Came for the crawfish fest while in town Memorial Day weekend. This place is definitely a vibe.

Me and a group of friends ordered a table the previous day, we paid and went to the venue (SATURDAY) and had issues due to promoter and management not communicating. But, they honored our request and from there it was LIT! The vibe, the theme, the DJ.... LIT!

We went for the all you can eat crawfish event. First time here, I like the layout of the bar. Its actually an adult playground with a seesaw, merry go round and swings. I like the lil vibe. Drinks were pricey for the size and amount of alcohol, other than that, great experience will return most definitely!!

Love this place, Casie as my waitress did an amazing job, she’s one of the best workers I seen at Playground since I been attending. Fast drinks and even better bottle service, if anyone needs a waitress at this establishment she’s your best one. Great environment.

I had a blast when I attended Playground Houston, the DJ’s are cool in my opinion. I had a superb waitress named Casie, she exceeded my expectations. She was fast with my hookah, bottles and drinks when I placed a order. She’s definitely someone you want to book with in the near future. 5 stars all the way!

We visit this place Friday night, Nov 18. The ambiance was cool but when we got there around midnight, it was kinda empty. I had a fun time but the section they put us in was small and it was behind another section so it was hard to mingle with folks. I probably wouldn't get a section here again but it's a solid spot.

Came on a Saturday night, place was BUSY. absolutely no parking (you must always valet your car damn near anywhere in Houston) I want to say we paid $40 to get in and it was extremely busy! You MUST get a section to be able to have fun here. (really anywhere in htx) but there was really no dance floor? So we kinda just stood in the walk way areas LOL. The girls bathroom was super aesthetically pleasing (cute for instagram photos). Didn't order any drinks or hookah so could not tell experience on that

I’m from Chicago, so I was in Houston for the weekend for my birthday and they Charge women 40$ and men 60$ to get in. Don’t be expecting to sit down once you are in unless u was paying for a section or a table. They have like these swings by the bar but it’s only on one side of the bar. we paid 108$ to get in, Ig it’s an 8$ tax if you use your card. But besides all that the drinks was good, the bartender was very nice, and they play good music definitely was a decent time.

It was ok. We had to pay $40 to get in. The place wasnt that big, the speakers sounded very muffled and there was a lot of static. Everyone was just standing facing the dj and very few people danced. This wasnt what I expected of a nightclub.

The music was a mix of old rap and new. I was entertained regardless of all that was available but for a $40 entry fee and no empty places to sit is ridiculous, clearly a greedy establishment. This does not give club vibes it is a bar with lights and music. You can walk down to Axelrad and go inside for free and get cheaper drinks. For one person be prepared to spend $200+. I do want to note they have tons of security so don't worry about being harassed. Either way, it was a good night but with that entry fee, I won't come back unless that fee is for an artist performing.

cool place for older people mybe 38+, their Dj caters to older crowd on fridays no key glock, carti, toliver, travis scott, herbo... lots of old meek mill and young dolph tho for the older men.

Awful. There's a separate little hookah "stand" that you have to go buy hookah at for yourself IN CASH!! It doesn't make sense why we couldn't just order from our table. We didn't have cash, so they directed us to the ATM outside. We just walked out and went to a different hookah bar.

terrible customer service, cold food, unpleasant staff as a whole. i was kicked out for standing too close to someone’s section or maybe I was in the walk way? i’m honestly not sure what i did wrong, but it was packed and we had nowhere to stand. so instead of directing us to a common area where we could stand freely, they kicked JUST me out and told my (non-black) friend that she could stay. when asked for an explanation, they said “it doesn’t matter. if someone wants you gone, you gotta go”. we had only been there for maybe 10min, and when asked for a refund on my $40 entry fee, they said it wasn’t their fault I was kicked out, and that they don’t do refunds. not to mention the SHERIFF Hubert on duty, told me i was making a big deal over $40, and if I didn’t leave, he’d arrest me for trespassing, then proceeded to ask my friend to take his number, not knowing she was with me. once he saw me recording, he told her nevermind lol.. would never recommend this place.

