I ordered Taquitos online this morning at 10:41 a.m. I went to pick the order up and upon arrival was told that they were out of tortillas and could not make my taquitos. I was told that I could have anything else I wanted to order and instead I asked for a refund. They said they did not know how to do that in store since I ordered online so the instructed me to go to the app to figure out on my own how to get my refund. I called the customer service line at the 800 number and thankfully for a young lady named Marie I will be getting my refund processed. The manager at the location was less than helpful and her attitude was less than professional as she had her employee do 100% of her communication. This location has seemed always have issues since it's opened and sadly those issues still continue.
The Chili Cheese Burger is back on the menu, and it tastes great. I had mine without the onions, with fries and a milk shake. The regular Chili Cheese Burger is huge. Also tried the new White Chocolate Raspberry shake, really good. I have dinner at this Whataburger very often, while I charge the car at the HEB Plus station, and the best about this place is not even the food (which is always good btw). The staff is really nice, mostly composed of very young kids. They've always been polite, attentive and fast. I'd like to openly thank all the staff and management for the courteous and professional service.

What a Burger is hands down one of the best burger joints I've ever been to! The burgers are cooked to perfection, the toppings are fresh and tasty, and the fries are crispy and delicious. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a hearty meal, What a Burger is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
Foods always fresh. This location is always busy which I think tells you great things about the buildings leadership in running a quality team and maintaining a clean building. Please start serving breakfast menu all day! Taquitos are my favorite.
Love getting out of HEB for shopping then picking up a delicious Texas original. Food isn't as fast as other fast food, but you know they are making your order just for you.. Worth the wait.. My fries are always fresh and hot.. Love coming here!
This worker named Rudolph is the best worker I've ever seen at a whataburger. He had hella energy and was very positive even when it was 1AM. His service was quick fast and effective while being super positive and nice. That man needs a raise!!
I rarely review fast foods but this location offers the best Patty Melt. My husband and I enjoy the sandwich and the fresh fries. We normally go on a Saturday morning and there is only one staff at the counter but he/she still makes the best mocha iced coffee and serve the order promptly. Kudos to the staff!

Usually great food at good value. Service can be great unless it is really busy. Managers seem very interested in customer satisfaction. This store is adjacent to HEB for shopping convenience, I prefer this Whataburger over other nearby locations for reasons listed.

They've gotten much better. We use to wait almost a half hour after going dancing but they are doing much better. Never got anything wrong the last 3 times we went.

My boyfriend and I stopped at this location (Hutto, TX) just because it has an H-E-B attached to it. We loved how convenient it was to move between both restaurant and gas station. We were able to get lunch and snacks for the road, all at the same time. The restrooms were located on Whatburger’s side and they were very clean. There wasn’t much wait time for our food and it was made fresh. I would love to see more of these combos (whataburger/H-E-B fuel) throughout the state. Very convenient!!

I had an amazing experience at Whataburger thanks to Itati and the manager, Noah! From the moment I walked in, Itati was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive. She made sure my order was exactly right and did it all with a positive attitude and a smile. Noah, the manager, was just as impressive. You can really tell he cares about both the customers and his team. Everything was running smoothly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was fast. It’s clear there’s great leadership here. Thank you, Itati and Noah, for making my visit such a great one. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This past week we had a work event and needed to feed a large group of people on short notice. I called the location and Dorthy answered and recommended the Burger Box. She was able to have it prepared immediately and I picked it up. Burgers were hot and the cheese was melted on all 40 of the burgers!!!! Thank you to Dorthy and her Team.
Every day I come in the employees look like they love their job! Most fast food workers look miserable but these people are always happy! They welcome me in every time, the store is clean and the food is always hot! I love the decorations and the picture wall says these people are happy to work here! I wish all the Whataburger in the area was like this one!
Great breakfast drive thru. The workers are friendly and the food is fresh made. The early morning crew around 5:30 to 6:00 am food a great job. We went there on the way to work 3 or 4 days a week when working in that area.
This location is consistently above average when it comes to food quality and service. I always customize my sandwhiches and they have never gotten my order wrong. Also, Whataburger has some of the best shakes. Yesterday I asked if they could do half chocolate half strawberry. They were happy to oblige. It was so thick and delicious, 10/10 recommend if you enjoy chocolate covered strawberries.
10/9/25 @ 1:45pm. Best experience with a fast food restaurant ever. The gentleman personally taking orders was polite, friendly, and funny. What a great way to start a visit having this young man greeting you. The lady at the window was friendly. Great job
Is there anyone who doesn't love Whataburger. It has to be my favorite fast food burger. The burgers and fries are very consistence. Of course I have to do the breakfast Taquitos. I just wish they served them 24 hours. I can always make a stop at whataburger. Almost always the service is good. This location has especially good service. I will be back.

