Old building, abnormally efficient processing here, and overall one of my better experiences with a place and people that have to process so many different newcomers every week. They do certainly exceed the standards.

Its not bad. The latrines could use a little improvement but with that being said there is no real issues here

The stay was pretty good, the bathrooms were really dirty all the time and no soap. I slept with a blanket and pillow with no sheets or pillow case for the week I was there and I got sick for 2 weeks, they don't give you any linen. The PX is a 1 mile walk from in processing. Everybody there is really nice, and definitely more freedom than AIT and Basic Training

Very professional staff. Had a great stay. My roommate didn't murder me. We did have very loud neighbors across from us and would run down the hall or blast their music after quiet hours. The room inspection in the morning is a must try. Also the mandatory GI party at 1300. The rooms included 4 beds and spacious storage places. Depending on what rooms you get, you have a fantastic view of the NCO academy or the basketball court. The bathrooms were basic training style where you shower with four other SMs. I definitely recommend showering past 000 to get that peace of mind. Overall, we had the most friendliest NCO and made our stay comfortable.

PCSing from overseas? Book a hotel before coming. Either you'll stay in quarantine barracks or hotel of your choice. Trust me, the hotel is better.

This is the building you will live in while you in process into the base. You will have most of your briefings here and fill out a lot of paperwork and documents. These pictures are from my first twenty four hours of being there and received my room key 🔐 room 304. Building is extra old and the keys don't work in the locks half the time. You will have keep messing with it until the door eventually unlocks. Prison style showers 🚿 and no air conditioning in the rooms but they have heat and hot water which works pretty well.

I'm gonna be honest. I definitely over paid and the room service wasn't complementary. I had to walk a bit to get food. Definitely something to consider.

You're not here for a good time, or a comfortable one.. but at least it won't be a long one either.

Bathrooms are gross. I could say a lot about them, but just imagine a bathroom you wouldn't want to be in and that's it. Rooms are small and have clunky/broken furnishings. Process could probably be streamlined better as we had tons of time on our hands.
