This is a hard location to review because it being on the highway in the middle of nowhere (relatively) means that it is usually either crowded or empty. During our visit it was packed and the employees seemed to be doing the best they could to provide a good experience for the customers. The wait was long but, the food was good and, overall, the restaurant was clean.

The employees here were so friendly and walked around constantly like wait staff asking if we needed anything. Not like the usual McDonalds employees who act annoyed any time you ask for one ketchup packet. It was the best service we have ever had at a McDonalds. The food was fresh too.

High in the mountains we stopped to stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat 😁 Very windy day but the new spicy 🔥 chicken sandwich was delicious 😋

We stopped here on the way to sledding nearby , the kids wanted lunch and they were 7 minutes away from the lunch hour but we asked the manager, Carolina If they could have nuggets etc… she was so nice and accommodating. We also asked here about the best places to go sledding, she was so kind in giving us great advice and providing us with directions. She even went to her car and gave us her sled to use! The restaurant was clean and pretty quiet, so we got our order pretty quickly. The staff were nice and offered extra sauces. Fries were a bit over salted but fresh and crispy. Burgers and ice cream were great. The restrooms were big and clean. There’s also a drive through. Very close to the highway.

Located off a busy highway, many traveller's in and out. Staff does great job fulfilling orders, whether dine in or drive- thru!! Very clean dining area and clean restrooms. A few outdoor seating areas. I travel this highway, I-5 very often, for years and day or night, I feel safe stopping here.

I have to compliment this McDonald's location. I pass by here often, and I'm consistently impressed. It usually takes a few visits for me to leave a positive review, but this place always serves fresh fries and burgers. Hit the drive thru on the way home. The fries were perfect. The burgers were hot. Got in and out quickly, to get back on the road.

We were traveling and stopped in Gorman for fuel, relief and a traveling bite to eat. The filet of fish sandwich seemed to be a lot smaller than my prior visit to a McDonalds some time ago. It was very dry with a 1/3 slice of cheese and a dime sized portion of tartar sauce. The double cheese burger was fine. It was great that they were open late with access to restrooms with several stalls for weary travelers. The atmosphere was clean and neat. The service staff on duty were very friendly and helpful. There are 2 entry / exit access lanes from both the front and side of the restaurant, with 2-way traffic space for easy movement entering and exiting the property.

Great location right off the 5 freeway with easy access on and off the freeway. The staff is friendly and the food was fresh. The restrooms were clean and there is lots of parking available.

The food was delicious. You can refill the drinks and the french fries are the best part. French fries are delicious. I dont think there is anything bad about the restaurant. Would make some changes to the bathroom though. Overall, I think one of the best McDonald’s I’ve ever went too.

Friendly folks, food was standard thoroughfare but delicious nonetheless. They did seem low on things - no paper towels in bathroom, no lids for larger cups, a shortage of cups. It didn't detract from the overall experience. Some of the table surfaces lit up and were touch sensitive, which was awesome entertainment for the kids.

Our order took longer than normal McDonald's to come out to our car. BUT they were the best McDonald's fries we have ever had. So...that was awesome! Perfectly still hot, salty and fried exactly right. The ideal treat mid-way through a road trip!

The new order through the kiosk is a little inconvenient. Staff refused to assist at the counter unless paying cash even when the customers tried to explain the kiosk was not working.

Management wanted me to use the machine to order my food. I told management I have never used those machines ever since they were put in there. She said next year the cash registers will be removed. I said that's the day I'll never come back to McDonald's. The prices are getting way too high for a fast food place. Lunch for one person should be no more than $10.

We were doing a road trip north and chose to stop at the next fast food restaurant for lunch. We got there pretty early and they were still serving breakfast. We got out of the drive thru line and parked. One of the smallest lots and worse if coming at peak hours. We got lucky and got stalls of our choosing. We thought lunch started at 10a so we waited... still breakfast. Thought it would start at 1030a. Nope. Had to ask a worker and they confirmed that 11a was their starting time for lunch. Honestly, we didn't mind. It was our only long break during our drive. Got a table easily. Ordered through the app, if you select that your meal be delivered to your table they won't do it but will call out your table number. By the time we were finishing our meal it was getting crowded and loud. Tables could be cleaned up once in a while. But was on it sweeping the floor!