I love this whataburger. The food is great for a fast food chain, and the workers are kind and have a good work ethic. My only complaint is that it can be a bit pricy, but I'm also super broke, so take that with a grain of salt.
Staff was friendly and my Patti Melt was fresh. So tasty!
Always good food, sometimes they are very busy but seem to get through the customers at a quick rate, drive through is quick and easy.
This is a chain burger place, but it's good. Much better than the typical McDonald's and Burger King. We had the patty melt and was really good, juicy. We also had the onion rings, yummy and crispy. Try the spicy ketchup... one great thing is they're open really late, late night smack!

I've been here a few times. My past experiences haven't been the best with this store but I'm always down for trying again just in case. This time wasn't terrible. The food was cooked perfectly, nothing raw or lacking in flavor. The service was actually really quick. Almost shockingly so especially seeing as we hit it up at lunch time. The employee that came to the car, they had us use the outer lane, was really friendly and fast. The only real issue I had this time was the drinks. For some reason the Dr pepper had a heavy chemical taste to it. And so did the root beer and I finally just gave up when the coke tasted the same. Maybe they cleaned it recently and still had that taste lingering? I don't know but I just ended up dumping the drink.
The burger was good but, they forgot my fries. I saw it after I was gone so I did not go back
Food was good. It's fast food, so it's not getting five stars, but it's far better than McDonald's. The service was not as good as other locations. They were not as diligent in things like offering ketchup and so on. The Taylor location shines in that regard. It's a clean store, and the restroom was clean and had soap, which I find is often not the case when I go out... nothing like using a public toilet and leaving other people's urine or whatever on your hands. I was happy to have soap at this location.
The breakfast foods, especially at 0400, are exceptional for what it is. I would give a 5 star but something seems to happen to the freshness and quality of the food after breakfast. Food isn't hot or is tepid/Luke warm. Burgers are dry, fries are coldish and drinks seem to lose their carbonation. That being said. Their breakfast is excellent. You can tell it's being cooked to order. Their weekly breakfast cooks all deserve a raise.
Why can't this location ever have coffee at 8:20am on Sundays? No self serve coffee, so they bring it from the back. Ok, but now it's Luke warm decaf...even the refill. I ordered large coffee & got medium decaf? Please get this location to understand customers want recently brewed hot caffeintated coffee. Thanks!

So mad right now. Placed an online order through the app at 11:25pm, arrived at 11:35 and had to sit in line for over 20 minutes to get my food. The entire point of ordering online is avoid waiting. I get my food and everything is cold. This is not the first time this location has served cold food. Y'all need to hire employees who can actually keep up with orders and serve quality. Just opened my food, GREAT. THEY GOT MY ORDER WRONG. I order a buffalo chicken ranch, sweet & spicy burger and got two B.C.R., fries are soggy. I hate this location

