My boyfriend and I came here for dinner a few nights ago and were seated right away. Nicole was our server and she was phenomenal! She was kind, attentive and friendly. Our orders were taken promptly and served without much wait time. We had chicken wontons to start (they were delicious!). My boyfriend had ribs and I had the quesadilla cheeseburger, both great choices!

Celebrated my 9 y.o. tournament win with the family. Food was good, and special orders actually came out right the 1st time! Our server Brice was engaging, responsive and helpful when we had an issue paying the bill using the table side device. We go to Applebee's every couple of months for 1 reason or another, and this location is by far consistently one of the best.

I came to Applebees the other day and I had an amazing bartender named Trish from the time I walked into the establishment she made my time there amazing! She really needs a promotion or a raise because she really tends to the needs of others and makes sure that everything that you order is on point. So that being said I will definitely be back again and hopefully she will be my bartender again .

I’m a frequent patron of this Applebees and I’ve made it my duty to only visit when I know Trish is on duty either as a server or a bartender. For over a year her service has been top notch. Very polite and friendly and never has you waiting for your food or drinks. Such a lovely young lady to the point I’ve told my friends and family to always request to be in her section whenever they visit. They should hire more people like her and get rid of the ratchedness that they sometimes have on duty. If you ever visit on weekends ask for Trish you won’t be disappointed.

It was honestly such a nice place. We got seated quickly. The food was great. The worker was lovely, her name is Keyoshia W. She was really sweet when we asked her if we could move our seats. The atmosphere was nice. We got 2 strawberry lemonades and 1 strawberry banana smoothie. Usually the lemonades are too strong but this one was just right. The wings where good and so was everything else. Would 100% come again.

Comfortable, cozy environment with tasty reasonable priced selections

So we stopped in on Saturday April 1st. Around 12ish. The four of us all ordered burgers. An extra crispy fries. I have to say whoever was cooking that day did a superb job. Cooked to perfection. Fries hot n crispy. Excellent table service.

They have done a great Job with upgrading the menu. I was pleasantly surprised!! I cannot give 5 stars because in my opinion the waitress forgot about us...That means once the plates were served, she disappeared (literally) until she thought we should be ready to leave (I assume) Some food was left and some was bagged things that were needed to enjoy the meal just came too late! I wrote a Tip on a Dollar Bill - Check on the customers routinely!

I have found the food here to be better than at other Applebee's locations. We were seated quickly and our server, Lisa was pleasant and courteous. Our food came quickly and was decent. The fries were delicious, but the cheeseburger was a bit dry and needed ketchup to give it some flavor. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. 👍

Red Lobster was my last minute go-to for consistency and those amazing baked bread biscuits but now it's Applebee's for the price and drinks! We go to this Applebee's before going to the Islanders games at UBS. It is decorated with pictures of the local high school and college sports teams as well as pictures of local police and firefighters which I appreciate. When we go it's usually happy hour and we are able to get happy hour pricing of we sit at a booth in the bar area or at a table in the dining Room. We have never had a 'bad' server but of course some are better than others. The food is always consistent and Applebee's always seem to have some some gererous promotion going on to make the meal more affordable. The food is tasty and the drinks are cold, what more could you ask for. There is also always a manager visible during our visits. It can get crowded even at the bar but the crowd seems like all great people who just want to enjoy a beer and a burger etc.

Great appetizers usually good service. If you're looking for cheap tasty meal come here I usually stick to boneless wings and chips and dip.

Food really isn't that good any more. Server didn't ask if we had any food allergies, the menu wasnt very clear either and one of the dishes we ordered had an endless amount of mushrooms. They were kind enough to exchange and replace it with something else. It took a very long time to get our drinks, appetizers and entrees. It didn't seem that busy to me, but maybe I expect too much.

I've been here a few times over the past couple months, it's different every time and I pretty much order the same thing. Sometimes you will be serviced quickly and sometimes you won't. I stick to the burgers and wings because they typically are good. Mostly see people at the bar area but they always sit us in the middle area.

