This is my most favorite restaurant. I absolutely love this food even though I'm not supposed to have fried food very much.

I got the Baja rice bowl Sep 2,2019 about 4:23pm. It was perfect and Richie who was running the window was very friendly and profession.

Food was fresh, tasty and the staff was amazing.

I have been going to LJS since I was a kid. They closed my hometown location so I was so stoked to find this one! I went in December and maybe the building being like 50 years old helped the vibes but it actually felt like Christmas in here. The manager had decorated it with lots of cute gnomes and snowflakes. My food came out with a good balance of crispy and greasy 🤤 Caleb was a nice cashier and the white dude with glasses frying in the back looked like he was working hard. I really hope this location stays open for several more years 🥲

Wonderful food, wonderful customer service. The store very clean and spotless. I used to come here as a kid, my favorite place to eat because of the bell at the exit. Going to ring it again like old times

It was a blast from the past. The last time I was in a Long John Silver was when we had one in Conroe. My BFF took me here on an outing the other day. It was definitely the same as I remembered. Little scrunchies on the plate and all.

This spot is hands down the best tasting location. Everything is always fresh. The staff is no BS, they're top-notch!

One of my favorites, they always have been, I gave it a 4 stars because the food was just a bit off on this trip, chicken was thin but good flavor & the slaw wasn't quite the same, but the last time it was delicious as usual 😋 we will be going back because I'm sure that it was probably just an off day

Long John Silver's is my favorite childhood restaurant! I'm so glad that this location is not too far away from me. I have had no problems. The food is delicious as always, and the staff has always been friendly to me. The way the restaurant looks inside reminds me so much of the Long John Silver's from my childhood. Love it so much! 🎣😋

I've been here a couple of times. Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. A lot of restaurants don't have malt vinegar available, but this place gets me and my intentions when I eat fried fish. The batter was great, very crispy, and not soggy. The sides were delicious. I always get fries and coleslaw. Every time I go, this place is busy, which speaks volumes for their business. I need to try more of their items, but I'm kinda stuck on the fried fish. I did try their fried clams today. They were not bad, and I'm glad I tried them, but not for me. They have cheesecake factory deserts. Maybe I'll try those next time.

Im very surprised to see such a low rating for this location after receiving such amazing customer service from the young lady at the drive thru. My family and I came on 09/15/2020 to pick up some dinner. As we pulled up to the speaker at the drive thru and began to go over the menu we were greeted by a young lady that was very patient and had an amazing attitude. After placing our order we pulled up to the window and payed for our order. The young lady continued with her great attitude never once showed that she hated to be there or ever showed frustration. Once I received my food I headed home to eat. I arrived at my house and looked over my order and everything was right and looked very delicious and in deed it was.. well made nice a crispy. I recommend this location on 59 and 1960 for their great service and delicious food. Thank you to all the employees that were there on this day for the great service and for the delicious food and great amazing attitudes ...but most of all thank you for wearing you masks and gloves as we all are going through this pandemic.

I really like the way the crust is on the fish and the chicken. Been a fan for long time.

The 6 pieces of fish and 6 shrimp. Ok taste. The fish was heavy coated. Very hard to chew. The shrimp was tiny. Breading was thin barely covering shrimp. I only come once every two months. I can't afford to buy food out and drive from Dayton Texas to Humble Texas.

They were nice and at first glance the place seemed clean however the bathroom could use a bit more attention. When I checked my food as I always do they had given me a box full of those crusties and hardly any fries. Not cool. So when I asked for more they obliged with no complaints. But all in all it was alright and I like their food (when cooked right). I will be back. 😁

Slowest service ever... but even after a 40 minute wait it was the LJS flavor that takes you back to your childhood memories of paper pirate hats, hushpuppies and chicken planks .but not anywhere near the prices of the past unfortunately, just like everywhere else. Still loved it, although prices everywhere are getting ridiculous, we spent almost 70.00 for two of us getting meals, shrimp added etc just to reminisce the good ol days on a surprise find that one was still around in Humble. It wasn't very busy and everyone was waiting much longer than you'd expect but I think it was new staff getting overwhelmed cooking from sounds of it. No big deal, wasn't in a hurry, got more time to sit and talk. Will go back this week and see if it's same or not, but the food was perfect for our orders once they got everything ordered out to us eventually. Mgr was working hard to be everywhere with Register and helping others for the hour or so we were there, and even as frustrated as you could tell he was getting never stopped being friendly, smiling, and welcoming to everyone that came in the door, brought our food out and immediately corrected anything on our order. Traveled from opposite side of town when found out about this location(all other closed down). I was very excited to as met another person drove from Conroe. The food was not the famous Long John taste famous for as food was had an overfried taste and the new waffle fries were hard, prefer original fries. Customer service guy was ok.

