This place is great. It's strange, but you feel healthier as soon as you walk in the door. The decor is light and airy and drinks are awesome.

I always get celery juice here. Always good. Worth it for to have my juice. I have became a regular here as soon as they open. She actually brought out my juice to me, I was parked in the lot waiting for them to open. That is so sweet and kind.

What a gem this place is! The sandwich menu was a little confusing but there was a live person outside in the drive thru taking orders with an iPad. With his recommendations I built a wrap that was so SOO amazingly good! And the juice combinations are thoughtful and the flavors really work together. It's not cheap, but neither is buying that many fruits and vegetables.

Delish. Just soo many fresh veggies and fruits! They're super nice and the dining room is just so nice with all of the windows allowing natural light to flow in. Best juice. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

I was having a pretty rough week, and just needed a juice, as one does. The Hulk 24oz to be precise. Never fails. Anyway, I roll up to the window and a happy frosted tips fella took my order, hollering at the "hoodlums" to make it snappy. They got me a very nice punch card and then tried to convince me that I really ordered a 4oz juice, but had another 20oz cup hiding for me in the wings. Anyway, everyone was so very kind and the laughter and shenanigans' of Redding's local juicers was really such an unexpected highlight, and completely changed my outlook for the rest of the day. These young whipper snappers rock, and they should 100000% have your business.

Roots Juice Bar is my favorite lunch spot! Coming from the bar area the prices are incredibly reasonable. The employees are always very nice and helpful. Their lunches are very customizable and your food/juice comes out quick!

Great wraps, can combine different sauces. Juices are top notch, you can order fresh or pick up premade cold pressed. My favorite is the Morning Dew, and its a little sour. The Acai bowls are great anytime as well as the Apple nachos!

There isn’t really a place in Redding that has a drive-thru spot to grab a healthy bite while you are on the go, so my favorite location to grab something is at Roots on Pine because it’s quick, & easy. Whether you are under the weather and just need a quick ginger shot or you need something more filling like a wrap or breakfast sandwich, Roots definitely can leave you feeling great & full at the same time. If you have never swung by & don’t know where to start their friendly staff will help you figure out the best option for you. I have tried most of the juices, all of the ginger shots, and one of the wraps they all are incredible! Once you have freshness like that you can't go back to "fast food" lol there is nothing faster and more delicious than whole foods. I go as often as possible.

Great place to get super healthy juice! They have a couple locations in Redding and are owned by a younger local couple. The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun and the employees are helpful and happy. A fun perk is the punch cards to earn free juice!

I’m pleased to have another business in Redding that provides 100% organic, healthy foods!!! Food wise: The juices are amazing, sometimes it’s hard to find juice bars with good ratios taste wise with green juices, but Roots has it down. Also, the wraps and bowls are SO GOOD. I’ve been getting a wrap or bowl every single day since this location has opened! Service wise: Always friendly staff having fun. The environment is welcoming and fun yet also provides a place to study or hangout with friends for lunch. Roots does they’re best to be quick and personable with customers. My first time in Redding and this place caught my attention. The atmosphere is very chill and the outside seating area is useful! I got an Acai bowl with Strawberries, Hemp seeds and honey!!!! The bestttt, ohhh and the guy who helped me was super nice. Overall great place for good breakfast ❤️👍

Great place! The employees (Emma and Tyler are two of the employees I remember) are very helpful and friendly. The juices and smoothies that they make are natural, not full of artificial sugar like other juice bars. I will definitely be going back soon!

I just got the broccoli salad and it was so much better than I expected. I like broccoli salad, but it usually has a creamy sauce. I wasn't sure what to think about EVOO in its place. Yep. Better. I've had their "filthy" shot twice and have felt like it really did improve my health. Both time I had that tell-tail tickle right as I'm getting sick and it knocked it right out. I had a green juice I liked, and I just drank the Beets & Treats and it was delicious! I can't wait to go through and try a wrap!

He Took initiative with my wrap when I had mentioned that last time it wasn't made right, he ensured he would make it himself and make sure it was thoroughly cut in half. I absolutely love roots! BUT today I bought two Popeye drinks that I will not be able to drink. Update Monday June 9th: I have been given a full refund and I believe they will talk with their staff and fix the problem. I will be going to get my drinks today because I crave the Popeye. They will not lose my business, they are really good drinks and their food is good too. Sunday June 8th at 6pm There were 2 young guys with brown wavy hair working. The one who took my order had no customer service skills, whatever moving on. The one making my drink, scratched his scalp through his long wavy hair then immediately grabbed my bananas and put them in and my ice cubes with those same hands. Then, he went to shake the blender and the top and some ingredients fell to the ground, he picked up the lid off the ground put it on the blender and then pored my drinks and also had no Customer service when delivering to me. His carelessness made me question exact how many unsanitary things made it into my drinks…. So I wasted $16 today. Please fix this. I love your drinks! I don’t feel it’s my job to tell them to wash their hands and remake my drink. I am a manager and don’t feel like managing other organizations employees.

