This was very fast and friendly service,it was 9am in the morning and I order a bacon cheese burger, and not only get my order out fast but the cashier was so friendly,,I will go back anytime I travel that way
I mean, honestly is a Jack in the box, it's not gonna be incredible, just utilitarian. The reason I'm giving it this rating was the excellent staff! Above and beyond for a fast food restaurant!

This has got to be the coolest, most romantic Jack in the Box to take your love to in the whole state of Texas, and that's big. Why? You must be wondering... there is a huge in-wall fireplace for you to enjoy your dinner and dessert or morning coffee in front of. The fire can be enjoyed from inside or out. Inside, there is a bug zapper too, so that you are not dessert for the bugs.
I’ve been disappointed with this location in the past but we were hungry. Hot food! Good customer service! Quick service!
The food is good the staff is eh depending on who is working that day one of the window girls lyric is really nice and was on point with my order even when I forgot to get my stuff she made sure I got my drink

This restaurant is the exception to the term "fast food franchise". I never have never been more impressed than with the courtesy, professionalism, quality of product, care to detail in correctly getting my orders filled and generally just a friendly staff. I've been stopping here for over 6 months now, 3-5 days a week, so my judgement has been held for long enough for them to prove..."this Jack in the Box cares about seeing us all come back and they do a great job to insure that." Great job in leadership training and standards, overall, well above any competitor within 50 miles. Thanks, for the past and the future days we'll see each other. Great job!!!

Sick of eating healthy, want to splurge without much money? Can't miss with Jack tacos. Have no idea what the meat is and don't care. They're consistent. If it's one of those nights where you know you'll feel like s*it the next morning get a couple of breakfast jacks. They're good with Mimosas. And remember, don't taco and drive.

I'm 60 years old & I don't remember every eating at Jack in the Box. I found the prices very reasonable & the menu very interesting. I'm sure I will visit again.

I eat there often because it is close to home and work . The food is good but the prices are high and service is slow most of the time.
You know it's just something about Jack in the box and it's all of them it's just not one in particular. But at some of them it is worse than the rest and in Ferris Texas I'm the only time you get fresh food is when the dry side and the inside are packed with people and then they have to like really cook and they run out of food. Instead of having someone like cooking whatever they're running low on I have no idea what they're doing but you actually something off the menu and their reply is we don't have anymore and you ask for something else. we don't have anymore so it does that mean that you're cooking some or did you guys just actually ran out of it. I think that they have so much stuff on their menu regardless of how many people you have working there is going to always be that way because the menu is actually overcrowded, and with that being said you guys have a great evening!
Service was OK. Wait time was long but the food was hot n fresh. Dirty lobby but the bathrooms were clean.

We were in the area because we took a client to visit a new home community in the area. The service was great and the food was warm and made correctly. The downside came to when i used their restroom. It was very dirty, I decided to not use them and hold it. If the restrooms could have been clean this would have been 5 stars for sure.
This place is like Sonic before they brought in the drive thru feature. Drive thru takes forever even with only three cars in the line. The white lady there who's the manager or something is the only thing that keeps this from being a 0 star (if I could give one) she is beyond that place and her manners show she is way past due for a promotion.
A year ago they forgot to give my step dad's credit card back, their food is pretty bad, and they can't be the ferris jack in the box without forgetting every food item in the order. Where are my damn chicken tenders jack in the box???

Saturday manager is a jerk... Food is good, place is clean, but if the customer can't get it the way they want it, what's the point. I ordered chicken strips with a side of cheese sauce and they told me that I couldn't have the cheese sauce because they didn't have anything to serve it in... Lmao, Really? That's the best you've got? Listen, I ordered something not on the menu. If you don't want to serve it to me, that's fine... Just be straight up and say what you mean.
I had the southwestern salad. It was average. My family had burgers, chicken tenders, and fries. Not picture worthy. I don't think well be eating there again anytime soon. Very underwhelmed. We would have rather eaten at Chic Fila or McDonald's. We wanted to try something student and it was just ok.
Had the jumbo jack with cheese and it was nasty! Took 3 bites and that's it. It was bland, no seasoning of any kind absolutely NO flavor. Had passed Whataburger or would have stopped there as they are better for sure. Chef.
We went inside. Was slow to get waited on. They forhot our order. Tacos were stale and old. Drink dospensing machine was nasty. Dining room was filthy.

