Guys the food is great. I stopped by today for lunch and it was well worth the wait of about 20 minutes from start to finish. I had a very nice conversation with some kind older ladies who were celebrating a birthday and seemed to know the chef, they told me all of their favorite things on the menu and I left very satisfied with my three meat plate. I chose burnt ends, sausage, and I asked for moist brisket. The brisket was great and really tender, as was the sausage. I’m used to sausage having a little more chew to it but this was fantastic! Finally, the burnt ends were so sweet and savory and it was a satisfying meal. I also got Mac and cheese and green beans which are great. My only nitpick is more of a personal preference, I don’t like sweet breads or pickles. There is no dining area, but my favorite place to eat is at home anyways! If you’re thinking about trying this place out, do it and show them some love afterwards. This was my first trip there but I will definitely be back!
Absolutely delicious they DO NOT disappoint!!
I think this is my new favorite BBQ place. Whoever was in charge of the brisket, Mac and rice on Oct 9, hit it on point. I could eat that brisket everyday. The sauce is amazing, tangy and not too sweet. Great idea on the pickles, pickled onion and banana peppers with the Turkey! Parking took a minute to wait on but the line inside moved quick. Kitchen and cashier were polite and informative.
First time here. Friend of mine recommended this place. It was very good soulful bbq. No dining area. The people were nice and the food was very good. Will return.
Visited Smoke-a-Holics BBQ and tried their brisket platter with sides of mac and cheese and potato salad. The brisket was phenomenal—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. It didn’t even need BBQ sauce, which says a lot about how well it was prepared. The mac and cheese was creamy, and the potato salad was a solid addition, complementing the meal perfectly. If you’re a brisket fan, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
This was sooooo good!!! I got my mom the black pepper sausage 1 meat plate and I had the Rib ends 1 meat plate. Our sides were smoked mac and cheese, potato salad and baked beans. Everything was delicious! Sorry I don't have any pictures because we ate it all. I highly recommend this location. The Coca Cola cake was so moist, warm and so good!!! The staff is very nice and the owner as well. Your wait time will be short. They are fast. I will be returning!!!
Excellent BBQ, period, all you need to know. Had the smothered cornbread which was a block of cornbread with brisket, baked beans, green onions and sour cream on the side. Not a huge bean fan, but when you smoke them I become one rapidly. Only thing I will warn you about is they do run out of things, so best to show up early, and this is going to be a lunch spot because of their hours. Also carry out only, but they do take cards, and they do pack it so it stays hot. Parking can be challenging as the lot is small, as is the restaurant, and a lot of people know how good it is, so if you see a spot on the street, go ahead and grab it as there is a good chance you are going to have to circle the lot and when you don't find a spot go back out to the street. More of the BBQ shack type place you find out in the middle of nowhere but worth the drive as the BBQ is great. One more positive is that it is in Fort Worth so you don't have to drive out to the country. If you haven't been here you are missing a real treat.
So glad we decided to come here for our Thanksgiving meal this year. We do bbq every year, try a new place each time, this is now a top fav. The sides are the best! Got to get them! Best mac n cheese, best greens, great baked beans, corn bread amazing, the cake perfect!!! Turkey had good flavor, seasoned amazingly, I would prefer more brimed and smoked more, but still good. The brisket, ordered lean cut, however received fatty pound, only disappointment, it seemed to not have big coating of spice rub like the turkey did. I was hoping to get pulled chicken but they only have whole chicken. Might try another time. Food is a must try!!! We did stand in line, and I have many times before for good bbq, always an early bird in the front of the line! Never was greeted or directed by staff. Parking is limited. Dining is not an option. Just get this amazing goodness and be on your way...no bells and whistles here, just good food.
