Recensioni di Fritzi Coop Los Angeles
I love a good crispy chicken sandwich and Fritzi Coop honestly has one of the best in town! Located right in the heart of the grove farmers market, it’s a great spot to stop after shopping around the mall. The chicken is thick and extra crispy with delicious sauce. A simple excellently done staple in the grove. Love it and will definitely be back again soon!
Classic Sandwich / fried chicken, pimento cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mild spice - 5 stars! Fritzi Coop is tucked in a corner of the Original LA Farmer's Market and it is easy to miss with all the wonderful food stalls that are available. But if you are hankering for fried chicken, they are worth the stop. I had their classic fried chicken sandwich. I went with mild spice because I was seeking flavor more than heat. It is a nice blend of seasonings and had a crispy, fresh piece of chicken to go with it. One thing I love about the chicken sandwiches like this one are that they are so big you don't need a side to go with it. This one sandwich was more than enough to fill me up. I know not everyone takes the time to go to the Farmer's Market. It is a bit of a tourist place. But locals should also stop by here from time to time. They are probably one of LA's first food hall before food halls were ever a thing and they continue to great food options.
One of the best hot chicken sandwiches I've had. Went over a month ago. So damn good, and actually spicy with great flavor. Got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich in hot, the piece of chicken was a good size and the coleslaw inside and pickles went really well with it & the bun was good too. The roasted corn was ok, think it would've tasted better hot not cold. Washed it all down with a Mexican coke. It's located inside the farmers market and is a bit pricey but for me it was worth it. Will definitely get it again next time I'm there
I freaking love this place! I'm from Minnesota and I have been wanting to have Tennessee breaded chicken in the buttermilk for a while. I've seen it advertised and it looks so good. I decided to order this off their menu and I was ecstatic! It was flavorful. Lightly breaded. And tender juicy white breast chicken. They had three versions of hot get the mild one. It's spicy enough. Hot and hotter and hottest. I can't wait to have one of these again A+
the food is literally so good here!! the chicken is so high quality and so fresh. The workers have such a positive attitude and always give a smile. Definitely my favorite place in the farmers market!!
Very good customer service Daniela R served us very well and was very friendly and the food was good
The food was amazing!!! And the service was amazing!!! They were so kind and the chicken tenders tasted so good!!!
This is one of the best chicken places I've eaten at in my life. Not sure what it is, but it's delicious juicy and flavorful. I would highly recommend this place at the Farmers Market in Los Angeles.

The best chicken I have ever had in my life. The best service out there and the kindest and delicious food one can try. Come get this now it is the fiiiireeeee. This food is a must fooddd evr! NO BETTER CHICKEN THEN FRITZI COOP!!!!
I wanted to try something different here today at the Farmer's Market and decided here. I was torn on which flavor and got the Fritzi Hot Tenders combo. Chicken was hot and fresh. While I got just the hot, there was heat but not much flavor. I think it is because I am usually awake buffalo chicken chicken person. The counter person (Daniela R) was very friendly and helpful. I got the fresh lemonade which was very good.
Summary: Very fresh Classic chicken sandwich, but with little flavor at a great price. Review: My goal to find the best chicken sandwich brought me over to Fritzi Coop one day on my stroll through the Farmer's Market. As I approached the food spot, I was a little intimidated by the prices as it was almost $10+ for the sandwich itself. The workers were pleasant and explained the different options that others tend to get. As someone who cannot handle spice, I opted to go with their Classic chicken sandwich pictured below. This chicken sandwich was bigger than most chicken sandwiches from other restaurants, yet it was still pricier than what it is worth in my opinion. Assuming because it's from the Farmer's Market, the sandwich was very fresh. You can taste the freshness of the chicken, in addition to the vegetables and bread that come along with it. The texture of the sandwich was also nice, with the right amount of crisp and juiciness. However, the sandwich lacked substantial flavor. It felt very bland and/or unseasoned. You can argue that the flavor is to come with the sauces (you have to pay extra for) or it was the lack of spice, but the Classic chicken sandwich itself did not have outstanding flavor. Overall, I'd say you're paying the relatively high price for the freshness of the chicken sandwich, but the prices do not positively reflect the size or flavor of the sandwich even though it was relatively bigger than most sandwiches.