It's long john silvers. If you like their food it's delicious. Still looks the same it always has. Staff not very friendly they were taking turns sitting in lobby.

It's an old location but if you want LJS then you take it. The facility wasn't as clean as it could be but maybe because of age. The condiment bar was clean and my food came out in about 5 minutes. Update 11/3/25: no starter sauce at the condiment bar. You have to ask for it after the fact and it comes in very small containers of about 1/2 ounce. The lids for the drink cups were all covered in coke syrup and no one seemed to care. Maybe last time coming here.

Food was LJS food, overly greasy but good. Service was good. But man was it filthy!!!. One young woman must have been working the drive-thru window, she straightened up where you get your ketchup and utensils, but no one swept the dirty floor!

Don't go if you're in a hurry, because the food is made when ordered. I hadn't been to LJS in many years, but I was looking for something other than chicken tenders and burgers. I ordered the cod. I don't regret it, but i think the Pollock is better. I used the drive thru, so I can't speak on the atmosphere. It was your typical 'fast' food experience.

This location is the worst I've ever been to. Just moved to the area. Drove 20 min to get my fish on. Start fish was not freshly cooked and cold. Fries where hard and cold, definitely was not fresh. Coleslaw tasted slimey. Hushpuppies where fresh and good. Ask for tartar sauce they had none. Ask for a bunch of malt vinegar then got 2. Guess I should have took 5 more minutes and went up the road to Captain D's. Lesson learned. Ending with $39 for an 8 piece fish meal with two sides, fries coleslaw & 8 hushpuppies. Wow Only thing worth eating was the Hushpuppies!

Smaller portions of fish and chicken. I think they literally cut the chicken in half and cut the fish down to a third of what it was. The Place on 1960 in humble was really dirty. Only had two workers and as they were doing the best they could they aesthetic of the place suffered. The music was a mix of rap and something else. Was not impressed.

Before I retired I'd go here to get a 'treasure chest' of 6 fish fillers w/ 2 sides for $10-12, very filling for my long drive home in traffic. Now, examining the menu, the most fish this fish place offered was 2 !! The fish fillets are now HALF the size they were 2 yrs. ago and the chicken 'planks', they used to call them are only 5/8 the size they used to be, terrible. So, I order the most bang for the buck, the platter w/ 2 fish, 3 chicken strips for #13.99, 2 sides, drink not included. The little fish, in number & size, are NO LONGER WORTH going to LJS's, sad to say.

They should be shame. everything was microwave in the fish being reheated in the microwave. To the fish sandwich with the bun on being reheated in the microwave. Naturally, everything tasted horrible. Three dollars straight to the trashcan. When I mentioned that the food was all right, they had the nerve to tell me it was fresh. I mentioned that I eat long down all the time and never is it dried out and hard to chew. They drop three pieces of shrimp and gave me fresh. It tasted nothing like the fish. It was hot and juicy. Yeah, this place in humble is no good. And it was dirty in there.

They were very short staffed and the wait was long. To long for me and the wife so we ended up walking out and going somewhere else. Was not the staffs fault, they just didn't have enough staff. I felt bad for them really.

I drove about an hour to get to this location Long John Silver because the reviews said that the place was clean and food was hot and good. Well I was very disappointed. I went through the drive thru and the food was NOT fresh. It was hot but the flavor was horrible. Just Extra Salty old cooking oil. I could Not and Did not eat my shrimp because the smell and the taste was Old and Rotten seems the fish and shrimp was fried in a bunch of bad old cooking oil. The fish was very soaked in old cooking oil the color was dark and the fish and the shrimp was not Fresh at All. The cole slaw was brown and it looks like it was old leftovers from somebody else leftovers and through it in the trash. I basically wasted $16 dollars and I was very disappointed and will never return again..

