Ordered slides and tenders with a friend, and the food was great! Definitely would recommend this spot, and make sure you add cheese to your sliders. I enjoy spice, so extra hot is what I go with, but if you can't handle spice, mild is probably the best choice, and reaper is available for high spice tolerance.

First time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken. My daughter saw it on TikTok and has been wanting to try it. Unfortunately, there’s not one by where we live. Today is a good day and we found this location on the way back from appointment. As soon as we walked in, Manager Verleshia greeted us excitedly and complimented us with a big smile. Menu is simple and not complicated for us first time. The cashier person, Jakavion, was friendly. He told us about how good the Kale Slaw is, so I ordered one for myself. The food was quick, and it’s hot and fresh off the fryer. The flavors are amazing! I picked spice level. They go from “no spice” all the way up to “reaper” (extremely spicy). The crust was crunchy, but not heavy-thick batter. It was just the perfect amount of spice. Although it came with Dave’s dipping sauce for extra flavor, the flavor on the crust was already there. The meat was plump, tender, and juicy. Manager recommended honey to go with Mac and cheese. She gave us a honey packet. It was delicious and out of this world. Who would have thought that honey would go so well with the Mac and cheese?! Food here is hand-down amazing! And the service is exceptional! The tables and the place were cleaned and spotless. The team would follow up with every table to make sure that we are good. I can tell that staffs are happy to be working here. Highly recommended this place. If I could give more than 5 starts, I would.

From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us with a warm smile and treated us like old friends. We weren’t sure what to order, Verleshia had patience and walk us through size options to be sure we didn’t over order for the younger people in our group. Her energy, friendliness, and genuine care made the entire experience feel personal and special. The food was fantastic—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor—but the service took it to the next level. The medium is a little hotter than say wingstops original hot. But the mild doesn’t come close. So choose accordingly. The chicken was temperature hot!!!! No lukewarm sandwiches here! Will come for lunch since my office isn’t that far away! The Mac and cheese has a subtle different flavor. We liked it!

Best spicy food in Dallas (when they have the cauliflower substituted tenders). Always the same great experience every time and fun to play around with the spice levels. Also if you want to hurt yourself, they have the reaper spice. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone though. Just stick to extra hot or lesser. The fries here are also some of my favorite with the seasoning and the crinkle cut.

I tried both medium and hot spice levels; medium had a nice kick without being overpowering, but hot might be a bit intense if your taste buds aren’t used to higher heat. The chocolate milkshake was smooth and rich—perfect to cool things down. Highly recommend!

Man oh man, Dave's Hot Chicken was delightful. They give you 2 planks of chicken, not "strips", PLANKS. These pieces are not small at all. I ordered "medium" and "no spice" (no spice isn't pictured here). Their crispy fries are great and the chicken was juicy, flavorful and filling. I definitely recommend trying Dave's Hot Chicken if you have the chance, and favor flavorful chicken. (The sauce was good, as well). Overall great decision for dinner in Dallas.

Daves hot chicken is the best chicken place ever. I first discovered Daves after going home from a camping trip and getting hungry so i decided to stop at Daves, it was amazing. I forgot about it for a while until i figured out there was one near my house so i went there and it was magical. A nice employee helped show me the menu and had amazing service. the atmosphere is fantastic having cool stickers and patterns on the wall. The food is so good it always fills me up with happiness. If you like spicy chicken go to Daves.

Went to this location as a first-timer and I have to tell you, I have never had a fast food experience as awesome as this one, ever! The food was incredibly fresh and hot...like straight out of the fryer hot. I had to let mine cool down a bit before eating it, but you can't get fresher than that! The chicken was crispy, juicy and very well seasoned. (Note: The Carolina Reaper is not for the faint of heart. Unlike other places that simply name a mild or watered down sauce 'Reaper,' Hot Dave's uses ACTUAL Carolina Reaper powder. I have to admit, it caught me off guard so much, that I had to take it down a notch to the 'Extra Hot' flavor, which was absolutely perfectly SPICY, spicy and flavorful.) You can tell that the GM, Rodney, really cares about his restaurant, employees and level of service because the restaurant was spotless, bathroom was super clean, the employees especially the cashier (Marley) was incredibly friendly, welcoming and patient (for us 1st-timers.) I was also surprised to see Rodney wiping down tables and checking on the customers, asking, 'How is everything? Everything good so far?' You only see that at VERY few fast food restaurants. (You better watch out, Chic-fil-A...Rodney's coming for you!) HIGHLY Recommend this location and they've definitely gained a new, weekly customer of me. :)

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken and wow, Dave’s 2 sliders beat Dave’s 1 tenders any day! The bun in the sliders soaks up that tangy, smoky sauce perfectly and super tasty. As an Indian, I’d say go medium or hot for a nice kick without losing the flavor. Extra hot? Too much, skip it. Fries were crispy, service was quick, and I’m already craving more sliders!

Ambience – The place is spacious and well-organized, with neatly arranged chairs and cool graffiti-style wall art that adds a fun vibe. There’s also plenty of parking space, which is a big plus. Food: The food was okay. The chicken was tender and it came out hot. We got the lite mild which wasn’t very flavorful in my opinion. I imagine the more spice, the more flavor however, the more flavor the more spice I guess. The fries were good and the sauce that came with the chicken was okay. The bread wasn’t good at all. We also tried the shake and it was good. Very watery and not thick for a milk shake in my opinion. The candy dropped to the bottom and created a sand like bottom. Service: The guy at the counter was great, very attentive. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great also, plenty of seating and clean. Price: The price was a bit much for a two tender plate. $12 per two tender plate without a drink. The pice made the experience ever worse. Overall, I won’t be back because honestly, there are better options for chicken tenders and fries.

Ordered from GrubHub and asked for additional packets of ketchup and honey for 2 orders of sliders plates. I only received 1 ketchup and 1 honey for the amount of food ordered. And, fries were cold and soggy. I will have to rethink about ordering from this restaurant location near my work in the future.

Hello! I went to this location and was treated like an idiot by one employee wearing a red bandana. STAY AWAY FROM HERE IF VEGITARIAN! Go to any other location for your own sanity if you are. It's not worth the disrespect. A week prior we had ordered a cauliflower sandwich (Pictured). And it was flat and sad, it happens sometimes. Had only a little cauliflower through half of it. I go to get it replaced. The cashier clicked her tongue at me and acted like I was trying to get free food! I told her it was flat and had almost no cauliflower and she said "Sir, that isn't how frying works" and preceded to tell me how frying food works. I showed her the pictures and then she told me AGAIN how frying food works. I had to threaten to go to corporate to get the sandwich replaced. She kept eying me up and down, judging me with her eyes like I was an idiot white boy. When she put it in she looked up and said "And you want ALLLLLLLLL this?", like I was trying to replace the whole order. I said no I don't want freebees I just want the sandwich remade. Then she looked at me like she was going to SPIT ON MY FOOD! Like I picked the cauliflower out and I'm faking it! I just want to get the amazing sandwich how its supposed to come!😭 Anyhow the manager later gave me the new sandwich, giving me some spin on how the recipe changes here and there. He was very polite but I know when I've been profiled and mistreated. (Regardless +1 star for being professional you're cool) I used to love this location but this interaction has changed my opinion about this Dave's. I did also include a pic of the full size cauliflower sandwich which is an amazing option. But with employees like that I will never go to this location again. (Btw I make an amazing Louisiana style fry on my own chicken <3, been to NOLa 3 times and counting just to figure it out and nail it) Tldr: I wanted a replacement sandwich and got treated like I don't know how food works. Dave's is worth it but maybe not this one.