Got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Spice level was probably a 2 😔 sandwich was good tho but also expensive! $18 sandwich and $25 combo😵💫
Pretty basic chicken restaurant in the Farmers Market attached to The Grove. Generous portions but also expensive for what you're getting. We were not a fan of the (what we think) is a pimento cheese sauce or the sweet pickles on the sandwich. Tater tots were perfectly done, not overly fried hard as some places do. The stall has a bit of a fast food feeling. Would suggest getting the more affordable smaller sandwich to give a try while you save money.
Lots of food at this farmers market! Wanted a sandwich and didn’t want to wait in a long line so decided to try it out. There are 3 sandwich options spicy, stinger, classic. I decided to try the stinger since it was different. It’s a sour/spicy sauce. The chicken is juicy and you can add curly fries! The fries weren’t hot when we got it so I was a bit disappointed. This combo was $20. Its a bit pricey but you’re in LA.. and it’s a farmers market sooo that’s a bit expected. It’s also a bit crowded and hard to find seating in the same area but there are seating a bit further from this spot and it’s pretty open. I also saw a 2nd floor seating too! Do walk around for seats!
I was tempted to try this after seeing other tables having it. The chicken patty is huge, probably another 50% the size of the buns itself. I chose the original fried chicken, which is slightly disappointing. Lacked seasoning, and the fried batter isn't crispy at all. Could have chose the spicy ones and will probably give a bit more zest. There isn't much queue or waiting time when I was there.

Bought 4 chicken tenders for $14, so the spot is definitely expensive. The staff is really nice, but the food just doesn’t match up to the expectation. It lacks flavour, chicken isn’t too juicy and the batter has too much baking soda which is evident from the instant bloating one gets upon eating this chicken. I think this is less of the chef’s fault and more of the restaurant owner’s responsibility to change the taste of the chicken, the spice rubs and the formula of the batter, because it seems like multiple people have the same review!
Offers generous portion sizes, which is great if you’re really hungry, but overall, I felt it was a bit overpriced—likely due to the trendy area it's in. The fried chicken was decent but not particularly memorable for the cost. I ordered a hot sandwich from Fritzi Coop, but unfortunately, it was served cold, which was disappointing. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience that didn’t meet expectations.
I was disappointed as ive been looking forward to lunch at Fritzi. Ordered the Junior sandwich combo because all the other options looked gigantic. The highlight was the very good fresh lemonade and the friendly patient cashier. The lowlights were everything else: sandwich was still chunky big (all white meat so not much chicken flavor); breading was not very flavoful; swiss cheese was not the right vibe; I guess the dressing was pimento cheese- couldn't tell; side sauces were okay. The coleslaw looked so good but tasted Iike the refrigerator instead of the vegetables. And it cost $30! Sat upstairs in the Farmers Market. What a great spot! That I should do more often.
All for show. Chicken over fried and extremely thick breading, oily and fried in oil that has not been change for long time. It does looks great but taste so blend and salty. I ordered classic and Fritz combo. Dry, taste blank, salty breading. So disappointed. Not worth the price. Popeyes chicken sandwich is way better than this.

Looks great.... Tastes not so great. My eyes deceived me. The chicken sandwich looked to be full of flavor and if it wasn't for the sweet pickles it would have had ZERO taste. I'm not sure how you can have so many things on a sandwich and the flavor simply disappear. Waste of time, money and calories. Stick with Popeyes, Chick Fil A even... Hell, stick with KFC.

The sandwich, the original recommended by the cashier was so so it was just a huge waste of money. Dry, crumbly bun, dried could grilled chicken, the spicy sauce was good but not good enough to make me eat their sandwich. I got a (trejo's)taco instead

Over priced chicken sandwich is okay. The cashier's attitude is trash. Ordered tatter tots with the sandwich and he gives me curly fries and insisted it was curly fries. The guy obviously didn't want to work and it showed from the moment I ordered the food. A good chicken sandwich is not worth the price and attitude. Forget this place, go for the Brazilian bbq
Not much was open without a long line at the grove, and the Fritz Coop seemed to have delicious looking sandwiches displayed. For what it is, it's wildly overpriced. You would assume hey, its the grove, it must be worth it. For a single classic sandwich, you're gonna be run around 19 dollars. Again, looks good but taste wise its reminiscent of frozen chicken patties you buy from costco. Wasn't fully warm, the flavor is pretty much nonexistent and the sauce only serves as some slight escape from what you spent money on- until it falls apart. Avoid