Nice place, prices have gone up very high without an increase in quality or quantity. Drinks are very weak. Way to much ice in my opinion watered down drink anyways. The food came in a untimely manner. With the break your teeth onion rings,so hard that I have a dentist appointment due to my broken front tooth🙄😱😡. Adding Sweet potato fries would be a better improvement. Checking on the orders. This would help get the food to customers hot instead of having to eat fast,before it gets cold.

We choose this location as most others places close early in this area. However we got there and they weren't seating anyone because of a water flooding issue. Normally I would not rate a place I didn't eat in, but being turned away at the door deserves some sort of rating.

I really wanted to write a excellent review for this restaurant, however there was a issue with our food and we waited a really long time to get served however the manager did come and make it right...but the food was not really up to par, my rice was cool, the 2 family members with me had very dry cold steak and they didn't deliver us all the utensils we needed and made us feel somewhat unwelcome because no one really stopped thru to make sure we were ok and the manager did not give us eye contact for the rest of the night. The manager tried to make it right however and I do find that commendable But then how he treated us after he tried to make it right kinda negated the good effort because we needed stuff and no one would stop at our table!!! I know my uncle was a little upset but that didn't mean stay away for the rest of our visit to the restaurant. Like I said before though I did appreciate the managers efforts.

Local spot that offers standard bar food. I've been coming here for years. The menu has a lot of options and the food is good. Prices are a little high compared to other entrée prices at other restaurants. Their drinks are good, though. I mean, is it the best food? No. But it's convenient, fast, clean with a friendly environment.

This review is based on their delivery: the delivery guy did not bother to call my cell nor knock my door and left the bag outside my door. after contacting doordash, they told me to check outside my door. 4 mozarella sticks?? Seriously? This review is just getting an okay because the other foods I ordered was okay..but that's literally it.

Had a great time except I had 3 different servers instead of 1, The male server who took my order misunderstood and I had to wait additional time for my food, then I lost appetite and took my food home with me... Normally I don't complain but today was one of those days. The prices how ever are very doable especially for drinks 🍸

The service was extremely slow from the very beginning. We waited 10 minutes to be seated despite many available tables, as no one was at the front to greet customers or guide them to their seats. Once seated, the service remained slow — we waited 25 minutes for our food and another 15 minutes just to pay. Overall, the service was disappointingly sluggish.

It appears that this Applebee's is under new management again. Perhaps they should Start hanging the manager's photo at the door. Although there was only one person working the take out area the young man seemed to be doing a great job at taking orders from all the walk-ins as well as the Uber/door dash...etc orders.. the only down side is when the manager saw the line growing he didn't check if the young man could use any assistance. This would have made customers feel better about the business... However the manager was helping with tables.

Learning experience. Sat down to eat with a friend. Ordered 2 cups of coffee and 2 soups. Coffee was brought to the table by a different employee who carried the 2 cups without saucers and dropped 4 creamers out of her hand on to the table. The server then began to pressure my friend and I as to whether we we're going to order anything else. Several times we told her that we would start with the soups. That answer was not enough to stop the badgering so I finally asked the young lady of we could have spoons for our coffees, could we start there. Exactly ONE spoon was brought to the table...a long dessert spoon at that. So it was time to speak to the manager. Who was a delight and we appreciated him. There were more mishaps with the service and servers and any tip was directly for the manager and his assistance.

Bartender took forever to make my drink and my daughter's milkshake my steak that I ordered with the shrimp and Parmesan was extremely salty and that took forever to be remade. The server didn't bring all the food out at the same time so each of us was eating a different times I had to keep asking for different items that were supposed to be on the table when we was seated. No water was offered. My daughter ordered the chicken and shrimp fajita trio mix that came with the rice. The rice was hard and the tortillas was extremely hard also.. I have always loved Applebee's but this one I would not recommend

Food is often bland. Also, when I have ordered from Uber eats, no option to purchase extra mexi-ranch. They only have the option for purchase of one sauce flavor: Hot Honey Glaze. Please fix this!

