Ballpark Pizza is a nostalgic, family-friendly sports bar known for its generous toppings and arcade games. Customers consistently praise the Gladiator pizza and the friendly staff, especially Armando. Some find it pricey, but worth it for the quality and experience.
Tip: Bring quarters for the arcade games. Consider ordering the Gladiator pizza for a meat-lover's feast, or a pep-sausage well-done light on the red sauce.

We met up here with neighbors yesterday to enjoy some delicious pizza together. The cauliflower crust was fantastic combined with grilled chicken, pesto, garlic oil and fresh tomatoes. A gourmet taste at our favorite local pizza restaurant. Highly recommend!
This place is the absolute best! It has nostalgic smells, great beer selection, great pizza, solid value.
Ball park is a great pizza place good for families. Sports after events and just a great pillar of the community. I've been coming here since I was a kid and had a craving for their pizza. Although the till had been closed out early they gave me a free pizza. 10/10 love this place
HONESTLY..... best pizza joint in CALIFORNIA. I personally have been getting pizza here for over 25 years. The taste has stayed the same. I appreciate the owners and most of all the GREAT PEOPLE who run this place. I will always eat here.. Just the taste of the pizza nostalgic..... THE REGULARS KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. This place is a GEM in Laguna Niguel.. I respect everything about this place...WONDERFUL PLACE WITH GREAT FOOD AND FAMILIAR FACES...GOD BLESS!!!
The best pizza in Orange County (maybe anywhere) especially if you like a lot of toppings. Been coming here for 30 years and they’ve never disappointed. Inside is good for having a beer, pizza and watching sports games and they have a mini arcade for the kids
Hands down best pizza in the USA. Doesn't matter what toppings or meal you order. It'll be delicious, hot and perfect. I've been going to ball park since I was a little girl after soccer games or baseball games. Now much older, I'm pregnant and it's all I crave! You won't regret giving ballpark a chance to be your favorite pizza joint.
Excellent, high quality, always fresh toppings on their pizza. A very fun, high energy atmosphere. Delicious salad bar, prepared salads, spaghetti, and sandwiches. Service is top notch too!
REALLY great, first time visitor. Small locals only vibes but I really appreciated the food. It was a bit pricey but worth it, definitely will come visit again!
I can't tell you how much it means to me that this establishment is still in operation and cranking out the best dang pizza ever! I've been enjoying Ball Park Pizza for more than 30 years at this location, and if memory serves even longer than that. I love that they sauce the pizza to the edge, the toppings are fresh and well portioned and the service is consistently good. If you haven't had a Ball Park Pizza, you are missing out on one of life's great pleasures!
I went here for the first time yesterday. The sausage pizza was probably the best I have ever had. They definitely did not hold back on the amount of meat, which is usually my gripe with toppings on a pizza, and it tasted great too! The staff was friendly and helpful and they have dividers set up to keep things safe while operating. I will be back.
Literally the best pizza I've ever had. Sounds crazy but it's true! Definitely recommend the bacon (they give you actual mini strips, not just crumbles) or Italian sausage. Super cozy local atmosphere with large TVs and arcade games for the kids. Obviously a big supporter of community youth teams. Well worth a visit!!!!
Super friendly and kind staff. Pizzas are our family’s favorite. Only room for improvement is the ranch. Their Salad bar ranch is amazing. Ranch in packets are not.
We went for an end of season team event to celebrate our kids Championship win. We had a section of the restaurant marked off for us. The kids had so much fun. Being from NY and having a different pizza experience growing up, this was amazing! Felt like I was back home at the really good pizza joints. We had a blast! Food came up fast. Process was easy and painless. Games for the kids was the icing on the cake!
I have been going there since I was 5 yrs old (I'm now 41 lol). My dad always told me that they had the best pizza, but ad a kid, pizza was pizza. I didn't know the difference between little Ceasars and papa John's. But now I have become my father and agree that it's the best pizza you can get in South Orange County. Beats every other pizza place, including Papa John's. Atmosphere is great too. The games are fun for the kids (just make sure to bring your extra quarters). Good selection of beer. They always have sports on the this. They have ice cream for dessert, and best of all, they have always sponsored the local high schools and little league sports teams. I recommend, 10/10... but I might Bea little biased.
Today was great like many other times. We meet this wonderful lady that was complimenting us with my grandkids (all 7 of them) She gave us a little gift card for Christmas and said from Secret Santa... She made our day and hope to invite her to eat with us next time🤗 Thank You secret Santa 🤶
We had a large sausage, mushroom, and onion. Thin crust cooked perfectly. Sausage was excellent. Onions and mushrooms were fresh. Generous topings. Total was $26. Great price. Will definitely eat here again in the future. Please don't change ANYTHING. 🙏
An incredible blast from the past! You feel like you've been transported back in time to the 80s or 90s! Ambiance is so cool. Large screens with sports playing for adults. Fun old arcade games that take you back in time as well Generous portions and pizzas that actually have lots of toppings! Vegan cheese available too
This is a sports bar/pizzaria. Great screens for watching football outstanding service from the staff, and the pizza is to die for. Not to mention the ice cold beverages. We will be back!
I ordered a medium Double Play Pizza well done and it did not disappoint! Was so heavy with toppings I almost needed help carrying it to the car. I ordered by phone and it was still cooking when I arrived to pick it up so I enjoyed a fine pint of Dos Equis Amber while I waited. When my to-go pizza was finished the kind gentleman behind the counter delivered it to my table and opened the box to make sure it was cooked to my liking. Prompt, courteous and professional employees serving generous, flavorful pizzas. Highly recommended!
I've been to Italy, heck, I've lived there. Yeah they make nice pizza, but Ballpark, let me tell you, they are in a league of their own. Get a pep-sausage well-done light on the red sauce and tell me it isn't the best pie you've ever had. I dare you.
My kids and i love this place! Great staff and delicious food. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Garlic cheese bread, chicken wings, and the gladiator are the best. Draft beer to wash it all down...mmmmmm p.s. DON'T FORGET to tip whether you are dinning in or carrying out. Those guys/gals work hard. I have noticed more time then not, people rarely tip for the service.
I tried this place for the first time yesterday and was really happy with the value and quality. I got a large pizza with the works. Even got anchovies on the side. It was delicious. When I got the pizza it weighed twice what I expected, and the crust is thin. I've never seen that much meat and toppings on a pizza outside of Chicago deep dish pizza, and they charge a lot more. And it tasted like good quality ingredients too. I hadn't had a regular, old fashioned classic pizza like this in a long while and this was best of class. I recommend it highly!