Typical mickey D's. I mean it was just good just not great. Fries was super fresh tho and large sure has changed. QPC was just ok. For being in the middle of nowhere I kinda was expecting to be blown away. But service was good and line moved quickly.

This place was a mad house....dis-organized and very busy after the holiday

First time stopping here on 2/7 and it was slow and hectic. They need to improve their time management and multi-tasking skills because their dining area got backed up real quick. We selected table service and they made us go get it. There were people waiting to order at the cashier and they were told to wait. Not sure if they were short staffed but try drive-thru if you need to. I can't promise service will be any better.

Cashier was frustrated to take my order. Then they missed items from my order and I didn't realize until I was hours away.

Ordered three 10 piece McNuggets and we got 3 bags of 9 pieces each... To be missing one piece in one bag could be chalked up to employee error. To be short one piece in every bag is likely they were told to do that. We had to go back in to complain. They fixed it and gave us some fries and an apple pie. This place is in the middle of nowhere so most people are probably miles away before they realize their order was made short. What's more troubling is this has happened to us several times in our home town and it makes me wonder if managers are being told to do this as some money saving strategy...

I had the shrimp smoothie and my wife had elephant pizza, like always. I was charged for a large combo but only received a medium drink and the drive thru person was rude about it. The smoothie was delicious. My wife said the pizza could’ve used a little more parrot sauce, but she says that about everything.

Always slow in the drive thru. They really need to pick up the pace here. They also forgot one of my big macs and after driving home, had to return to get my other burger. This happens all the time here so check your bags. My daughter said she had checked but missed it.

Avoid this location! THE worst experience at any Mcdonald's in 30 years. Waited 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead in drivethru at 10pm on a Friday night, no explanation or apology. Order had no bacon on the Angel Reese burger, fries salty, soda too much carbonated water. Shake was fine but very synthetic tasting vanilla. I was traveling another 300 miles hadn't eaten in many hours and wasn't going to take the time to go back. It took almost 2 months overall to get a refund from the area manager after the franchisee didn't respond.

This place was filthy, most tables had either garbage around it or food remnants. Staff also couldn't be bothered to give you sauces... But they made sure to charge you for them... Which in all honesty is just lame of McDonald's.

Order came to 44.95 I handed the cashier $105. A hundred dollar bill and 5 -$1 bills and he inputed $100. And gave $50.05 change. I looked at the receipt and pointed out he put 100 instead of the 105 I gave him and so the change was very wrong. He argues he mentally accounted for the $5 in his doling out his change. I had to call for the manager. We explained there situation & the manager was having a hard time understanding. My husband had to show them mathematically their errors so that I could get the correct change of $60.05. Ridiculous. If you can't do the math, then at least input the correct amount of money given to you, So that the computer can do your math for you. Then, I get the food and the fries are cold, Not salty. The three orders of chicken nuggets that we ordered were rubbery. Overall worst mcdonald's experience I've had in a very long time. Our stop at McDonald's was a pit stop along the great Vine. So it was also a bathroom break. The women's bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper everywhere and water all over the ground From the toilet area in one of the stalls. It certainly hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. I Strongly urge people to choose the carls jr at this stop area instead of the mcdonald's, as I will in the future.

Obviously this place is on the SoCal to NorCal drive and vice versa. Meaning it is a popular place for a bathroom break. With that in mind the bathroom should be maintained. This was the craziest site to see when I needed to use the bathroom on my long road trip. Food was normal McDonalds quality. Bathroom was terrifying.

Have been here twice and both times the dining room has been dirty: trash on the floor, garbage cans full and bathroom in great need of cleaning. Bathrooms are not only dirty but also smelly. I write this in hopes that things will improve. Customer service was good and the food was hot, except for the french fries but the manager quickly replaced them. Based on the lack of cleanliness I will no longer be returning to this location.