Not Very Customer Oriented. Even Though, I Made The Best Of The Visit. Was given Cold Ice Coffee Instead Of A Large Hot Coffee And The Ice Coffee I Ordered Wasn't Anything Like The Description. There Was A Very Big Problem With Comprehension Of The Subject Matter At Hand, I.E. Taking Orders From Customers At The Drive-Thru.🥶
Food is decent, but usually consists of a lot of mess ups. Also I normally can never get a shake without being told their machine is down. One day I thought I was finally lucky that they didn't say it was down. I get to the window and paid and waited for about 5 minutes and then the employee comes back to say they don't have Oreo shake which is what I ordered. So she begins to tell me that they already made me a chocolate shake instead, but I wasn't even asked if that was okay. I asked what other flavors they have, but she just tells me that they already made the chocolate one like if I didn't have an option. Super strange!!
This was my first experience at Jack in the Box, so I ordered a few items off the menu to try to taste the variety on the menu. I had a cheeseburger, a taco, an egg roll, and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was dry and flavorless. The taco was greasy and one-dimensional in its flavor (and this is coming from someone who normally likes fast food meat paste, such as Taco Bell's ground beef). The egg roll was not a traditional egg roll, which was expected, but it was a decent fast food egg roll. The chocolate milkshake was decent, but very syrupy. Overall, if a burger joint can't to a good burger, what are they even doing? I would not go back.
Rude employees girl in drive thru and guero guy. So not only was the service horrible from ordering to end, the food was also not good. Greasy. Stuffed in little bag. She slammed window closed so I sat there while she ignored me and rude guy rolled his eyes and handed me minimal of what I asked for. If you hate your job find another one where you don't ruin your customers day by your atmosphere or ur vibes u putting out.
Food was super cold as if it was sitting over an hour. Just left there at 11:00pm. Their wasn’t even a long line but probably only 2 people working there but no excise if we spend over $30 for our food to be cold every time we go their at night.
This is the worst place in town. The employees are always rude, the service is always slow. I avoid going here whenever possible, it’s worth driving the extra time when I can to the Wilmer location just so I don’t get treated like an inconvenience. Even management is terrible!

We pulled up at 5:15 pm and they said "I'm not taking orders right now" no apology, no explanation, no estimated time frame.
I was af the drive thru at 11:43pm and nobody wanted to take my order. Aren't you guys closed until 12? Employees should be serving customers until 12 as that is the time this location closes plus employees attitudes is always the worst.
Horrible.... They said they were out of meat for the night at 11:40pm.... Considering they were closing at 12 I'm sure it was pure laziness. However if it was true then they really need a new manager who understands how to order.... Horrible!!
Very rude cashier she would not take my dollar coins and my kids were hungry. Dollar coins is money no matter what, you go to the hospital you pay parking thats what they give you and if you take the train thats what they give you.

Found a long hair in my hamburger and was unable to finish it. Burgers there always taste soggy like they're not left on the grill long enough, which doesn't make sense because they take forever to get orders out.
Customer service from manager was reprehensible. Rather than acknowledge a simple error, she blamed my husband for not checking it, and tried to blame me for placing it incorrectly. I ordered a black iced coffee. If your staff truly knows how to make this (pour coffee over ice..done) then this would not be the second time they made an error. I will never go back. Managers should remember that when a customer calls in, customer service should be #1. Not belittling the customer

