My daughter loves McDonald's and anything that makes her smile and surprisingly everything was right with the order we got all of our sauces pretty good time.

Update! I first need to say I'm sorry , Mr Baylard and all who asked when McDonald's will be open. Good news is I did speak to the contractors it is planned to open in 7 Day's from this posting (hopefully) its going to be great your kids will love the all new LCD order and pay stations, everything is new and improved its going to be epic!😁 . Please Remember to support our Nurses their job is so very important we need them all. Stopped at hilmar McDonald's on business was greated right away by Madeline the girl at the register ready to take my order she explained the specials and explained that she brings food to table. Which helps alot cause I'm handicap. Also see she keeps her lobby very clean. Great hard worker and very friendly. I will be coming again. Great see a hard worker taking passion in there job. Thank you

Brand new McDonald's! Very modern look, especially for Hilmar. Has 2 self ordering kiosks which I have never seen. Leather chairs and benches are very comfortable. Lots of space in here for when it's busy. Lots of young adults from the nearby school. Clean restrooms.

This McDonald's always serves up fresher, hotter stuff. It's just a little town, but every time we go through it is like they just cook it right when you order! I'm lovin' it!

Repeat customer here. Always great service. Food is, well, McDonald's. The only place you can get fries that are equal parts stale and fresh. It's an enigma. I don't mind, the hold time is literally like 12 minutes and that's too much waste to throw them out the minute they're not perfect.

During the pandemic and everything reopening this was the cleanest McDonald’s I went too. I checked Atwater’s, Merced’s and none of them were as clean as this one. The employees all wore mask and gloves. The supervisor was very friendly and did a great job at maintaining everything in order. I felt safe and enjoyed my meal.

While it has been several years since I was here, I have gone a dozen or more times in the past as I was on my way to Turlock or Stockton for work. I went so far as to recommend this location to corporate for their exemplary customer service. The food is always great, the staff is easily in the top 0.1% of all McDonalds I've visited over the years and it's always clean. I witnessed an employee talk to several customers as they came up to him and no matter who they were or what they looked like, he treated each one as if the were a regular customer that he knew personally. This place is what all restaurants strive to be, seriously. Its a joy to eat here.

I just went for an iced coffee with caramel flavor. Staff is nice and efficient. It was clean.

The double quater pounders we got were really greasy this time. I mean really greasy. I ordered off the mobile app it was easy and quick. They did forget 1 double quater pounder but were really nice and quick about getting it for me.

Same quality that you would expect for any McD's. Had takeout breakfast for home consumption. I gave 4 stars (-1 star), because, I ordered 2 special order coffees and they had only 1 coffee ready at the takeout window. They gave us a free black coffee without the special order. It is always a good idea to go over the order again, before driving off to the pickup window.

Clean, but the my ice coffee was like plain water, I asked them to make it stronger but I had to pay more. Next time I just will look for an Starbucks, they know how to prepare good coffee.

About what you'd expect out of a McDonald's. It's often a place I stop to get a quick meal during a commute that takes me through Hilmar, but they have a bad habit of not salting the fries even when I specifically ask for it.

The Double Quarter Pounders we were served were very oily and greasy.... soaking through the cardboard box kind of greasy

Now that they focus primarily on the drive-through getting help inside is very difficult. But the food is always fresh!

The spirit was willing, but the service fell short. The staff was friendly and attentive, but it took a while for my order to come out.....

I went specifically for the french fries. I was given some from a different store and they were so good that I wanted more. The ones I got from here were very under cooked and just a complete disappointment.

Why don't you'll have plug in's for people to charge their phones in both inside and outside your place of business. All these places should have plug in's and even a place to sit down while their phones are CHARGING .you'll can still add them in both outside and inside ,okay and every place you'll have location .,this would definitely get you'll more business then you got now .think about it for a while and then apply it .and give more dip for the chicken nuggets and as well as salt and pepper and napkins to everyone that comes in to order, okay ,,3 dippes is not enough to use to eat the nuggets. And do not charge money to get more dip for the nuggets, that is totally stupid and DUMB to do that to everyone that buys nuggets .okay .that shows how greeded you'll turn out to be.

It's McDonald's, fries ,shakes ,premium burgers *cough cough* prices are up almost 10 % to pay for the dollar menu. But the staff here are very nice..friendly and attentive. That's the only reason they are getting a three star

Very nice place also fix the screen on the drive thru. Also they gave me 1 mc chicken instead of 3 also i asked for a large sprite they gave me large frys not blaming the workers but the microphone.

Deal meal very good, price is right for what you get. Excellent for seniors and children...

