La Revancha

Chile Rellenos are my go to platter for the dinner dishes they have to offer. They have fresh squeezed juices and adult beverages. It's very authentic and anytime of the day is the perfect time to have a taco a burrito or even a torta.

This was really good authentic Mexican food , all the right spices and all the right flavors.

Ok, there tacos are awesome sauce, a friend of mine, took me here. I knew that this place was here, but I'd never thought about actually eating something from there!!! Awesome place, awesome.

My local taco spot. If you like tacos de lengua (beef tongue) this is a solid place to get it. They aren't overly greasy or mushy, solid texture. Bring cash!

I've been here twice and loved it both times. My favorite thing on the menu so far is the garlic short rib fries. They are literally so mouthwateringly amazing. The meat is tender and the fat just melts in your mouth. Everything has a delicious garlic flavor that isn't overpowering. The aioli? they served with it wasn't my favorite but my husband liked it okay. The fries are nice and thick which is perfect. Their service was fast and super attentive. We were on the patio and they still made sure to check on us multiple times. I'll for sure be back again.

This is so a hidden gem. We stumbled on this place because of google. It had high ratings so we gave it try. The service is AMAZING food just as good. They have so many yummy items to chose from. I have to go back to get try more.

This place is great! The food is soo yummy i frequent here a lot even tho I have closer restu near my house. I suggest trying the torta de asada, the quesabirria fries or tacos, the menudo, and the molcajete. The parking is a little difficult but they always give suggestions where to park! The service is always nice too.

Great food, amazing service. Best service I have had in a very long time. The chicken soup on a scale of 1 to 10 definitely a 10. The shrimp ceviche tostadas were thee best, very fresh and I loved them! Very clean as well. Just great all around and excellent prices. I highly highly recommend this restaurant.

Best in Long Beach! When people say their visiting LB or Cali, I always recommend La Revancha. Every time I'm in town I must stop and grab a quick bite. Usually it's the burrito, tacos, or a quesadilla but there's MUCH more on the menu and even some new vegetarian options. The food is delicious, the portions are big, and the service always excellent.

I should have been here yesterday! I don’t know if I was super hungry or what because I couldn’t get enough lol The flavor was amazing! I ordered Birria meat and a Mocajete 10/10 in my book. Oh also, they have HANDMADE TORTILLAS!! I switched from canola oil and sunflower oil a couple months ago so this spot is truly a blessing for me. I get to enjoy authentic Mexican food but better! I definitely will be back again with my family. Also the waitress was super helpful and kind answering all my questions!

Our first time we got chips and guacamole, Horchata and a Michelada to start. I got a two sauce wet burrito, and my friends got different fish tacos. When we returned it was a little earlier in the day and I got the Huevos con Nopales, served with fresh tortillas, my friend got huevos rancheros (which he declared to be the best he's had in California), and my other friend had a breakfast burrito which he actually wasn't able to finish due to the generous portion. Each day we went here we weren't hungry again until the late evening!

They had a solid menu that worked for everyone And as a vegetarian i was happy they had more then a few options for me as well. The staff was very friendly and personable as well. If I was a local this would be my go to spot.

Very good authentic Mexican food. The best part is that they're open late and you can dine in late night. There is parking available on the front and sides of the restaurant and I believe they do have their own security. Long Beach PD is always here grabbing a bite to eat.

This is a great place to go late at night after I've been partying at Alex's Bar or Black Light District. They've got all the Mexican staples, but I have to admit my memory is a little fuzzy on exactly what I get. I just know that I always end up here after Alex's, and look forward to it. Good food and the servers are always friendly to the borrachos who come stumbling in late at night.

The best part is they stay open very late, I think 3am? Street tacos ate authentic, just right. I think this is a cash only place, so be prepared with cash.

I ordered a chicken Taquito appetizer, and I said make sure there's nothing spicy: no jalapeno, no pico de gallo, no salsa, etc. I drove down to the beach and it was covered in Pico de gallo and a side of Green chile sauce. Once I picked all of the jalapeno out, it tasted great.

This cash only place is actually very good, oddly on a very busy street with no parking available other than street parking. Makes it difficult to get to, on top of a very visual deficient store front and the added $5 ATM fee makes this gem in the ruff more trouble than good. But if you can jump its hurdles then you'll find a very tasty very well worth meal.

The food is really good. This place should be packed and we are the only ones here. The carnitas is moist and flavorful and they also have vegan options. Service needs improvement.

I really want to love this place because when it's good, it's great. The problem is that it's so inconsistent that you never know if you're going to get a great meal or a meal that's inedible.

Ordered two micheladas with a Tecate and the lady used one can for two big glasses. 😑. Then when we asked for a little more clamato, she told us that she has to charge us for it. Like really? Awful place to go grab a drink.
