Kia was super nice, she explained the most popular drinks and helped us choose by our preferences. We waited a long line but in the end it was worth it because of her kind service. The drinks were also delicious, and a reasonable price.
This is such a cute and fun place. I assumed it's just looks and I was so wrong. Their latte tastes really good. I got their la la land latte, I believe they add their own special syrup to that latte. It was delicious- had a cookie butter kinda taste. The yellow decor, happy faces really does make you feel like you're in la la land. Really enjoyed grabbing coffee here. It's more of an experience to visit this place and not to just have coffee.
tried the Keith Lee Matcha and it was amazing, 10/10 and totally lived up to the hype. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink while walking around The Grove. Definitely a 5-star experience for the matcha alone
At La La Land Coffee in Los Angeles, I ventured beyond the usual and tried their matcha offering. The result? A delightful fusion of creamy goodness and earthy flavor that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of this Hollywood hotspot. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or a matcha enthusiast, La La Land Coffee offers a unique and satisfying experience for all tastes.
The bakery items are delicious, especially the sourdough and croissants. Even without the avocado paste, the bread itself would have been tasty. I was a bit disappointed with the matcha latte. I had high expectations, but it turned out to be too watery, and ordering it iced might have been a mistake. The cafe's yellow-themed decor is beautiful and perfect for taking photos. Additionally, the staff are very friendly.
Shoutout to the amazing baristas!!! Visited on 12/22 in the afternoon and y'all were working hard! I had expected the wait time to be longer than usual because I knew what I was walking into. It's a popular cafe in THE GROVE people!!!! Was deeply saddened when I saw customers coming up to the employees and kept impatiently asking about their drinks and later demanded for them to be made quickly. Was messed up that people could see alot of tickets commin out and many people acted as if they were the most important person in the room. Keep at it baristas!! Don't let people ruin your day!!! You Ate, you served, you devoured but left no crumbs.
LOVE this place I have already come back twice and plan to come back much more in the future. I had the cookies and dream coffee and loved it. I also tried the French toast one which was pretty good. Overall the atmosphere and vibes are electric and the staff are so kind even with the constant crowds. There’s usually a line so be ready for that
I ordered a chai latte with oatmilk and both the presentation and taste were very good. My husband had an americano, although it was a bit light for his taste, overall a great experience. Enjoyed the atmosphere and everyone was very friendly, happy and KIND. Very cute merchandise with awesome messages. Hope to see LaLaLand on the northeast soon! 💛
I loved the look and image of this place and if you come early enough, you don't have to stay in line. The avocado toast was a bit too plain but the drinks were amazing!!
Great atmosphere and plenty of seating, the coffee is great and we ordered a banana bread latte. Sweet and strong.
Amazing one of a kind drinks like La La Latte, Upsidedown Latte, Strawberry Fields, Lavender Bloom, The Perfect Latte, French Toast Latte. One of a kind drinks… super popular and Super long queues.
La La Land at The Grove is the cutest little coffee spot—bright, cheerful, and full of good vibes. The coffee and matcha are absolutely delicious, and everything feels thoughtfully crafted. The avocado toasts hit the spot if you are looking for a quick bite. It’s a perfect place to grab a pick-me-up while shopping or strolling around the mall. The line can get a bit long, especially on weekends, but it’s totally worth the wait. Such a charming spot with great drinks and a fun, feel-good atmosphere!
Omg the cutest and happy feeling cafe ! Delicious pain au chocolat. Coffee good too .
Order online! Don’t wait in the ridiculously long line. We did get in line at first and when I pulled up their site, saw that you can mobile order online. So much faster and easier. I got the milk and honey latte (hot) and the cookies n’ dream latte (iced). My friend got the lavender bloom matcha latte (iced). We both enjoyed our drinks. I would absolutely get the same drinks again or try other ones. Service wise, can’t say much since we left the line. But our coffees were ready timely after ordering online and everyone working seemed nice! Btw, they have the cutest yellow heart straws. Parking - you’re at the Grove or Original Farmers Market. So you had to park somewhere at those 2 locations and walked over to the store.
Great place to relax inside and outside side. The inside seating is super comfortable. The service was super fast on their app. They did make one error on one drink but corrected it very quickly. There are so many different types of drinks to choose from and pastries. This place seems to be for adults. I didn't notice children drinks. This is a great place to visit and enjoy a quality beverage.
I had the most wonderful experience at La La Land Café! From the moment I walked in, the bright, cheerful atmosphere immediately lifted my mood. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming—they truly make you feel at home. The coffee is exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully crafted. I also loved their pastries and small bites, all fresh and delicious. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done while enjoying great drinks. La La Land Café has such a positive energy, and every visit feels like a treat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great coffee, great service, and a cozy, uplifting vibe!
Such a cute coffee shop. Love the interior design & aesthetic. Friendly staff. Convenient location.
It was very nice, the staff was also nice, and the matcha was also good. The line was very long so definitely set out some time in order to get this matcha. It was a normal price of matcha around 6.50 - 7 dollars. The line was very long but we went on a Saturday afternoon. Recommend the banana matcha and anything else! The straws are very strong.

