Good, & all around on the HEALTHIER side, food! I LOVE their chicken: one can say "they ALL are the SAME", & be WRONG! Some are ABSOLUTELY DIRTY, some have AWFUL, DRIED OUT/BURNED chicken, not to mention HORRID staff! THIS place is NOTHING like that. I do wish they'd bring their DELICIOUS FLANS BACK to the menu, but I believe THAT'S a CORPORATE decision, not any individual store's.

I love the CrAZy ChiCKen... But sometimes I feel like the employee's are a little slow, like they sometimes repeat what I say 3 or 4 xs, like ... If your repeating what I ordered back to me and I say YES that is correct, why you ask me again, and again?

This place was complete renovated from the floor up. Not to crazy about the new log look, looks kinda gothic. But the food still awesome, most of the girls that worked there are Wilson students, are friendly, professional and cortious. Place always smells great, and clean. I'm Hispanic so I know about Mexican food, what is suppose to taste like, and let me tell you, their pinto beans and their version of Mexican rice FANTASTIC, they must have changed cooks or head chefs cause before let's just say, NO SABIA BUENO, I don't understand where people get the notion that in order to taste Hispanic food has to be saturated in the spice cumin. But if you what to eat good grill chicken and tasty try thus place you won't be disappointed, ooh and don't forget to take the fresh salsa, get the original I haven't try the other ones. ENJOY...Y BUEN PROVECHO FRIEND.

El pollo loco has new items on the menu!!!!! They have this shredded beef wrap that you dip into. Yummy yummy 😋 yummy! A verde poli like soup.. bomb and my get full fast for less is the chicken nachos 😋 one of my favorite spots again.

The food was great, hot moist delicious chicken!! I always enjoy the food especially at this particular location. The staff is always helpful and friendly, Im always greeted with kind words and a smiling face ready to help me get some delicious El Pollo Loco Chicken that Every Body Loves!!! My food was prepared correct and fast, everything I needed was included, I didn't even have to ask. The Salsa is always fresh and delicious, a nice addition to the wonderfully flavored chicken, perfect taco topper! I add shredded cheese to the mix when I get home and the Tacos are Super Delicious!! Thank you El Pollo Loco, for making dinner happy and easy!!! ;-)

The food is consistently good, but watch out for tiny wings.

The employees are always attentive and positive while moving quick so you do feel like you're at a fast casual sit down restaurant which is nice espcially if youre with the family or group of friends. Tables and floors have always looked clean, even the area around the store is well kept in a plaza that looks like its seen better days so the owners must take pride in their store. Beyond the atmosphere the food here hits that authentic taste with everything they have, the salsa bar is a star in itself in my opinion.

Food was great. I eat there a lot services always good. They accept food stamps. Drive-through is nice and quick and lobby is always clean.

This Pollo Loco is unique because of they have exceptionally good service. Their cooks are experienced, the staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the food ingredients are fresh. I have been attending this restaurant for over 2 years and I don't have a doubt you will get your money's worth. It does get very crowded during lunch hours.

Only draw back is that the parking lot is small and you can get locked in because the drive-thru. But service here is excellent. One of the best El Pollo location I go to.

The service was great but the the wings were horrible. What was given to me was foul. Half of them were burnt but over all were over cooked and dry. The service was great but the wings... was well look. Would you buy this again?

They have a very modern, upscale appearance and it looks very well maintained inside. My most recent visits have been in the middle of lunch rush and, oh, were they busy! I didn't wait more than a few minutes to order and by the time I had my drink, salsa, and napkins ready at my table, they called my name. Food was delicious and I left stuffed.

Lisseth Guevara is an exceptional employee. On two separate accounts, there was a mix-up with my order. I kept my receipts on hand and presented them to her with my concerns regarding missing items, and she took my complaint seriously after I explained the situation to her. She apologized for the misunderstanding and ensured that my next order wouldn't miss any tacos. True to her word, when I came in again yesterday for my order, she ensured that there were no mistakes. Both items i've had were very tasty, affordable, and everything was in huge portions! I'd say they're more than enough to fill up most people.