I wamted some good pizza amd somewhere new. This place reminds me of a place I went as a kid. Great food and beer selection. Plus happy hour prices and big TVd. Also everyone was very nice, would come again.
Love Ball Park Pizza, good food at a fair price and staff is so polite and welcoming. Armando is awesome! Great place to with family and sports teams!
Been coming to Ball Park on and off for the last 25 years, way back when my childhood baseball team came here. Nothing has changed, and that is for the better. The Gladiator pizza is by far the most meat I've ever had on a pizza. Quality is great, prices are a tad high but it's well worth it, definitely a great local pizza spot.
Granted, it’s been 17 yrs since I lived in Laguna Niguel but the fact I am writing this review should tell you all you need to know. This place was THE PLACE our friends and my wife and I would take our kids after every sporting event. The kids had a blast playing games while the adults enjoyed a cold beer or glass of wine. Then, THE PIZZA!! Ballpark’s pizza is OUTSTANDING. EXCELLENT crust, sauce, and toppings. Nothing is skimped and EVERYONE was happy. I have visited on my occasional visit back to LN (if I’m within 60 miles of Laguna I WILL go to Ballpark Pizza)! Anyone reading a negative review on here about Ballpark, PLEASE remember that there are people in the world that live to complain. There is NO pleasing them and these people are also the ones that expect the world if any mistake is made. We have all seen these people in action. Look at the OVERWHELMING responses of nearly all. Focus on these as this is what you’ll get at Ballpark Pizza!!
This place used to be my favorite, I moved away but every time I visit Laguna Niguel from where I'm originally from always have to stop by and I am very happy. It is better than the one up north. And they have a little salad bar. But I kid you not. It's one of the best. I enjoy the accoutrements that they provide.
Perfect place to bring kids after a game or day in the sun. The pizza is good, they kove the coin-operated arcade games, and the nostalgia of the place is perfect. It always reminds of trips out for pizza with my own parents. We come here at least 2x a month--more often if my kids get to decide. I definitely recommend it.

