Good tasted fresh and worker that took my order was sweet. Didn't make me feel rushed or like my family and I were being annoying.
Went in after 8:30pm and still felt welcome. My toddler LOVED their toddler play place. The electronic order taker thing was a little confusing because it didn't have any table tents with numbers, but there were real people too.

I came through the drive up April 19th, and when I came home there was a mistake in the order. Hard to communicate with speakers. I called and talk with Kevin Garcia the Manager. He was so very helpful, and said to come anytime and they would take care of it. I walked in today, Sunday the 21st of April, and Hugo waited on me. What a pleasant gentleman. I will differently come back to this location.
NEW OWNER, EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! This McDonald's was so poorly run before a new owner took over last month. I had a minor problem and he reached out and went well above what was expected to resolve it within a few days. The previous owner rarely participated in corporate promotions (2 for $5, etc.) and the customer service was one of the worst I had ever experienced in a McDonald's. It's refreshing to have a new owner in place.

Great service be staff around the mid day hour. The Manger on duty had great workmanship with the her crew. One of the gentlemen that help me also. Went above and beyond in service to answer a couple questions that I had about my order and recommendations about the surrounding area. (Thank you again for the Chula Vista recommendations bud) The facility was also well maintained. If this review helped you smash that like button. I love helping all of you out.
The best McDonald's I've ever been to.. Above and beyond the customer service.. It was my son's birthday, and I brought a little cake, and employees where coming to say happy birthday to him, and check if we didn't need anything.. Everything very clean, food, was hot, and covered my expectations Thank you

They always welcome in the customers and are polite and efficient. This place can get pretty busy during lunch hours but I'm always impressed by their speed. Sometimes the food is better than others but they've never got my order wrong.

Staff was very attentive. At other locations if I need help I have wait 5 minutes without a single “Hello, one moment, or just a sec” I’m pretty much not there. Not at this location though. My presence was acknowledged and they were very busy. Thank you!
We used the drive-thru to get coffee while out house hunting in the area. McDs was right across the street from our hotel. Very convenient. The beautiful young lady, who was working at the window, was very polite and had a lovely smile. I hope she has a great day today and every day.

This McDonald's has a fundraiser event every year for my child's school and they are so much fun. They let the teachers take over and take the orders and give out the food, the kids get to have fun. They even have an appearance by the Hambrurgler! This location is so accommodating! And the fries are always hot and crispy!
I went in during breakfast hours and had a deluxe breakfast with coffee. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. There's about dozen tables of different sizes inside and another eight or so in the children's play area. Sevice was fast and accurate. Food was hot and tasty. I went in on a Tuesday and there was just a few other individuals in the restaurant. I recommend as a quick breakfast spot. Employee's are kind and friendly.

I am updating my review from last time. We think this is a great McDonald's and we usually go there every Sunday. Seems like the bad attitude some of the employees had from a few years ago is gone. They are very friendly and attentive to our needs. Keep up the good work.

Its fast food, but slower, mostly due to the ill conceived two driveway ordering system. Inside, you'll see that its quicker but you'll feel a bit ignored as the drive thru is where the staff spends all it's time to no avail. Not the workers fault, it's a high traffic joint with a horrible drivethru setup.
Just asked for a simple request to give me change for my 20 from the register and the refused to help me. I know they are not a bank but I was surprised that they wouldn't want to help when they have the ability too. It just kind of give me a cold feeling from them and not warm and inviting. On the other hand the service here has gotten much better. Even though I was a little disappointed I will probably still continue to come here until another place comes to town that is more receptive.
It's about as good as a McDonald's could be. I would seriously recommend not ordering online, or through a delivery service because they just never get the order right. One way or another, there are at least three things that have been wrong on my order whenever I have ordered online. At least they can fix it when you're there in person if there's an issue, but coincidentally I never have an issue when I order in person.
I'm happy they have two lanes to take your order but most places already have that so it's nothing special but it is a convenience. The quality of Customer Service has improved and my last visit was fast with no issues. **REVISED************* The drive through has gotten very slow and every time we go through they have us wait at the last window or one of the numbered parking. Make sure to always check your fries because they skimp you. Take them out of the bad and shake them a little and watch them sink into the package. You’ll end up with Medium fries when you originally ordered Large. ALWAYS ask for extra ketchup, they seam to only give you 3 packs no matter how much food you order. They don’t say Thank You and You’re Welcome, I think that’s bad customer service!