My friend was raving about visiting this place for her birthday celebration. We got there December 11th around 9pm and was told we didn’t have a table and whatever transaction was done through the social media page, was not valid. After being moved 3 times between 9pm-1:30am. We were finally given a section and had 30 mins to celebrate. Not only did they ruin her birthday, but her deposit was not used towards the bottles nor refunded. And security were sooooooo RUDE. Houston has so many fun night life attraction, so you won’t catch me and my friends paying and settling for an awful experience at this place.

I flew in to Houston to celebrate with my friend on her birthday. When we got there, we were told that she had no section reserved for her, and they just put some tables together in the corner and had her party sit there near the bar. My friend had receipts and messages showing that she was supposed to have a section between her and whoever runs the Instagram account for this establishment. They claimed to not know who ran the account and basically refused to fix the situation. Don't waste your time nor money here.

When I first arrived, they checked my purse. I paid my money to get in. A female security guard immediately touches my breasts/ nipples!!! She did not ask to come into my personal space or give me any type of warning about the pat-frisk. There are no signs about pat frisk!! That pat down was not properly done! It was illegal and wrong!!!!I asked to speak to a manager and he apologized for my experience but said she is a women and she pat frisk females. I explained that doesn’t mean she did it correctly! I asked some of my friends if had they experienced this illegal pat frisk and they said yes!! I was violated and she’s a security guard, not a sheriff or HPD!!!! I Will be reporting this incident to the TABC ASAP!!!!

This club is very unprofessional and is ran by poor management. My friend prepaid for her section days before arriving. When she arrived to the club, the manager told her that the money she sent it was a scam, and they never received any money from her. My friend showed the manager proof of the conversation between her and whoever was writing her on Instagram from the clubs page. The manager said she had no idea what was going on and never tried to help my friend find a resolution even though we showed proof that we paid to the clubs correct cash app. I do not recommend this place to anyone because of how we were treated this night.

When we got there, her name wasn’t on the list and management kept giving her the run around. It took almost two hours to get a section and when she did, it took another 45 minutes to get bottle service. Poor, classless act by all involved and will never go here again. She was scammed by someone into reserving a section and never got any compensation for it. Terrible night

I booked my birthday party here for December 11 , 2021 and had 18 people show up. When I arrived I was told I had no section and was offered seating at the bar. As you can see by my receipts -“ I was taken care of” OBVIOUSLY NOT!!! The manager (white lady) said she didn’t know who I paid or who ran the Instagram. But yet the person on the account is using white hand emojis. I was embarrassed and humiliated in front of my party and the manger had no remorse. SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I was excited to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and after the first enitial security guard let us through, another told me I couldn’t come in. Granted it was like 1:30 am, but his tone and demeanor did not give security. He had no sense of de-escalating a situation and another security guard saw how all I wanted to ensure was how this did t happen to anyone else.

Horrible service, one of the male bartenders was very nasty and management sucks as well. They don't care about you or your money , will overcharge you and not give you your money back. Do not go here.

Beautiful venue. My girls and I purchased a section and were very satisfied with the bottle girls and service. However, the security guards are EXTREMELY rude, which ruined our time. One in particular harassed us most of the night and was aggressive for no reason, after we spent a lot of money in this establishment. There are so many other amazing nightclubs in Houston with an even better vibe and a comfortable environment. Trust me, take your money elsewhwre.

I reached out to get a section and paid my money, I realized immediately that I put the wrong date down which was the 14th but I needed the 15th he changed it and confirmed the change. I went the night of the 15th just for them to not be able to find my section I reached out to the guy and it took him 30 minutes to respond when he did respond he had the nerve to ask me WHY I DIDNT SHOW UP ON THE 14th! I sent him the screenshot stating we changed it to the 15th I asked him for my money back and still haven’t heard from him! Ruined my night

Security told me and my friends we had to buy 3 bottles in order to get a section. So instead we did general admission. Once inside I’ve notice no one had 3 bottles at their section, some people only had beer. They pick and choose who they want to let reserve a section.

This place is a complete joke. They can't even make a proper drink. My drink was so tart, we had to have another bartender remake it. Then, we take a seat at a 2 top table...literally just saw two people finish up there and leave, we sit there and shortly after, this server comes up to us. She tells us, if we don't want to spend $100 we have to move. Chileeee, we just purchased 36 dollar drinks (2 drinks plus 20% gratuity). And the place was more than half empty. We finished our mediocre drinks and left. Listen to the reviews, they simply suck.