Hostess didn't greet us with any sign of good customer service skills. Prime beef meat inside sandwich tasted old, not made fresh. Sauce was sooo salty, could cause high blood pressure. I won't patronize this place ever again.

We went to this location on a Saturday evening. Drinks were good and cheap. The food was not good. Our appetizers were served cold. We also ordered riblets and fries that were cold and tasted awful. We sat at the bar during our meal. The first bartender was attentive but since she didn’t make eye contact I really couldn’t tell if she was listening to what I was ordering. The second bartender confirmed our drinks for bottled beer and then we had to wait quite a bit and thought she forgot the order but turns out it was “coming from the back”. Weird that it wasn’t already at the bar and that it took long to get a bottled beer. Also bottles and glasses were super sticky. Very annoying.

Have not eaten at Applebee's in 16 or so years. The food quality has declined badly. It was mid week, I wanted something quick but healthier than the fast food option. Opted for the mashed potato and grilled chicken breast. They were out of broccoli but offered garlic green beans. The chicken breats was dry? As if it has been cooked and sitting. It was also semi cold. How do you mess up mashed potatoes?? It was good 15 years ago..who's idea was it to change it. The server was great! He had little to work with and that was not his fault.

The staff is really laid back even when it gets busy, we sat down there for almost 20 mins to get served, we called the server who was walking by to just get a glass of water as we were walking. By far this has been the WORST location I’ve ever been to. To start my waitress didn’t greet us with her name, smile or anything. Second she took about 20 minutes to take our order and had the never to have an attitude. Then when the food finally came, she threw it on the table. The food was TERRIBLE. Went here yesterday, a Thursday for a quick bite before a hockey game. My son & I walked in, we were finally seated in a booth after watching the hostess fumble around looking for menus. Ten mins later the bartender Betsy made a full display in front of us after she was told she had a table. She made faces of disgust and screamed “I can’t take them!” before coming to our table and telling us she would be back in ten minutes. I told her we had already been there for ten minutes and asked if we could sit somewhere else. She said no, rolled her eyes, gave us another excuse and walked away. Now, I could understand if it was busy but the place had three tables and an empty bar. The manager was wondering around completely unaware of what was going on. In fact he had a clipboard and had time to go outside and check the landscaping but didn’t pay attention to guests. Two hostesses standing around talking and another employee pretending to sweep the floor. Another ten minutes passed with no service so we decided to leave. No excuse for this! Extremely disappointing experience!

I've been to this establishment multiple times, every time I go, the experience is worse than the last time, and I regret the decision. The staff isn't attentive, and very cavalier/indifferent about their jobs. The last time I went there, I called the restaurant to ask when they accepted the last guest, my party and i came 20 mins before that deadline. The staff acted as if we were an inconvenience, and refused to seat us. After the manager got involved they sat us. But the servers refused to serve us, said the hostess once we questioned as to why it was taking so long for someone to take our order. The manager once again got involved and that's when someone took our order. The waitress gave us attitude, and my party and I heard the bartender slandering, and verbally disrespecting the table because we came in so late. We sat there stunned. But i refused to order, because i felt so unwelcomed, but the rest of the party ordered. The restaurant wasn't even closed, the staff would have to be there regardless. It gets worst. The food comes and its cold, and one of my friends had unknown things in her fries. All the drinks have hair, and lint pieces in them, and the portions are smaller than usual. It was a decisive attack against out party. They intentionally did this. So I called the manager over. He Brushed it off, and offered us new drinks, and said the workers were tired and we should pity them. It was a terrible experience and I will never never ever return to any Applebee's. And yes, I did contact corporate. Definitely go to a different Applebee's if you're considering that one.

My waitress was sweet and bubbly. But the wait on our meal was absolutely ridiculous well over 1 hour wait then when my family received it.. Omg just disgusting. No flavor and not hot. Looked like it was just thrown on a plate. The restaurants excuse was it is really busy. If I had waited that long at least serve decent food. This wasn't my first time there but made the decision to NOT return. It isn't worth it at all.