We waited in line from 11:45 pm to 1:12am. When we got to the window we learned there were only 3 people working and the girl taking the orders was also making the food AND then we were told she was new. They get two stars because although the girls forgot to hand us MY sandwich, it was so delicious when I finally got it. One of the workers tried to make up for the delay by offering us a free sandwich upon another visit, but I’m just passing through Texas, I don’t live here. Good sandwich tho!😋
It's a Whataburger so you know what to expect food wise. Only disappointed by the long wait for food. I was in the other day and ordered ahead because I had 8 meals to order for the family and didn't want to have to wait too long. I arrived at my pick up time and waited an additional 20ish minutes for my food to come out. When it did I was missing 2 meals. I noticed this before I left but I did not notice the 2 missing orders of fries though unfortunately. I'll be back, just hate the wait. Update: lowered my rating, the last 3 or 4 times I've been here I've waited in the lobby for over 10 minutes just to have someone come greet me to take my order. Even when they aren't busy, it is ridiculous.
I got a big fish, bit in to a sandwich full of salt. Fries were cold. Now the sandwich had a good portion of fish but was just too salty for me.
The online app service wasn't working today... I was trying to redeem biscuit and gravy online, and my app order wouldn't allow me the option to complete my transaction. App also said store location was closed. I guess it wasn't a breakfast kinda day 😕 Only reason for 1 star was because of the online app service. In person service is always great. #PleaseFixOnlineApp
As an avid Whataburger-loving family, we just visited the drive through at the Hutto location for the first time, and what a HUGE disappointment! Our order was $61 and change, so we spent some coin on 4 meals tonight. At the window, the kid tried to charge me for both my order and the one behind me-he was obviously confused and in over his head, and there was nobody else close by to step in. On the drive home, my son got soda all over his lap because the same confused window guy didn’t put the lids on the sodas correctly and they spilled all over him, soaked through the paper tray and leaked through the hole In the bottom of the bag they were in, resulting in a sticky, wet mess all over the passenger seat and floor of my car. Fast forward to getting this mess home, and after about 10 minutes of cleaning up said sticky soda disaster, we open the food: My husband’s (‘special of the month’) pico de gallo burger didn’t have any pico on it, and my chicken strip meal was missing fries and one of 3 chicken strips it is supposed to include, and the the gravy is like water. The Chicago conglomerate that took over our favorite chain several years ago has not done wonders for Whataburger, so we haven’t been going as much, anyway, but when we forget how bad it has gotten and foolishly decide to try them again, we will be driving right past this location in the future-they just don’t have their act together.
They messed my order. I asked for a Whataburger with bacon, mayo onion, easy mustard, & extra cheese. It came with heavy mustard very little mayo, and no extra cheese. The manager took the sandwich back at a piece of cheese brought it back to me. Onion rings were cold and old. To tell you the truth I got my burger and onion rings in less than 2 minutes. So that tells you how fresh the meal was. I do not recommend this Whataburger unless they get new management.
The Taquito is missing about a fourth of it, so they just folded all the extra flour tortilla over into it. The hash browns were burnt to a crisp. They don't bring out the condiment tray, you have to ask them to give you some hot sauce. They got two stars because the iced tea was good.
This is the Whataburger located at the corner of Gattis School Road and the 130 Tollway in Round Rock, Texas@. It's in front of the new Super HEB, so I understand that the Whataburger itself is new. Perhaps the staff and crew are just too green to be up to the standards I expect from WhataBurger. That's why I gave them two stars. The building was shiny and new and the parking lot was clean. Other than that, this place is absolutely the pits. I celebrated a birthday in the drive-thru line and two ladies gave birth after conceiving in the same line. I only ordered a small fry and even that got screwed up. The fries were cold and stale and no ketchup or napkins were offered or given. No, I'm not one to quickly complain, but I certainly deserve to be treated like my business is at least appreciated. I found employee attitudes poor and customer service non-existent. This store needs a lot of growth to become a real Whataburger.

I typically order a salad here, as it's a great option when I'm pressed for time and need a quick meal. However, I've noticed that when I order ahead through the app, the estimated time for my food to be ready is often not accurate. I usually arrive about 10 minutes after the suggested time, but unfortunately, my order isn’t ready yet. It seems like the food is prepared only upon my arrival, which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. I really appreciate the convenience of the app and the food itself; it would be great if these aspects could be optimized for a smoother experience. Just my two cents!.

The person taking orders, for the drive thru around 1045pm, 2nd January. Should have stayed home with her nasty attitude, it's not the customers fault whatever her issue was. I had originally had a good review here but man imagine asking for a Diet Coke and then watching the guy pour it bring it to you and then double checking if it’s diet and him saying yea and lying straight to your face. I’m a type 1 diabetic if I didn’t know the taste of sugar versus diet well enough this would have sent me for a weeks stay in the hospital. But my life isn’t worth the 10 seconds it would take to refill it correctly huh?
Placed an order through the whataburger app for delivery, half my order was missing, called the store, manager gave me a 1-800 number to call, called the number, spent ten minutes verifying my personal information just to be told they have opened a report that will be sent to management, no way to refund my order, guy on the phone at the store clearly has this happen constantly, now I get to pay for another set of delivery fees, tips and taxes and wait for another delivery from somewhere else. Whole idea of ordering online is convenience, not being given homework and jumping through hoops to try and get a refund. The Taylor tx location is way better.
McDonald's is better. The food was old and hard. Soggy hashbrowns. Smelled like fish. Not cooked to order at all like they claim. Management refused to refund my money unless I drove back up there manager was Theresa or something like that. I paid with a card it should be able to refunded without a trip back. The worst experience at any fast food restaurant. Absolutely horrible food and service will inform anyone and everyone not to come here. Wow...😱🙄
I haven't come here for about 2 years because of the poor service every morning but decided to try the breakfast again. Looks like nothing's changed. Biscuit sandwiches old and never fresh, same slow service. *ORIGINAL REVIEW 4 YEARS AGO* The hamburgers definitely deserve 5 stars but I am subtracting 2 stars for always serving ROCK HARD biscuits every Monday morning. The owner should really pay attention to some of these reviews and make the necessary changes to improve their business. Employees should monitor the freshness of their breakfast especially after the weekend
Service sucks. I was only customer who came in and it toom 5 minutes before someone came up to take my order. After that it took 10 minuttes to get the food, all I ordered was a biscuit and gravy. Then a group of 6 walked in. And no one still came up to take their order. As I leave, still no one has taken their order. Teens working in the back sees customers waiting but they don't even take orders.
So, I went to this location last night. And this isn’t just the first time where I had to wait in line for 40 minutes for my food. This for some reason is a frequent thing. I am usually very patient. But last night was a horrible experience. First, I waited for a long time for my food which should be unacceptable for a fast food restaurant. Secondly, at the window they didn’t have my order correct and tried to act like I only placed an order for one thing which I know I didn’t. Then, I ended up having to add the items which I had already ordered which made me wait even longer and on top of that once I got the items I ordered I check my bags and they forgot to add the gravy for another item I had on my ticket, that’s not the first time that’s happened. I also, asked for extra honey butter sauce on my order and once I got home there was barely any honey butter on my biscuit. This location frequently has issues especially at night. I love Whataburger but this location has some serious issues.
There were no cars in the drive thru dont understand why it took so long for just a no.7 with cold fries cooked in dirty grease. The burger was ok.

