First of all Irving church’s is always closed or slow as life , but today Terrance and them 2 ladies showed out !!! Fresh food , never tasted this fresh like serious , and never been this positive and the line was long and flowing !

We did carry out and it was wonderful! The chicken was cooked fresh. The sides were all wonderful. Everyone smiled and sighed in ecstasy after the trip to Church's! What a quick and excellent place to go for a spring get together!!! Even the pups were excited when they smelled the aroma! They had remodeled the location that we visited. It was nice and clean and anyone would enjoy eating inside. They offered numerous new drinks and new meal's and side combo's. And as summer time rolls in, I'll be trying their Southern Sweet Tea ! Mmm 😋

Good place. It was slow when I ordered so service and atmosphere was laid back. Price is okay. Didn't get my order wrong so that's always a plus.

There is a manager there, young black lady, blonde hair who usually takes my order every time I go. She is so nice and she makes sure that you get exactly what you order. The food is always fresh and their chicken is always done as opposed to some locations I've been to where you have to put it in the oven when you get home. This is my favorite location.

Ordered online and drove over to pickup. Went to open the door and it’s locked. Went to the window and I could see that only one person was working. The lady told me it would be awhile since she was doing everything herself. I ordered a lot of food too. Eventually I got my food and left. Just want to say bless that lady doing all the work by herself. I am amazed. The food was great and I got everything I ordered.

Custom service " PERFECTION PERFECTED " This is only my experience. I had once been served some bad chicken , hard fried or chicken that been sitting a min. But 94% of the time it's good & always get compensated if meal fails satisfaction 👍🏿

Aside from waiting in line outside, and it being super packed cause they were just a few fast food places open. Great!!! The one taking all the orders, worked great under pressure!! He maintained calm and friendly. If he's not a manager? Someone should definitely consider him.

This was my first time visiting this store the employees were friendly and welcomed me as I walked in. Food was nice n hot, temperature wise. I had chicken fried steak meal, it had good flavor, and not salty like some places. Thanks again see y'all soon.

I travel an hour just to visit this location. The food is ALWAYS hot & fresh. The customer service should be studied. The ladies there are always in good spirit & welcoming. This is very rare to find in fast food places.

There afte others near me but this franchise really impressed me. Went out of their way to serve us what we actually wanted and didn't make us feel guilty. I watched one of their employees washing her hands. She took GREAT care in that and it impressed me very much. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. It was a clean store and a clean parking lot. Can't say enough good things about this store. Head and shoulders above the rest.

It's Church's and we are fans. We were on our way back from Plano to Arlington and decided to stop by a Church's. Found this one on maps. It didn't have a drive through so I went inside. It wasn't too busy. Waited on right away by friendly staff. Parking lot is small. Inside there are a few tables to sit and eat. Ours was to go.

I went in on a wednesdsy a little before 5. It was very clean and the service was really good. I been to this locating a few times they’re always friendly and give tips when placing orders. My food was warm and so good.

The food is great it's just really hard to get your order through it if you speak English because they don't understand what you're saying and you don't understand them but they do a great job on the fruit they need to just hire someone who speaks English or I need to learn to speak Spanish The chicken breast and mashed potatoes with a honey biscuits are delicious

Churches have seem to change the recipe of a bit. For some it might be good but for others probably not. Tenders seem to be way more breaded I did not try the spicy. The french fries have some type of seasoning on them and when I got gravy it was pretty much like water. Biscuits seem a little different but they still had their chewy honey like taste.

I haven't been back to a Churches since my dad passed away but I went the other day and it was good but wasn't the same. I felt for the only guy working the front end and the back. It was only him and alot of customers. But he did a great job with my order

Terrence is really the only reason this place even gets any stars from me. Our original order was terrible. We received old chicken and after paying almost $40 had to come back and request a fresh order of food. We came back and Terrence was so accommodating. He cooked our order to perfection and even offered free drinks. But the man that was cashier tonight needs to be in the back cooking chicken.He was cursing, had a nasty attitude, impatient and was very rude to all customers including us. PLEASE put him in the back or get rid of him.!