Just to start I have been to this Applebee's before, and the service was great, however went there this evening after 6pm, was greeted and seated. While there waiting, to be introduce to our server, I pulled out my phone and proceeded to show some pics about what dress I should purchase for an upcoming event. As I went through what seem like pages and pages of various dresses, we began to realize that a female server was in the area that we were seated at and kept passing by our table to assist other customers, some whom were directly across from us and others who were in other directions. At no point did she make eye contact with us, she just kept passing us as if we weren't there. At this point we were feeling as if we were invisible and I was quite hungry at the time. We started to get restless and was trying to figure out who would be our server, who was coming to help us with our order. As we spoke quietly to each other the female server casually asked if no one came to serve us, to which one of us reply no. She said nothing else after that and continue to go on about her business. The greeter was walking back and forth eating snacks out of one the napkins, he did not say anything to us either. At this point we got up and left. There was no need to stay were you weren't being helped. We proceeded to the next Applebee's located at Green Acres mall. You should check them out you won't be disappointed.

Let me start by saying when I go to restaurants, I'm prepared to leave a very nice tip. I know they don't make much money, so I like to leave a nice cash tip. The waitress was the worst! I asked for Krispy fries instead of saying OK she said, "I got you." When my fries came out, they were not crispy I had to send them back. We were finished with our appetizer plates. I set them at the tip of the table so the waitress or someone could take them. The waitress came back she She took our food order. And left all the plates on the table. When the food came out there was no room to put the food because our appetizer plate was still there. I've finished my terrible drink. That empty glass was set at the end of the table. The lady never even asked me if I wanted another drink. I understand you hire young people. Maybe they should be trained better in customer service.

Waited 15 mins for water and 20 mins between anything else we needed. she was nowhere to be found very Inattentive and no it was not packed by any means. Last straw was I had to get up and go find her to pay the bill and when I asked for a side of ranch for my WINGS that I was taking home, she had the audacity to charge for it. I thought that was real ballsy after the really bad service.

The salad was watery, the salmon was rubbery, and our waitress was lacking (didn’t take dirty dishes when delivering new food, didn’t ask how anything was, didn’t know what was part of meal, had an attitude from the moment she came to our table). When we provided feedback at the end when the waitress finally came by, they brought a free appetizer card in lieu of 40$ of bad food and the manager wouldn’t come over until we had to ask again for him after waiting over 10 minutes. He took our receipts and said sorry sheepishly. We were here last week with a completely different experience, food and waitress. Clearly this restaurant can’t deliver consistently. The only thing excellent both times was the hostess.

Went there for my birthday and the female who sat us (party of 2) walked us to the very back of the restaurant when there were empty booths! We both have walking canes and the restaurant was not crowded with an abundance of seats. We had requested a booth. We walked out when she sat other customers in the booths which we requested! This place absolutely sucks! I love Applebee's however this location is pure trash. I came here once before and had a suckish experience, and the manager attempted to be nice and polite and give my husband and I free dessert, and so we let it go that one time. However we returned for a second attempt and it was insult upon injury we went to the door and were crammed in like hen and cages waiting and hoping to get some sort of an attention from the Host on duty. There were at least another 9 people there doing the same besides my husband and I. They have a special of appetizers at half price after 10:00 p.m. I walk in there at 10:20 p.m. and realize that the people before me were told 5 minutes, been 20 minutes later we're still waiting. The tablet that the host is supposed to have is sitting there plopped on a desk with children's menus and absolutely no service in the middle of a "special” hour. AWFUL HORRIBLE SERVICE IS ALL I CAN SAY. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS DUMPSTER. DRIVE A LITTLE FURTHER OUT AND GO TO EITHER BALDWIN OR ROOSEVELT FIELD MALL LOCATION. THEY ARE SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. 👎👎