The absolutely WORST! The ignorance of the staff that works at this place is unreal. I was out in Houston on vacation and decided to come to Playground one evening during club hours. I had a drink in my hand that I to put down on a table for a second to fix my clothes. A really ignorant server got in my face and started cursing saying she told people not to sit their cups on the table. And then threw my drink on the floor. And then continued to talk ignorant. Like the AUDACITY. Please TRAIN YOUR STAFF to have some respect for customers who's paying $40 /$60 to get up in this place!! They appear to do what they want to do since there is a ton of security in there!

Then I had questions regarding my section and they told me to stop asking questions because I’m overflowing the inbox but mind you I asked them two weeks prior and they left me on read. Then two days before my section I checked in to make sure everything will go smoothly and all I have to do is show up and pay for the bottles for my section and the person that is over the inbox told me to stop asking and just show up and have fun. I don’t know what that means because how can I have fun if I don’t know what I’m paying for. Then when I told them off, they apologize and said they would refund me, but I have never received a refund mind you it’s been two weeks. When I showed up to the venue, the people at the front took me to a section I did not pay for. I paid for the silver pack, but they took me to the black packet with less chairs, a small little table and when I ask to be moved because that is not what I paid for they had the audacity to catch an attitude like he is not a grown man. I should’ve known better when I was towering over him that he could do nothing for me. When I asked to speak to a manager, he acted like he had amnesia and didn’t know what that meant. Then I was getting loud with him because you’re not gonna play with my money nor time like I’m not having people come all the way From different states to celebrate this day with me. He finally let me talk to somebody and she was able to give me more wristbands, but by that time, my friends had already paid to come in. Then when it was time to pop the bottles, I went to the restroom because I didn’t know when they were coming out nor did they let me know in advance when they were coming out, so I thought I had some time to get myself together after what I had just endured. But as I was in the restroom, the bottle girls came out and didn’t even confirm They were coming out and popped the bottles without me even being in attendance. Then when I ask, can I get a redone because I wasn’t even here like how are you going to have a happy birthday sign with the birthday person not even sitting there. They told me that there is nothing they could do about it and I would have to pay an extra $200 just for them to wave a sign around with sparkler, not even including a bottle. On top of that I still did not receive the champagne nor the things that I was promised and they acted like they didn’t know what that meant and when I showed them the text, they did not know who I was talking to Like it wasn’t Off of their website. If you want to Have an awful time at the section with TikTok music and with terrible customer service. This is the place to book with. They would give you everything you didn’t ask for and make your experience. The worst you ever had. They did a very good job of making sure of that. Then the security guards kept coming around my table, specifically looking at my friends, making them feel highly uncomfortable and always kept checking up on us, but not any other table. Then when my friend put her head down for not even five seconds one of the security guards came running at us telling her she had to leave mind you she helped pay for one of the bottles so how are you gonna ask for her to leave? When this is also some of her section too. Overall, the experience was terrible and I would never book again. This place needs to be Shut down and never reopened .