My 374th 'cue stop nationwide, and 89th in the Lone Star state, was found worthy of a home in the 2021 edition of Texas Monthly Magazine's The 50 Best BBQ Joints. It's easy to see why. $27.07 bought a 3 meat (brisket, turkey, pork belly burnt ends), 2 side (collard greens, smoked mac 'n cheese) plate with a bottled soft drink. So, the price point was reasonable. The brisket was smoked perfectly, with nice bark, buttery fat, and a respectable pink ring. The understated rub allowed the meat's flavor to shine. The turkey is solid, but here the real star of the show is the pork belly burnt ends. This is truly what BBQ aficionados call meat candy! Both sides were solid, the greens not drowning in vinegar, the mac 'n cheese creamy and full of flavor. So, highly recommended, but go early because parking is limited.
Since moving to Texas from Northeast Arkansas, I have been hard-pressed to find any good pulled pork with southern slaw here. I gave into the beef brisket monopoly here, and I AM A CHANGED WOMAN! I got all the textures and flavors I have been missing in my life with the lean, tender finely chopped brisket sandwich laden with their peppery, vinegary sauce paired with a bit of cold, creamy potato salad with egg. Each item was extraordinary. Coming back to try their sausages, cornbread, peach thang, and smoked macaroni sometime very soon.
Growing up in MS I’m not easily impressed with soul food restaurants but they didn’t miss.
Man what can I say lol. Just when I was about to give up on all the hype about Texas bbq. I done tired serval spots in the dfw for barbecue and they all were just mediocre. I was planning on saying the same about these guys but I can't. This place smoke A holics is the best BBQ I had in the dfw. I highly recommend them. Dont go to none of those other big names that you run across on YouTube unless you wanna be let down. Come here and be satisfied. Ok no the food I'm gonna start off with the blue kool aid. It's fire smh I wish I got two large cups. The smoked mac and cheese is A1 square business. The baked beans got this chili smoke flavor to them and they are great. The sausage is so full of flavor nothing like it. And the ribs are good and falling off the bone. The spot is small you just might past it if you not using your GPS. I give the place 5 stars and some. Oh yeah and I read the reviews before I came and I noticed a lot about customer service complaints. Well I got great customer service and everybody was happy and in a good mode from my what I seen. Best bbq in ft worth and I stamp that
I love nachos!!! No matter what restaurant I go to, if they offer nachos I’m trying them. So here at Smoke-A-Holics BBQ they offer a variety of things. Including stuffed turkey legs. I spotted the nachos and went for it. Let’s just say THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT!!! The meat;cheese;chip combo was PERFECT ‼️
Fantastic food in a no frills environment. Highly recommend!
1/07/2024: This Blaxican had to take a break today in mi cocina & made a semi round trip around the funk to feed my personal cravings & of course share with my kiddos. 1st stop my old stopping grounds, the SOUTH-SIDE, Evans St. Hollered at our man Derrick Smoke-A-Holics BBq & picked me up an oxtail plate with Mac-n-cheese & bbq baked beans with brisket, smoked chicken salad & nice smooth slice of potato pie.
Melts in your mouth goodness! I was very impressed by the quality and taste. 5/5
Don’t walk—RUN to this BBQ spot! The staff, service, flavor, and quality put this place miles ahead of any other BBQ joint around. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, but I highly recommend the Mac Bowl, Rib Tips, Brisket, and especially the Ribs—my personal favorite. And whatever you do, don’t skip the Banana Pudding. Next-level delicious!