If you want awesome food, great drinks and superb service. ...don't go here!!!! I've tried numerous times to give this place a chance but time and time again they always let me down. Now who ever trained these servers and cooks need to be trained themselves. Bartenders can't get drinks right...servers seem not to care that you actually want to order nor do they check on you. The food.....forget about it....I know it's not a 5 star restaurant but come on...save your money and drive down the turnpike and go to the diner Update ...2/5/25.....still the worst place to eat...sat at the bar 20 mins to get a menu...food cold, seltzer water flater that regular water...never asked if I needed anything...got a classic sample platter with 1 piece of celery...one!! Lol...the place was damn near empty and still all servers walked around like it was a busy day....it was 1pm

Just plain nasty!! I ordered my steak well done 🤬 this is not even cooked it basically missing the heartbeat! I’m so upset then when I said I would go up there and pick up a new one the manager told me I had to go thru Uber🤬 I cancelled the whole order horrible customer service😡 the transferred me 4 times before getting me to the manager i am annoyed

Staffs are very rude . There was this waiter (black male) with red shirt on he was acting like we burden as he didn’t want to serve us . He was busy flirting with two girls sitting by the glasses . He gave us a menu and walked away and never came back to take our order and there was a lady at the bar she didn’t even bother checking up on us . Meanwhile we stood up few time looking for the waiter and he finally decided to walk toward us and yes he turned away and disappeared. We waited with empty stomach over 30 minutes and decided to walkway . Over all really a horrible experience and by far this the worst apple bees experience I had . I hope my comments reaches the attention of the management and they do something about it…

From the moment we walked in there was no greeter nor anyone to sit us down. After a few minutes finally someone appeared. We ordered and after 30 min the food arrived looking like it was sitting for a while. The food was overpriced, not matching the prize on the menu. And the worst part my daughter ended up throwing up the next morning and missing school causing me to miss work and creating a huge inconvenience. I will never again go to that place unless there’s new management.

What a horrible experience tonight , I was told by Applebees manager tonight that his workers are too tired and he had only TWO PEOPLE WORKING and that I basically had to leave !!! Something completely unheard of especially since 10 starts half off apps. He offered no incentive .. just a sorry and get out basically . Highly disappointed, how could you turn away paying customers because you did terrible management

Visited this location and brought to the attention of the manager 2 special veteran gift cards only of a nominal value that Applebees pride themselves on each year on Veterans Day. I explained the cards were issued on Veterans Day which I had in hand and told the manager they expired and did not last even 30 days for use which obviously was a small window to redeem them. This became the nature of the inquiry. Why did the cards expire so soon? I was not helped; nothing I can do was all I was told and he’s the manager, he says. I asked if there was a corporate office I can contact. There was no help there either, an implied “no.” Clearly I can’t rate this place as being managed properly and letting All Veterans know that this location can’t be recommended next Veterans Day as there was no willingness to help or even address a simple issue that was related to veterans.

I came for the specials after work, but no one assisted me. I sat down and was only given a menu. I ordered an item I thought was $9.99, but later learned that only the item on the cover was $9.99. I wasn't even checked on. If I could have ordered from an app, I would have received better service. This level of service is unacceptable. While I understand you may be serving multiple tables, I'm a paying customer deserving of attention like everyone else. The fries weren’t hot and tasted old. I wasn’t offered any water or a refill. The only thing I was asked was “would you like anything else,” while she stood by the register to close out my order.

I walked in at approximately 9:28pm on 1/6/2025 the applebees in elmont on hempsted turnpike. No greater which was fine not a big deal But the bartenders attitude was very unprofessional its almost as if she was mad i sat at the bar. She only had two customers i am by myself her whole Mood was just off never greated me eventually walked over and handed me a menu. I asked her a question about a drink on the menu she just nodded her head i was so confused as if she couldn’t speak or just chose not too. Ive never felt so humiliated i got up and walked out i come to this applebees alot & many others never had a bartender like this. Very unprofessional

9 open tables and the entire bar is open and they said a 40min wait.

The worst experience I have. I ordered the 28٠00 dollar 8 oz steak, they brought my less than 5 oz, no bread basket, asked for salt and pepper, they brought small packets like in a deli, when I voiced my concerns to the manager, she was soooo rude, and said this is the business I am running, . Threw the receipt on the table and walked like a peacock. You could always go to a nice steakhouse across the street, get better food, better service. And they are wondering why they are going under.