The chicken tenders are definitely distinct - perhaps not my favourite, but still tasty. I recommend going with spicy over regular. The jalapeño poppers were also a good side with it. The staffmember taking my order was was friendly and polite, offering suggestions when I asked, and brought out my food when it was ready. The dining area itself was pretty run-down, but the food and service matter more to me, anyway.

This particular Church's Texas Chicken is great!!The food is ALWAYS nice and hot and correct. The employees are always friendly and willing to help and ready to take your order. Spicy tenders were fresh, hot, and tasty. The manager was extremely welcoming to all who entered the restaurant and said, " see you tomorrow," to everyone leaving. The other ladies I was with was pleased with there food choices as well...everything was fresh.

I had been there before and all was so good ,but this time they had run out of alot of things like jalapenos, mash potatoes ,spicy chicken they didnt know what a texas 2 pc. Fest was...I could taste the oil so much on my chicken😝. Maybe next time or maybe no more will see🤔

The young guys there need to learn how to talk properly to people. I don't do slang. I made a quick stop there a week ago and the doors were locked, but the widow was open for business. The chicken was okay, but it was mainly for my family since I was late with dinner.

The staff was very friendly and apologetic for the extremely long wait to order and receive everything. That's the reason for the three star rating, otherwise it would be 1 star due to waiting 20 minutes before we could even order. They may be understaffed

This place is steadily going down hill. I got a chicken sandwich and the bottom bun was hard as a rock. I took it back and they said it was because it was toasted. I've gotten sandwiches before and the bread was NEVER that hard. I WILL NOT be going back to that location. There is never a manager on duty.

This establishment used to do you right. As of tonight 1/28/2025 they have consistently got the orders wrong, served stale food and just plain failed at their jobs.

The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is I used to have good experiences here. (from my complaint with Churches) Some of the strips were just old and rubbery and cold, one looked like it was cooked the day before and rolled unnoticed under the heat lamp to be served today. The only things I ate were my biscuit and the corn nuggets that had to be cooked fresh. The manager(? I am not positive but she had keys to get into the register) very rudely asked what everyone wanted which I did not mind at all, but then she would make an very exasperated noise whenever someone asked for anything that was not pre-made. The other person with me also got strips and had the same experience except they also gave him the wrong sauce. It's not what it used to be and I think they rigged thier own prices on the specials for feedings. Prices were writing over other better prices.. I'm not going here anymore. The quality of the chicken was horrible. Burned and tasted old. They didn't even have Mac and cheese.. my sister used to work at churches chicken and said that when they say that they don't have something is because they don't want to do it! The customer has to wait for it to be made and we'll people don't like to wait. So yeah I was not satisfied.

The staff did lump sum billing for everything so you did not know how much extra you where paying and when questioned about not breaking down the bill, the manager got a pretty serious attitude so I went ahead and payed almost double for my order and left. I will not be eating from there again.

Friday June 18,2021 10:00 pm Terrible service! Guy rolled his eyes when I gave my order. Manager was laughing with him. There was a child in the kitchen. I saw someone order after me and the same guy who attended me dropped one of the chickens and grabbed it with the same hand he had just scratched his head with! That's disgusting! Never going back to this place.

Received 1 of the 2 meals ordered, was wrong, mixed pieces instead of spicy, the chicken we did receive was overcooked and dry, asked for 2 packs of honey & got hot sauce instead, the only nice thing is when another customer handed me a coupon for my order, upon returning the "food" for a refund the refund was $1 short. Never again, sure isn't in my top ten.

Did not get to order, me and another guy made it to the door, they let him in but not me. Its 9:30pm on a friday, store hours say 11. I just got told i cannot buy here, and he locked the door after letting the other guy in. I will not come back as this put a pretty nasty taste in my mouth.

Went there for lunch, they have a sign above the register for a 3pc combo $7.09. Juan charged me $9.49 and when I brought it up to him about the error he tells me that the special isn't popping up on his computer. I asked for the difference back and he says he can't and its not his problem. That kind of service is very unprofessional. He made no attempt to understand and correct the situation. He instead said its not his problem.

