My husband and I had a such a nice evening at Nick's! I had been craving chicken parmesan and spaghetti for weeks. I thought it would be passable but nothing prepared me for just how delicious it would be! When the check came, there was another nice surprise.
We have been here twice to eat and many times to grab pizza. The food is always great. Their pizza is our favorite in the area. Some notes: parking is in the back or across the street. 2 entrances, 1 in the back and 1 in the front. If you call to order food for pickup they give you a number.
When I lived in the area I frequented the place very often since childhood. Now that I relocated... I still drive an hour to eat here a few times a year. Best gnocchi in NYS - but all of their food and service is top notch and they're always consistent - always. 💕
Always a great experience at this Endicott staple- you can never go wrong at Nicks!
I love their pizza. I came all the way from FLA so excited to eat the pizza. I will probably eat there all 3 days I'm here lol
My first visit to Nick's was excellent. Very well priced and excellent Italian food. The parking would be a bit tricky if you're not familiar with the area. Just follow route 26 around the turn and turn right into the municipal parking lot. There is plenty of parking out back, but get there early! Nick's is popular and gets crowded quickly around dinner time!
Delicious! I stopped for a quick lunch while on the road and was not disappointed. I had the calzone lunch special with spicy Italian sausage soup. The soup was great and the pizza sauce they use is amazing! Friendly staff and quick service. Will stop again next time I am around!
Nick's pizza hands down the best pizza anywhere in central New York and trust me I've had most of it. The closest pizza you're going to find to this is in Brooklyn or in Greenwich Village. The crust is the right crispiness, the cheese doesn't flop off, and the vegetables and everything else is so fresh. The sauce is hands down one of the best I've ever tasted. I drive over an hour and 10 minutes to get this pizza because it's that good and I can go to Syracuse, Rochester, etc. and can't find anything close. Trust me go.
Excellent. The ambiance is very cozy and warm. The staff are friendly and experienced. The food is rich and delicious with fresh and bright aromas. We live out of the area but when we come to town, we make it a point to come to Nicks.
Nice little Italian place. Brother's with "Tony" but a very different atmosphere and about 15% the size. Great date spot if you want a quiet place to chat. Not really room for larger groups, but they will work with you if you call ahead. Personally, it's designed for 2 or 4 people per table. Also have nice lunch specials that get you in and out. Their pizza, gnocchi and steak subs are my favorite options, but ask for a side of ranch for the bread and pizza.
My favorite Italian restaurant in the Southern Tier of NY. However, I can only really talk about the linguine and white clam sauce because it is so good, I get it every time we go there. My family says everything else is good too. I will say this unequivocally, I travel a lot and Nick's white clam sauce is as good as or better than any I've had elsewhere. Add to that the warm atmosphere that Nick creates just by being the outgoing guy that he is and I feel like I'm just part of the family and he's serving me in his home. Did I say I love the place?
First time ever stopping here. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but I was thoroughly impressed. My chicken parmigiana with pasta was awesome. Girlfriend ordered the alfredo and she was very happy with it. Will stop in again.
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal together at Nick's last week. The place was hopping, our server was courteous, we didn't have to wait long, our pizza was delicious and the price was right! These guys have it figured out no question about it!
Delicious and authentic Italian food...the pizza was very, very good... definitely worth the drive...
Have eaten there many times over the years and the food is great and good prices. A smaller restaurant but set up.very good. Have eaten at Nicks when they were in the old Kmart plaza many years ago. Nick is a great owner and does assure his customers are satisfied. Highly recommend
our family went yo Nicks for a funeral luncheon. we gave them very little notice. They were very accommodating and extremely pleasant. the food was superb. we were very pleased on all aspects of their service. THANK YOU!
Nick's has been a local go to since it opened. Great for a couple slices at lunch or their home style Italian dishes, you really can not go wrong. The thin sliced meatballs on their pizza is a personal favorite.
our pizza was amazing. The service was great. The restaurants, a little plane could be more cozy, mostly wooden chairs and tables, but a great place to eat.