I know it’s an inconvenient to order last minute. I forgot to order a burger. But this was the first time I was not allowed to order. Usually they will take the order and ask you to pull to the side. But today at 12:30 the Manager told me she couldn’t take my order and to head back into the drive thru line to order my Burger. Does it make sense? I have a whole order already and you want me to go back in line for a Burger !! Come on Do Better!!
me and my family went to get a happy meal since the new collab came out of hello kitty and the other anime. When we got there we got our happy meals and i was super excited for the toy but they gave a me a marvel toy and also the ice cream they gave me was almost falling over when they gave it to me
Slow service! I waited 20 mins for them to bring me a large fry and drink! They were busy, but still! Fries were already cooked. And I make my own drink. So what gives?
This is just my opinion and should not be considered as slander or something negative but into constructive criticism. Only 2 stars due to the fact that my orders have something missing, most of the time. My suspicion is that the staff are not properly trained at their daily duties. Great teams have great leadership and this McDonald's is lacking.
This places has all the stuff you would like to use but most of isn't operational. They have a self order machine that's off! All registers only takes cash expect for one. This place only get two stars because my children love McDonald's or else this place is a two star place. You can add all the nice materials to your store but if your service is bad because of failed equipment then two stars is as good as it gets
Worst experience ever. Took forever for the order had several mistakes in multiple orders. Were so disorganized gave me another drink which I in turn gave to a homeless person. Need to also fix the electric outlets as you would have happier customers if the intent was to be like Starbucks.
order three happy meals plain. All three came loaded. Order was taken correct on the receipt.ordered 3 Regular Cokes, received 2 diet cokes and 1 dr pepper. Waited for my order at the special pickup spot.
This location has changed a lot since the remodeled. The employees don't give a Damn about what you want or need! THE PLAYGROUND AREA. Needs to be clean and free of serious germs!!! EVERYTIME I bring my granddaughter to play she wakes up the next morning sick with the flu. I thought washing her hands immediately after would do the trick. But I guess when she took a bite out of her cookie that's what did it! And again, she's sick with the flu this morning! Now I know for sure it's McDonald's! I will never bring her back to this location. So parents remember to wash your children's hands immediately after and hope for the best. Calling CORPORATE TOMORROW! Good Luck everyone!
I ordered an iced coffee and they didn't blend it well. So I asked if they could put more ice and blend more. Then, she gave it back to me then I said thank you. Then they put so much ice I couldn't even drink it. Those smart asses
The McDonald’s in Imperial Beach has the worst service ever! Had my whole breakfast order canceled and we ordered with 20 minutes to spare before the end of breakfast (11am). We ordered inside the restaurant and grabbed a number and had seat. Our food was never brought over to us. Emma,our counter server,was very rude after I told her our food was dine-in. She bagged it up and told us “we dont do that here.” Don’t expect great service here!
I agree with many of the reviews, service took a nose dive after the remodel. It doesn't fail, every single time they forget to put something in the bag. I used to take my order, and pull to the side to check if it was correct, no more. I double check at the window, until I verfy that my order is correct.
Food was good. Service was HIDEOUS. The Woman who took my order kept interrupting me and asking if that would complete my order in the middle of my sentences. Each time I added an item she sounded irritated. I drove up to the first window and had to wait for my order to appear in order to pay.. that took almost 2 minutes. I was asked to drive to the next window and then again to the next window after that and sat at the third window for almost 5 minutes with the metal from the building radiating excessive heat into my face. Three cars behind me were served before me. I finally knocked on the window and a girl looked out from the window behind me and said they'll be out in a minute. When someone finally brought my order, she opened the window handed me my order, and then slammed the window shut and walked away without saying a single word.