Terrible customer service. Waited a long time to order in a drive thru with only one other car in front of me. When I finly have the opportunity to order the service member totaled my order with only my childs order and when i told him I was still ordering he was so rude to me I had him just cancel the order. If i could leave NO STARS I would. Worst experience with Jack in the Box ever.
Arrived at 1:35am, they had their drive thru closed, I checked in the front door, and the guy just kept shaking his head and mumbling it’s closed. I understand things happen but he was just a bit rude considering the open hours say 2am.
Just like tonight, everytime I go by there on Friday OR Saturday after midnight they are already closed. I tried again tonight at about 1:10am....ALREADY CLOSED of course. The employees are not trained properly and all of them need to be retrained the manager doesn't try to de-escalate the situation nor find the solution, then they talk about the customer in Spanish, I've had to inform them plenty of times that I do speak spanish and I can hear them. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the meat was half way cooked and had that nasty old grease taste. Took on bite and spat it out. The chicken nuggets are the only thing they will make as you order.

Every single time it’s always something the workers especially the Night Shift are rude and they always get the order wrong it’s just always something. I usually stop at the Wilmer before getting to Ferris to avoid it but it’s not always convenient.

I went last Friday to buy tacos. The worker worked night shift and his name is Daniel. I was paying for my food paid half cash and the rest was $4.41 on card. Once I put the card on it said approved it did not print a receipt. He looked at the machine and still said approved he made me put the card back in to pay $3 and a couple of cents and it got canceled. He still took my $4 .41 and he didn’t put the money back on my card. He then says the machine is messed up told him it was not my problem then he says it’s not mine either. I told him to give me my money back.Also he locked the doors on us last week not even 8pm when he locked it.
Ultimate cheeseburgers shrunk! They used to be great back in the day. But now it's a tiny burger. And expensive! I spent $14 on a burger, fries, and a drink and I was still hungry after I ate it! Come on, Jack! What happened to your restaurant?!?!?! GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS!!!!! Until they step up their game and go back to old recipes, I'm done with Jack In The Box. Sad but true. When we ordered our food we had to repeat our order several times. When we got to the window, not only was our order completely wrong but the lady at the window (Ashley) was extremely rude saying we are holding up the line when we did nothing wrong. Another worker came up (Tammy) and was very nice and finally gave us what we ordered. I do not recommend this jack in the box. If you are in the area, just go to Ennis. Again, very unprofessional and rude people at the Ferris location. (Besides Tammy)
If I could give a negative star review I would do so! We waited behind 2 cars at the drive through for just over 30 minutes (there's no way to get out of the line with their set up). Once we got to the window we paid and then waited 10 more minutes for our order. Half of our food wasn't in the bag and the junior bacon sandwiches didn't even have bacon on them...so we continued to wait an additional 5 minutes before requesting our money to be refunded. They were extremely rude (including the manager J (he said his name was)). Horrible service and extremely rude workers!
Ordered online, got to the restaurant at 11:20PM to find a trashcan blocking the drive-thru when they are open till 12AM. I had to turn around and go knock on the locked door because I already paid for food and wasn't going to leave without it. There should never be a trashcan blocking the drive-thru even when they're not open. You just don't answer the speaker when you're not open. Then closing down 40 minutes before you really close, do the job your paid to do. I'm noticing from the reviews that this is a common theme for this restaurant, when is corporate going to do something about it?
I would give it a -1 if I could, these were the most lazy and rude people I’ve ever met. They close at a certain time but according to them they close 1hr -30 minutes before it actually does, and the guy told me he closes it whenever he wants. I would not recommend eating here because even the tea taste bad from them not cleaning anything properly. They need to get their management and staff under control