Just left from this establishment wanted get a feed 6 family meal. A gentlemen have previously left the lobby rapidly the lady lock the front door as she saw me pull up to the parking lot I got out and she locked the lobby door at 9 PM patiently waiting at the window and I saw her cleaning the tables waiting patiently to be attended but then she goes to the back of the kitchen and continues cleaning not acknowledging me as a customer, another lady employee goes to the cashier and don’t turn my way as communication is the key as coworkers. I see the trays and there’s few pieces chicken, no sides , little bit biscuits ready to be served. Literally had to knock on front entrance window to get employee attention, since not being glanced nor being attentive. The way I was attended/welcomed was totally not the very best. Wish there was an option for 0 stars it’ll definitely give it without hesitation due to the very poor customer service given to. Grateful for Church’s chicken location on “N O’Connor Rd In Irving Tx.” Glad I made it right before 9:15pm for late family dinner.

Had a MAJOR craving for some Churchs chicken today so I went andddd was COMPLETELY disappointed! I got a 10 piece meal with two sides and a biscuit for $15.99. The chicken that I received was NOT fresh and appeared to have been cooked in old oil! I was told that they were out of several items like mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, french fries and biscuits! 😏 I was really looking forward to getting some macaroni and cheese along with my chicken and I was even more let down when I found out they didn’t have any! AND on top of all of this we won’t mention the customer service but there were only two workers and neither of them were wearing hairnets, gloves, or even aprons! other people were coming inside of the restaurant to place their orders and one of the workers called out and said that they probably would be closing early because they were about to run out of chicken! This is the second time in one months' timing that I’ve come to this location and experienced unsatisfying chicken! The first time it happened I shrugged it off and gave them the benefit of the doubt but to come back a second time and experience something even worse than the first time?? NO WAY!!

To tell u the truth id like to take over the store. It was in need of a great manager I will take it over and get it going great. I bought a bourbon combo and half gollon of tea. Tea must of bee at least two days old and the chicken was so so greasy it soaked the bottom of to go box.

The worse church's chicken I've had yet. No seasoning on it, even the hot sauce didn't help. Service was lousy. I used to luve across the street from this location used to eat there on a daily basis with my grandson. Now the chicken looks like it's on steroids. Mostly it needs seasoning. My poppers/bombers were dry inside as if they had been sitting awhe. awhile. Would have rated 0 if I could. $20.00 wasted.

The chicken was good, but the place is filthy. Who is managing this location? Some employees without gloves on and face mask under their chins. All huddled up and talking at the counter when they should be cleaning and talking. Ever heard of MULTI TASKING? Trash not taken out, trash on the floor tables, chairs and equipment not wiped down. I guess this pandemic has not taught them anything.

This location skimps on the food. I ordered a shrimp platter and got 5 freaking shrimp; I counted them!! I was angry opening my box to see that garbage. The crew seemed like nice people and they were busy but this is unexcusable. I felt cheated and ripped off. 👎

The customer service really bad, we had to wait for 2 hour to get the spicy wings we ordered and we got regular wings even after taking the order they were arguing with us to wait for an hour more. The chicken is half cooked and very bad to eat. The staff is not even using gloves to prepare the food and place so unsanitized and I would not recommend Church's Chicken.

I usually love Churches Chicken. The chicken from this locations was HORRIBLE. I ordered 2 breast, 2 thighs, and 2 drumsticks . They had almost no meat. They looked and tasted old and totally dried up. They over charged us by $3 and when I said I wanted a refund they looked at me like they'd never done that before. They were out of cream gravy and forgot to give us brown gravy. They had at least 4 people working and still couldn't get it right.

I don't know how somebody can be this idiotic but not only did i order some chicken strips and waited an hour for them to tell me that they don't have most of my order, but the person who delivered my "order" came to my house with CHOCOLATE PANCAKES.

I went to this place 4 times. The first 2 times my jalapeño poppers were cold and all the cheese was cooked out of it. The 3rd time was perfect. This last time I didn’t even get to order my food. They were slow and yelling at each other instead of actually just working and getting to orders out. I understand there was only 2 workers and a manger but I’ve been in lines with only one worker there that was way more professional and faster. Thanks for the wasted lunch will not return.