I went twice for breakfast to this location and the breakfast is on point. Unfortunately I decided to go for lunch and luckily I decide to order for myself and my buddy. We both got two separate hamburgers and let me tell you, I don’t know if the employees are joking around but my quarter pounder deluxe was disgustingly full of mayo and ketchup. The mayo squeezed out of the burger and was just overflowing. My buddy ordered the Big Mac and also disgustingly full of the Big Mac sauce. That’s completely unacceptable!!
I’ll give it two stars just because my order was correct. The lady’s there had terrible customer service, the girl giving me my food didn’t want to give me my cone because I had ordered it separately, she also ignored me when I literally shouted so she could hear me that I wanted Buffalo sauce. My chicken sandwich was good from one side and the other side was literally soggy on mayonnaise.
The place is clean..probably because half the dinning room is closed off as if the covid lock down is still happening. They don't allow you to get your own drinks, so no refills. And they don't fill the cup to the top. The large drinks are now 1.89! I learned recently that each McDonald's can adjust their prices since some are franchises.So double check the prices before you arrive, you might find the next McDonald's prices more agreeable for your wallet.
If you eat in they dont bring you the food to your table, defeating the whole purpose of taking a number. They are supposed to be doing it but they dont and make you come up to get it. They also never have trays ready for you to eat in and basically just toss you a bag and leave you to figure it out for yourself. Poor service and poor cleanliness. Hand sanitizer next to the takeout touch screen stations were completely pumped out and all over the floor. Floors were dirty the counters were dirty. I've come here multiple times and they've had my order completely messed up or missing items or non followed instructions Even though my order says what I want on the receipts. The last time I came here it was an order for three people and they somehow screwed up everything for all three people... I'm saddened to give a one-star review oh, but we went there today and this is not the first time but they don't have any of the toys of their advertising they seem to only give out happy meal boxes to certain kids and other kids even in the same group get a bag. Everytime I go to this McDonald's the employees take so long to take my order. Especially this morning it took them approximately 10 mins to assist me. Everyone was so focused on drive thru orders. They would even look at me and other people in line and didn't bother to attend us. I had to complain for assistance to take my order. My latte tasted so bad. They don't put attention to your orders. People are always complaining about their food. Horrible customer service!
I have visit this McD more than 7 yrs and never was so bad like it is now. This last months that I used the drive thru they took a lot of time to get the order ready or they missed something while you can see most of the workers laughing, joking and hanging around like if there's no reason to hurry up. Drive thru is to attend clients faster , if not in that case we will go inside to sit and eat. As soon as they take an order they should be working on it, not that at the window they still tell you that the chicken of your sandwich is still frying.
This was the worst service I have ever received! We were greeted by a woman that spoke Spanish first rather than English. When my wife requested English the worker then took our order and we paid but never received a receipt. We sat at the window waiting for our food and we were waived to pull forward to window 1. We sat there for a couple of minutes when a Male employee opened the window and attempted to give me someone else cookies. He left looking confused when we told him that was not our order. We then sat there and watched people pay and receive their food at the window behind us.we were there approx 12 minutes when my wife went in to find out what was up and to find our order of food. She had to tell them that we are in the drive way still waiting for our food and when the woman that took our order saw my wife she waved for someone else to deal with her rather than helping her. She found out after pointing out the longest timer still running was us and also found out our order was not filled yet. The worker said sorry and filled our order and when asked to please repete our order back to us because we did not get a receipt and we wanted to make sure it was our order the worker said it's all there. I have to believe the first order taker withheld our receipt and our order on purpose I'm thinking with out the reciept we cant give feedback on her. This is highly un professional and not to mention rude. I work every day in retail sales and would lose my job( rightly so ) if I treated customers that way. The way I look at it i need them as my customer way more than they need me as the company providing services. I would like a response back not just a poor apology and I will talk to her ( that's the response my wife recieved). Thank you. Love McDonald's coffee wish they changed their creamers. But the coffee from this place tastes is weird probably diluted so I stopped buying my coffee in the mornings couple of weeks agoI ordered 3 fish fillets sandwiches they were cold and sloppy made the french fries were cold after ordering through the drive-thru being in line. had to go back to see the manager she was nice offered to give me fresh new sandwich Whent back and order some chicken and nuggets... they were hard as a rock and tasteless probably over Frozen
The customer service is unacceptable! Since the facility has been remodeled service here has gone bad! Yes facility is nice but in this case looks are deceiving. When you walk in to order they do not welcome you, they just stand there and look at you. When your order is given to you they do not offer condiments, nope they walk away. A elderly lady had ordered coffee , was not offered creamer or surgar , walk to sit came back and asked. The cashier response was you should have asked the first time! She apologized and said sorry us older forget . And the response on top of that from the cashier girl was "apparently" .