Tired the matcha 2 squared and it was the perfect blend, and lightly sweet which was a good level. Would definitely try again, definitely meets the hype!

I must say, the banana matcha is one of my absolute favorites! The creamy banana flavor blended perfectly with the earthy notes of the matcha, creating a refreshing drink. What made the experience even better was the staff; they were incredibly polite and kind, making me feel welcomed and valued. Their warm service truly enhanced my visit, and l highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a delicious beverage and pleasant atmosphere.
JR at La La Land Café on January 22 around 2:55 PM made my birthday experience truly unforgettable. When he called out our drinks, he literally cheered for me and my friends, which instantly made the moment so fun and special. It set the tone for our entire visit and made us feel celebrated and welcomed. On top of that, the drinks he made were phenomenal!! everything tasted amazing and was crafted with so much care. JR was incredibly friendly, kind, and full of positive energy. He went above and beyond what you’d expect, and it showed how much pride he takes in his work. Employees like JR are the reason customers keep coming back. His attitude, customer connection, made us lifelong supporters of the brand. Definitely made a core memory. Please recognize him for the incredible job he’s doing. He is truly an asset to your team.

I went there this weekend to try their drink. It’s a beautiful store located in the Grove mall. They have wide range of drinks. I ordered the lavender bloom latte. The only reason I give them 4 is because I could not really taste the lavender in the drink. I could taste the other ingredients but not the lavender. Their prices are a bit higher than comparable speciality coffee shops.
The coffee we had was absolutely delicious. The packaging was super cute—a reusable plastic cup, and in this case, a special edition in collaboration with Disney. The café itself is gorgeous, almost like a boutique, with seating both indoors and outside. It’s located inside The Grove, so the setting is lovely. Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing—the waitress seemed distracted and missed a few things. We also had to wait quite a while, both at the counter and to receive our drink and croissant.
The café has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, but unfortunately my coffee was far too sweet—even though I specifically requested no syrup pumps.
The store interior is neat with a white and yellow theme. It is a busy store, but it is clean, and the staff provide friendly service. We ordered two coffee lattes and two matcha teas. The matcha teas were a mix of lavender and strawberry. They looked pretty when they were first made, but when the two flavors were mixed, the matcha tea flavor was weaker and the lavender flavor was not as good as it should have been, so we were a little disappointed.
Service was good (nice people), a little slow given the time of day (early & no one there) and I only ordered and iced coffee which took the longest. Daughters liked the place itself, 50% liked their beverages.
I have only had dirty matcha at this location. The flavor is very nice. Staff is not very welcoming, but they are composed. The ambience is truly what makes this place. The interior has a clean backdrop which is perfect for photos. The outdoor seating is my favorite. I love to sit in the sun, sip on matcha, and admire the fashion choices of people walking by. It's perfect if you're there to have a gentle experience and settle into the moment of beauty.

Cute little cafe with a nice aesthetic. Love the coffee cups, and the interior and the patio outside are super cute. The coffee was okay, a little bit overpriced for what it was. And the toast was definitely overpriced for what it was as well. I personally didn’t like the toast, the bananas went really well the almond butter but the blueberries and almond butter together weren’t a good mix.
The vibe of the cafe was so nice! All the decorations were really good for pictures. The drink I got was just a regular matcha latte with oat milk. It was a bit bland, so I didn't enjoy it too much. But there is a wide selection of drinks. If you want to go for photos, it is definitely worth it.
Big fan of their drinks but one incredibly rude employee. Not sure name but he had such an attitude and said snarky stuff. Big afro. I ordered two of the same drink on uber app and only got one. After waiting, I asked multiple employees because i was confused and no one really listened to me and brushed it off. Then this big afro dude said something really snarky. I t
I’ve heard so much about this café and I was really giving into the hype wanting to come here. I’ve been here four times and tried different coffees and food items since I love sitting and working from a cute Cafe on a daily basis, and I thought maybe my personal experience wasn’t good so I should go back and give it another chance which is why I went thrice. Love the decor and the ambience, not the service though, the staff is very rude and Makes you feel very uncomfortable even when they get your order wrong, the first time I went my coffee was loaded with ice despite asking for no ice, second time they gave me a small when I ordered a large, third time the whole order was wrong- the food and coffees are so average, tried the avocado toast, it was kinda nuce, however the almond croissant and muffins didn’t taste fresh even in the afternoon. My friend got an Americano and called it okayish. Second time my other friend got a matcha and liked it.
I really don't understand the hype about this place. It's just a coffee shop that sells the same type of drinks you'd find in most other coffee shops. It's not terrible. It's not great. It's just average.