My first visit to Smoke A Holics BBQ on Evans Avenue here in Fort Worth, Texas. There's been a lot of POSITIVE BUZZ about this restaurant and for good reason. The barbecue is Absolutely Delicious 😋! In all honesty, it's the BEST BBQ I've had in quite awhile. I ordered a 2 meat plate ( ribs & sausage ) with 2 sides ( potato salad and green beans). Everything was better than GOOD. In my very humble opinion, this is Texas Barbecue at its BEST. A WINNER! 👍
I wish I lived closer 😩 they have the best food and the most reasonable prices compared to everyone else. My Dad bbqs so I don’t typically frequent bbq places but Smoke A Holics is the exception. Their brisket nachos are everything and more. I want to try other things but so far I’ve only been here twice. The flavor is immaculate. I’d like to try the brisket chili, the ribs, and other things. I really appreciate the portions they give. You can’t find such quality and bang for your buck anywhere else 🤷🏽♀️-honegrygirl on Instagram
Tucked away in the heart of Fort Worth, Smoke A Holics is a hidden gem for BBQ enthusiasts. From the tender rib tips to the melt-in-your-mouth brisket, every bite is a flavor explosion. Their Mac and cheese, creamy and indulgent, is the perfect sidekick to the smoky meats. And don't even get me started on the banana pudding—it's a sweet symphony of nostalgia and satisfaction. But what truly sets this place apart is the passion evident in every dish and the warm hospitality of the staff. In addition to their mouthwatering menu, Smoke A Holics shines brightly with their exceptional customer service. The staff greets you with genuine warmth, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. Their attentiveness to patrons' needs ensures a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience every time. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your requests and make you feel valued. It's this combination of delicious food and top-notch service that keeps customers coming back for more. Truly a gem in the realm of BBQ dining. If you're craving authentic, soul-satisfying BBQ, look no further than Smoke A Holics 😎🍗
I've finally found some good Texas BBQ!! Black owned too!! 🙌🏾 Smoke a holics came up in a Google search so I went to check it out for lunch...had the rib tips & smoked mac & cheese everything was so damn good. I couldn't finish the rib tips so I'm saving them for dinner. I'll be sure to tell my fellow flight crew about it & stop here whenever I'm in DFW! 😋
Smoke-A-Holics BBq.... one of those incredible finds in a local neighborhood type places that is off the beaten path but is really smokin' some solid brisket.... & they definitely are now in my top 5 for collard greens as well... if you're anywhere near giv' em a go... you won't be disappointed on his brisket... Texas Magazine Top 50 too- deservingly so!!
I moved to Fort worth in 2016 and the entire time I lived here I have searched for Bbq that was worth a damn here and until a friend finally told me about you guys in 2022 I have been at least twice a month every month by far the best I’ve had in the Dfw so far I really aint cared to try anywhere else to be disappointed! Ive been 3 times in the last week 😊 and had it delivered when I was down with the flu. Keep up the great work dont change a thing. I love bbq I don’t need sauce to enjoy! 12 out of 10 highly RECOMMEND!!!
Smoke A Holics BBQ is Sooo Good!!! Mannn the Smoked Turkey Breast is out of the world!!! I also got Prime Brisket & Rib Tips!!! All of it is Scrumptious!!! It's worth the price!!! However, Sooo many people love this place; you might want to put I your order early & order 1 hour & a half before you want to get it!!!
Had Smoke A Holics BBQ cater our office event and there wasn't a single bit of BBQ left to take home. Brisket was tender and flavorful and the sides ran out far too soon, we'll have to make certain to order more because it was so tasty.
Food was immaculate! Everything was flavorful and fresh. I don’t even need to try anymore barbecue places! Not pictured: smoked mac and cheese, loaded cornbread, and 1/2 lb of smoked turkey. All 3 of those were perfect, too! Staff was smiling, friendly, and welcoming. Would recommend this place to everyone.
Co-worker told me about this place and I'm sure glad she did!!! DELICIOUS 😋 😋 😋 Everything seasoned to perfection!!! Ribs Perfect, Brisket Perfect, Green Beans Perfect, Potato Salad alright. Will definitely be back. Ordered online and it was ready when stated. I just wish the online system would update or even state when certain sides are available. I'll be back though because the food was everything!
Food was phenomenal. The pork belly burnt ends were absolutely perfect. Brisket was top tier, and the baked beans were unique and delicious, I was so impressed. Most bbq places are the same, I have felt this was unique, local, prices were awesome and it was totally worth the drive. I have literally only found 2 bbq spots worth it in the state of Texas, this is one of them. Highly highly highly recommend.
We asked where to go for good food in Fort Worth and was told to go here. THEY WERE RIGHT!!! Everything tasted great! Had the stuffed cornbread and loaded macaroni and of course the peach thang!!! I will definitely be going here whenever I'm in Fort Worth! No seating but that's okay. Everything is to go. The very small parking lot is the only thing we didn't like but we made it work and glad we did!