I've been twice, weeks apart, and on both occasions I've sat in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes. The first time, the manager comped the meal. The second time it wasn't comped but the person was apologetic. Regardless, I won't be going back which is a shame because it's a great location that's poorly ran. Reading other reviews it doesn't look like my situations unique to me, and even then it's occurs too often. I'd throw the baby out with the bath water and start over.
I had a terrible experience at this location. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the food was cold and seemed old. Fountain drink area was not clean and fountain drinks were very much not working. Fountain drink liquid seemed mixed with a clear water like substance when I tried to fill my cup. I also asked to be served for dine in but was rather served for take out. I would not recommend this place/location to anyone.
Ridiculous place- they are as slow as molasses and the employees have zero personality. They constantly get orders wrong and when you call to ask for help they are snippy. I would avoid this location at all cost.
Officially done with Whataburger when it comes to their delivery! Something or multiple items are always missing and all we get from the Manager is them saying, "Put my name on the receipt and come in next time for a free meal." That does me no good when full meals are missing!!!! Do better Whataburger!
Smallest taquito ever. Asked for spicy ketchup, nope, no spicy ketchup or napkins. I have been to over 40 Whataburgers. This one is the Only one that handed me such a tiny taquito. No bueno. Please let people know you serve below company standard and ignore condiment requests. Waste of time and money
Apparently "plain" means with mustard. When I pointed it out, I was told that I ordered wrong, and plain means with mustard, and I was supposed to say "dry". This is the only burger restaurant I have ever been to that puts mustard on "plain". They remade my burger, but made a point to tell me it was remade "plain and dry". Still made it sound like it was my fault they don't know what plain means. I will not be back.

