Pho Ben has become my favorite spot for pho.After trying their rice dishes I became addicted to come back to eat their food. #49 beef and rice is a very good meal.Also the Rice and chicken with salad and egg roll is my favorite.Salad is crispy fresh.Chicken taste great and the rice is yummy and fresh Highly recommend.All servers and bussers are the best.They walk the extra mile to provide you with an exceptional service. Tables are always clean and even though they get busy.,they always manage to find a clean table for you.always with a smile.They serve your food in real time.You dont wait extra time for your meal.They serve you fast and polite,always checking on you.These team really make sure you are satisfied with your visit to their restaurant.Pho is delicious Combination is the best highly recommend. My visits to pho ben are always great.So far one out of 3 places in Houston where you can feel totally satisfied with service and food quality. Keep up the great job Team members you are the best !!

The service! The food! The atmosphere! 😍😍😍 This place is so cute! My roommate and I went for dinner, so it was even more charming at night! This place is such a vibe - it's so dreamy & has such a romantic aesthetic, as well as a vibe of wonderment & fancy like a scene out of Neverland from Peter Pan - making it a great place for couples, friends and family. As someone who's really into visual aesthetics, I enjoy a restaurant with really good food that also has a beautifully designed interior ☺ The service was insanely WOW! By chance, we just happened to go on a Friday night, but there was so much waitstaff, the entire process was just so smooooooth. I think in total, we had 5 different servers & bussers service us 😅 but that just made more of an impact on the overall experience. Lastly, the food was really great. The quality & freshness of ingredients really showed in the vibrant colors & presentation of their dishes. The food was rich & flavorful, but not heavy or greasy. Overall, definitely look forward to trying more of their menu. Another great place for me to acquire a better appreciation for Pho 🙏

New fave spot for bánh mì! I keep coming back just for the amazing bánh mì and their delicious lemonade. The food comes out FAST, which I love, and the egg rolls are soooo good. I’ve done carry-out before, but this time when I dined in, the manager came over to check on us, such a nice personal touch! Great food, fast service, and definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

First time here, food was good, service is alright. The service could be improved by having staff welcome patrons, suggest recommendations, offer support on questions, etc. Service wasn't bad, just the "ready to order", "everything good?" As well, I didnt know I was supposed to pay at the counter until I saw someone else do it. Place is a good spot if you are eating alone, lots of single/couple tables. Portion sizes are great compared to the new places with fancier interiors and smaller portions. Would come back

As a chicken pho enthusiast this review is only based on chicken pho as most people prefer the beef. Solid broth great portion good noodles. Inexpensive and great value. They don’t serve bottle water or sparkling. Chicken is a bit chunky I prefer strips but solid 4 and worth a visit.

Food was great, as always. We always get #16, Phở Tái Chín - Noodle soup with eye of round steak and lean brisket. Broth is always delicous, meat is always great. No complains there. The spring rolls are also delicious, specially adding sriracha to the peanut sauce and mixing it. The only downside was one time I went and when i asked for extra limes (was only given 2 slices to start off with), they said they couldn't give me extra, or if they did they'd have to charge me. Given that I only ask for Limes and Jalapeños, not the extra veggies, i didn't think i should be charged. In the same visit, i asked for extra meat, and never brought it out. How i know? My wife ordered the same order, without the extra meat and both looked identical. They then brought it out when i was almost finished eating (this was after we told them not to bring it out anymore, we did advise them of the missing extra meat). We haven't gone back since; but will probably try again, maybe this time i'll take my own limes. xD

Love the decor of the place, was pretty busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty much all tables were filled. Food was decent but the egg rolls were so bomb. Sad that they are 2 for $5!

The food was ok. I think the spring rolls were made in advance. The vermicelli bowl was heavy on the noodles and light on the lettuce. I was hoping for grilled pork but it was more like roasted pork. Service was five stars. Multiple people checked in on us. Our water glasses were never empty. Positive energy from the entire team.

I ordered the spicy beef noodles, I requested for it to be spicy and was disappointed on it being mild. The spring rolls were good along with the peanut sauce. Other than that the service was fast and the workers were friendly. Maybe it was the red beard that threw them off and they tried to play it safe with making my food mild. When someone ask for spicy, please make it spicy. 😩

I love the location! The staff is super friendly. I went today for my regular monthly pho, but I noticed a piece of hair in my chicken breast. I usually never make a fuss about things like this, and this is actually my first time experiencing an issue here. I come regularly and really enjoy this place, so I’d suggest considering hair nets for employees to help prevent this from happening again.

Their food is a hit or miss. The pho isn’t bad, it’s flavorful and comes in a big portion. Tried their shaking beef for the first time and it was tragic. Tough, dry, portions were small, and barely any sauce on it.

This used to be my favorite spot in the heights. Quality in terms of food has gone down during the last couple of years. I called for a pick up and they said it’ll be ready in 5 mins. Yeah, the quality of the shaking beef was not the best. Beef was dry, rice was covered in watery sauce and spilled everywhere in the bag. The sandwich was put together in a questionable way, like girl it wasn’t even toasted. A bit disappointed, will not be returning 😭 Staff is always great tho! Not the service just the food.

Be aware. If you order something, you will be paying for it whether you like the food or not. This was my first time trying Vietnamese food and was looking forwarded to trying PHO. I ordered the chicken noodle soup bowl and spring rolls. The spring rolls were delicious but the soup was not to my liking at all and did not want to take it to go as they tried me to do countless times. In the end, their “policy” prohibit exchanges or returns so I left having to pay for an order I did not enjoy.

I came to eat here with my friend and they served us bowls with BUGS INSIDE. Then they tried plucking it out but realized what they were doing and stopped. They offered me another bowl but truly I was so grossed out I just wanted to get up and leave. I didn’t notice until I WAS HALFWAY DONE! THE BUGS WHERE MIXED WITH THE GREENS. Then they proceeded to make me PAY!!!!!!!! They said I had to pay for the teas we ordered, how do I know they don’t have bugs or expired milk back there in the drinks dispensers! I will be making a health inspection report hopefully their fine is higher than $10.98 this is ridiculous. They didn't even care which makes me think this happens often! GROSS TERRIBLE SERVICE GO TO PHO NOW INSTEAD!!!!!!