Fort Worth's got the best BBQ! The food's always amazing. That girl taking orders is super patient and nice. I wish they had some bar stools while you wait, but the wait's never long anyway.
Definitely a do over! Best chopped beef sandwich I've had in a long time! Charming location and friendly staff!
Top notch service and food! I’m soo grateful for this place! It’s the only time I get home cooked “good” food.
This is the first time I've ever been here, and it was absolutely fantastic. I travel all over the country for work, and this is definitely in my top 10. I will most definitely be getting food from here again the next time I am in the Fort Worth area. (Please excuse the photo quality, as I'm at a small table in my hotel.)
You're usually in and out pretty quick the menu items are delicious my favorites are the smoked turkey and chicken the Mac and cheese, greens and the chicken salad (it's turkey and smoked chicken )
WOW! This is probably the best bbq Iv had in this area! My sister recommended it and said we should give it a try and the portions are good and the food is amazing! We tried the loaded cornbread, burnt ends, and pork short ribs! All were amazing! These burnt ends are wayyyyyy better than Hutchins too! The only thing I wish was different was that we could eat there/ inside!
This was my 1st time eating here. I highly recommend this place. They definitely took their time smoking the ribs. They were not greasy or burnt just made with perfection. I got the 1 meat plate ribs with greens and beans, one word to describe delicious! You definitely will not be disappointed.
The brisket was TOP TIER HEAVENLY! The smoked Mac n cheese was so good! Ribs were fall off the bone Devine! Dont sleep on this hidden gem!! Your tummy will thank you!
Awesome Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Joint on the Near Southside. Great Brisket, Smoked Chicken and Smoked Baloney. Seriously, possibly the Best Ribs you'll ever eat. The Loaded Cornbread is Phenomenal. Mac & Cheese, Green Beans and Potato Salad are all Top Notch. Finish it off with Delicious Banana Pudding. Great Folks. Great BBQ. If you've never been, GO!!
10/10 would recommend stopping here if you’re in the Fort Worth area. It was about 5-10 minutes from downtown. We were some of the first people in on a Saturday morning. The girl at the register recommended the brisket and the ribs, so all 3 of us got that. We also got sides of Mac and cheese, potato salad, baked beans, and corn bread. The portions are HUGE, you can definitely share 1 plate among 2 people (we had so much leftover). The brisket was one of the best I’ve ever had, the Mac and cheese was perfection, and that was the best corn bread I’ve had at a BBQ restaurant. It’s take out only, but we were visiting, so they told us we could sit at the picnic tables outside. Someone was cleaning them as soon as they heard we wanted to use them. Great food, great service, definitely stop by!
I love small bbq joints. This location has some unique dishes that look fantastic. Due to not having enough belly space to try it all in one sitting I will be making multiple trips until I do. I recommend pairing anything you get with that Kool-aid!!! Parking is minimal but do what you have to do to get in there and try some great food.
The turkey and the brisket were very well cooked. The meat were tender and had a perfect smoke flavor. The banana pudding, greens, Mac and cheese were also flavorful. I enjoyed every bite.
I was making my debut here and it was all that and some! I'll be all over the menu, ordering everything on it over time! I started w/the Loaded Cornbread and WOW!!! Y'all should be a shame for yourselves! Someone left their foot in it! OMGoodness!!! We'll see you good people again soon! Y'all all be kind to 1another!
Love, love LOVE the food! There is not another bbq joint in all Fort Worth that has the flavors this place has. And thank you for making an authentic Coca Cola cake!! I buy them 2 at a time!
Amazing bbq. This is a very unassuming spot, so don’t judge a book by its cover. The food was incredible. Super moist brisket, even the flat. Sides were great too. Highly recommend.