On Saturday February 17th, 2024 around 2:30 pm I came into the Humble, TX location.. I went in with my family and it was really busy. The Cashier's name was Leslie and she was really busy on the front line and she was working really hard to get all of our orders out. The manager was done taking orders for the drive-thru and walked to the back of the store and left the front Cashier by herself for 5-10 minutes when business was really busy. The manager then came back to the front and started screaming at the Cashier because she wasn't getting the orders out fast enough. The cashier tried to explain to the manager that the monitors went down and that she had to manually print off the receipts from the register so she could know what order to send out. So because of that it was taking longer to get orders out. After that the manager snapped and got really disrespectful with the Cashier and accused her of pushing the wrong button on the monitor. The Cashier tried to defend herself and tell the manager that she didn't push the wrong button and then the manager yelled at the Cashier and screamed YES YOU DID. The Cashier was taken back for a moment because of how disrespectful her manager was being towards her.. and I could tell that she was hurt or maybe embarrassed by the disrespect in front of the customers. The worst part about this situation is that after being disrespectful to the Cashier.. the manager then got upset and said "Stop crying. Do you really think our customers want to see you crying like a baby." I felt so bad for the Cashier after her manager disrespected her like that. The cashier was so nice and gave us a wonderful experience. She was really working hard at getting all of our orders out and keeping a positive attitude after being disrespected like that. I feel as if the Manager of that store acted in a completely unprofessional, disrespectful way. Something NEEDED to be done about the way she treats her crew. I tried to console the Cashier after everything happened with her manager and she still proceeded to tell me that everything was okay. Leslie was so sweet and so kind..and her positivity was about the only good thing I can speak of about my experience at this location.

I had to give it a star to comment. I sat at the drive thru for 24 mins after being told to pull up. I honked, honked, honked and honked but still no service, heck they may think I am still there! 😆 😆. Such sad service and they wonder why they are closing down!!!!!!

I really wanted to like the food. The outside looks run down, the fish is half the size as it used to be. I got some big 45$ box for the family and it ended up basically in the trash. The fish was super dry, the coleslaw was sour and after that no one wanted to touch the food. It was late that day like 845pm so I didn't want to go back. Avoid it all the way!! Don't make a $45 dollar mistake.

Had to make an emergency trip to Tx. Stopped in before e heading back home. Never ever again. The Tea was rancid and so was the coleslaw. Needless to say I could not enjoy a meal there. I refuse to drink rancid tea or eat nasty coleslaw. They are obviously short staffed which creates a lot of stress on the employees. . When I notified one of the employees about the issues they went and informed the manager who I heard very clearly say, "What do you want me to do about it?, It's not my problem." This is a management issue it seems like all she cares about is her paycheck. I won't ever go back there.

When inside, I watched the manager take a cup from a female hands because she didn’t get water in the water cup. Although this isn’t right, he violated her space and could have caused an altercation as he should have verbally used I’m his words instead of snatching the cup from her hand and denying to give her another cup. They have to do better and clean inside

The dining room is definitely a health code violation! Everything was dirty, booth, chairs, tables, napkins dispensers, and my feet were sticking to the floor. I am sure this building is really old, but that does not excuse being filthy. The cashier literally said I hope no one else comes in here while I’m trying to clean and then hit her vape at the register. I am not sure what she was trying to clean, but I can guarantee she doesn’t work enough hours in one day to get that place not to be a public health risk.

I visited this location earlier this afternoon. Kyle who took our order was very pleasant and kind. The food received was not up to par. My fries were cold, my mom food was cold in entirely. I asked for new fries no problem. My mom asked for who food to be made over. She was not rude about it. They made it right and we were grateful. A older female employee I believe to be the manager. She proceeded to sit across the room and complain to another employee about my mom saying the food was cold. Not only was this unprofessional, it’s no way to treat a customer. This lady kept looking in our direction, making eye contact with me all while talking about my mom. This was an unfortunate experience and this employee should reevaluate working in customer service.

Drive thru order #10. Received wrong order and quickly reversed and honked a few times. No response so I walked in and let them know about wrong order and commented how small the fish size was, the chicken was bigger. He said that's the biggest fish they had and give me an "extra" lol. 3 of these tiny fish portions barely completely 1 of what I had before at other locations. I should have just asked for a refund.

I will never eat here again! I ordered a fish and shrimp plater with slaw and green beans. When my food was brought to my table, they forgot the shrimp and green beans. I asked about the shrimp, and they did bring me the shrimp, but I wished they hadn't. It looked like it was cooked in oil that was too cool. 1 fish looked and felt like it had been setting under a heat lamp for days. The other looked like it was cooked in the same oil as the shrimp. The soda machine needs some serious clean. I ended up only eating the slaw.