This is how my French fries came with my burger , disgusting they have no care about what they serve you , zoom in and look at the miscellaneous burnt fries with in , and yes i paid my bill and still tip , they need to have comp the meal what a turn off , didnt touch the fries at all !

Horrible service!!! Do not come here! We sat for 40 minutes with no updates. I walked up to the server and she said she didn't forget and told us to give her 5 minutes which ended up being around 20. We saw ppl being seated ahead of us and that was the final straw. Do better management and staff

We went on November 6th 20:25 for my father-in-law's birthday first off the receptionist was very rude we waited 15 to 20 minutes before we got a waitress to come to our table waitress was very nice, we asked her if it was possible to sing Happy Birthday for my father-in-law with a dessert she came back I told us that no one wanted to sing and that it was impossible to get any of the other workers to help this is why I'm giving one star I will never go to the neighborhood Applebee's that I literally live 5 minutes from The waitress was the only kind person in there

Went to this Applebees on Halloween and the service was horrible…. My server paola or (what we her name is it starts with a P) she was very very rude. U can tell she don’t like her job or something. She barely came to my table, i had to go get my own drinks and we waited over 45 mins for apps to come out which came out after the meals… and to top it all off there was a hair in my child’s food… will never go back.. the manager Jermaine was amazing he handled it very well. Service just went downhill at this Applebees.

Horrible horrible horrible service here this place needs to be reported to corporate theres clearly no management you walk in everyone looms at you like if you have three heads, what type of restaurant doesn't have a host in the front to greet! The place was dead dead for a Saturday night i placed a togo order at 8:38pm, APPLEBEES APP SAID ORDER WAS READY 9:03 i arrive at 9:04 i have to BOTHER it seems a waiter to direct me where to go theres already ppl waiting for their orders it took 20 minutes for someone to finally come up and even acknowledge i was there, the lady next to me said she was there from 8:40 and it was already 9:11pm and get this….when the waitress finally came the food was already ready down below behind the corner, so they had us standing there for 20 minutes maybe even longer looking like idiots. Oh and they tell me at the end they didn't what i had order(not a big deal) but cmon…i ordered shrimp for a app and they out 5 shrimp in the container..

Yesterday afternoon we went to our local Applebees. We like the food and since it was my daughter's graduation she wanted the burger from here. We waited by the entrance for about 10 minutes for someone to come and asked if we needed a table. It was not as busy as it usually is. We come here often. The gentlemen came back 2 minutes later to sit us down. Before we even sat the waitress for that section raised her voice to him and SAID she was not taking more tables and she will not be taking this one either. She had a big table "she was not done with it yet" and that another waitress (she mentioned a name) "had not been taking any tables". After that loud exchange of words between them. She said "I am not doing this in front of customers". Mind you she is the one that yelled at the guy first and was having a fit. We sat down and I looked at the time since I had a feeling service was going to be questionable. 1:51 we sat down, she passed by our table about 10 times to her large party that was adjacent to us and not once she looked at us or even acknowledged we were there. Not even an I will be with you in a few. 2:10 we decided to get up and leave to another Applebee's. Such bad service this time, I understand they are young college kids but if they do not have patience for the restaurant field, they should not be hired. As a customer I go to eat, pay for my food and pay for the service the staff provides. Now the Applebee's at Green acres will be receiving our business since they made up for this bad experience. Their 5 star review will be there for them!

Received one of the worst service today and I’ve come to this spot few times and the service wasn’t this bad. I got a burnt steak when I asked for a medium rare and I was told this is how all the steaks look. I took a bite and thought I can continue until I had a bitter after taste so I requested another one and I got another brunt steak. Finally realized it’s because the grill they are cooking on probably hasn’t been cleaned properly which is why it happened the second time. Went at 8pm didn’t get food until 9:30 so disappointed. Nothing was taken off as a courtesy either not that I asked for one.