There is an employee that was very rude at the window when I was trying to be polite. I said “How are you doing” and then she proceeded to close the window and talk smack with her co workers about what I said . She was a woman with tattoos and she was white and looked about 30 years old. She should be fired for how unbelievably rude she is. I will never return to this location.
The red haired lady was so rude to us! Shoved the food into my husbands hands and closed the window while my husband asked her for sauces and then ignored us waiting at the window. She is always rude every time we come here.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The food was disgusting & inedible. The men’s bathroom had no hand towels, there was puke in the urinal & feces on the floor. When I brought it to the woman’s attention she said “I ain’t goin in there” & nothing was done about it. The tables were dirty, they were somehow out of water & over half of their sodas. I wish I wouldn’t have spent money there. What a waste. I’m surprised I didn’t get food poisoning.
Service was terrible pulled through the drive through ordered and it was not right on the screen I asked if he could fix it and he cut me off and gave me a total as I wasn't done ordering and I kept saying hello so I could finish and he said I needed to leave he called the cops. That is ridiculous!! Will definately be contacting corporate.
They ALWAYS forget parts of my order. I know it's difficult when you are short staffed, totally get it. But today was the last straw The signs says they close at 2am, got there at 1:30 went through the drive through. Waited and waited, nothing. Drove up to the window and three females were in there but completely ignored us. Took them a while to finally signal through the window they were closed. They could've told us through the speaker or at least come to the window as soon as you see us waiting. Terrible customer service today..

Terrible! The service use to be great. Im not sure what have changed but the soda is always flat when I go now . Customer service needs improvement. Curly fries are extremely salty and hard. Lettuce and tomatoes on the burgers are not fresh. Too many teenagers standing around talking.
06.08.2021 UPDATE: Had three cars in front of me and it took 21 minutes to leave. But then when I paid $18.00 cash for $17.55 bill the guy only gave me .35 cents back and said I do not have anything but quarters so he just kept my .10 cents. Then he gave me three med. drinks and I ask for straws but never got them and didn't realize that until of course I had already drove off. Ordered 10 taco's got home to find they only know how to count to nine, I guess! I despise this location nothing but issues every time I have went there! I have been going to Jack In the Box since I was like 8 years old and have been to many locations over the years but this one is absolutely horrible on every level! Customer Service, Food Quality, Inside Appearance, don't even think about the ladies room...
took forever to take the order in front of us. we have been sitting in the drive thru for 30 minutes and the people in front of us haven’t gotten their order yet. shouldn’t have to wait that long for some tacos. waited so long i didn’t even want the food anymore. was almost late to work because of slow service
Tried to stop for lunch during travel and a handwritten note was on the window that the lobby was closed. Tried to go through the drive through and Carlos said he couldn’t hear me very well and to back my vehicle from the orders back to the preview menu at which I did assuming that their speaker system was not working at the menu I tried to place my more order at. I then realized there was no speaker for the employee to take my order from and went back to the order menu and asked why I was asked to drive back to the first menu and Carlos said it was because I was wasting his time and then asked me to go back to the first menu. We decided not eat here and have made a note going forward that this will not be a location we will eat at again. Completely unnecessary considering I was the only person in line (gotta wonder why) Store 4781 Employee said his name was Carlos but I would not put lying past him considering his behavior. We attempted to eat there at noon 04/30/2023
So today i went here i placed an order and they was taking forever for my food im talking about 10+ minutes. Theres a reason why it is called fast food not slow food. Fast meaning to be quick. Not slow meaning to take forever. I finally have had it and tell one of the employees hey my food is taking forever and i have to get going could i please get my money back. I luckily was able to recieve my money back. 0 Stars fr Terrible Service.