I have eaten here several times but tonight was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The chicken was dry and bland. The french fry's and okra was ice cold. The Mac and cheese was, I'm not even sure, it was just really gross. The group couldn't decide what was wrong with it but it was disgusting. They were out of mashed potatoes. As of it couldn't get worse even the biscuits were bad. They were dry and hard and I'm pretty sure they forgot to put the buttery glaze stuff on the biscuits. That was the review after we got all the food because they forgot the biscuits originally. I know we should check before we leave and we usually do but we were just ready to go home. Only to have to turn right around and go get the biscuits. They did give us replacement okra and fry's when we went back which was nice but still the whole meal was really bad. Which is sad cause we really wanted that for dinner. I won't say we won't go back maybe it was a bad night but it was a really bad night.

The customer service is very disappointing. The restaurant was so dirty, I wanted to cancel my entire order. The employees is very rude. They was eating and on a phone call in front of customers; very unprofessional. The guy that was taking orders (I assumed to be the manager) was literally arguing with a customer because she requested fresh okra and that he miscounted her pcs of chicken. Which also happened to me but I didn’t realize until I got home. I called the restaurant to tell the guy and he hung up in my face! I didn’t even bother to go back up the store just because of the customer service. I spent over $30 on food, not even worth it.

If I could give this place a Zero star rating, I definitely would. I waited 35 minutes for 10 pieces dark chicken. Had other customers that came in after I ordered get their orders. Unbelievable! Avoid this place unless you got plenty of time to kill!

The staff is horrible. This past Sunday we ordered chicken and the person taking the orders had such a bad attitude. He claimed to be the manager and was very disrespectful to my mother. When I see my people cooking Church's Chicken, I have high expectations. It should be good. This was not. Fell lower than short. The chicken was old. It was not spicy. Some parts were not done. Crust overcooked and dry. Skin rubbery. Don't know how long Okra had been sitting but not on point. Jalapeños were not juicy. Corn on the cob bland and flavorless and cold. Overpriced for a small single corn on the cob. They charge damn near $3 for this small cob? Shameful. When did Church's start dishing out these small corn on the cobs? They used to be soaking in butter water. This small thing was not hitting at all. The only thing tasted ok was the small mash potatoes and brown gravy. I haven't been to Church's in a long time, and I can say this location was not hitting at all. I'm very disappointed 😞 I got excited when I saw "us" in there doing everything, cooking, managing, cashiering, and serving; however, even the customer service was disappointing. Wasted my time and money. Not going back. Sorry yall. 😞

I just left this store that's supposed to be open till 11pm. They said we don't have any more chicken. Even I still stood there in disbelief she says I don't know why your still standing here. This is the most ghetto churches I've ever been in. They are always so rude. They don't ever want to cook more food. They close when they want. They don't open if they don't want to. I order online. Went to pick up order. They told me they had no white meat. I asked for a refund. Manager told me I had to go thru the app because thats how I ordered. So I ordered online from KFC and even though they had closed they stayed cooking for a hour finishing orders. Sent messages to Church's app, emailed them sent from facebook messenger also called store no answer. I still haven't got my money but did get a message saying to contact store manager the same manger who told me to handle it online.

This was the worst chicken I have EVER tried to eat, zero seasoning, zero salt. The biscuit was flat and hard. They must have forgotten/left out the baking soda. The fried okra was good because I asked for it to be made fresh.

Poor service. The cashier was all over the place, didn't get my correct order and charged me for it. I love the mac n cheese from here but it was burnt and wasn't even enough to fill the cups. It looked as if the cups had been siting under a heat lamp because they were cracking and looked smashed. The chicken tenders were small, thin and were blackish. Didn't get gravy or my fires with the meal even though the cashier said it was in the bag. Asked for spicy and they said it would be a 15 min wait it was 11:30 in the morning! They are never prepared at this location as I have given the chances time and time again and they always seem to mess up my orders. Always running around like crazy never organized.