Like a lot of folks who’ve relocated to the area, when the BBQ craving hits, I’ve gone to the usual suspects—Terry Black’s, Hard Eight, and a few others. And don’t get me wrong, they’re good in their own right. But something was missing. A flavor. A familiarity. That unmistakable home-cooked note that good barbecue—and the sides—are supposed to have. Scrolling through TikTok… or maybe Instagram (you know how that goes), I came across an influencer raving about Smoke-A-Holics BBQ. What stopped me cold wasn’t the meat—it was the collard greens on the plate. And at the start of the year, when greens are calling your name, you answer. So I headed over to Smoke-A-Holics, wondering why I had never stopped in before. I got there and learned the collard greens are only available on Wednesdays and Saturdays (at least that’s what I was told—and trust me, I made a mental note). Instead of turning around, I decided to do a test run: If the barbecue is right, I’ll be back. Period. I skipped the full plate and ordered a barbecue sandwich, some smoked salmon with crackers, and finished it off with their Coca-Cola cake. Here’s how good it was: I was talking on my phone and eating at the same time—and completely forgot to take a photo. By the time I looked up, the plate was basically a memory. Let me be clear: That barbecue is some of the best I’ve had in a long while. No exaggeration. No hype. The meat was tender, seasoned just right, and balanced—smoke, flavor, and texture all in harmony. The smoked salmon was a pleasant surprise. And the cake… listen, if you know, you know. I’m honestly tempted to go back tomorrow—for the collard greens and more barbecue. Because when a place gets it right, you don’t overthink it. You just return. Smoke-A-Holics didn’t just satisfy a craving—it reminded me what barbecue is supposed to taste like. And yes… next time, I’m getting the greens.
It's THE BEST BBQ I've ever had. As a life-long Texan that is saying something. I recommend calling ahead because they are always busy, but they stay efficient. I was impressed with the next level service though. On a recommendation, we ordered this for our office holiday party. Despite the non-stop orders coming in, they wheeled it out on a cart and helped load the large trays into my vehicle. And now 2 weeks later, we've misplaced the receipt (again, it was a business purchase so that's not good!) and they took our number and found it in their logs and emailed it over. I'm really grateful and can't wait to try more dishes from this hidden gem of Fort Worth!!!!!!
This is the best kept secret in BBQ! Dont know why they haven't been named top 10 in DFW area! Food taste, portions and preparation is always the same and consistent. Their prices beat everyone else's, especially with the portions they provide. Smokeaholics is the best in Texas. Better than Terry Black, Railhead, Panthers City, Dickeys, Cousins! This BBQ got em beat!
Taking my daughter around the Fort Worth area as she's a huge Mac & Cheese fan. We just got the Smoked Mac and Cheese and it was amazing!! Should have gone with a large or family size over the medium. Also went with the Baked Beans and they were dynamite too! Definitely have to try their barbecue at a later date!
Great lunch. I had the brisket and hot link my brisket was a bit too fatty but it was good. Mac n cheese taste creamy and thick very good my green beans was flavorful with smoke meat. I will be back I enjoyed it currently at my desk sleepy. The young lady at the register was nice and fast. My meat was a bit cold but once I zapped it in the microwave I was good. Pick up only you can not dine in at this restaurant.
First time eating at this location excellent barbecue it is a top 10!! We wanted the ribs but they were out we got there late, but the brisket was delicious it was like butter we had the banana pudding which is excellent and the sausage also BBQ nachos and potato salad and the beans were excellent. Will be back earlier to get the ribs! 😎👍🏼😋
I tried their food over the weekend at a festival and it was the best bites out there so I just had to stop by their place to see what else was good. Ordered way more than was necessary but sometimes you just can't decide! Everything was very good with my favorites being the Bbq dirty rice, rib tips, Mac and cheese and the smoked chicken salad. We'll definitely be back again.
Arrived at around 1pm and it was busy. The line moved fast as the cashier was taking orders quickly. She took my name after I ordered a sliced brisket plate with beans and smoked Mac & cheese. Order came out in no time. This plate with the amount of food could easily feed 2 people. The sliced brisket was thick and juicy. Comes with 2 bread slices, pickled spice onions, sweet pickles, and delicious BBQ sauce. Everything was super delicious. This place knows how make darn good BBQ!
