Best breakfast is just like being at home with the family

I eat here about once a week when able. The service is fantastic, the food is perfectly cooked almost every time, the price is perfect and the environment, can be a little loud, but is a very comfortable atmosphere with no drama. Almost every one are very nice meaning the customers as well as the staff. Keep up the great work.

Ok waffle house I see you ! This location was absolutely superb. The hostess at the front was super friendly and helpful . I saw this kid greeting everyone, bussing tables, cleaning the smallest crumbs and just keeping the chain moving. After we got our food he even came over and asked how our day was and checked everything came out OK. I wish I caught his name because he certainly deserves a shout out. The entire staff knocked it out the park. I've never been to a waffle house where after I left felt the urgent need to give mad props. Good job yall and see ya soon.

This has been the best Waffle House experience I have ever had in life! All of the staff was friendly and we received our food quickly. Our server Princess was so attentive. I will definitely be back!

We were visiting Houston and decided to stop into this Waffle house on the way back to San Antonio. The food was made quickly and tasted phenomenal. I love that this restaurant is not only affordable but provides quality food that truly sticks to you. I rolled out of there I was so full! 3 adults and 3 kids were able to eat for under $70 with full meals and drinks. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone. This is the second time we've been there and both times were just as tasty. Thanks for the great experience!

Jaylene made me the BEST grits from Tx to Arkansas! I never made it out the parking lot with my pick up order. The entire crew was so nice and in such spirits! After a 12 hour shift the greeting and service received was everything to give me my final push to make it home! Thanks guys!!

I'm aware that waffle house has a certain type of reputation But this location far exceeded anything that I could have imagined. The restaurant was immaculately cleaned. The wait staff and the cooks were very accommodating and friendly. But what impressed me the most is the management. Ms Alfreda greeted me from the time I walked through the door check the numerous amounts of time. And made sure that I lacked and wanted for nothing. Her warm and inviting spirit just made the whole dining experience an overall delight. She is definitely a huge asset to the company.

Best WH in the area, neat, well taken care of, you can hear the manager keeping the place running and it makes it feel real (like diners back in the day) makes a huge difference. Service is quick and polite even if there is a line. Very quick with the drinks to help you wait. Very cool for families.

They made me feel like I was welcome almost instantly and were kind, they went above and beyond. I live far away but if I am ever in the area or craving some food I will go.

My husband and I ate at this Waffle House today. From the moment we walked in the door every one was very friendly. Hope was our server and she did a wonderful job. She was friendly and courteous. Our food was served hot, promptly and tasted very good. We had a great experience and will be back soon.

I have been going to Waffle House since May of 1976. There were only 3 in the Houston area then in Pasadena on 225 (gone now) and on Eldridge Dr by Gulf Freeway and on NASA road 1 off 45 South. But now they are all over. We get excellent service at Fry Rd from Roe. She is a server there for several years. Last time my bacon was a bit overcooked so she actually threw another slice on the grill and brought it to me. Their coffee is no longer freshly ground but still has that excellent smooth taste. Often very busy for good reason.

We’ve been coming to this waffle house for the past year and the food is always hot and the service is quick and efficient. This location is always hopping with customers and it never takes them long to get us seated and serve us hot food. The kitchen is a well oiled machine. The managers here should be really proud!! Best Waffle House I’ve ever been to!!

Honestly, I didn’t know a Waffle House could actually feel warm and inviting. Customer service was amazing. The unit manager was encouraging her employees and people seemed happy! They were super busy but I didn’t feel the stress of that. Will definitely stick with this location from now on!

Great Service! The staff this morning (11/2/2024) did an awesome job. Attentive, polite, professional, food was cooked right. The cook came to ask how was our steak personally! The young man cleaning took time to open the door for some guests with little ones. Good service is hard to get these days. It’s about the experience and we had a great one this morning!

You haven’t lived until you’ve hung out at Waffle House until 3am. Especially if Paradise is there. Great waffles. I never tried waffles with chocolate milk before. Almost a little too sweet combined with the syrup. But actually perfect. Consider me a convert from 2%. The waitress’s name was Paradise. She was fun but mentioned something about traveling to Brooklyn which is crazy. I feel like she’d fit in more in manhattan. Shamoya recommended the sausage, egg and cheese hash brown bowl. It was so good I think I’m coming back every night from now on. Well maybe not you do need to sleep eventually. Shoutout 5 Star Princess. 1 in a million. Definitely dots her I’s and crosses her T’s. She keeps saying she’s not from New York but talks exacccccxtly like a New Yorker.