Best New York style pizza in Endicott hands down, probably in BC.. also the ranch and Italian dressing are phenomenal. I really haven't had much of the entrees but well lasagna was excellent and the hot subs are really good too..
Great place! Stopped by there for the first time today with my wife and son to have lunch. Service was excellent, from the gentleman politely answering questions over the phone before we got there to the nice young lady that attended to us during our meal. The food? Let me just say that they made an Italian food fan out of me today! I’ve never really jumped for joy for Italian food (other than pizza), but their meatball parmigiana with spaghetti was absolutely divine! My wife had the eggplant parmigiana and loved it. I had a sample of it (always thought eggplant was gross) and it was absolutely delicious! Looking forward to coming back!
The food. Was out of this world like always Nick does a wonderful job. The waitresses do a wonderful job. Very professional
This is THE pizza place in the triple cities! Honestly all of their food is great. Lasagna and veal parm (real veal not patties) are definitely my favorites. Take out always on time. Wait staff and counter staff very friendly. It does get busy, but that's because the locals know how good it is!
Love this place! The pizza is the best I have had and I am from NJ. No other pizza around can match the taste. Chicken parm is delicious as well. Prices are very decent. Service is fine. It gets very crowded and busy Friday evenings, so the waitresses are running around. They are still accommodating and attentive.
Food was great!! Had both chicken and veal parm. The Calamari is amongst the best in the area. Bread is baked fresh for each table.
We had a lovely meal in this traditional Italian family friendly restaurant. The service was excellent as was the food. Thin crust beautifully cooked pizza, it was great. My coffee was rich and flavorful. There were large groups dining so if noise and activity is an issue Friday night might not be the best time. The proprietor stopped at the table to check in that everything was good. Special mention to the house Italian dressing it couldn't be better in my opinion. Definitely will come again.
One of the best and still original Italian restaurants in Endicott
Love them guys that make the pizza!! It's my birthday too!!
If you grew up in Endicott in the '80's, Nick's will bring you back. As consistent as every slice he made for us at Jennie F!
Best pizza in town. Fresh ingredients, light and crispy crust with good flavor. Compared pizzas allover the greater Binghamton area and this is the best. Eggplant parm and rigatoni are solid options here as well
Lived in this area for over 35 years and finally tried Nick's for the first time. Had the best thin crust pizza we've had in a long time. The restaurant was very nice and cozy and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was the fact that we didn't discover this place 35 years sooner. Can't wait to go back and try some of their Italian dinners.
Every Friday is Nicks night! Best pizza anywhere in the area! Never been disappointed, no matter what we order!
Husband took me to Nick's Saturday for date night. Our first time there. We're from L.I. originally and no Italian restaurant has been good since we moved up here 15 years ago. Nick's was delicious! Excellent service, generous portions, reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be going back!
Love the setting of the place, they've been here since I've been a kid. Pizzas never have an issue, their dishes are amazing, and will always keep coming back. The servers and staff are always pleasurable to be around too.
We have been eating here for 30 years, almost weekly. Great value and consistently quality feel good meals. I love the Pizza and salad with house ranch. My Wife loved the gnocchi parm and salad w/house Italian. She can never finish the 1/2 order, so I always enjoy some of the too... :-)
Tried Nick's for the first time yesterday. We ordered three different pizza's for takeout. Each one was fantastic! This was the best pizza we have had since moving to the state. Definitely our new favorite.
This was my first visit to Nick's even though we've been in the area for years. It was the second day of their 20th anniversary promotion. I came for two carry-out pizzas. Wait was not long, even though they were baking constantly and very busy. Pizza was delicious. The seating inside has more than one would think, hopefully we'll dine-in soon. Will update review at that time.
I really like Nick's.The food is really good with no phoney fancy stuff, just a nice local Italian place. I had kind of forgotten about, but we just started going back again and it something my whole family will agree on 😁. Nick is a hard working gentleman and he always makes you feel welcome. We usually get a pizza for everyone to warm up on. Really good thin crust!
