For what DP Dough is trying to do - a cheat, late night meal - it does everything right. Don’t expect a 5-star meal … but that’s not the point. For the cheap price, their calzones hit the spot

Ordered Big Red Zone (chicken bacon ranch) takeout in person. Still tastes pretty good after 15 min walk back to my apartment even though it's lukewarm at this point. Marinara is just the right amount for a calzone although I'd prefer a warm sauce. Menu price $10.75 already includes tax, which is nice for diverse students at Cornell.

After a long day of hiking, then getting clean after we ran out of places to eat. Thankfully D.P. Dough was open at 11 and delivered our food. We ordered online and were unsure if they were really open (because we've never experienced a food place open so late) but after a little while we got the call that the driver was at the hotel! They saved us and our poor empty stomachs. The calzones were really good too! We got a simple order and they were exactly what we needed. Definitely going to use them again now that we know they are open so late!

These are the type of people that you want to make a calzone for you. Food was delivered fast, hot and delicious. We got two calzones, the garlic parm boneless wings and a Reese’s dessert and everything was on the money. Thanks for showing us some love, dp dough!

After 4 years living in the area, I finally cracked and decided to try. Now, I will preface my review with saying that I am not a "calzone guy", which is to say that I don't have any opinion on how a calzone "should" be. The good: delivery was cheap and very fast, especially directly through their website. Very good prices. The boneless wings I got were fine, the quality I expect from a late-night dive. The bad: my order was wrong! I ordered (and paid a bit extra) for a chicken parmesean calzone, and was met with a normal, pepperoni-stuffed calzone. I don't like to send food back (plus, this was delivery), but without any substance in it, I found the calzone to be greasy with the cheese providing no flavor other than grease. It's possible that I would still not have liked it if my order had been correct, but that would be a matter of taste and not worth reviewing. Disappointing that this place everyone i know seems to enjoy ended up being a bust, but if you enjoy dive-y, greasy, and cheezy, it may very well be for you. Just wasn't for me.

Ordered online via GrubHub for pickup and food was ready on time (this was at lunchtime while Cornell students were in town). Calzones were OK, not amazing but decent considering the price (about $8 each) and convenience. Each comes with a cup of marina sauce. Calzones are good size, not overly gigantic but definitely filling. Staff was friendly. They have about six vegetarian calzone options.

Friendly service, Fast orders, Good Sauce selection. Okay price ($9 per Calzone) Bread is very doughy; feels like it's not cooked long enough. Only 2 calzones are vegetarian out of 20 options.

The sizes of wings provided are downright pathetic. They have a soggy texture, and a good enough sauce. For just six of them, the cost listed on the menu was an already high $6.99. When I actually ordered, it turned out that the menu I was provided with, and the actual cost was an outrageously shameless $8.45. The service was great despite this mixup, and the guy working there was real nice, throwing another two wings in. Even with this increased value the order was an utter ripoff, with the smallest wings I’ve seen in my life. I understand that not every place has great wings, but few have such high prices for so lacking wings. It’s enough to put me off D.P. Dough altogether, even if the calzones are passable.