I have been dying, literally dying, to go here. I saw many aesthetically pleasing videos that made me want to go; may I even say ravenous. My expectations were up to the sky when the day came to finally go to this beautiful coffee shop, and I was bursting with excitement. I was speed walking to the store, and nothing could get in my way, not even the silently judging pedestrians. As I got in line, I was taken aback by the beauty of the store I ordered my drink and waited. The drink came out shockingly fast, which should have been my first red flag. I took a sip and was utterly repulsed by the flavors in my mouth; I couldn't believe it. It felt like when you see someone wear a mask and they look like a decent person, and then they take it off, and it's pure disappointment. It tastes like a coffee my mom makes for herself in the morning: no love, lifeless, and without any inspiration. No wonder it came out in like three seconds. I will never be influenced by people who don't truly know what coffee should taste like.
This is not the first time that I’m experiencing this terrible service . I was there sharp at 9 and was a huge waiting with only 2 people in front of us . Finally we order our hot brew coffee . Waiting another 15 minutes. They say we are making a new brew one . And we wait . And than after another 5 minutes they say they can’t provide the regular brew one . If we want we can get Americano instead. We get our Americano by no other option and tastes like a water . Very disappointing
An overhyped coffee shop that didn’t live up to expectations. The matcha tasted like warmed-up milk and was disappointing, while the latte was just okay. The decor is nice, but the service was average. Overall, it’s not a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for a genuinely tasty drink
Went in yesterday as a first time customer and based on all the hype I’ve seen and heard I was excited to finally try their drinks. Their location was very clean , they have 2 couches inside and many tables outside. They had about 3 people behind the counter so as I walked in and could clearly see them I said hello … not one person greeted me. Since no one else was in line I stood at the counter reviewing their menu. The clerk was literally standing right in front of me waiting for me to order and not once offered any feedback . I moved closer and said hello again and all the clerk said was what can I get you with an attitude , I literally wanted to walk out but was trying to be the bigger person. I ordered and even tipped 22% on 1 drink and didn’t even get a thank you instead I got silence. I tipped because again I’m in customer service and when a service is provided that’s what you do and was hoping whoever made my drink would do better with service. They called my name I said thank you and got nothing back from the two standing behind the counter …. Now the drink was good ! I had the Spencer Pratt Banana Matcha- very tasty. I have been in dust service for 21 years so I do expect anyone in customer service to have a welcoming attitude and if you can’t at the least provide a greeting you’re obviously in the wrong industry. I blame management here because these are children working here … they are all extremely young and of course have either no experience or very little and probably just want their check. I will never return to this location
A beautiful place but very unpleasant experience. I have to wait at the counter for more than 5 minutes to place my order while ALL the stuff were laughing., making all drama. When basically all other customers got their drinks, they finally let me place my order. Before that, they just ignored me. And I waited around 8 minutes for my drink, not that good. Careful, they will ask you to go out 5 minutes before the store close.
The place is nice , but the service, horrible , extremely disorganized, they called names like there was just one of each that exist. Didn’t even get a receipt. When i finally got the drinks , I was disappointed, water down , and it took for ever for the food . Honestly wouldn’t come back again.

La La Land at The Grove was disappointing. Given the location, I expected it to be more organized and well maintained, but the café was dirty inside. The line situation was frustrating, people would save spots for friends, and then multiple people would suddenly cut in near the front. Customer service was mediocre and felt rushed, like they were just trying to move the line along. Even after waiting a long time to order, there was still an additional wait for drinks. The drink sizes also depend on what you order, which wasn’t clearly explained. We tried the strawberry cloud matcha and banana cloud matcha. They were fine, but nothing special and definitely not worth the hype. Overall, it didn’t live up to expectations.
I had two gift cards each worth $10 that I wanted to use. I am unsure what is the hype of the store but the line is over 30 mins long and the drinks weren’t good at all. I didn’t want to wait in line as I felt the service was really short and not very pleasant! So I got the lala land chai and the French toast based on the recommendation which wasn’t great at all! My total was 14.85 and so I still had $5 at least in the gift card. I didn’t think I was gonna just the gift card so I told the barista to use it for my friend. I left the line and went to wait to get my drinks. So one gift card was empty and the other had $5. He didn’t use it for her. It was nowhere to be found! And so I went back up the barista and asked for my gift card and it was nowhere to be found. I asked to check the transaction and the gift card balance as I had just ordered and he said he can’t without the physical card! I mean I just ordered and I gave both gift cards. I have the receipts that show the total of how much is left.so waste your time in line, get awful drinks and never get your gift card back. Great first experience! Never again