My son and I stopped here after a trip to his dentist. This place has realy great service, really great pizza, and really great gnocchi. My son, who hates pasta with a passion, loves their gnocchi. Their pizza has a delicious crisp crust that does not taste like cardboard, and holds its toppings very well. Our server was prompt in seating us, and very patient with my son, she even interacted with him at his level.
I have been going here for well past a decade, and it NEVER disappoints. The food is excellent, and they by far have the best gnocchi I have ever tasted. Seriously, it’s my favorite favorite dish and what I order every single time I am there. I could live on their gnocchi for the rest of my life. Their service is excellent as always and I have never had one single issue in all of these years I’ve been going here. A++++
Tastes like home (Long Island) so good !!!
Always excellent food, great service. The best Italian food in the area!!! Pizza, veal parm, any pasta.. sauce is amazing!!!!
Wait staff was on top of things. I had chicken cutlets parmesan with rigatoni. It was good but the sauce was to acidity for my stomach. Over all, not bad and good atmosphere.
Nice place to eat, great food, excellent pizza. Good quality ingredients, average prices. Can't wait to go back!
Great food and wonderful people. We have never had a bad meal here and the service is top notch. It’s become a tradition to take our grandchildren here after their dental appointments, we all look forward to it! And a shout out to our wonderful servers who make us feel at home and go above and beyond.
Affordable and get your money's worth staff is friendly and very welcoming
We went here after we were told we would have an hour wait at another restaurant on Valentines Day. We were in the Endicott area and I pulled up gluten free restaurants. There is surprisingly alot so in the list from the reviews and I just really liked the name I chose Nick's. Upon pulling up it looks like a hole in the wall but I've learned never to judge a book by it's cover. We parked and went in their back entrance. We were seated immediately and we could smell deliciousness wafting through the air.I really liked the atmosphere , very upbeat and personable. Our waitress came over after a couple minutes to get our drink orders and we let her know we already were ready to order. I had gluten free chicken parmesan and my boyfriend had regular chicken parmesan. Both of us agreed it was the best we ever had and can't wait to go back. My Daughter called during and asked us to get her a meal to go. She after eating hers let us know it was very delicious and she would be eating there soon. I was given a rose 🌹 for Valentines when we paid which we thought was extremely thoughtful. I can't wait to try their gluten free pizza! I think we found our new favorite restaurant. 😍😋😁
After driving almost 2 hours we stopped for lunch! This place was amazing we tried pizza mozzarella sticks steak sub grilled chicken alfredo everything was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet very attentive and pleasant to be around. Will definitely stop back when inn the area! Would definitely recommend!!!
Great pizza as always. The garlic bites are amazing!
I’m lucky to have this place around the corner. Great pizza!
Amazing pizza, thin crust and delicious ingredients. Staff are super welcoming. My go-to for pizza night
I came in here to try their pizza because it was close to where I just moved and that was 3 years ago and I eat their constantly I love their pizza I had gone on a diet about a year and a half ago and I only ate their pizza and popsicles and through the winter I lost all the way I gained the winter before and felt great and the weight is still off a year later and I still love their pizza it's just got a unique taste and it is so good and also they're super nice there and it's great atmosphere and it's clean and I really like it I recommend it
I tried Nick's pizza for the first time on November 8th. I got a plain cheese pizza and the Bianca Rosa. The Bianca Rosa is an immediate favorite with white garlic and fresh sliced tomatoes. It had a nice taste, not overwhelmed by the garlic. The cheese pizza had a good taste also. Both were thin crust. I returned on November 11th for lunch. I tried the chicken cutlet sub. The chicken had a good taste and a nice crunch. I just wished the sub would have had something on it, lettuce, tomato, maybe some kind of dressing. I also tried a canoli. The filling on the canoli had a wonderful taste, the chocolate drizzle was a nice, along with the cream on the side. I will return to try dinner, as they have many delicious dishes. I can definitely recommend the pizza.
