Ristorante rustico, personale gentile e disponibile. Servizio veloce. La carne ottima, porzioni abbondanti. Qualità prezzo buona. Consigliatissimo!
Nulla da dire, questo ristorante praticamente è tra i nostri preferiti, ambiente accogliente cibo molto buono personale molto cordiale. Fiorentina mega consigliata!!
Excellent value, we spent about €30 per person (appetizer, first course, dessert, glass of wine, water, and coffee). The cured meats are delicious, truly top-notch. Overall, we were very satisfied!
The restaurant is located on the main street of a tiny, truly characteristic village. Weekly dinner menu for €13, with a choice of 1 first course, 1 second course with a side dish, water, and house wine; €11 with a choice of just one main course. Off-the-menu options are available, payable separately (dessert/fries). The menu changes, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, many locally sourced. A homey atmosphere in a rustic, clean, and tidy location. Several rooms are also available for events. Reservations are required, as this is a very popular restaurant. Dogs are welcome. Really well-organized and helpful service. Excellent value for money!!! Highly recommended, 5 stars well deserved!
Super
Restaurant nestled in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Andrea is the helpful, fast, friendly staff. Always top notch... You can never go wrong... for lunch or dinner... Satisfying... Fair prices, top quality. There's no parking for trucks...there's a ban on entering the village... Keep it up!
We had a fantastic meal here recently. I went with 5 other people and we shared a bottle of wine, apertivo & breads and each got a main and a desert or coffee. We each paid around 25 euros. The price felt good for so much delicious food. My pasta was the chestnut one from the region and was delicious - very buttery. The risotto was also good and huge portion. The lamb shanks were perfectly cooked. The restaurant was crowded on a Saturday night, you are squeezed in (something to note if you don’t like places on the noisier side). Overall, it was a great experience thay only could’ve been made better with an outside patio area to dine. If I lived in the area I’d definitely come back! 😎
Family lunch to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is rustic but welcoming, perhaps a little dark. We chose the autumn menu, starting with classic appetizers and an octopus salad. Two first courses include mushroom risotto (not exceptional) and delicious tortelli. The second course includes chocolate braised beef with potatoes and a fruit tart. Both white and red house wines are available. Oh, and we also ordered an off-menu item (two portions) of snails served with vegetables. The waiters were kind and quick. I'd say it was a great Sunday with friends.
A lovely osteria where the food is excellent! The cured meats and cheeses are the highlight, and let's not forget the meats, all excellent. The menu is varied, with traditional dishes and some more unusual ones. Definitely worth a try. The prices are truly excellent. The atmosphere is very comfortable, especially when there are few people, which is rarely the case.
The restaurant has a family atmosphere. The staff is polite, and the chef knows what he's dealing with and what he's cooking. The meats are excellent, with the added bonus of being aged. After eating an excellent Florentine steak from Rubia, on our return we had an excellent cut of Picanha and a Florentine steak. The aging is truly meticulous, with no blood loss from the meat and superb tenderness. The local salami tasting as an appetizer and the dessert were also excellent. An additional bonus is definitely the bill.
A colleague recommended Il Borgo, and it was a wonderful discovery. It's a casual place, the meat is excellent, and the prices are truly affordable. We dined on a Monday evening in December and were offered both the à la carte menu and the €12 set menu (starter, main course, side dish, wine, water, and coffee!). The appetizer to share was excellent.
Fantastic! My wife and I had dinner (again) at this restaurant, beautifully decorated, rustic with a touch of modernity, elegant. (Comfortable chairs) The cuisine is traditional, very good, generous portions (no, you won't go hungry, you'll leave feeling very satisfied!), beautifully presented, allergens clearly listed, and several alternatives are available, not plentiful but available and good. The place is clean, well-kept, and the staff is polite, friendly, and efficient. Prices are reasonable, good value, and the meat is truly fantastic! It melts in your mouth! And so are the cold cuts! Etc... Highly recommended restaurant, once you've tried it...you'll be back! Enjoy your meal.
Visited during a trip to the area and recommended by a friend who lives nearby. The atmosphere is informal yet pleasant. The products are of medium-high quality, prepared with good technique. I can't judge the value for money because lunch was offered to me. I think, however, that the price is reasonable for the quality of the dishes offered.
Good trattoria, interesting menus, exceptional meats and cured meats. Really nice. Reservations are required, and it gets very busy on weekends.
4 well-deserved stars. Everything was excellent. From the cold cuts to the starters, main courses, and desserts. My family and I were delighted. In addition to the cold cuts, the rice with Zola and walnuts was wonderful. The main courses included an excellent donkey stew with polenta. My wife had the tortelli cremasci. And to finish, an excellent tiramisu made by them. The only flaw is that the tables are almost next to each other, making you feel like you're dining with strangers... but that's only because the place is really small. We were lucky to find a table a bit apart from the others.
A family-friendly restaurant with an extensive menu and excellent ingredients. The marinated meat is delicious and tender, as are the cured meats and cheeses. The fried gnocco and sorbet aren't up to par, as they're too alcoholic. On the downside, the tables are small and too close together, as is the waiter, who wasn't aware of the existence of some dishes on the menu.
This is my third time here, and unfortunately, I confirm the same opinions I had the previous two times. No complaints about the food, excellent quality. The service needs a complete overhaul: too slow, inattentive (the second course arrived when the appetizer plates and platter were still waiting to be cleared away), and too hasty. Tables were crowded together and poorly managed: at my table, there were three of us at a table for two against a wall; the table behind mine had a customer sitting next to mine. As for me, the lack of customer service is palpable; I don't think I'll be back.
Let's start with the few positives: the grilled beef and mushroom risotto were truly delicious, and the baked potatoes, too. Everything else needs to be reconsidered: the roast beef was obscene, the ice cream cones with ragù inside are a dish I'd be ashamed to offer to a customer, the place was too crowded, like a South American prison 😂😂, and the dessert didn't arrive because we left after a 40-minute wait. My advice to the owners is to hire more staff and try to have fewer people crowding around. And the icing on the cake: that gentleman in the hat at the register, who isn't even the cashier, gratuitously insulted my wife. Get him out of there, because if he finds the wrong person, he risks getting beaten up. Have a good day.
Terrible experience. The staff's attitude was like a dockworker. The wait times are incredibly long if you don't book, they're poorly organized and confusing. The food? And who knows, after waiting over 15 minutes for our orders, we discovered that our neighbors had eaten their first course before we arrived and were still waiting for their second course. We left. Those who come for a set menu don't have time to waste. If you can't make it, let them know immediately, so don't waste people's time.
November 2025 Terrible experience. We arrived at 1:30 PM and our appetizer (a platter) was brought to us just a few minutes later. It was a shame we were then left with dirty dishes for over 45 minutes, with waitresses passing by, looking, and then moving on. All this while the dishes from the adjacent tables (which arrived after us) were arriving. When we complained about the delay and then decided to leave without waiting for the rest of the meal, we didn't even get an apology from the cashier (after we paid for our meal). More than the delay (which is something that can happen, especially on a Sunday at lunchtime), we were struck by the extreme rudeness and total disrespect toward the customer. Customers who, it's worth remembering, pay for service.