The only thing that bugs me about this particular location is that they Always forget something from my order - like a drink I've ordered, or salsa, or extra tortillas, or a side of beans. It's frustrating.

It was pretty good! There were 3 of us. Two had burritos, which we really enjoyed!! The third had some tacitos & he liked them too.

It's El Pollo Loco - if you've eaten at one, you've eaten at them all. Only thing that stopped a full five stars is that their service is touch and go. Sometimes on point and sometimes we've left with missing food. Bummer.

The food is good but some of the employees are rude. I understand sometimes it gets overwhelming on a Sunday afternoon but please don’t take it out on the customers. You’re damaging the restaurant’s image more than your own. Management should emphasize customer service in the next meeting.

The chicken tacos are pretty good, the shells are nice and crisp. It was my first time having them and I would order them again.

This is my neighborhood El Pollo Loco. I used to go there constantly when they had BBQ Black Bean burritos and corn on the cob. This time I ordered a chicken tostada with the chicken in the side (I'm vegetarian but my fur babies are not) and they got it wrong twice so I would give them five stars for the way they used to be but only four stars for this visit.

Most of the food is heart healthy. My criticism is that is time goes by the portion seem to get smaller! However I must say they do know how to cook chicken something I'm not good at.

I eat at el polo Loco all the time. One of the few fast food places my stomach enjoys. Most places suck, my stomach never lies.

With the recent remodel the interior is beautiful and it's clean much nicer than it used to be. The food here is great the staff is great the only concern I have is that most every time I go in there's always flies around the soda machines is rather annoying.

They have gone over the top for healthy fast food. Have you tried their chicken soup lately??? Bomb! Yes I want their old school fries back but thats just nostalgia... like drive=ins.

So far I’m happy with this location. Drive through is quick. I usually order through the app (better deals it seems) for pick up. Been here twice and both times they’ve gotten the order right on the money. Right amount of utensils and salsas(very important! As other locations usually cheap out). Will continue to come here as it’s really close to my new place.

Quick drive thru even during the busy afternoon lunch hour. The food is flavorful not highly seasoned (which I would prefer) but they do provide well seasoned salsa. I do have to keep in mind they are making meals for the masses. I love bargain prices and discounts. The food is inexpensive and they accept coupons. The restaurant is in a small strip mall so parking could be difficult but there is plenty of it.

Long wait in the evening due to pandemic..I'm guessing but also over priced. Example: my visit..they ran out of chicken breast that is included in my already extra pricey meal, so they substituted the breast with thigh meat ( which I hate)..so since I agreed to the substitution; you would think I would save a couple of cents, especially since I waited for my meal for 30 min inside of an over crowded lobby during a contaminated outbreak. Ugh

Typical chain location. The food was prepared well. Short wait. Friendly staff. Maintenance and cleanliness in the dinning area good. Restroom cleanliness was fair. Adequate parking and easy access from the main road.

Went to this place and it's like your other typical Pollo Loco. The lobby was a mess. Dirty tables and food all over the place. There where enough employees. The food was ok. I feel like they are getting scarcer with their servings. The salsa bar was fully stocked which was good. Not enough parking in the parking lot either. It's better to go thru drive thru.

What i typically order from here in a polo bowl and it never has a decent amount of chicken seems like its always skimp on the chicken even in the chicken nachos i ordered this specific visit but the burrito was good and you have to make sure to grab napkins because they dont put them in the bag

I love this Pollo loco I've been going here for years but today for some reason the chicken taste the salty the cashier took my order wrong I did not receive my sauces nor my tortillas had to drive back because that's what makes the chicken good there's salsa which is delicious overall I do like this Pollo loco it's cleaner than most of them I've been to

Went through the drive thru. It wasn't too long of a wait. But I ordered a BRC;beans, rice, and cheese,and there was a bit of chicken in my food. I'm a vegetarian, so I was a bit disappointed to have to look through the rest of my food. Luckily there was only that little bit. I did enjoy their ice tea, that was delicious. I'd be back for the tea.

