highly disappointed in this location from start to finish.

I had a disturbing experience picking up a to go order. I saw a server lick ranch from my sauce cup and place it in my bag. When she heard me react, she walked off and sent a different server to hand me the food. That alone tells me she knows she was wrong and this is not her first time doing something like this. This is a major sanitation violation and destroyed any trust I had in this location. Management needs to address this immediately.

Our server was great, he did his best. The management is awful. The heat was on so high that we had to undress our 5 month old. The manger was asked to turn the heat off.. she loudly complained and made a big show of going to turn it down. The heat never turned off. The food was horrible. The queso for the pretzel sticks was cold, sent it back came back cold again. The cheese sticks weren't melted, and the Alfredo sauce was full of powder like it wasn't completely dissolved. The bottom bun for the burger was soaking wet, you couldn't even pick it up because it was falling apart. We left all the food on the table. We paid and left. I didn't see any point in speaking with the manager after seeing her stomping her feet and throwing a fit like a toddler. I will NEVER go back.

We got sat and waited for about 10 mins for someone to greet us at our table, the host was our server, and no shame to her. I asked her if we had a server and she said our server is currently dealing with a difficult situation and would be over soon, she never came. I don’t blame the level of service on the girl who served us, I blame the manager of this Applebees, it’s honestly really embarrassing.

I had a very bad experience at this location. I ordered the chicken fajita roll up and after finishing one of the wraps I noticed a worm on one the pieces of lettuce that had fallen out. I don’t think they washed the lettuce, I have experienced a piece of hair but to see a worm on your food after you ate some is a terrible feeling. The staff needs to the take proper measurements to make sure the food is throughly washed and cleaned before they serve it out the public. I guess that’s why they say eat at home, you never know what you’re getting eating out.

Just horrible. I stopped in after work to wind down and it was not worth the stop. I sat at the bar top with my friends and we ordered the trio appetizers and margaritas with shots. Drinks took way too long since the bartender was busy with the females across from us and some of what appeared to be his buds. After I received my watered down margarita I asked for my shot. It arrived with bug floating in it and when I pointed it out, the guy merely put a straw in it, removed it and gave it back! 🤢🤢🤢 the mozzarella sticks were cold and the dip for the pretzels was too. I couldn’t find what appeared to be a manager except maybe one gentlemen who was eating in a quiet area. Topped with the overbearing music volume, this was not a good visit. Not worth my money AT ALL! 😡😡 I’ll pass on this place moving forward.

Complete crap. Forgot a whole entree and I had to wait for my pickup order. because of that, all of the other food was cold and soggy. Chose the "no pink" option on my burger, well that didn't happen.

Our Waitress had 3 tables at the time we were there, We saw her maybe 4 times~ Horrible Service!!!!! I tip according to Service and food, you got$1 The Bourbon Street chicken and Shrimp shows a Bed of Mushrooms and onion~ And you could not even see them under the chicken!!! Menu for it looked Amazing, but it was nothing like that. My Salad was Good, but hey it is a Salad. Sorry but we will trail to Roadhouse from now on!!!!

Waited on appetizer for 50 minutes then finally an hour later got our burger and fry that looked like a kids meal! It was so disappointing from what they usually do! Manager said they are having to cut down on food portions?! Waitress was very rude and brought us drinks we didn’t order then wanted us to pay for them !tried to charge us 3x what the bill should’ve been after all this tried to charge us full price for 1/2 price appetizer she recommended! I rarely do negative reviews but this was too much gone wrong! Only 4 -5 customers there so don’t understand why it took so long to get food so sad cause I loved this place…hopefully this is not the way they are now?