My 2 pcs fish and fries were cold and then I realized that the fish were half the size they were 6 months ago. As far as the owner goes they don't give a shit how filthy the store is and the restroom was horrible filthy and nasty plus the door wouldn't close so I had to urinate with my back to the door and mirror. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Hey owner you should be ashamed of yourself for such a nasty restraunt. I have frequented this LJS for years, way longer than I probably should have. Today, was just the cherry on top. I order a 6 piece chicken (added a piece) and asked for extra crumbs in my box. Simple request, so I thought. I get my order, as seen in the attached picture there are no crumbs, almost like they took them out on purpose…… no condiments were in the bag (not even offered) and the chicken has clearly gotten smaller (these were like chicken strips! I paid almost $19 for this single meal to receive this, UNACCEPTABLE!

Next time someone places an order please check the inside of your box. My coleslaw had mold around the edge of the plastic top. So gross. I called and no answer.

I’ve eaten at this location many times, but it’s been a long time ago. It used to be great, but tonight it was horrible. Our food came out VERY fast, which didn’t seem right. It usually takes a little while when it’s cooked fresh. I ordered the 3 piece chicken meal with fries for both of my sides. The chicken was extremely small and cold like it had been sitting there for a while. The waffle fries were ok, but I only had maybe 8 fries total (for a double order, that seems small). My husband ordered the 2 piece fish meal and same thing. Very small pieces and they were cold. One of the employees was on speaker phone with somebody or listening to something with extremely foul language (somebody dropping F bombs like crazy). The restaurant itself is very old and grubby. This location could seriously use new management and probably a new building at some point.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the quality of food I recently received at Long John Silver’s. This used to be a restaurant I could depend on for good food, but the experience I had on my last visit was absolutely unacceptable. To begin with, the fish was barely half the size it used to be. The hush puppies were hard and tasted as though they had been cooked in old grease. I took one spoonful of the coleslaw and immediately had to spit it out—it was that bad. The overall quality was so poor that it is beyond my comprehension how this location is still in business. Based on this experience, I will never patronize this establishment again. I hope you take this feedback seriously, because the decline in quality is truly astonishing.

Absolutely disgusting in this restaurant. From the floors to the soda lids with dried soda on them. Soap down the walls, bathroom was worse than side road gas station and out of paper towels. The floor was sticky and looked liked it has not been properly cleaned in years. To top it off they bumped my order and had me wating for 45 minutes for shrimp, fish, and chicken. I had to remind them and show my receipt to get my food and I was THE ONLY ONE IN THE STORE!!! Never will I go back this place needs to be shut down and cleaned properly! Zoom in on the soda lids!

Ordered 2pc chicken combo, the chicken was small the fries were old NOT fresh , and the 2 hushpuppies were old had a weird color maybe they had been sitting for a longtime 11/02/2025 7:08PM I know there only a few left in Humble and if any in Houston I guess this is the end for this business, because the two other cars that were there were waiting outside in their cars maybe they got fresh food . I went here awhile back and saw that it was nasty dirty. There was batter wasted and dried up on the counters and food crumbs raw and cooked all over the floor in the work areas. I went yesterday thinking maybe they changed management and they cleaned it up. I went straight to look back in the work area and found not only was it still filthy with food pieces and crumbs all over the floor behind the counter but there was a large amount of cooked food sitting in the baskets under the heat lamps waiting for someone to order. It was no one in the drive thru and one couple eating inside. Why was all that food already cooked and sitting. I love Long John Silver but I have to drive far from my home to get it because I cannot eat at this location. I’m not going to forget the childish written signs in the parking area telling you which parking is for the restaurant. Long John Silver do better.

The cashier was our first clue that we should have just turned around and went elsewhere. She was not pleasant at all. She was rude and acted like we were bothering her. The place was not clean. We over heard her tell her coworker that he'd been dropping a lot of food lately. Not exactly what we wanted to hear as we were eating. Our food came out extremely quickly. Didn't look fresh not taste fresh. It wasn't even hot. The coleslaw has zero slaw taste but instead tasted like a shredded head of unwashed cabbage. Don't recommend going to this location

I have never eaten at a Long John Silver's and the food is this bad. The fries were cold and taste as if they could have been cooked on September the 1st. Today is September the 2nd, 2025. There is a reason I was not given a receipt. The fish was OK. Not hot, not even warm. I ordered the 2 piece fish &shrimp. Time between 11:30 & 11:50. I think it's time I part ways with Long John Siver. 2 piece fish and shrimp $17 dollars and change. Fish cold, fries cold & old. My name is Billyray.

Well I just walked in,and no customers were inside. The lobby was disgustingly filthy. Me and my wife still proceeded to the counter where we looked at the menu board. There were two employees behind the counter not once acknowledging us after a few more awkward minutes we ended up leaving. I'm not going to pay those prices for crappy customer service. So sad I love Long John Silvers.