I love this place! The brisket, burnt ends, and Mac n cheese is my fave. Staff are always nice, the place is always clean. Food portions are big! I give it a 4 star on the food for two reasons. 1) most everything has added sugar. Personally I like my food without sugar. 2) they run out so fast. It's not their fault though. The place is amazing, so I understand. Thanks for always serving us up, right! Response: The collard greens, and potato salad are on the sweeter side. I know a lot of folks like the sweet version better. Again, you guys are amazing and we will continue to support your business.
The truth.. I'll definitely be back! If you have a sweet tooth, I'd definitely recommend getting the Peach Thang! Forget wedding cake and Marie Antoinette because nothing but love and goodness in that dessert. Loved the rib and brisket as well. Friendly employees and a whole lot tastier than a lot of the Fort Worth "institutions" of bbq. Thanks for the yummy food!
Always enjoy the food. I have tried different items. No complaints. The brisket nachos are my new favorite!
The food was so good an tender! Service not to bad and prices could be better! I came out with 2 meat chicken and rib for $22. Thats to much! But I will be going back to get more. Can you send out some discount coupons to returning customers! My law firm referred me! Greatness! Bit alwayz room for improvement! Up-date! 2.13.24. I went back definitely worth going I did 3 meat Plat this time total 27.64. This still a bit pricey! Meat was falling off the bone you see the image!
So no tables to sit and eat. Howeva they have plenty of counter space if u wanna stand and eat. Certain sides and desserts are only available on certain days. I ordered a 3 meat dinner plate (brisket, tips, hot links, baked beans, mac n cheese). Brisket was a lil fatty but was the best out of the meats. Very tender and great flavor. Im from Chicago and we do tips vs ribs. And since movin to TX not alot of places offer tips so I was excited to finally find a place that offered some. Howeva...the Tips were a lil tough but had a nice flavor. Hot Links wasnt hot at all but also a good flavor. Baked Beans surprised me. It had a ton of flavor. Mac n cheese was good as well. Overall despite those lil setbacks for me...the food was well seasoned.
My husband ordered the loaded cornbread because he saw how good it looked on tiktok. I was so disappointed because it was jiffy mix sweet cornbread. I can't stand that stuff. I don't want sugar when I eat my food. I will try to meats next time
I was excited to try their "thicken" however was informed upon arriving that they would not be serving any until Wednesday. Honestly everything I wanted to try was not available on the Tuesday that I went. The food was decent but slightly over priced. I understand the price of a lot of things has gone up but I have never paid $20 for a plate of bbq and doubt I ever will again. I barely pay that much for seafood which should be that expensive. I'd definitely recommend trying them out for yourself but call first to make sure they are serving what you'd like to try.
Food was alright wasn't asked if I wanted brisket lean or fatty. Had two small ribs and a Medium size rib. Green beans I would pass on not a fan of Italian green beans. Koolaid was great wish I had gotten a large. For my first time in I wasn't really given recommendations I would've like that. Sad that they ran out of rib tips and burnt ends that sounded like it would've been good to try.
Service was fantastic food was decent and smoked but I'm from Mississippi and something was lacking but the people was there in droves .. these texas beans i can never get use to, potato salad was decent, ribs were ok rib tips was ok... not sure if I would go back..... most likely not!
2024 Review-Great customer service and organized clean establishment. They hand out buzzers to notify you when your order is ready. Ribs not seasoned like previous visits. 2022 Review- I wasn't given what I ordered. Nevertheless, I took what they gave me because all their food is still good. I checked order before I left, told cashier it was fine. Most people don't check their food and maybe upset once they notice. Please prepare what customer's order. There was also a guy customer harassing women as they waited. They can't control other people's actions, but it's still bad for business. Note: I will still support Smoke A Holics Bbq. 2021 Review- Food is still great, but sadly I only had 2 pieces of bread for my order. When purchasing 4-5 different meats last time I received 4 pieces of bread. This was my friend's first time coming to the establishment, she ordered sliced mixed brisket and some other items. She only received fatty sliced brisket not the mixed she order, but she loved it regardless. My friend sides tasted totally different from the sides I purchased last time. Her mac and cheese and potato salad tasted really delicious compared to what I had last time. I did not purchase any sides this time because I did not really enjoy them the first time. However, I would have bought 2 large mac and cheese given the way it tasted this time. The reason why I'm docking them one-star from my last review is because I like places to stay consistent. 2021 Review-The staff was amazing, as soon as I arrived at the restaurant there were several people waiting outside for the place to open. The rib tips were some of the best I've ever had. The ribs melted off the bone and tasted great. The lean brisket was good but I prefer the tender fatty brisket. The jalapeno cheddar & black pepper sausage were full of flavor. I enjoyed the banana pudding, it was made just the way I like it. The sides and cornbread are average, yet still good. I will definitely return to try the turkey legs on Tuesday.