The staff is so friendly and the food is always fantastic. Nick has kept the same quality through the years. I highly recommend this place for great food and service.
We came here years ago and could not remember the name of it with an aunt. Recently we came here for a family meet up with that aunt's son for a dinner and we got so excited when we recognized the parking lot. My husband had raved about their lasagna for weeks after we originally came here. they were very kind and the food was still so delicious. Their red sauce is phenomenal. I got the sausage parmigiana while my husband got the lasagna of course lol it was still every bit as good as last time since I tried it both times.
Consistently among the best pizza the area has to offer. Every time I've been here, I've gotten great, consistent pizza, not an off day yet, something I can't say about any other place that serves pizza. It's certainly a favorite among my family. The employees are always friendly and helpful, something else that can't be said for every business in the area.
Nick's has been a staple on Endicott for years. I live in Texas now so only get back home every once in a while. I always make a point of visiting Nick's restaurant. Nick the owner takes time and says hi to all the customers. The wait staff exceptional. Atmosphere always awesome. If you visit any where in the triple cities you have to stop and try Nick's. Be it a sit down dinner or take out or pizza all exceptional. The Italian dressing for your salad just WOW as always.
Nick's always satisfied the desire for great food, friendly family atmosphere and delightful surroundings. Meticulous care for superior dining experiences. Lunch or Dinner, there is never a moment that doesn't satisfy. This has been his lifelong dedication and everyone under his stewardship knows it and provides reassurances to every customer.
We started with warm bread and tossed salad. Bread was good salad was a bit skimpy but italian dressing was good. I had the Meatball Parmagiana. It was very good. Meatballs were flavorful and cheesey. My wife had the Rigatoni Parmigiana with a side of meatballs. She was very happy with that choice. Staff was friendly and place was clean.
Delicious! We especially enjoy the red and white garlic pizzas. Can get busy during mealtimes, but take-out is always an option. Usually sufficient parking in the lot north of (behind) the restaurant.
Food good. Great pizza. Pasta dishes are always good. Meatballs are a bit to dense. Prefer a more tender meatball
I would love to give them 5 stars because their pizza is awesome, but I’ve had a couple bad experiences in the past year to bring my overall rating down to 4 stars. First pre-covid I went there for my birthday, and everything was great honestly, except they gave me a side salad with obviously brown lettuce in it. Second/ third post Covid we tried to order pizza for pick up, and whomever answered the phone both times around 8:15pm told us the kitchen was closed at 8pm, the first time was in the beginning of Covid, so I wasn’t upset, everything had gotten confusing, but this time tonight 8/15/20 I had checked their website which had a post Covid update to list their dining room hours till 9pm, and the bottom of the page listing their hours in general as being open till 11pm on Saturdays. So I assumed they were at least open till 9, and maybe takeout was till 11, or worst case scenario you would think maybe they would close the kitchen at 8:30pm before full close of dining room at 9pm. So due to false advertising on their OWN website, I ended up ordering from another place that IS open. Also, even google and yelp say they are open, which is why I’m writing this to let you all know to place your order by like 7:30ish if you want Nick’s, and because I don’t think it’s very kind/is definitely lazy of the owner to not correctly list hours on their own website at the very least, I had my heart set on Nicks and am disappointed, if it were me, I’d also update it on google and yelp also, which I’ve submitted the hours update for them on google.
Our small group went to Nicks tonight for dinner. We had a lovely waitress. Our drinks were promptly served. Next our salad was served at just the right time. We had enough time to greet one another and there was our salad. Our meals were also served at an appropriate interval. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Delicious with great service.
Really nice little Italian restaurant to take your kids for some pizza. Down to earth, no frills atmosphere with very inexpensive prices where it's easy to seat the whole family comfortably. I've been to fancier places where you're constantly worried about your kids being too loud, this is not that kind of a place. Kids are welcome here. Though it may not be my ideal place for a romantic anniversary dinner or something like that Nick's is certainly is a nice place to relax and enjoy some Italian food in a casual atmosphere.
