The 2 females employees seating at the end of the restaurant were blasting music on their phone and being extremely rude. Our server Joey was amazing even tho the music was so loud and got louder he was able to take our order and provide us with an amazing service. He politely ask her to lowered it down 2 times and she yelled at him which made my little girls scared. We have never encountered such a bad experience but Joey made it up is with some cool magic tricks . Can’t wait for our 1314 location to open. Hopefully Joey will be our server. Thank you Joey keep up the good work.

Decided to stop for a quick dinner after a long day out. I love breakfast for lunch or dinner, so that's what we had. The All-Star breakfast with a well-done crispy pecan waffle, half cheese grits, half hashbrowns with onions and cheese. I wish I had some now 😊 I even bought their cute Christmas mug!

I'm from Utah and they don't have Waffle House's there. The Waffles are delicious and the bacon is seasoned and cooked well. Eggs are deliciously cooked to order. Oh and if you haven't had grits before and are feeling adventurous I recommend them. Not to mention the friendly speedy staff. :)

This was my first-ever visit to a Waffle House! I live in SoCal and I’ve definitely heard the lore of a Waffle House, but I was amazed by the cleanliness of the restaurant and how wonderful the staff is! Dee Dee was my server, and she was so incredibly kind and welcoming that it put a positive experience for me.

The staff was so friendly and efficient, we’re traveling and it felt like we got to see the real Texas! Food was what we expected, not our usual fare but they did a good job. Best place in the neighborhood.

I was in Texas in early April for a vacation and one of my bucket list food places was to finally visit a Waffle House. I have heard about them for so long, I knew I had to go and try it out. In fact, it was the first place I went after I landed in Houston and picked up my rental car. This location was easy to get to and there was a lot of parking (where I am from parking is a big deal). The restaurant was quite busy when I was there for a late, Saturday breakfast, and was smaller than I had been expecting. I liked how the kitchen area was right out in the open. They had a lot of staff on hand and everyone I talked to was friendly. The service was fast and the food came out quickly. I had the All Star Special breakfast platter. I found out later from a Waffle House expert friend, I should have ordered a special gravy-covered side dish but the grits I had were nice. The two eggs were cooked perfectly and were just how I ordered. The sausages were salty and tasty. The real star of the breakfast was the waffle. It was the size of a dinner plate and was extra tasty when combined with their whipped butter and syrup. It was a golden brown, crispy waffle with a soft, chewy center. The coffee was nice and strong. I was even offered a refill in a to-go cup without asking if that was possible. I had already had my fill but loved that they asked. Overall, my first (and currently only) visit to a Waffle House was just what I had hoped for. A great plate of breakfast food, great service and a friendly, fun diner. I would go to another one if the opportunity came up. Also, I found the prices were very reasonable!

What a perfect experience. Long day of travel. Checked into the hotel next door. Very hungry. Getting late. What's that you say? A 24 hour Waffle House not even a two minute walk away? I am so there! I was greeted with smiles, had a very nice waitress take my order, and quickly had expertly prepared food on my table. Come on, it's a Waffle House, but that cook put out some good eggs, toast and especially hash browns. Thank you Waffle House!

I decided to come to this location based on reviews. Initially I wondered if I was at the correct Waffle House because the service definitely didn't match the reviews I had read. Or maybe it's because I came in the evening; the good servers always work the busiest hours lol. Nevertheless once they saw me posting photos my service improved. Coincidence? 🤔 🤷🏼‍♀️ Although the service started out so-so (dismissive actually) the food was the same as you expect from the Souths favorite breakfast restaurant. Ummm-ummm. Actually I did unintentionally "ummmmm" when I bit into my scrambled eggs with cheese; which didn't go unnoticed by one of the servers.🤭 🤣 Delicious! 😋 I also had the famous waffle. Although there wasn't anything impromptu when I took a bite it was still good. I did acknowledge the deliciousness of my, cooked to perfection, eggs to the cook before departing my visit. Better to hear compliments than complaints imo!

When I arrived, I was the only customer but soon other customers starting arriving. At no point was the restaurant full, but the time I went was between lunch and dinner. The restaurant appeared clean and the staff was friendly. The cook had no issues with me asking him to cook the bacon a little longer as I like it very crispy. I ordered the All Star Special with eggs over medium, bacon, wheat toast, grits, and a blueberry waffle. I had them pack the waffle to go because it was so much food. The grits and bacon were excellent. The toast was nicely buttered. The eggs were just a tad too runny for over medium but still had a good flavor. The menu is not extensive and the food is not fancy. Basically, this is a good place to come for comfort food. If you like my review, please give me a thumbs up. Thanks!

Big oaf behind the counter ignored me the whole time. Didn’t provide my drink til I was practically done, and then pushed me out the door when I finally finished my drink. His fellow employee complained to him that he was taking all of her tables and duties, but left his duties unattended.