Here, you never have to ask for "extra". The toppings you get always touch all the way around the pizza! The cheese is already thickly layered. Customer service was great, and friendly. It's just expensive: a large 12" pizza with 3 toppings was $25. However, this is likely enough for 2-3 grown men, as I'm on my second slice and beginning to struggle (definitely taking a lot of pizza home today). The pizza was piping hot, so it definitely will stay warm for a drive home as takeout. As far as taste, it's not bad at all. I'd gladly come back to try other sauces and crusts, as thick cheese isn't what I care for. I'm also surprised by how well the pizza is holding together and not exploding all over the table! After speaking with the owner, I can confirm that all ingredients are made fresh daily as well! For birthdays, events, etc., I can easily recommend this place for your future pizza needs
I can’t really say how many times I’ve been here, but over the last 20+ years it has definitely remained as our “go to” neighborhood pizza place. Large triple crown and a schooner of Sierra Nevada. That’s all you need for pizza happiness.
We ordered 4 large pizzas for 15 people and we had plenty left over. The pizzas were excellent. They have a good selection of interesting pizzas. The Grand Slam was everyone favorite but the Beto's bobsled was also tasty.
Great oversized pizza, crispy crust, fresh and plenty of toppings, variety of on tap beers, Food is great, and a large pizza satisfies four young men but not having a patio and dated interior lowers a single star.
It is decent pizza. The pepperoni is of good quality but does produce a lot of grease. The sauce is mild and cheese is decent but not extroidanary. The firmness of the dough is quite nice and has a golden brown color and was evenly cooked. I will eat it again but it did not attract me fully to disregard other pizza establishments.
The pizza here is great, the service was good and the people were helpful and friendly. It is a lot like a pizza bar, so the beer selection is decent and there is a wine list for the non beer drinkers. It also has arcade games for the kids to play and a quarter machine so you can fund them!!
Probably the best pizza around with many beers on draft to choose from! Reasonably priced with many tvs to see from any seat in the house! Old school pizza parlor feel with arcade games and the perfect atmosphere for sports teams. Not a 5 star simply because the decor was pretty shabby but I liked the nostalgic feel anyhow. They were also kind of rushing out customers right at closing time.
Great neighborhood pizza location. Big supporter youth sports. Decor is dated, but that's also the charm of this place. Arcade machines add to entertainment. Pizza is above average with quite a few specialty options. Sandwiches and salad bar also available for those that don't want pizza. Great draft beer selection.
So, my partner and I have a couple of pizza spots we like to hit up, while in the area. The other popular one told us it was a 45-minute wait, while this spot was a much quicker 20 minute wait, big plus there! The customer service was solid; everyone was friendly and chill. We were really craving New York-style pizza, but honestly, this place was okay, good not terrible but also not quite NY style. The wings, on the other hand, were a highlight: big, juicy, and the sauce was spicy enough to kick it up a notch. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the wings they did the job and then some. The pizza was decent, but the wings really stole the show for me.
Pretty good pizza. If you order it by the slice it comes precooked from a warming oven, unlike other places that half bake it before then do the final bake when you order it. This places has a lot of big TVs and a ton of sports. Looks like it would be a fun place to be for a football game.
I’ve been going here for a few years now. Great place to bring your kids, have a pitcher of beer and some za 🍕 Bring a roll of quarters so the kids so they can play the arcade games. Bang it’s a win win situation

It's hard to say but maybe TOO much sausage? Is line to taste the rest of the pizza.
We stumbled upon this by accent. It's super cute on the inside, some arcade games for the kids to play. However, the food... not good. The pizza was a little burnt and tasted like cafeteria pizza, which honestly... can hit if you're in the right mood. The sandwich was more bread, lettuce, and thick slices of tomatoes (it was used as a filler) with a SMALL serving of meat. The most disappointing item was their "spaghetti." It tasted like the canned SpaghettiO's. I had the other people at my party try it, and they all agreed. Took 2 bites and couldn't finish it. We were disappointed, especially considering we paid a little over $80 in total. At least the all-you-can-eat salad bar was good. And the young man who took our order was absolutely adorable, super sweet. He was super understanding and polite when I asked for a refund on 1 of the dishes. The manager, on the other hand, gave me such a sassy attitude while he was processing my refund. lol, it was like he couldn't believe someone wouldn't like his "SpaghettiO's." Definitely have no desire to go back. Though I understand why people are drawn to it, especially when wine was discounted on Wednesday.