First I would like to say the people that work there was nothing but polite and very nice! I was just disappointed in my food. It was my first time there so it could of been a bad day but I ordered pork chops which were tuff, my greens were very salty had to throw them away, and my rib tips were also a little tuff, and the Mac and cheese was alright.
We came here because Southern living had rated them one of the 10 best barbecue spots in Texas and there's just no way in hell. I guarantee you there's no way they ate here . My goal is to try to eat at every good barbecue spot in the state of Texas, lol and this is not one of them. There's no place to eat with exception outside they have two picnic tables and they are covered usually everyone gets their food to go, the brisket was below standard that's why I gave it two stars the ribs weren't much better the burnt ends were OK it was just all OK very disappointing. We all had upset stomachs two or three hours . The employees are very very nice just very below average BBQ🤮
Restaurant location is small, take out ONLY !! No dine in. Parking is scarce. Food smells and looks great! Order took about 15-30 mins. Cashier was rude name Ariyana . This was the first time I’ve visited the establishment and it will be the last due to her . Unknowingly to her I was placing a business order and she was very robotic and rude. Treated me as if I should know the menu instead of comprehending they offered an item that they perhaps changed and has available online to order . Not knowing I was hired by a third party company who electronically sends the items to purchase. We all have a job to do as adults if you don’t like people find another job to fit the dry personality. Don’t attempt to ruin people’s day based on previous rude customers or stereotype you never know what “business” is visiting and has a BIG impact in the community and local recommendations. I wouldn’t recommend
I had been wanting to try for a while and was excited. The brisket was dry but pepper sausage was good. The banana pudding was okay. Sides were okay overall not what I expected.
Ordered food from Smoke A Holics for the 1st time today. Had the brisket/ sausage plate. WORST BBQ I've ever had. Brisket was under cooked and the sausage was greasy
I sent my dad there this morning to this establishment to pick up my call in order for a turkey leg and the whole experience was just terrible. The ladies in the front were extremely rude! We will NEVER order from here again‼️‼️ When I called to make a complaint this got worse, the Lady who answered the phone was VERY nasty when I asked to speak to the owner and by my surprise the Lady I was speaking with was one of the owners. I asked… Hi, I was calling to speak to a manager if one’s available and she respond and say I AM THE OWNER! I then go forward with my complaint and she immediately go into attack mode. I told her how my Dad was being rushed and talked to very disrespectful and she yells at me and say well I’m standing right here it’s just me and my daughter ain’t nobody being rude to your dad I told him he has to get back in line to make another order so I then ask why would you make him get back in line when he was already in line. He got out of the line because y’all called him for my pick up order so why wasn’t he able to just place his order with you and that’s when she gets to talking crazy in the background and just throw’s another person on the phone but thank god the guy who answered handled the situation way better and with a apology for those Women nasty behavior‼️ I just wanted to support their business but this is how we were treated 🙄 Those lady’s should be more nice and professional‼️
If I could give this 0 star I would. I love, love, love bbq and was really excited to try this bc I haven’t had bbq in a while. We ordered the brisket nachos and loaded taters. The nachos were drowning in cheese. They were $20 and we threw them all away bc of how over sauced they were. I have never loved water so much in my life. I know better next time and sticking with Heims Bbq