I came here for burritos and tacos, but they discontinued the crunchy shells. Bummer, so I got soft shells instead. The only salsa I recomend here is the avocado salsa. None of the other salsas or pico have spice or authentic Mexican flavor. Staff was nice and fast.

The chicken is delicious, but once again my order is incorrect. For some reason, these people refuse to serve me pinto beans. I order a meal for 2, with pinto beans and broccoli, I get broccoli and rice. Last time I ordered a whole chicken with pintos and rice, they gave me black beans. Come on people! It's not that hard.

The place was recently remodeled. Looks great but it'd be nicer if they kept it clean. Their dining area is usually trashed. Not too much attention to that area. So far for me the food has been great. Service has been eh! One concern is the amount of mold build up in their soda diffusers and ice chute. Good way to get someone sick.

Food was fresh and good but they forgot my flour tortillas that I ordered on Anaheim LB and I was told classic salad was $16.50 but the charge came through as $18.50. They lost me!

The food was good as usual but this time around, the supervisor (don't know her name) took my order and never really looked in my general direction. Although she kept saying she was sorry for having to ask me to repeat because she was so busy laughing and talking to her coworkers. Didn't realize that she gave me the wrong drink until after I got home and ate. I'm one of those peeps that doesn't drink until after they finish eating. Ending the meal with their strawberry-lemonade is no high point. El Pollo Loco is good maybe even great in so many areas, but that stawberry-lemonade is not one of them.

First stopped in at the El Pollo Loco near the Diagnoal and Katella and quickly left, the place smelled like they were having plumbing problems, very sewery......But we really wanted El Pollo Local so we stopped off at the one on Anaheim Blvd at the corner of Redondo. Much much better,the place actually smelled like chicken ah grilling! So we stayed and had a nice tastey meal. I give thr Long Beach Ca El Pollo Loco on Rendondo and Anaheim 2 wings up!

Food is good. I really dislike this location. Every single time i come here they get my order wrong. Id eat here much more often if they could get orders right. Kinda disappointing.

Ordered a 4 piece dinner and a burrito. Ordered Classic Chicken Burrito w/o beans. All ordered to go. Classic Chicken prepared alarmingly small. Seriously! An item 25+ years on EPL menu was the smallest I have ever been served. About the size of a triple-a battery flashlight. Less than half the size of hundreds I've ordered before. Avoid Long Beach El Pollo Loco!!!!

I finally went back after 2 years of avoiding this location. They always get my order incorrect. This time was no different. The guy at the drive thru was apologetic when I informed him of one error (charged an extra hot chocolate) and he was able to correct it. But when I got home I realized my whole plate was incorrect and was missing another side. I wouldn't recommend using the drive thru do to this.

TO MANAGEMENT; Why every time I order a salad, your employees forget to give me dressing? I specifically told the young man at the drive thru not to forget the dressing for my dos locos taco salad. It’s happened so often I’ve decided it will be the last time I visit this location. Sunday about 2pm 3/6/22.

The drive through was aweful. There were only 2 cars when i arrived and it took 20 min to finally get my food at the window. On a slpw night on a Tue at 1030PM. Picked up from the drive thru window. Fast and friendly service. I had a chicken Chipotle Avocado Burger. They pack you generously sauces. The burrito was good, but nothing special.

Last night around 11pm. I used the drive through, she took half of my order and stopped talking, I went to the window to see what happened and to complete my order and get my food, no one opened the window. I had too leave, God knows what was happening inside.

The food was prepared horribly, chicken burnt and overcooked. Staff was very unprofessional, unfriendly, food thrown together, missing items that supposed to accompany the order. Over all very bad service. The location I was referring to is on 2nd Street , Long Beach Ca on 11/12 approx 3:00 pm.