I usually just get pizza when I go to Nick's but occasionally I have gotten other dishes. All are very good. Watch out with the pizza when it's hot out of the oven - the cheese can be like molten lava. If you are expecting some fantastic culinary experience, this is not the place. This is a quaint little Italian restaurant that serves good food at a decent price. Service can be slow at the busy times, but then you can say that about any restaurant (I'd run away from a restaurant that wasn't busy during the usual dinner rush). The dinner salads tend to have a lot of dressing so if you don't like it that way order dressing on the side. They also don't have a lot to them, but then I don't come to Nick's for salad. Overall this is a great little local Italian restaurant and I would recommend you give it a try.
A great family Italian restaurant. Small, clean and well lit. One of the best pizza places in Broome County. Good service. Good food. Plain and simple. Just stop in and find out for yourself how good it is!
We ordered eggplant parm, sausage parm, and a cheese pizza for pickup. The food was very good and ready on time. I wouldn't say that any of the staff interactions were friendly but none of them were rude so... Neutral on customer service.
Food was great- but I wish they would partner up with UberEATS, Doordash, or Grubhub.
My wife and I shared an antipasto salad and pizza. The pizza was excellent; lots of meat, cheese, and a thin crust the way we like it. The antipasto was just ok. It had several pieces of lettuce that were wilted and brown, and one of the pieces of pickled cauliflower had a big black spot on it that should have been obvious to the person who made the salad.
The waitress, Sofia, was an excellent person who was so quick and accommodated our orders. She truly deserves a big tip from all customers. The pizza 🍕 I strongly recommend sausage pizza. It is delightful.
I've made only four visits and been pleased every time. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and great food. I enjoy walking in and smelling the sauce.
Great location- food is always served fresh and hot. The prices are super affordable and staff is always attentive and kind. Parking in the rear makes this place super convenient for dinner and lunch!
Great views of Birch Bay. We just walked in and had a window seat with a great sunset (granted this isn’t their peak season).
I don't recommend going on a Saturday. There was a 20 minute wait for a table for 3. We decided to order a pizza to go, which took less time than waiting for a table to open up. The pizza was tasty. We'll give Nick's a 2nd try on a hopefully slower night. Kudos to the pizza guy for making 2 pies in under 20 minutes!!!
Nick’s has really good pizza, but it’s been inconsistent with everything else. There’s been times we’ve had great service and times the waitress did not come back to check on the table. The bread they bring you is SO GOOD but the salad is literally just a plate of bagged iceberg with no tomatoes or cucumber. It’s a bit expensive for the quality.
We arrived at around 5pm it seemed pretty busy, but we got a table right away! I ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They ended up being very good! I would recommend them! I also had a personal pizza with cheese and meatballs, which was good! The dough is perfect, in my opinion. My girlfriend had a personal pizza and chicken cutlet with rigatoni. She thought both were delicious and she would have them again! Portions were great and hefty. The atmosphere was casual and nice! Overall, it was a great little Italian gem!
Food was excellent but parking was awful. They is no parking in the front where the handicap entrance is located. To drop off a handicap person in front, you are standing in an active turn lane. The back entrance is located in an alley and the parking is in a large parking area that is far from the back door, walk through an alley, go up to three steps and then run into 2 non handicap accessible doors. As I mentioned the food is excellent, but it was a challenge to enter or exit the business, if you are a handicap individual. We will not be going back to this business.
Food is good, people skills needs revamping. Did an order to go, no personality at the counter, and to top it off forget an item. So they add a gratuity at the register at check out, but can’t treat customers with acknowledgment or respect.