Decided to try a new pizza place, but $60 for 2 large pizzas is a bit rough (for pickup). The plain cheese had way too much cheese making it very very rich. The other pizza was overloaded with toppings to where half the amount of the toppings would have been better. I can see how the atmosphere might be good for kids, but the price and taste of the pizza wasn't there for us
If my post was based on food alone, this place would get a solid 5 stars. Their pizza is easily the best in the area. I think it’s likely the best in South Orange County. They are generous with the toppings and the food is great quality. There’s just one problem: the people working here don’t seem to care about customer service. I hate judging places by one bad experience. Mishaps happen. But this place is consistently messy. Be it busy or not busy, there is trash everywhere! And the staff doesn’t seem to mind it because they make no effort to clean up. However they close up shop earlier than the times posted. So if you are in there they make it very clear they want you to leave. I gave it 3 stars but it’s GREAT pizza....just get it for carry-out. I hope they clean up their attitude. I don’t like giving bad reviews because it seems very douchey. But management needs to be made aware of the problems their staff has. Edit: Last time here was the last straw. I arrived 30 minutes before closing, and ALL chairs were put up and they were done vacuuming. This happens consistently. Why would you close so much earlier than all the times posted? Until now I’ve ignored the lack of customer service because the food made up for it. But they clearly didn’t try this time. My order of wings and potatoes had what was obviously the last hand full of potato wedges they had left. And the pizza was sloppily thrown together. I always take visitors to this pizza spot when they want pizza. But I think they’ve forced me to go elsewhere. It was nice while it lasted.
Takeout Ballpark’s Double play pizza, wings and potato wedges for 15 years despite the diminishing customer service. Today I asked where my wedges were and the girl repeatedly insisted I didn’t order any. After several back and forth, she pulled my receipt from the trash and said..”oh yea you did”. The oven gentleman came over, without a word, took the wing container from my hands, opened it and said, “here they are”. The wedges were in pieces and crumbled mixed with the wings. I complained but was assertively told I “should have asked for separate containers”. They’ve always come in separate containers. Who mixes wings and fries. Again, after complaining that this wouldn’t do, he said it would be another 10 minutes. I literally said, “OK, I will be back in ten minutes”. 15 minutes later, I asked the same girl for my potatoes. She rolled her eyes and said, you didn’t say you wanted them. I reiterate the “ten-minute conversation” and she said “but you didn’t actually say you wanted them”. Why would I say that I would be back in ten minutes. She said, “I don’t know” with a lateral head shake. The oven fella eventually gave me someone else’s potato order. The overall tone and dismissiveness was pungent throughout the experience. I hope they read this and have a team huddle for improvement. I then stopped at Brooklyn across the street to pick up a spinach salad and although packed with people, it was the most pleasant experience.
Way over priced! $35 for a medium pizza and $11 for a pint of modelo?!? Also, the only guy wearing gloves was the one boxing the pizza. I work in food service so I get using bare hands but only if that is all you are touching. Going back and forth to the register and pouring beer then not washing? Not good...

My party and I arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday night. Ball Park hours are clearly posted on line and on the door they are open until 10pm. All of the chairs were already put up on the tables. They were vacuuming and mopping like they were closing. We asked if they were open and as the cashier was counting his money, barely making eye contact, replied ‘take out only’. The reason it’s take out only? “There are no customers”. Well you just lost more business. Unacceptable ball park. Stay open during the hours advertised.
Pizza is good service worst ,we were having a great time almost to close 8;56 pm this Mexican dude long hair came and start pick up out food and really rude I was with my family and avoid problems ,respect is first specialty when you having a good time ,go to other pizza place stay way 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Not handicapped friendly entrance. Generous amount of toppings, but quality is low. I asked for bbq chicken topping, got sliced lunch meat smothered with bbq sauce on the entire pizza, cheap sauce. Cheap paper plates ripped through while cutting the pizza, the cheaper napkins ripped out of the dispenser. No serving spatula for the pizza. Order at the counter, pick up from the counter. Decor is ghastly orange green, and white, and while touted as a sports pizza place, the big screen TV was off. Really disappointed with this place, more so with the pizza.

Absolutely disgraceful Have been told they would help our school are elementary school and denied us. Owner Never shows up.