Well, my family want spend some time here, so I decided try the new hamburger Canada Mozzarella .... on the picture is very nice... so I get the hamburger 🍔 and went I open the box, surprise, the hamburguesa has no tomato 🍅, so, I decide investigate what happen, I asked and the manager only answered me “ we have no tomato” ... I told her “ why nobody tell me anything at least “ and really, the hamburger has no good taste. I thought “what happen if the chicken finish, or hamburger patties “... they will give us only the bread, lettuce, maybe tomato and that it’s without tell us anything. 👎
I took the fries out and put them on my McChicken wrapper. As I put the ketchup on the paper noticed a hair. There was hair stuck in the French fries. I contacted the local Mc Donald’s and no one answered the phone. I left a message at the corporate office that same night and never heard back from them.
Everything was going wrong. Beautifully remodeled and I like the self-order kiosks, but here's the bad: 1. No "table tents" so if you order at the kiosks, when the screen asks you for the "table tent number" you have to spend a couple extra minutes figuring out what is going on. 2. They don't bring you your order when it's ready even though the Mgr said she would. 3. The kiosks don't print you a receipt so you don't get one. And you don't know your order # either. 4. They just call out random numbers for your order so, since you don't have a receipt with the order# you don't know what's going on with your food. You have to figure all this out on your own. 5. No one mans the counter, they're all in the back working, so every time you need something you have to yell to get their attention and feel like you're bothering them. 6. There was no ketchup out, it was empty, so we had to get someone's attention and wait for it. 7. No coffee stirrers out, as minor as that is. The breakfast was delicious though, so I'll be back, but hope management straightens some things out.

I had to say hello three times before anyone responded when I pulled up to the drive thru. I order 4 apple pies and then they tell me they only had 2. I was told it will take 8 minutes to make a fresh batch. I waited about 10 minutes and still had no one bring out the pies so I called. They told me that the apple pies are almost done
WORST SERVICE EVER! i couldn’t get my receipt before she took it away so I wouldn’t complain here both Hispanic workers SUPER rude and unfriendly. I asked for two apple pies and they gave slide of apples after waiting for 10 min then I asked them to change it because it wasn’t the order and they told me I had to get off and do it inside and wouldn’t give me my order. Then one of them started yelling at me saying she wouldn’t change it so i had her bring the supervisor who was extremely rude and threw my bag at me! I live in IB and trust me I won’t ever go back here& Don’t come here. And it was today 9/26/22 around 8:40 am
The fries are almost always soggy and over salted. You'd be one lucky fellow of they get your other right the first time. Do yourself a favor: never leave the drive thru window until you've checked your entire order, even if you have to open every sandwich. They will get at least one wrong. The service is quality, the people are very nice however they need to learn to read the tickets properly or slow down just a tad so they get it right the first time.
Hell no. Sanitary issue galore. I don't want a Mcpeepee or a quarter doodie with cheese. Wash your freaking hands! Wait the sinks don't work. Nevermind going somewhere else.
This location has gone down hill. Items missing from order in drive through. Burnt English muffins and hard hot cakes. Do not let them put you in the parking spaces to wait. If your order is wrong and it usually is, you'll have to go inside and wait for the correction. Check your order before you leave. Unwrap everything to make sure it's the correct item and not burnt.
There is an older Hispanic looking lady. She always has attitude when she’s tending the food in the drive through window and is very rude. And tends to to hand out incorrect orders after the customer has touched them and then proceeds to give it to the right car .. which is unsanitary.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOOD WAS COLD
I ordered my food thru the drive thru paid and I went to the next window the young man gave me my coffee which was the wrong one. Then he gave me my English muffin in a bag then forgets my oatmeal and I remind him about the oatmeal. I told that I had ordered an oatmeal and hands me the oatmeal and I asked if he could put it in a bag and that I also needed the spoon, the raisins, the apple slices and napkins. Not only does he need better training but common sense.