The food is okay, the drive-thru line moves pretty quickly even when busy, the food is almost always correct when they give it.. They never put ketchup in the bag unless you ask. This McDonald's gives the smallest yogurt parfaits I've ever seen

I give three stars because food prices are getting high and the food is getting smaller. I just ate 2 sausage egg McGriddles that cost $5 each. They were so small. It's not the $5 I have the problem with, it is the size. $5 should get a little more. The Griddle was not very good. The egg didn't taste like egg. Didn't have much of a flavor. The sausage is all I can taste and didn't seem like it was real sausage. Not sure what it was. Overall it was a good sandwich but for the price and the size it's not good enough.

I request a simple order & they still can't get me my damn bbq sauce. Slow customer service.

It's McDonald's; but they give water in those little plastic sundae cups. I get the sense that the proprietors feel abused by the clientele, and retaliate accordingly.

I like McDonald's quick service, however lately they keep forgetting an item or two. If you call and let them know, they will replace it on your next visit.

Food was very sloppy. And the chicken was rubbery and chewy. My hamburger was mangled looking and had its sauce all over itself.

My wife's chicken sandwich was terrible had hardly any sauce and only a couple of pillows was not like the picture at all.

They forget to put our fries in the bag and we didn't realize it until we got home with them food, two large fries cost quite a bit but not worth a 20 minute drive back :(

Is it just me or did this place REALLY go down hill?? Everytime i go u can taste the food is either old and reheated or that they ALWAYS pull the fries too early when their busy and their soggy as heck.. 2 stars cause i still like ur coke.

Everytime I take my grandchildren here we have to wait a long time for our food (dine in) and it is usually wrong. Plus when asked why is it taking so long the rude response is always we are trying. What are they trying to do is my question the yaking that is going on tells me everything I need to know.

Both Soda machines out of ice and most soda selections. Had to ask at counter for soda. Apparently had been that way awhile in talking to other patrons. Also told them twice about soda spill on floor. Was there 30 minutes and they never cleaned it up. Poor management and lazy employees.

We stopped at the Hilmar, CA store. The ice machine was empty. The napkins were behind the counter and the employee did not put any on our tray. We had to ask for them. The hash browns we're cold and the muffins we're cold and stale. We will not stop there again.

Not sure if the lady was annoyed but attitude was poor, no customer service, and made no attempt to even smile. I know it's a hot day but there were at least 3 flies inside the restaurant.

I've been there 4 times and each time they forget something I have to go back Props to the cook they give me my food cook to order all the time

I have become very disappointed with this store. Car lines are way to long for drive Thur. Food Quality isn’t like it should be. Very Disappointing experience with over cooked food or food that it’s cold. Price increase on all food has gone up. Some Employees are rude!

I left work like 42 minutes early last week and I absolutely never eat out like ever. Stopped at McDonald's cause I had no time to cook just ordered a big breakfast. They ended up putting the eggs in all the to go orders that sat for like 15-20 minutes while they remade eggs. I ended up being LATE to work a few minutes because I ended up waiting like 24 minutes just got down hot cakes and some eggs. If people go inside they should be prioritized over people who you don't even know what exact time they're going to show up .

Brand new restaurant and it was filthy. No one mans the front counter forcing customers to use the kiosk. When I'm going in only for a drink I should not have to wait and wait and wait more. I finally had to get assertive just to get my cup so I could fill it and go. Very disappointing.

One of the worst McDonald's, we order a caramel macchiato, and a quarter pounder and some other food for our kids on the receipt it was right. And I have never been to a slower drive though. I thought we were getting fast food, 3 or 4 cars behind us got the food and left already and we had to wait about 20 minutes. It's not like we live in the small town, we just drive by and expect a great american mcdonald's experience, but it was horrible and when my wife got the coffee it was water down. Didn't take like coffee more like water and a bit of caramel, we also add and paid for the extra caramel. Don't worry I will get in contact with HQ of MCD and deal with this. Maybe they can send a someone down to train them correctly.

Road weary all day. Went for a soda. Big sign in the window says DINING ROOM NOW OPEN. We got our drinks and sat down. Were asked to leave by employee even though the sign is 2 1/2 feet tall. We were ticked. Taco Bell next time.

This by far has been my worst experience at McDonald's in my 42 years of living.. I ordered clearly and concisely and my order was taken down .. I then paid and assumed my order was correct as it wasn't all on the board when I ordered.. After realizing at the pick up window my order was not correct I notified the attendant. I was treated rudely by all staff after this point ,was told I needed to move forward which I declined. I waited over 10 minutes for my orders to be made correctly and to be warm . My fries were given to me cold.. My burgers were shoved in the bag and smashed which I asked to be replaced. My drink wasn't given until I asked for it.. The manager rolled her eyes at me and told me to tell whoever I wanted to about this she didn't care. I hope the Hilmar McDonald's can be revamped , it might have been remodeled outside but the inside of the employees are rotten to the core.