You can do better !!! . This side of onions looks bigger In the picture. You can count how many diced onions are in the bag ! So disappointed 🤦🏻‍♀️ You want pico de Gallo they give you house salsa like we don’t know the difference.

Serenity and staff could not answer simple questions about health guidelines and safety after letting two customers with no mask order and interact closely with the staff. They do not care about the health of customers and needed to be trained or replaced by those who do care. If I something happens to me or my family, I will hold all the staff responsible for not encoring California covid guidelines. Edit: And I didn’t get any tortilla strips for my soup and I was pulling out chicken bones since the first bite. Do better.

Spat the food back out immediately. Waste of money. Quesadilla was drenched in onions, should be upfront about changes like this. All the good items were removed from the menu and everything else is a bad version of what they used to have before. Oh and there was barely any chicken might as well call it an Onion quesadilla. Utterly disgusting.

Food was not good. Tostada salad had old lettuce, taste was slightly off. Chicken Quesadilla had the amount of chicken compared to one chicken leg, (payed $6.29 for a leg) cilantro dressing was not creamy but chuncky..looked odd. Staff was good. But they should be.. when your getting paid to, it's not like everyone is there for free. So that not nearly good enough to change my rating.

Terrible service..the night manager rude... I ordered a three-piece meal with two sides and a dessert at the drive-thru when I got home it was just four pieces of half cooked chicken nothing else when I brought it back to .. so they could fix it they said you got more than what you paid for I told them that's not what I had ordered they took it to the manager she said she probably ate the rest and just wanted more very insulting rude very unprofessional never patronize that restaurant again ever

Once again, food not in the bag. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to do this job. Too bad I had to give one star. It’s something about this particular store which has never happened at any of the others I’ve gone to. Maybe you should send your staff elsewhere to learn how to read an order and pack a bag.

Store on willow and long beach Blvd Had the worst experience tried ordering an offer from pollo loco app and cashier didn't know how to redeem it a guy name Alex said he was the manager so I tried speaking to him and he walked away from me and didn't apalagise I asked him for corporates number he reply u can find it on line .

Horrible customer service. After being charged was told they didn’t have regular drink cups; cashier made it seem like he was doing a favor by giving me a large cup. Restroom had no toilet paper, the tables were dirty. Foot traffic was medium, not really busy for them to act like they are overwhelmed by orders. First and last time at this location.

My family ordered online for takeout and the line was ridiculously long.They closed earlier than they advertised. I had to leave without my order. We asked the manager for a refund and she scolded us and said, "Do it on the app." I asked her to explain how and she dismissed us. Very rude and still no resolution. I want my money back.

I ordered a kids meal with the 2 legs and side and they gave my child a burned charred leg. Like really?!

slowest drive-up service I have EVER had in my life!! They averaged 4 minutes per car just to get to the window to order. When I drove around the corner there was only one car waiting at the service window so once the food was ordered apparently the meal was prepared quickly. What is up with this? One order should take 1 minute on average, 2 if you have a difficult customer. Not stopping here again.

Ordered the chicken and shrimp fit bowl and only got like 5 shrimps no chicken. I called to ask about it and the guy that answered said he was sure I ordered just shrimp. I said no I’m pretty sure I ordered the CHK and shrimp bowl and he said it again. He then proceeded to take an order in person and completely ignored me. I just hung up.

I just asked the cashier (149 Mashaseen) in the drive thru that I wanted juicy chicken for the half chicken meal I ordered. So I drive all the way home to find out my half chicken meal HAS OLD DRY AND HARD CHICKEN THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY LEFT ON THE GRILL FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. Why would I pay full price for dry shrivelled up hard chicken ? I made it a specific choice to go to this location. What a mistake. Old dry shrivelled up hard chicken , Shouldn't be given out period to customers ! And if it does cut the dang price! Ruined my night because guess what ? I'm not going to drive all the way back. The service was excellent food horrible.
