Great food and service
Dining at its finest. At tremendous amount of research and skil goes into the presentation and preparation of each meal. Their wine pairing dinner events are an epicurian delight!
Always incredible food and ambience.. The owners and.wait staff are truly outstanding... On a one to five star rating scale...they are eight stars... Bob Suttmeier 👍
The Tavern had great history and great food. The haddock fish fry was a great price and was cooked perfectly. The pretzel bites had amazing sauce as well.
The food was excellent, service great, atmosphere cozy ! We are at Madison Bouckville antique show for the week and a business man in town suggested we go to Landmark, thanks Franz … great experience
Had dinner here 20 years ago when I lived in Canastota,NY. Almond crusted Rainbow Trout (with the head still on). To this day,it was one of the best dinners that I have ever consumed....
We ate dinner here. The staff were friendly and the food was superb.
We will miss this place. After having 10 years worth of students at colgate and always enjoying this restaurant in the vibe and food and drink.....we will totally miss this fantastic restaurant. Food is tremendous!
The Landmark is far better in every respect than the Colgate Inn. The food is superior, the surroundings are elegant and comfortable and the people are incomparably nicer
Great bass and steak. Loved the ambiance. Nice to find a restaurant that still trys (shaking my oldman fist).
One of my favorite restaurants on Route 20. Delicious food, wonderful wait staff and great ambiance.
Duck was fantastic, clam casino was the absolute best. Waitress was personable and efficient.
Small and homey the food is some of best in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Grilled Swordfish was delish, as well as squash, mixed rice pilaf and house salad!
Outstanding dining in upstate New York. I’ve never had a bad meal.
Everything was excellent as always! The food and service are second to none! Thank you.
Absolutely delicious food 😋 and excellent service. The antique colonial decor is always immaculate, and the classical music is so relaxing. A wonderful, and special restaurant for dinner 🍽
If you want to go back in time you have to visit this place. There's alot of history here. Not only did they serve great food but they are also a bed and breakfast with a few rooms upstairs. The food was delicious!
Stopped in on the home from a late soccer game. They were able to take us even though the kitchen was closing. Food was excellent, service was great and staff extremely friendly.
First went here on my honeymoon in 2018. We go back here to dinner every year. Have never had a bad experience. The service is excellent. The food is phenomenal. Sometime I would like to stay overnight. Just hasn't happened yet. 😊
Perfect classic dining. 55 years of quality food and atmosphere.
Anniversary dinner. It was wonderful. Friendly staff, delicious pumpkin bread, incredible stuffed mushroom appetizer, entrées were spot on, lovely atmosphere. I love the building, too! Highly recommend.
Always a 🥰 perfect meal ,I Always have the filet mignon when in the area, I stop in and treat myself. Excellent to perfection.