The food had an odd texture and strange flavor. It was pretty gross. Had to pull forward to wait for the food, which is fine, but then I'd expect it to be fresh. I mean that's why you have to pull forward right? Because the food isn't ready yet. Dipping sauce was forgotten for the 20 piece nuggets and the fries were cold. Pretty gross experience. I do not recommend stopping here.

Stopped in for quick coffee and snack on a road trip. Placed mobile ordered. Our order number was removed from the order-board before we received our order. Inquired about why our order number was removed and received no reply from cashier. Employee in back heard our inquiry and pointed out our order to the cashier sitting behind counter. Cashier still didn't get our order. We had to ask her again, if it was ours. She finally handed it to us, without saying a word. We told her that we still needed our coffees. She didn't say anything again. Same employee from the back replied he would get them. Twenty minutes later I asked the same cashier if she could check on our coffees. She again didn't reply. I repeated my question and she started walking towards the back. I said did you hear me? She replied yes under her breath and rolled her eyes. I said will you didn't answer me. She walked to the back. Eventually the manager brought our coffees and walked away. Had to wait several more minutes for another rude employee to give us Splenda. Wish we would have waited until the next exit for our cold fries and coffees

Restaurant was filthy. The tables were unwashed, floor and window sills were unclean. Restroom was so cramped, door did not latch, surfaces were soiled. I just tossed my food in the way out after seeing the unsafe condition of this restaurant.

Traveling for business and we had the worst unprofessional experience! Order our food and waited at the pay window at least 10mins and no one appeared, so we drove up to the pick up window and the young lady at the pay window gave us the worst attitude, rolling her eyes, rude tone of voice and no compassion. Our first and last time.

Would not recommend this exact McDonald's. Not a good customer service, and prices are much higher than in the north. The coffee here was $2:49, but for example in Bakersfield, the same coffee costs $1.08. They even don't do refills there, despite the high price. Look like they don't take good care of their property. Look at the pictures.

Pathetic and slow service. We were in the drive thru for 20 minutes just waiting and only had 2 cars ahead of us.

I gave it 5 stars in service because at this particular restaurant and on this particular occasion, the service was great. However, this is crappy food. Unfortunately, when driving long distances, the choices of food are very limited. Next time, I would rather go hungry than eat their overpriced junk.

⭐ 1 Star (If I could give zero, I would) This was by far the **worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had**. We waited over **30 minutes** for a *small order*, and when it finally came out, it was **wrong**—missing the sauce we ordered. On top of that, the place was absolutely filthy. The **floor was sticky**, the entire restaurant had a **horrible smell**, and there was **trash everywhere**. Not a single clean table could be found, which is unacceptable for any dining establishment, especially one as busy and well-known as McDonald’s. The lack of cleanliness and poor service here is shocking. If management cares at all about their customers, this location needs a complete turnaround—better training, proper cleaning, and staff who can actually handle basic orders. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

States online they are open 24 hours and we were told on 8/29/25 at 12 am that they were closed. There were other people in the drive thru and we were sent away! If any managers or owners read this check on your employees! I’ll drive by here next time and go to the one in Santa Claris instead!

My experience at this McDonald's was disappointing due to the service I received from one of the employees. Although my order was correct this morning between 9 or 10, I don't really remember. The interaction with a woman wearing glasses was very unpleasant. From the moment I approached the counter, her attitude felt cold and unfriendly. She gave uncomfortable looks and lacked basic courtesy, which made the entire visit uncomfortable. This isn't the first time I've encountered this kind of behavior from the same employee. On previous visits, she has also shown a poor attitude, very little willingness to help, and no interest in providing good customer service. It's concerning that someone in such a customer-facing role consistently brings such negative energy. I hope management addresses this issue, as customer experience is about more than just getting your food — it's also about how you're treated. Attitudes like this hurt the reputation of the restaurant.