Horrible staff. Was treated poorly by staff, and I believe it was racially motivated. I attempted to come in the restaurant at roughly 9:45 am. A woman opened the door and told me " you go drive thru" with a very thick accent I asked, "is breakfast being served" she said " I told you go drive thru" and slammed the door in my face, almost hitting me with the door. I turned to go to the drive thru and a man that saw the interaction yelled for me and said " come inside there are people already inside". When I walked in I was shocked at how many people were dining inside of the restaurant. The man that she opened the door for, as well as everyone else in the restaurant, were Hispanic.. I am a Italian man, raised in Tijuana and wife is Hispanic.. I placed my order, asked for a manager and waited. Manager came, also Latino, and I explained what had took place. All she said was " So what should I do" with an attitude. I expressed that what had happened was unacceptable and all she said was " Ok thank you " again with an attitude. I asked how I can reach a general manager and she said " call number on receipt " and walked away. I've never felt so disrespected or offended in my life. I will reach out to corporate along with my info and receipt number. I will say this...In my opinion, stay away from this McDonald's at all costs.. I am going to make sure that I tell this story every chance I get. Horrible. There are 2 McDonald's on palm and dennery road.. inside of Walmart and the other right on palm Ave. Go to those. Unacceptable.....
Worst place ever. Ordered from the board then literally waited 40 min for the order to be filled. So many customers where complaining. Ice cream cones taken 20 min. A coffee not made correctly, forgetting drinks, cups, yogurts. All while I was waiting 40 min for my order. They also say out my McFlurry and Sundae for the whole 40 minutes I waited for my food.
Don't know about dining in but don't order from them via Uber Eats. Gave me half of what I ordered, half of what I didn't, charged me $45 and basically gave me a vocal shrug over the phone. Now my family is hungry AND I'm out $$ until I can get someone other than the dumb ass manager to reimburse me. The situation was terribly handled and I'm pissed.
I bought medium coffee approximately 10am 10/3/23 horrible coffee handed to me from drive through spoke to suvp Emily and did apologized and will take action..i go here every morning and noticed hispanic white female was rude she needs to be replace by a customer oriented with good behavior..thank you!!
This place does not close at midnight. Im here at 11:04pm and the drive thru is closed and the employees were counting out their money Edit: recently came back 8/30/25. Made an order, never got it. About 20 minutes in I talked to an employee about, he said he will go to the back and talk to the cooks. 10 more minutes passed by and I left. This place needs to close down its just not a good McDonalds.
I came to have dinner with my family here and they had all dinning tables closed. There were no cashiers so I submitted my order on their kiosk and the kiosk got stuck. We ask for help to one of the employees and his answer was “I don’t know how to used it and everyone is busy to help you”😡 They had NO CUSTOMER and no one could help us order. They should have closed the doors if their no one to help a customer and no table to eat because they don’t want to eat. It was 8:30 pm when we arrived.
Two of us- we each ordered the pancakes and sausage breakfast. It was as expected, no complaints on this upon receiving the food. The problem? We opened the bag with the butter, syrup, etc. and discovered they had only given us one syrup. So I went up to the counter and requested additional syrups and went back to my table. We then pulled out the utensils and saw they had only given us one fork and one knife. Back up to the counter for a 2nd set, since you know- there were two of us with 2 separate meals. Back to the table and my husband says where are the napkins. He goes back up and asks for napkins. It wasn't just us, the man sitting at the table behind us went up multiple times with similar requests. It feels like this was just an attempt to save money and limit what they provide to their customers. So, while the food was severed as expected- waiting to get extra syrup and much needed utensils, the food had lost it's heat and we ended up with not so hot pancakes. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. Employees were not rude or anything like that but they also were not friendly.