Easily the best menu, food, and ambiance you can find in Central NY outside of Syracuse, and worth a special trip if you're within an hour. The chef was well-trained at the Culinary Institute of America and knows what he is doing!
Great atmosphere, convenient location - EXCELLENT food. Meal arrived quickly, was presented beautifully, and tasted even better than it looked. Service was excellent, friendly, and prompt. It was a great choice for a cozy dinner and conversation with a friend. You wont regret your choice.
From the minute I called on the phone to see about coming in for dinner, i was greeted on the phone with a very courteous, cheerful fellow; who i later found out was the owner. It is a family run restaurant and small hotel/B&B. Our waitress was a very nice pleasant lady. The menu has a wide variety to choose from. From a burger served on a delicious homemade roll to roast duck or rack of lamb, they had it. For an appetizer the tempura cauliflower was absolutely delicious! A definite must have. Even my 87 year old dad who never eats vegetables, really like it. The waitress brought our food out as soon as it was cooked. Everyone's meal came out piping hot. The homemade desserts were to die for. Next time we're in the area, we will definitely be going back.
Awesome meals and service, nice quiet place to have conversation. Our group had a variety of plates (some shared) - stuffed mushroom appetizer, chicken schnitzel meal, swordfish special, Caesar salad and wedge salad, crème brûlée. All were really great! Service and staff were also friendly and very attentive. Nice find for short drive from Hamilton or Munnsville (less than 15 min). We are from Atlanta and have plenty of great restaurants available. I would say our meal was on par with the best we’ve had in Atlanta. Not ordinary and very tasty! How did we not find this place before?!
One of our favorite places to eat. Food and service are always top notch. Great 5 star atmosphere. Fabulous deserts. Try the chicken schnitzel with homemade German potato salad or lobster pot pie. A great relaxing dining experience.
Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed the evening. The service, the food, and the atmosphere was, as always, outstanding. Thanks again and we look forward to our next visit. Sam and Shirley
Loved it. Such a nice old place with history and excellent food. Every bit of the meal was delicious. Hard to believe a place like that is in such a small nothing town.
Set in an old Victorian style home.antique decor spread throughout. Ample parking in the rear. old style bar as you walk in. like stepping back in time but with culinary cuisine. Service with a smile. I ordered Filet Migeon it was juicy, tender, and the garlic herb butter was the icing on the cake. My wife really enjoyed the space and it made her feel happy which is a plus for me. HAPPY WIFE,HAPPY LIFE LOL.. Deffinantely a must dine in place.
Absolutely wonderful and amazingly charming historic hotel in the middle of Bouckville, NY. The staff was completely on point in making our stay memorable. This hotel eschews the beige corporate doldrums of chain hotels and celebrates it's history with you. All of the staff were just great and dinner was delicious. You must try the clams casino! (Thanks to our waiter for the professional and friendly service at dinner!) If you're looking for quaint, charming, quiet, relaxing and upscale - look no further!!! The owner and staff even accommodated a special request I had to make the anniversary celebration with my wife even more special. I simply cannot say enough about this establishment!
Always love eating here. Lovely, quiet atmosphere. Lots of room. Staf is so friendly but never in your face. They make a great martini! Everything I’ve had there has been good but I have to have the clams casino every time we go. Also, favor their fish dishes, like the haddock. I live pretty close and I could eat there every night.
We stopped in after not wanting to wait for BBQ. We are foodies from NYC and were so impressed with the quality of service, the historic building and the food. The menu is a mix of a chophouse with a large selection of chef selections from paella, pasta and schnitzel. The chef is a CIA graduate which is surprising to find in Central NY. The food was fresh and i noted that the chef makes his own bread, dressing, aioli's and desserts. It's clear the chef puts care into his work. We ordered - house salad - solid salad with house dressing. nice, nothing crazy - onion soup, this was excellent. really well done, from the croutons, cheese and flavor. wow - calamari - the only thing we didnt love - chicken schnitzle - excellent, authentic - scallops - fresh, perfectly cooked. a bit too sauced, but great - creamy garlic and spinach pasta - our kids didnt love, but decent The desserts were great as well. The restaurant was very accommodating to our casual attire and 3 young kids. Amazingly kind. The entire experience is a bit like going back in time, the historic nature of the setting is hard to explain, but you really feel it.
My wife and I were out for a drive and stopped here for dinner We felt underdressed but the staff did not make us feel unwelcome. The food was excellent We had appetizers and meals for a reasonable price. We will be back again, better dressed this time.

Fun and friendly
Delicious meal, outgoing and friendly staff.
Nice Ye Olde feel, super staff/owner.
Cool gem tucked away.. good Good! Stop by!
Great historic building good food....
Scallops were gritty. Everything else was very good. Clams Casino were excellent!
Very quaint place in sleepy Bouckville, NY. Comfortable and quiet rooms in a 175 yr old guest house, we stayed here and then went to dinner and a concert at Ray Bros BBQ just up the road.
Lovely dinner, great service and atmosphere. Cippino was good, good portion size but had too much fennel which overpowered the dish.
We stopped enroute home from Finger Lakes and had a lovely late lunch. Very nice food we loved the duck poutine! great service and nice old hotel.
Nice place, clean, friendly staff. The food is pricey for small portions.
Excellent service. Fantastic food. Looking forward to eating there again.
Thank you to everyone at the Landmark for their hospitality. The food was excellent. Our compliments. Sharyn & Mark
Great food and service, best clam chowder, salmon, baked haddock.
Excellent dinner, but took a while to get the food out
We chose to celebrate our daughter's college graduation here. The whole process from booking to our attentive waitress to the delicious food and desserts to the beautiful atmosphere exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this establishment for your dining or special event needs!!
I've never seen such a clean establishment. I am excited to eat there again. It's expensive but the flavor was there. I did as for the Black Angus to be medium rare and it was medium. Still tasted absolutely fantastic

Same decrepit interior design for decades
Excellent food and service. Had a private room for a special event. Only downside was the wine, it was spoiled (oxidized). Second glass of different type was also spoiled. Would guess it goes too slow or isn't kept cool enough.
I have eaten at this restaurant several times and it has been excellent. My favorite dish, seafood casserole, was not on the menu anymore so I ordered the stuffed shrimp. The meal was fair as the shrimp were not cooked right and the bread was cold and very hard, it was not freshly baked. I was too tired to complain.
Had the rehearsal dinner for my daughter's wedding here. It was not crowded, but service was VERY slow. When we finally got our entrees (2 hours after arriving) only half of them were fit to eat. The clam chowder was like wallpaper paste, the fish fry was waterlogged. A few of the dinners were as good as ever. We dined here years ago and always loved the place. Our first visit back after 20 years was a big disappointment.

Food was awful and overpriced. Never again.
This was the most ungracious experience I have ever had in a lodging. The proprietor actually jumped when she encountered my party. Everytime. There is zero indoor or outdoor public space. It has not been updated in any way for at least 40 years. Not even a lamp by the bed with a USB cord for charging. L
