Convenient stop for a wholesome lunch with veggie patty option. The staff were kind and helpful..

Visited today, 12/6/20 @ 12:30. Apologize I didn’t get the name of the woman preparing our food but the facility was clean and staff were wearing masks. Great sandwich. Fresh food. The most courteous staff and worth mentioning all observing the covid 19 guidelines. Spacing/masks/cleanliness. Tish was the person at the cash register. Super kind. Later in day I thought I’d possibly left behind my debit card. She couldn’t have been more responsive when I called to inquire. Offered to check her video immediately to see if she could tell if it was handed back to me. We had stopped across the highway at a small cafe prior to noticing the subway. Sure glad I left as the cafe staff, food preparer and customers did not wear masks - not one. Made me uneasy so I left quickly w/o ordering anything. Prefer to patronize a facility where the customer safety guidelines are honored.

Subway always does takeout I mean you go in and make your order and you leave with your sandwich or you can eat there if they have tables. I'm not sure if they deliver that's something you would have to ask them because they are inside the Chevron grocery mart. Their food is always good. And the employees are very pleasant friendly gracious and funny and we know them if you go there often enough you get to know them because you're a regular so if you're in Lakehead stop by the Chevron gas station and that is where the subway is located and enjoy 😘😃👍

We drove up here to purchase a vehicle, all the way from the Bay Area. Successfully accomplished, we drove back the next day, and one of our stops was this wonderful Subway/ Mini Mart place. Extremely clean and organized as it was displayed, it offered a variety of snack options in addition to Subways full meal choices, drinks, batteries, flashlights, and other road trip necessities as well of course, hot coffee, cold sodas, something for everyone's sweet tooth and much much more! The employees where very friendly, and even went out of their way to help me find an item. Super clean bathrooms, freshly mopped floors, and an overall importance for cleanliness was apparent. A wonderfull pit stop for travellers at any time of the day. Plenty of parking and a gas station conveniently adjacent. Surrounded by an amazing forest, easy to get back to freeway, this made it a very pleasant and rejuvenating lunch break for us. All thumbs up, plus five star experience!!! And we have seen plenty of mediocre rest stops!

No cap, Zach is the best sandwich maker I've ever come across. Everything I asked for was spread out proper. He answered all my questions and made sure I knew what I was getting when I asked for their mystery sauces. Also held the conversation the entire time he was making my sandwich while still getting everything right. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! 🙏

Pretty good Subway. I got a lot of bacon on my BLT with double meat. No skimping. My son had a breakfast sandwich. All good. The staff was freindly. Bathrooms were kind of dirty and the gas was more expensive than nearby stations.

So basically it's a subway within a gas station and I didn't know it. I had a ham and cheese footlong that was so tasty and perfectly made I can't wait just to drive 20 mi to get one again The girl was very pleasant congenial and exceptional employee give her a pat on the back she was short and young that's all I remember My eyes were on the ham ❤️💚

Awesome that there is a choice for fresh food in Lakehead! Open all year and right off the freeway. Staff do a great job. Love the wraps. Clean tidy location inside Chevron.

A great place for a break. lakehead @ lake shasta located in Chevron on the north bound side of I-5 friendly staff and good sandwiches, as with any place.11am-1pm seems to be the busy time and a line can form. Most other times it's very quick.

Really awful service here unfortunately. Flies were everywhere and the staff members were making sandwiches unevenly. My party ordered wraps and our wraps had barely any toppings - they were so small that once wrapped the sandwich artist asked if we even wanted them cut. The customers ahead of us meanwhile, that got regular sandwiches, had so many toppings the staff member was struggling to close the sandwich. It was overall very disappointing. We understand being busy and being down a staff member, but my party was very polite even with the delays and just wanted to have wraps with toppings that are actually worth $7 per wrap. Also, our wraps were very salty.
