If you’re looking for humongous and juicy burgers along with yummy Hawaiian themed food, then this is the place to go. We have been coming here for about 12 years and this place never fails to impress us with their delicious and shareable portions. We love to get the spicy aki bowl, and the bbq bacon burger. They serve the spicy bowl with sweet, sticky rice and yummy macaroni salad. This dish is spicy, yet tangy and you can add pineapple to give it a sweeter taste. Their burgers are ginormous and the buns are sweet too. I added their spicy mayo sauce to my bbq burger and it was the perfect combination of flavors. This place is dog friendly and has outdoor seating. This place has a laid back atmosphere with lots of Hawaiian decor. Definitely reminds me of visiting the islands. A must try spot if you are in the area.

WOW! Incredible place. The terriyakinburger was to die for, and bigger than my head. Good beers on tap and great service! I'd love to know where those huge Hawaiian buns came from, because I've never seen them anywhere. They were fresh, soft, and delicious. Can't wait to go back for the loco moko.

What a great lunch we had today! Coconut shrimp, Kalua pork bowl & Kalbi beef plate with extra macaroni salad. Doesn't get much better outside the Hawaiian Islands. Waitress was very fast & efficient. Mahalo🤙

Friendly environment, amazing food! We came here super hungry! Just got off our flight, got the rental, got to the beach house, did some food shopping so things were a bit hectic and it worked up an appetite and we needed to wind down. We were greeted by Jennifer and she was so welcoming! She really made our experience amazing. Give this girl a raise! Places need more people like her. We got our food in good timing and IT WAS DELICIOUS!! The macaroni salad is just like homemade, the rice was perfect texture, and my chicken was perfect texture and flavor. I never take home my left overs but i did take home my left over food so that’s saying something.

The place is quite homely. The food is not only great but also priced right for the quality of the taste. It's a good place to sit, eat, chill out and enjoy the indoor as well as outdoor seating. I will be coming back to try more of their selection.

I finally went to BK, it had been one of the few places I had left to go now that I live in Imperial Beach. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. The girl who helped us was so so nice and friendly, she helped us by explaining a few things about the menu. The place was very clean and there's a very cool atmosphere. Very easy parking and the service overall is fast and efficient. I ordered the teriyaki plate with rice and salad. The teriyaki sauce was so tasty and delicious, the rice was so yummy too and I enjoyed the salad very much. My fiancé ordered the Aki Chicken and it was super tasty and the macaroni salad was awesome too. We normally don't eat the rice but it was very well cooked and tasty in this place. We spent less than 30 bucks and we left the place very satisfied without being over full. Definitely a must in the IB area and we can't wait to go back.

We had the shrimp appetizer was delicious sprinkled with coconut. My husband had a bacon swish mushroom burger, and I had the mocha Loco Hawaiian breakfast something like that but don’t drink the Pepsi. It is horrible. It’s too sweet. Doesn’t have enough water. It was awful. Stay away from the Pepsi.

This is a personal opinion. Not everyone will agree. Great service, nice and clean inside, but im picky about my burgers. I like medium, and my burger was well done, I'm not a fan of mustard, but mine had too much, but the bun was superb. I'm sure I can modify these issues next time.

Good Hawaiian spot, & Service is great! The Kalbi plate was pretty good, I’ve definitely had better, but it was a lot better than other spots around SD. I’m only giving 3 stars for food because the Hawaiian food I had in Hawaii was by far the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been searching for a place in SD that compares. I guess I just perfer smoked Kalbi over marinated. I will be back here though!

Everything was sticky, the menu, the high chairs, tables.... and then there was this unpleasant smell when you enter the restaurant. On the other hand, the food was great! We ordered mahi-mahi, steak, chickens, Loco moco and something that resembles cheese pizza as an appetizer. I highly recommend you to try Loco moco it had this love smoky flavor. If they clean the restaurant, I would give it five stars.

I wouldn't feed this Teriyucky chicken do a stray dog. This burned up twice reheated mess looked like something from a Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare episode. Just disgusting. My wife and son's burger were fine. If I ever come back I'm gonna stick with the burgers.

Food was beyond underwhelming, I paid 47$ for my food, first I’d like to mention they are piling about a pound and a half of rice on a tiny little piece of dry and old spam and calling that their musubi, the pictures are misleading and nothing really tastes fresh, they put canned pineapples on their chicken teriyaki which shows you really how much effort they are putting into their food. Overall I highly would not recommend this place if you are looking for authentic and delicious Hawaiian food this is not the place. Would give zero stars if I could.