Food was great juices were fire. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because after running up a 50$ bill for 2 people on almost nothing the girl flips the iPad over an says “here you can leave a tip” like we don’t already know an the lowest tip you can hit is 15% or no tip so my girlfriend felt pressured into hitting the 15%. The lowest option should not be that high an you should never tell someone about leaving a tip as someone that’s worked in hospitality that just annoyed me. The business overall was great it’s the worker that left a bad taste. Will return, but won’t tip again.

I like Roots, I choose to feed my body verses junk food like ice cream on these very hot days you just want something fruity good and refreshing! a healthy alternative is awesome! Prices are a little high for me but I still go when I can.

Waayyyyy over priced for a cup of juice. Wasn't impressed at all, won't be going back. I will say that its nice that a place like this opened in Redding for people who like this sort of eating. It just sucks that to eat "healthy" it costs so much to do so.

My smoothies and açaí bowl were very delicious! That’s five star definitely. But I wish you guys wearing gloves or face masks when preparing my raw food. After this place I decided no more tips ever, before I get my service first.

Should check all items before sending it out for delivery

If you want to pay $11 for 24oz of water with a little bit of juice then this is the place for you! Green Machine was practically clear through the straw and tasted mostly like lemon. V7 had a nice heat but was also very watery and light orange! Declined ice for both our juices thinking we wanted all juice, but they were watered down anyhow. Irritating!! Compare the rich color of their juice on the website to the watery product you actually get. It’s a dramatic difference. We’ve had the bowls and enjoyed them tremendously, but the “juices” are just not worth it at all. 4 or 5 stars for the bowls and 0-1 stars for the watery juice. It didn’t used to be like this but as of 9/20/21 that is the new standard apparently. It did motivate us to start making our own juice again at least. We won’t be back.

I stopped here on my 3 hour drive to Redding because I was starving and my blood sugar was dropping. I ordered an acai bowl and it was the smallest acai bowl (smoothie part wise) that I've ever had. The actually acai smoothie was no more than 1 cup. The rest of the bowl almost to the rim was fruit (strawberries, bananas, blueberries). They pre made the acai bowl part and froze it for prep I suppose, so it wasnt even fresh. That is where they lost me. I've never ordered an acai bowl and been given a previously made and frozen one with fresh toppings on top. It was so frozen solid that I couldn't eat it for about an hour and that was upsetting since I was severely hungry. I gave 2 stars since it did taste good once I could actually eat it. But it was way to small for $8. I usually pay $10 for one that is 3 times larger. Not worth it.

Every morning I go there. Usually great staff this afternoon I ordered a veggie wrap fresh and once again it was grilled. No harm no foul. I had already waited in line for 15 minutes with several car lined up behind me. To the point ok one vehicle was honking their horn. The yong lady at the window argued with me regarding my order and I told her that I didn't have time for her to remake it just refund me instead. She told me to stop yelling and being rude when I was not being rude at all. Then she told me to go and leave waving her hand at me as if I was bothering her. I told her am not leaving till I get a receipt . She just slammed the window slider so hard that it almost broke it bounced it's self back open from the impact of how hard she slammed it in my face yelling the am rude. I asked for the manger her not knowing what the situation was at all. Opens the window slider completely opened and says I have no right to be yelling at a 17 year old little girl. At that point I am not happy of how I am being treated and I asked for both of their names and they absolutely refused and the manger slammed the slider and completely ignored me for about 3 minutes. And throws my receipt at me. I will be visiting them directly requesting to talk to the owners

I just got home from taking my grandmother and my son through the ROOTS drive thru in pine street in downtown redding. I have recommended this restaurant in the past to everyone. I order the same drink everytime which is ,"the hulk" size 12oz and I ordered 3 of them. The first thing was the young girl who took my card told me the total was $23.07 and took my card. She did not give me a receipt back but instead gave me a cup filled to the top with ice and barely any juice. They have never prepared them with ice before, it is usually just juice. So I asked the girl kindly if I could have them without ice as I had never received them made like that. The girl took the 3 drinks back and promptly changed THE SIZE I ordered to a small 8 0z and I was so upset but too scared to send it back again. So I received 3 small 9 0z after I payed for 3 mediums and it gets worse.... as I left merging onto the freeway I tried a sip, it was almost pure cold water with barely a hint of juice. That girl changed the size I payed for and just filled it up with cold water. Again I've been ordering these forever and it tasted nothing like normal, my 10 year old son even noticed right away that it was just water! I will not be back at this point and discourage anyone else unless something changes