Wish there was an option for a zero rating. The employee at the window taking orders is very rude! He couldn’t hear our order and kept repeating it wrong. So, we informed him we would pull to the window to place the order due to communication issues at the speaker. He yelled and said no he will not take the order at the window and that is why they have the speaker. However, he could not even hear our order and continued to get it wrong! When you try to report it to a manager or higher up, you are unable to do so! They will never earn our business again!!!
I had the worst experience first Daniel Osorio should NOT be working at the window he charged me for the wrong order handed me my card back then said I owe $10 more and didn’t explain until I repeated myself more then once then he said I charged u for the wrong order so u owe me 10 I said what why didn’t I fix it I asked to speak with the manager and he said he was I said please give me some that can help me I’m not paying 10 more if I did he would have over charged me a lady then came to the window and returned my wrong price then charged me for the right one I asked for his name and he would not acknowledge me the lady is the only one she even wrote the name down I had a bad experience that is not a good person that Osorio he didn’t even Apologize for his mistake
Please check your food order it is probably wrong. Count your return change also, takes too long to get your food. Bad service all around.
Still rude. And mgts are worthless!!! The most incompetent ppl. For working in fast food. Everytime I ask for no ketchup, I get ketchup. Curly fries are old and rubbery. The management is rude and doesn't do anything about complaints..the kids that work there are too busy playing around or flirting with the customers. And all u get from the owner on Google review is "I'm sorry ur disappointed". Clearly the owner doesn't do anything about the issues cause they keep happening.
Inconsistent. Inhospitable. Mistake. I've had items left out on multiple occasions. Tried the new smash burger and loved it, but when ordered on another occasion quality was disappointing. The famous Jack's tacos aren't ever consistent either. I've attempted many times to allow this location to redeem themselves, but to no avail. Not worth the price tag or shameful regret. Only times I will go is when I'm a go-fer for family or friends.
I am far from home so I'm not sure how this place works and I stopped because my 3yr old wanted some fries and nuggets and I went by the drive through and waited a few minutes I said "hello" a couple times and no reply and they was a message on the screen saying something about the system so I thought to myself maybe it doesn't work and went up to the window and explained it to the guy and his response was that It was my fault and I should get back in line and order . I don't see how it's my fault! He could of responded and ask me to give him a minute if he was that busy I dint mind but he dintrespon and his attitude was ugly and rude I understand If he was busy again I wouldn't mine waiting either way going up to the window wasn't going to change the time of my order I expect to wait even longer doing that..it makes me more mad because the food was for my baby
I've given them a chance 3 different times since our options are very limited here in Ferris. Each time it's been terrible. Absolutely terrible. The wait is ALWAYS ridiculously long. Not even busy but they take for freaking ever. This last time I went I waited a long time and yes its also my fault for not checking but I specifically asked for extra sauces, they repeated that back to me and guess what??? NOT A SINGLE SAUCE WHEN I GOT HOME! And I should have checked knowing each time we've been we have always been missing atleast 1 item. Do not recommend this location at all.
I went through the drive-through with a co-worker after work, which was about 11 p.m. The Drive-thru cashier was extremely room and more worried about how she looked than her customer's orders. She yelled at me in the drive-through saying "I can't hear you, either speak up or drive around." I drove around and repeated our orders. I wanted the ice cream mocha coffee. She rolled her eyes at me and said, "We don't have that." I asked for an iced mocha then. she asked me, "Is that hot or cold" I got an iced caramel drink. I paid for the drink and asked her to cancel the rest. She said, "WHAT! AFTER ALL THAT I JUST WENT THROUGH, YOU WANNA CANCEL YOUR ORDER? OH, HELL NO!" I was so surprised. I said yes and drove off. I couldn't give this location a 0 or I would have. This is the Ferris location, but to be honest and fair, the Glenn Heights (Dallas County) location off Hwy 35 and Bear Creek gives the same attitude - late at night anyway. Two nights later my co-worker went back and got a burger. She ended up with food poisoning.
The entire dining room is dirty. Every table, floors everything, including trash all over the ground. All the drinks but a few are out in the drink machine. The service is awful. Took over 30 mins to get our food with nobody else inside and just a few cars in the drive through when we got here. Over 10 cars have gone through the drive through before we even got our food. Almost every employee seems to be on some type of drug and super slow to talk or answer you and when they do respond it’s just “huh”.