By far the worst experience me & my co workers had in the Mc Donald’s drive thru today. The girl with the braces in the second window was very rude. We had ordered some chicken nuggets and mc chickens, and when we asked her for Buffalo sauce she rudely replied “ I’m gonna have to charge you.” Its not even so much of the fact that she wanted us to pay $0.50 each for each sauce, it was the tone and attitude in her voice. Very rude and snotty. Even in the end after we paid for the sauce she quickly threw it in my co workers hands and shut the window as fast as she could. No thank you or nothing. Very unprofessional. Mind you we ordered nuggets so sauce comes with them but whatever. Her attitude just made us not even want our food. Whoever the manager is, please talk to your employees about being keeping it kind and professional.

this location lets me down time and time again, food is what you’d expect from mcdonald’s what really causes my disappointment at this location every employee interaction i’ve had is is horrible and workers seem more interested in chatting it up with their colleagues than getting the small thing you’ve asked them to get.

Couldn't read the Manager's name well but it started with a "Y". One of the worst in terms of customer service I've ever seen, and the way she or they treat their employees who deserve much better. Theres a reason why I only pass hilmar and never enter. And its dangerous vicious people like her.

ALWAYS check your order before you leave the drive-thru because there's a good chance it's wrong. We were hoping that with the new remodel the service would be improved as well but that's one thing they didn't remodel. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: They still get your order wrong, even on something as simple as chicken nuggets. At least it's clean when you go inside.

Incompetent employee and rude manage on Sunday Feb 1st at approx 1:45 pm. Using the McDonald’s app, we were charged for our order. When we got to the window, the employee wanted a second code and proceeded to charge us for the order of the car behind us. She couldn’t figure out how to fix her mistake and I told her to go get some help. The manager came and was very condescending and had a smart attitude with us asking “why would you pay for your order twice“. When I started to get agitated because I was being blamed for the restaurants mistake, she accused me of “raising my voice with her.“ We were finally able to get our money back for the order that was not ours, but no apology was given as if it was our mistake. Very unprofessional.

I used to have a high opinion of this Mc Donald's. However, the last time I was there they hid all the condiments and napkins behind the counter, and did not give me the sweet and sour for my kids happy meal, which I probably could have lived with except no one is manning the front desk, so by the time I got the the condiments my food was cold.. I am sorry if I am paying $35.00 for fast food I expect perfection. As well, they are super chinsey with the trays. If you order multiple items at least bring them up on a tray, so I don't have to make multiple trips to my table. At this point why not just skip this BS and hit Texas Roadhouse? What a joke...

Horrible service. First window got my order wrong. I paid with Apple Pay. Second window comes with only a happy meal and not the second meal. I ask to add it. They won’t take Apple Pay. Told me to drive around and go back through the drive thru. Not happening when it wasn’t my mistake. She repeated my order to me. So I got a refund and will drive to Livingston from now on where service and food are up to McDonalds standards. Also reported to corporate office.

unfortunately not much positive at this location and its not an issue with the food. the soda is generally good and food is generally fresh.. and wait times are fine. this location needs a major attitude adjustment. in my experience it doesn't matter how I choose to pick up my order whether it's indoor, drive-thru or curbside. you're going to get the same negative bitter beer face service. it's not an isolated incident and it doesn't just happen with one specific person. I try to keep my reviews positive but I also keep it honest. just for clarity and transparency.... it's not even something they said to me... it's just the overall attitude... repetitively. I always just leave that place feeling like why do I continuously come here knowing I'm going to get a little bit of attitude like I'm making them go out of their way to hand me a soda through the window.. God forbid I ask for napkins or ketchup cuz when I do . literally i consistently get an exhale... a dirty look.. and before I can even get the last part of thank you out.. the window shuts & I get a cold shoulder. actually I just had a great idea the next time I go to this location, I'm going to make it a point to get the name of the person who stands out above the rest with a great attitude... Staff is generally rude in the drive thru on a daily basis except the girl who is there almost every morning taking orders and one gentleman in the evening.Today the girl handing out orders put a hot coffee out the window and said "here!" I told her it wasnt mine and sĥe rudly said "whats your order then " i told her I accidentally ordered curbside but the other lady told me it was fine to grab my order. (Iced drink is all) She slammed the window shut and was clearly mad. Donna then handed me my order and scalded me telling me she is upset because I'm wasting time and im in the wrong! I told her i offered to drive through to the curb but the other lady said it was fine. She then told me it is not fine and she understands why she slammed the window on me. I asked the girls name that slammed the window on me after her rude "here!" With a coffee thay wasnt mine and Donna declined giving her name. This isn't the first time Donna has been rude in the drive thru, and not the first time ive been made to feel like an inconvenience. If something this simple warrants treating customers poorly you need new staff because they clearly are in the wrong position