Overall my only disappointment was not seeing a brawl like I thought happened all the time at Waffle House. Maybe those are uncommon at 1:30 in the afternoon on the weekend. 😂

Late night/early morning eats with friends (as is common for Waffle House) and honestly, had super friendly and attentive service. Food came fast made to order right in front of you. Everything came out perfect as usual, I’ve really never been disappointed. I get my eggs scrambled hard with cheese, my has browns made all the way minus the ham and gravy, and a succulent chicken breast. Waffles don’t disappoint but did not get that this time. Me and my husband just ate here 7/13 on our way back home to San Antonio and it was my first time at a Waffle House! I just gotta say I was throughly impressed from the staff to the food! I had the hash brown bowl and a waffle with bacon. It came out fast and hot! But what really impressed me was the staffs friendliness and TEAMWORK. Valerie and Olivia doing what they do and also chatting with the customers so friendly. Jackie calling out orders and the grill staff getting it done without skipping a beat! For years I was passing by and always wanted to visit, so glad that I finally did. Upon entry a delicious aroma of freshly cooked waffles greeted us. Deborah was the sweetest person and provided the most attentive service I’ve received in a very long time. Waffles were popping hot, coffee was fresh and tasty, hash browns were golden and crispy. 2 other employees were also very quick and very friendly with other guests. The cafe is clean and the service process is well organized (I didn’t noticed any delay with placing an order, receiving food and checking out). I’m planning to stop by the other time I’m in town.

Well the food is waffles and bacon and etcetera, so basically regular breakfast. However I have to get props to Jackie, she was really really friendly and made the whole experience awesome for me and my family.

First time at a Waffle House. Had a classic waffle (it was flaccid, yuck), hashbrowns smothered/covered/chunked (with onions cheese & ham) (OK, but thought the texture of the potatoes was oddly pasta-esque), and biscuits & gravy (the best of the bunch, biscuit was warm and pleasant, gravy had good sausage flavor). Coffee was good, unsweet ice tea also good. Server was very nice, and was definitely the best part of the whole experience.

The cook is fantastic and her food is great. The white lady taking my order was rude and condescending and had the nerve to tell me with an attitude, after I asked her simply is there ketchup in the bag. While it is true that Waffle House offers a variety of food options, including their renowned waffles and hash browns, these positives were overshadowed by the downright abysmal service I experienced. No amount of delicious food can make up for the complete lack of respect and consideration shown by the staff. Waffle house food is always good; but at this location, the waitresses didn't do a good job. The young lady name princess walked past me for 15 minutes without even looking at me. She's only focused on one table. I tried getting her attention and I know she heard me. The cook had to say to her" have you took his order". Then she says oh, can take you order. It was very few people there and everyone was eating except me. She seemed to pick and choose who she's willing to help. 2 waitresses on duty and both ignore me

Service was horrible. The weight staff unorganized and talking loud personal business. General manager district manager sitting there and the seats had food in them. crust the whole building on the inside men’s restroom running water on the floor urine gnats flying around in the restroom area, salt and pepper shakers nasty, using the same towel to wipe tables off without even rinsing floor, slippery and greasy.

Last night, I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Waffle House location. One of the staff members, Kash, displayed unhygienic behavior while preparing my food. I observed her remove a waffle from the waffle maker with her bare hands after eating food in front of me, without washing her hands. She also switched out my friend’s order with her own food, substituting it with a breakfast sandwich instead of what I originally ordered for him. When she noticed me watching, she responded with an attitude. Additionally, the quality of the food was poor—my eggs were undercooked, and the toast was not toasted. This lack of attention to cleanliness and customer service, especially during late-night hours, is unacceptable. I strongly encourage management to address the behavior and professionalism of the night staff to improve the experience for future customers, especially since this location serves many guests after late-night events. Unfortunately, I do not plan to return to this location based on this experience.

This was supposed to be the All star breakfast with the waffle and choice of meat including what is pictured with 2 sides of grits. We ordered to-go last night around 2-3 am. The people forgot our order and we had to tell them what we have. My boyfriend thought the meat and everything was included. I only received what is pictured and 2 sides of grits. This was truly disappointed because I didn’t receive my full meal of the all star breakfast. ONLY HALF OF IT.

The whole family, 9 of us, met for breakfast with 5 cars. We went to have breakfast, and while dropping off a member of another family, the manager called for a tow for the car. I recommend everyone be aware of this.

I had a very disappointing experience today at Waffle House. I placed a simple to-go order, and the employee taking my order had a very rude and dismissive attitude from the start. What really concerned me, though, was the food safety. While my order was being prepared, the cook was wearing gloves but used the same glove to pick up a dirty rag or sponge and wipe down a dirty area near the grill. He was even waving the rag around near the empty container that my waffle was about to be placed in. Without changing gloves or washing his hands, he then used that same glove to pick up my waffle and put it into the container. That is extremely unsanitary and completely unacceptable when preparing food. Basic hygiene standards should always be followed, especially when customers are watching their food being prepared. Between the rude service and the unsanitary food handling, this was a very unpleasant experience. I hope management addresses these issues because customers deserve better.

Went to check the other place nearby, same experience. We ended up eating at a different place that turned out to be very good! When we crave for waffle, we will go on weekdays then. Maybe line is less than Sundays.