Honestly the food is great and most of the staff is as well. However, today I was told I could not sit at the counter while I waited for my food. Unfortunately you can not call in an order over the phone. There were only 6 other customers in the entire restaurant. I spent money and tipped, make it make sense? Good place, but I went late at night. One night the cook had their phone playing songs load enough for me to hear it at the counter. Then the next night same cook put her phone on the cutting board then a few minutes later she cut something where her phone was laying without wiping it off before putting food on the board. Also the staff on night had a competor food behind the line. Which I think was wrong. The way I was taught you don't do that.

By far the rudest location I have been to , from my waitress with the locs to the Hispanic woman that is running the show at this location. They were rude. They shouldn’t be working in the morning if they’re gonna have attitudes like that I got there March 20, 2025 at 9:40 AM is 10:01AM and I still didn’t get served. Not only did my waitress make me sit somewhere that I didn’t wanna sit, but she looked at me like I was crazy when I asked her the status on my order while watching people being served that came in after me. Got to the restaurant hungry & craving waffles. After about 7 min of waiting a female waitress brought us menus & silverware, she said it would be a while because it was almost shift change. I'm visiting from GA we're the WH home office is located. While traveling, my family and I stopped at this location to grab a quick breakfast to go. I went in, placed the order but when I asked for an itemized receipt, I was told they could only provide a reprint of the summary. Then, I noticed additional charges: Service fee for $4.50 and To Go fee for $4.50 so I requested an explanation. I was told that the service fee is for the cooks and the Tog Go fee is for the server who took our order as I was a "walk-in". This sales tax of 20% added to the bill for walking in is twice the amount that is charged if I had ordered online. I plan to contact WH corporate office for a better explanation and maybe the Comptroller for Texas.

This was the most frustrating experience ever. I odered My food online and when I got there my order was incorrect and they sat in my face arguing about who did the order just FIX IT. I waited a long time waiting on them to give me my missing items even thou i ordered my food 30 minutes prior . First of all I have NEVER gone to ANY Waffle House and they tell you that they are not taking any To-Go orders on a Sunday from 8a-3p.They want to force you to sit in and eat! I haven't eaten in any restaurant since the pandemic and ANY restaurant that forces me to do so WON'T get my business. I guess letting money walk out if the door is an acceptable business model. I will do business with any business that makes me eat there. I drive for Lyft so I have eat on the fly. I eat at Waffle Houses all over town because of their delicious food and service but this location has absolutely turned me off. This location is ridiculous!

She rushed me to pay my tab (I had only been there for about 10 minutes). I went again last week (a Wednesday at around 11 ish) and a young boy was my waiter. He was clearly distracted and did not want to work. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY! I ordered hash browns all the way and a biscuit. Simple, right?! Well he couldn’t remember my order and had to ask me 3 times. Once I got my order, the biscuit was missing and the hash brown was missing 3 toppings. My cup remained empty until I asked for the check. I definitely will not be back and would not recommend this location…..

Food is good, and so are the people but don't order online. Three times in a row, they've forgotten stuff for my order. If I pay for something, I expect to get what I paid for. As you can see in my photo ordered raisin toast and gravy on my hash but it's not there

Walked in today and got totally ignored by the waiter, no one even asked if we even wanted something to drink or bring any silverware. After noticing that the waiter asked a couple that came in after us for their drink and took them silverware I told my husband I wanted to leave and go to Denny’s instead. I always have great service at the Atascosita location, looks like this location is short in comparison when it comes to customer service.

Don’t see how this place got 4 stars but service was bad. Sat down, ordered, waited about 30min for my food after I ordered..never got it, others who sat after me got their food. How??? We’re all in the same area.. My order was easy according to the person who took it LOL. I left and went to Toasted Yolk off Valley Ranch where service was a lot better. This Waffle House is the worst one I’ve been to.

I had a very bad experience related to the parking at this Waffle House. I was staying at the Wingate Hotel next door and parked in the lot that looked shared, because there were no other spaces available and many cars were already parked there. There were no clear signs indicating restricted parking or towing. During the night, my car was towed and taken to an impound lot, and I had to pay $298.22 to recover it. The hotel later told me the tow was requested by Waffle House. This was stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable. In the end, this Waffle House ended up costing me far more than any meal ever could. Because of this, I cannot recommend this location. Please be extremely careful with parking here.

Walked into Waffle House, I was next in line. Leila asked me to step to the side to allow someone to cut in front of me so they can pay. I did. Leila ended up having to get change so that was an additional wait. Leila then asked me again to step to the side to allow someone else to cut in front of me. I declined because I needed to get my order and I asked if I was suppose to keep allowing others to go in front of me. Leila walked away and then another kitchen staff saw what was going on and immediately helped me out. While I was getting helped, Leila then started helping the person that she asked to jump in front of me. Leila then grabs the person phone to pay and she was in my personal space and made me feel uncomfortable. I did not feel valued and I felt very disrespected. Bria helped me and I want to thank her for jumping into action. This location is 7106 Will Clayton, Humble TX 77338. This information has been given to customer service and plan to do a follow up.