Nick’s is a great classic neighborhood pizzeria. This has that classic neighborhood feel when you dine in, it’s comfortable and casual but you can also dress up. I love the pizza here; square pizza from those other places is not for me! On other occasions, I’ve had their fried calamari and various pasta dishes as well. All were great! I’ve eaten cannoli here and ordered espresso, I enjoy those here too. While I love the classic plain slice, I’ve also ordered a pie with sausage and peppers on it and that was delicious! Forget those pizza chains local and national, come here! Seriously, the food is way better. Came in last night to order Pasta alla Norma. We ended up with eggplant parm instead. It was good but not what we ordered. They weren’t even busy when we were there.
Good food, decent portions. Party of 10, they were reminded at least twice to have a table ready! They forgot! Crammed 10 people in a corner one round table and one square table butted together! Anything wrong with that picture? Enjoyed ourselves but bottom line, typical Italian restaurant, nothing special.
Full disclosure, we did not have the pizza. With that said, my mother-in-law wanted to go for her birthday. We all ordered pasta entrees and calamari for the app. It was all okay. I had the gnocchi and meatballs, I can't recommend it. The meatballs tasted old and the gnocchi was definitely frozen. My wife had the chicken parm and it was good. Everything tasted like it was either frozen or jarred, I can't say we would order their pasta again. We'll be back for their pizza.
Service was lacking. Didn't come back for a long time. No refills on drinks. Told us they were out of lettuce then when the table next to us got a salad told us they don't do side salads for meals this week and that's a full salad... Food was bland. Two stars because my daughter likes their pizza.
I'll start by saying our waitress was amazing. I can't remember her name, I think Jessica? But she was fabulous. My score has zero to do with her. The restaurant is small, and I'm a bigger guy. My wife and I got stuffed in a back corner and I actually had to get out of my seat twice to let people in and out. Very uncomfortable especially at dinner. The food? Basic af Italian food. Not bad, but not good either. Allegedly their pizza is good. Didn't try it. I possibly will for take out only. As for going back to "try" to sit down for dinner? That will be a big NO. Plenty of way better Italian options in the area, especially right in Endicott. I had high hopes too. Just a little let down is all
So unfriendly. Have been in so many times over last 8 plus years. Very inconsistent! Cold veggie lasagna. Taste was good. Most plain blah salad ever! Just close to home. I get there and remember why I don’t go very often.
I ordered a Antipasto Salad, which I've ordered here multiple times before & it was NOT the same. All iceberg lettuce, 3 small slices of pepperoni, no cheese, no olives, 2 cherry tomatoes that was it. A big plate of mostly iceberg lettuce. So disappointed.
Not much good to say about our dinner. My wifes cappelini didn't taste fresh. We both looked at the accompanied dinner salad and laughed. It was a few pieces of lettuce. That was all. Not a pepper, tomato, cuke, nothing. A $6.50 glass of wine was so small. My pizza was good. We will not be back.
I hate writing a bad review. But sometimes it might help . We used to go to Nick's at least once a week when first opened. When the pandemic hit we did not go for along time. Today zI ordered a pizza and raviolis .I ordered at 3:00 pm and made arrangement to pick up at 5:46.food was not ready but many orders after mine were being handled to customers. When I got home the pizza was not very appetizing . The crust was not done.tThe sauce tasted just like the can it came out of . The cheese was very salty . The ravioli was fried to almost charcoal . I don't know what happened but .Nick we will not be back .
When I order I don't know if it's different Cooks or not 🤔.. but sometimes the Pizza 🍕 be dry sometimes and sometimes it be very greasy when you order pizza at times.
All they had was plain pizza. And the chicken Parm hero had more cheese and sauce then chicken.
I’ve given this place several chances, but the quality of the pizza is incredibly inconsistent, and the customer service is downright awful. Unfortunately, the owner has been extremely rude during my visits, which only makes the experience worse. If things don’t improve, this will be my last time ordering, and I’ll make sure others know about the poor quality and service.
Not a positive experience. Waitress could not remember order and kept asking numerous times what order was. Portion size was small for price. No private seating for private parties. Was there for after funeral meal. Very disappointed.