Then two days before my section I checked in to make sure everything will go smoothly and all I have to do is show up and pay for the bottles for my section and the person that is over the inbox told me to stop asking and just show up and have fun. I don’t know what that means because how can I have fun if I don’t know what I’m paying for. Then when I told them off, they apologize and said they would refund me, but I have never received a refund mind you it’s been two weeks. When I showed up to the venue, the people at the front took me to a section I did not pay for. I paid for the silver pack, but they took me to the black packet with less chairs, a small little table and when I ask to be moved because that is not what I paid for they had the audacity to catch an attitude like he is not a grown man. I should’ve known better when I was towering over him that he could do nothing for me. When I asked to speak to a manager, he acted like he had amnesia and didn’t know what that meant. Then I was getting loud with him because you’re not gonna play with my money nor time like I’m not having people come all the way From different states to celebrate this day with me. He finally let me talk to somebody and she was able to give me more wristbands, but by that time, my friends had already paid to come in. Then when it was time to pop the bottles, I went to the restroom because I didn’t know when they were coming out nor did they let me know in advance when they were coming out, so I thought I had some time to get myself together after what I had just endured. But as I was in the restroom, the bottle girls came out and didn’t even confirm They were coming out and popped the bottles without me even being in attendance. Then when I ask, can I get a redone because I wasn’t even here like how are you going to have a happy birthday sign with the birthday person not even sitting there. They told me that there is nothing they could do about it and I would have to pay an extra $200 just for them to wave a sign around with sparkler, not even including a bottle. On top of that I still did not receive the champagne nor the things that I was promised and they acted like they didn’t know what that meant and when I showed them the text, they did not know who I was talking to Like it wasn’t Off of their website. If you want to Have an awful time at the section with TikTok music and with terrible customer service. This is the place to book with. They would give you everything you didn’t ask for and make your experience. The worst you ever had. They did a very good job of making sure of that. Then the security guards kept coming around my table, specifically looking at my friends, making them feel highly uncomfortable and always kept checking up on us, but not any other table. Then when my friend put her head down for not even five seconds one of the security guards came running at us telling her she had to leave mind you she helped pay for one of the bottles so how are you gonna ask for her to leave? When this is also some of her section too. Overall, the experience was terrible and I would never book again. This place needs to be Shut down and never reopened .

I reached out to get a section and paid my money, I realized immediately that I put the wrong date down which was the 14th but I needed the 15th he changed it and confirmed the change. I went the night of the 15th just for them to not be able to find my section I reached out to the guy and it took him 30 minutes to respond when he did respond he had the nerve to ask me WHY I DIDNT SHOW UP ON THE 14th! I sent him the screenshot stating we changed it to the 15th I asked him for my money back and still haven’t heard from him! Ruined my night

The security said a 70 year old woman was rude and can’t get in smh. I never given bad reviews but they took our money and then told us we only allow 10 people per booth. The security lady said they run this. Whenever we are in town I’ll tell all my customers to never come here.

This place was a complete disaster form the moment we walked into the door! Nobody had any since of direction! Everyone was complete clueless. We arrived for or sections which was booked months in advance. Once we arrived the line for section was massively long! The police and the police at the door was massively aggressive. This was on a Saturday night! It was 60$ for self parking which is beyond overpriced when parking your own vehicle. After paying for parking we was told the sections are “overbooked” and we didn’t have a section they would make someone leave at 12:30. Again this was booked months in advance. It was completely chaotic. It took them a whole hour to set us and we literally had 30-45 mins at a section it was a complete scam waste of time and money. I will not be back. Take your money and book your sections elsewhere. Beware! When they say don’t waste your money there better places in Houston they mean that. They need some new management! Horrible first and last experience!

They blamed us saying that “Eventbrite isn’t a legit source” then why do you promote it on your instagram and have it advertised on there as well. The girl at the front taking people’s money was very rude and couldn’t answer anything because she knew they were in the wrong. Putting blame on the customer is insane when YOUR CLUB advertised this was an 18+ ALL AGES event. Will not he returning to this establishment and I will be telling everyone else to also not come here.

Customer service isn’t the best, drinks are mid. The biggest prob my friend and I was at a 2 seat bar stool “table”. We were told after midnight if you don’t spend $200 (or something like that) you have to give up your table to someone (outside standing in line who’s trying to get in) who’s willing to pay 😆 So, they made us give up our table and we had to basically just stand around, but we left. The place was def packed, but it was odd & the service/workers was horrible. Food truck outside was nice/good!! You definitely have to know someone or have a section to get good service!

My friend that was with got a tequila sunrise at 10 and it was $12. He went back for another one and they charged him $22. I suggest going to 5015. I liked their vibe better.

I booked a black section ahead of time plus sent $100 fee when I arrived they said my name was not on the list fast-forward to when we enter. It was not a section at all. It was a small table right by the entrance when I say a small table I mean a SMALL table with 4 uncomfortable chairs (I told them ahead of time it was a group of 5). The ground was uneven , really cold with no heat lamps. We ended up leaving it wasn’t even worth staying. 0/10 would no recommend.