I ordered the sweet and spicy bacon burger and my wife got the patty melt. Both sandwiches were obviously made hours before we got there. The bread was soggy and the patty was dry and flavorless. I don't know what happened to this place, it used to be super consistent with their quality of food. It's really gone down the drain. I do not recommend this location at all.
Went through the Drive thru yesterday ordered a burger w/o cheese got the buns with no patty went back and they took a whole 10 min to give me a cold burger with cheese. Bad experience. When ordering, they tell me they were out of Sprite and Dr. Pepper but that is all. I ordered 4 Whataburger meals with cheese. After waiting in line for my food for 40 min, I get my order and it is 4 Whataburger Jr. Meals. It is also dressed wrong. I told them they gave me small burgers by accident and they said, "oh, they are out of the large burgers". But yet, they charged me for 4 large burgers. I also got small fries and small drinks. They finally refunded me for the small burgers but not the fries/drinks. They did not correct the burger they messed up. 45 mins later, the food was cold, dry, barely anything on it/missing veggies and over-priced. Second time here. First was just ok, this was bad.
Third visit to “this location” (only because it is closer to our house) where something was wrong with our $40+ order. Today… all the bottom buns on our burgers were stale and crunchy around the edges. The kids meal cheeseburger had sweet & spicy bbq sauces on it, so my five year old had a meltdown. The fries and burgers were colder than average and the pies were old and dried out. Moving forward, we will just drive the distance or pick up five guys burgers & fries instead.
Ordered a delivery order and they can't even get tea and scrambled eggs correct. The eggs were almost burnt and they gave me sweet tea, i ordered unsweetened. I went onto the app to report it and request refund and it says call store. I called the store and she said I had to request a refund on the app. When I told her the only thing listed is to call store, she argued with me...when I was looking right at it!!
Order my food online came in checked in and sat a table for 20 minutes watching everyone getting their food delivered to the table after I ordered mine and finally went up to the counter asked and they said it had been under the heat lamp for 20 minutes.
If you Order with doordash, don't expect your order to be correct, ever. Somethings always missing.
Fast food should be quick and convenient, but unfortunately, this visit was anything but. I recently visited Whataburger in Hutto, TX and had an extremely frustrating experience. My order was incomplete when I picked it up from the drive-thru, and when I called to resolve the issue, the customer service over the phone was not helpful at all. The lack of attention to detail and the poor response to a simple request left me thoroughly disappointed. Do not recommend this location.
uhhhhhhh so they put like 2 pieces of scrambled eggs in the new bowl. and it’s supposed to be filled with scrambled eggs. i’ve got this at 2 other whataburger locations and it was full. this whataburger location has SUCKED ever since they opened. I never go here but i decided to give them a shot and i was quickly reminded why i don’t come here. the dude who gave my my food had air pods in and didn’t even say a word to me at the window. a very high class establishment to say the least…
I don’t understand how they can get my order wrong literally every time. This is honestly the worst whataburger I’ve ever been to.
This is the absolute worst experience I have had for a drive-thru or fast food. I arrived and ordered my food and then had to wait 25 minutes to get to the window when there were only two cars in front of me and one in the side lane. When I got home, I found out that they forgot to put the gravy in the box. Also, one of my "three piece chicken" was the size of my thumb. The wait time in addition to poor quality of meal and lack of gravy ensures I will never go back. I would not recommend this Whataburger to anyone. If you really want some, maybe try the Whataburger off 79, but I would suggest anywhere but here.
Ordered the pancake plate, waited for 30 minutes, and watched 5 other people that ordered after me get their food. When I said something to the gentleman behind the counter all he said was “some orders have less than others”. Bro I literally just ordered freaking pancakes.
Made a drive through in the morning and was alone but it took me 15 minutes to get a burger with no burrito, as per the order. Because of the delay, I rushed to for work, and when I called to inform them of the missing order, all they could tell me was to drive back so they could refund me even after giving them the order number
I had a very disappointing experience at this location. During the drive-thru order, one of the employees started laughing and making fun of the way someone in the car was speaking because of their accent. It was clearly audible, and another employee had to quickly take over the headset and apologize. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in a place that serves people from different backgrounds every day. Everyone deserves respect and kindness, no matter how they speak. Ironically, the customer being mocked for their accent speaks three languages 🤷🏻♀️ something that should be admired, not ridiculed. I truly hope the management provides proper customer service and sensitivity training to prevent this from happening again. 🚫 Zero Star for Drive Thru service October 16, 2025

Placed a late night online order. My wife and I wanted some comfort food after a super long week. When arrived there was no one at the store, the cashier was in the back chit chatting with others. When he finally showed up to the front and I inquired about my online order he asked me to take a seat and when the order is ready it will be placed on the rack with all other delivery companies. After waiting for a very long time I approached him again and he said that “they’re working on it”. It was only 2 burgers and fries. Nothing too complicated. Eventually he handed me a bag without saying anything. Seriously how long does it take to make a burger? Could have literally fired up the grill, gone to HEB, get all the ingredients, made a patty from scratch, fried some fries and ate it all within the same timeframe.
Is there any way I can leave zero stars? I tried to order on the app and the system was down as always. Went in and the employee behind the counter asked me “what do you want?” How about food? It took 40 minutes to get my food and when we get it, the lettuce is soggy and old. Not to mention no one there wanted to refill the ice machine, so I had to keep giving them my cup for ice. No wonder AI is going to replace human workers. I used to love Whataburger and I’ve given y’all multiple chances to bounce back, but I am done with this place.
This location continuously disappoints on numerous occasions. From letting you stand at the front of the line for 20 minutes without any acknowledgment to giving you the wrong order. The latest visit I got two small fries instead of large. The burgers were super cold as well as the fries. The most appalling part of it all was the raw meat in my girlfriend’s burger. Sadly we had to throw away the 20 dollar meals we paid for. Never coming here again. If you don’t want raw meat or cold food do not come here. The staff doesn’t care neither does the manager who was present.
