I was a little disappointed they didn’t have any sours so I got a Black Mountain Bourbon Smash, it was pretty good but if you don’t like bourbon don’t get it. I also got the Angry Mule Burger which was very good. I sat at the bar so there was no wait.

Go no further—if you’re looking for a really good burger and fries in Idyllwild, this is the spot! We checked out multiple reviews for other places in town, and we were so glad we chose the BrewPub. The burgers hit the spot, they are “smashed burger” patty style FYI, and the truffle fries were amazing—especially paired with their sauces like the smoky, bacon aioli. Their house-brewed beers were just as impressive. We tried the strawberry pilsner and the bohemian pilsner—both light, fresh, and crisp. Enjoying them on the patio, surrounded by forest trees after a mountain hike, made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a great meal and local craft beer in Idyllwild!

Fun little stop. Very lively. Excellent service and great food. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap & wonderful, caring service. I had the brussels sprouts & pretzels as appetizers. DELICIOUS cheese sauce and mustard dips. The brussels sprouts weren’t soggy like I’ve had at other restaurants. A+! I chose the fish and chips as my main course. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The french fries were perfectly seasoned. I’m excited to come back and try their mouthwatering smash burgers. We will definitely be back. At Idlewild Brewpub you can enjoy quality food with your family, at a price that won’t break the bank. Very rarely do any experiences, match the ambience of the beautiful trees and scenery of Idyllwild, but their Brewpub is truly worthy of a visit.

We tried the campfire burger and it was amazing! They smash the meat patties and put just the right amount of BBQ sauce and toppings to make it to perfection! The frys are cooked just right to where they are crispy and not mushy on the inside! The fries are cut to perfect sizes! The staff is amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and helpful employees! What a beautiful view from anywhere in the place! Can't wait to return and try more delicious food!

Took weekend ride with my friends. The Brewpub was well laid out restaurant. The restaurant has a great vibe about it. It's very inviting and clean. From the patio to indoor seating to the bathrooms. Place is very clean! You can tell the company cares about your experience at Idyllwild Brewpub! Food came out in timely manner. My only issue was appetizer came out with meal. Not a deal breaker. Just wish their timing was better ,that way the Food didn't goto waste. Everyone's meal came out warm and correct. We were all happy with our choices. Will stop by again.... Can't go wrong with idyllwild brew pub

Absolutely loved our lunch at Idyllwild Brewpub! We had both the fish sandwich and a burger, everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The fries were perfectly crispy, the pickle was a great touch, and the whole vibe was super relaxed. What really made this place stand out? It’s incredibly dog-friendly. There were happy pups lounging all around the patio, and the staff was just as welcoming to them as they were to us. It’s hard to find spots that make it this easy to bring your furry friend along for a great meal. The patio is spacious and shaded with beautiful forest views, and the parking was a breeze compared to most of Idyllwild. Friendly service, delicious food, chill mountain vibes, and a dream spot for dog lovers. We’ll definitely be back!

Great lively place with good pub food and beer. The patio overlooking the trees was excellent. I'd definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Idyllwild. Our dogs loved it too!

Great beers and snacks! All of the appetizers looked good but we went with the pretzel and onion rings. We also tried the imperial stout (so good!), the hazy IPA, heferweizen, orange blonde, and raspberry blonde. The vibe is super nice outdoors, and the staff were all friendly!

A mountain escape with great beer, good food, and a vibe worth the ride. Unlike the desert below, this brewpub is tucked into the mountains, surrounded by towering evergreens and the sound of a creek nearby. The interior bar is perfect for watching the game, seamlessly flowing into a vibrant dining space or their open patio. Perched high in the forest, the whole space feels like a breath of fresh air — a place where you’re still at a restaurant, but just enough in nature to feel it working on you. The beer? Excellent. The food? Solid and well-matched to the atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to stay a little longer, especially if you’re escaping the valley heat for the afternoon. Service was mostly great — our server was friendly and attentive. That said, a bartender assisting us on two occasions gave off an energy that didn’t match the rest of the team: slapping down menus without a word, and handing off beers with a look that made things feel awkward. We weren’t sure if it was about us being bikers, but it was noticeable. Still, based on everything else — location, vibe, and overall experience — we’ll definitely be back with the family.

I wasn’t too impressed with my appetizer and meal, although the portions on the fries was ample. However, the dessert was huge and absolutely delicious! Blondie sundae with whipped cream, honeycomb candy, and vanilla honey drizzle. I’d go back just to have that again. The location is nice. You do have to go up some stairs to get there, but, if you sit outside, you’re right by the trees. Of course, it’s a pub, so there’s still loud music. The service was great at first. They took my order and brought my food very quickly, but once I finished my burger, I had to wait a while before someone came to take my dessert order.