I call this location to check and confirm a grub hub purchase and ask them to check an order. The lady said she couldn’t find the order. Then I asked to confirm the address and she said she’s in imperial beach. Then I said I understand that. And asked if her location was on palm. She acted like I was crazy and said no. She doesn’t know what I’m saying which was a simple question. So I drive down to the location and asked to speak to a manager. Turns out the phone number I called matched the phone number. This location either hires anyone without a brain or they don’t care about client satisfaction. Definitely unprofessional. Got my food from grubhub and it wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered two double quarter pounder with cheese meals with cokes. I paid $35 for one small frie and a mc double. Definitely disappointed
This McDonald's stole $10 from me. I gave the drive thru cashier a $50 he gave me back $29. My order was $10.74. So I go inside the McDonald's and they make me stand there for 20 minutes while they count the money too see if I'm lying. Finally the manager walks up too me and hands me my $10 and walks away. That's it. If it wasn't for me going in and confronting them about the situation they would have STOLEN $10 from me. Didn't even apologize for stealing from me. NEVER AGAIN.
I tried to get my order through the drive thru but was ignored by Lorena after asking a question and did not end up recieving my order. I hope the staff can recieve training on acceptable customer service and improve for future customers

Bad service. Don’t come here. We ordered a large drink and gave us a drink in a medium cup and covered the cup size with a sticker. They need a new management on this facility. And the pancake and sausage is a literal 2 pancakes and 1 small ass sausage!
It's McDonald's. I know but dang. Do better. You're still a business. This location is always closed, or limiting something. They just finally fully opened the Lobby. Now it's closed, again. This time the entire lobby. -10 out of 10.
This location frequently, and I mean almost every time I make an order there, will allow you to use the McDonald’s app and place orders, using your points or paying for items that they will then refuse to serve you at the store for one reason or another, which is one thing, but they will also refuse to refund your order or give you an item of equivalent value. That is fraudulent and illegal. You’re not allowed to take money from a customer and not provide them with the purchased product.
Stop robbing your customers! This is the 3rd time where I ordered 2 6 piece chicken nuggets happy meal with extra fries. I get 4 pieces with regular fries and no dipping sauce. If I pay for 6 pieces and extra fries I should get that . No one seems to pay attention here . I guess costumers really need to double check your work before driving off . Do better .
Doesn't honor their mobile orders and always comes up with some policy that isnt readily available for customers to read on the spot or beforehand. Terrible customer service and can only solve problems that the answer is no.
Half the time they get your orders wrong or even worse they completely forget to put the food in your bags. Numerous times I've gone here and almost always theres missing orders. Its even worse if you order through Uber eats. Last week they didn't put in my fries or drink or the apple pies I ordered lol its sad really thay you have all those young workers and they cant somehow get it right. You buy nuggets they ask which sauce you want and they never add sauce you have to either hold up the drive through line or drive around again and ask them for sauce if its through uber eats you practically get a free meal 3/4 of the time which unfortunately its at ubers cost not mcdonalds so no improvements are made incompetent workers tho they are nice people but incompetent you can see clearly the toll the lock down had on the youth
I ordered breakfast and they got my order wrong twice and took long.
Don't got to this McDonald's it's terrible Terrible terrible customer service from a manager that will not even give me her name. They messed up my son's food and I just asked her name so I can come in and speak with her direct with my receipt and she would not give me her name she started to scream at me on the phone and told me there is nothing she could do very terrible service I suggest nobody go to this McDonald's if you do not want to get robbed for your money they will mess up your food yell at you and won't even give you their name corporate of McDonald's should be contact about this lady I do not have the name but I know the date that she was working so if any other managers are reading this review I hope that she will be dealt with it's not right to do to a customer and their children. The lobby was closed. So put in a mobile order and ready for pick up in 30 seconds. We called and the service said to walk to the other door with a door vell. So we walked around the small building at 3 different doors with the door bell. Took 10 mins to get our 30 second order that could only come through the magic door specified by them instead of the west lobby door that is also just right there 20 feet away..
Directed us to 3 different doors to pick up our food. Since the lobby was closed, did not say what side it was on, and we had to walk around the whole building just to find the pickup door. And to talk to me like I was stupid
This is how they made my "fresh" food. Made three times. No apology, put my partial refund on the counter. Was not going to give me tax back. Zero stars!!! Look at the photos. The third remake, looked just like the first two pictures. Ordered no salt on my fries. My fries had salt. Total waste of my time and money.
