Masa is my favorite pizza. I live on the other side of town and every time I am in the area I get it and bring it home. The beautiful part about the deep dish pizza is that it stays good unrefrigerated for a long time and makes for delicious leftovers. The Cuban bread is absolutely worth the extra carbs. They are always super generous with my family and make sure we are well taken care of! The Montego salad is also a favor of ours.

Hospitality first! We have been received, entertained, and served in the best way from when we arrive til we left. Yes, this is the kind of restaurant in what they sing you the happy birthday so loud that you get feel you are the only and most special person in the world. The pizza is made to order and it does take 40 minutes as they told us when we order it. It’s fun, I personally liked it, but it is not a conventional pizza as anybody is used to. The cheese and jalapeño croquettes are delicious, and the Croissant bread pudding left me speechless! Absolutely loved this place, and one that I could never forget.

Literally one of my favorite spots. I've been coming here for years and the quality is always incredible! Staff is always friendly. Dinner time is usually packed, so I'd recommend calling ahead especially if you have a larger group (5+) due to the seating. If you've never been before, and are looking for a delicious dessert, try the bread pudding🥰

This charming and laid-back Italian eatery is adorned with an eclectic and delightfully comfortable bohemian decor, creating an inviting atmosphere. We chose this venue to celebrate a family birthday, and it did not disappoint. In anticipation of our gathering, we pre-ordered two large deep-dish pizzas to accommodate our party of nine. These pizzas were not only generously portioned but also exceptionally delicious. Our culinary adventure did not stop there. We indulged in a variety of appetizers, including mozzarella sticks, cheese balls, an antipasto salad, spaghetti with meatballs, and a hearty sandwich. Each dish was meticulously prepared, delivering a symphony of flavors that pleased every palate at the table. For dessert, we savored the delightful cannoli and the sumptuous bread pudding cake. Both desserts were exquisite, providing a perfect ending to an already remarkable meal. Every member of our group was thoroughly satisfied with the experience. Having dined at this establishment numerous times, we have consistently found it to be a source of culinary delight. It has never failed to meet our expectations. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try; you will undoubtedly be impressed.

Stopped by late and unfortunately last call for deep dish is about 30 minutes before closing so I wasn’t able to try the pizza. I got their bread pudding to go and it was amazing. It’s a bit expensive at $16 but I love bread pudding and this was a great one. Cozy indoor atmosphere with a bar and a few tables outside to dine at on a nice evening. Masa is one of those places where you can just taste the love in all of their food. Even in something as simple as their bread or a side salad. I need to come here more often.

Deep dish pizza was ginormous. One slice filled me up. Highly recommend. Bruschetta needed balsamic drizzle or balsamic vinegar. Bread pudding needed more cinnamon, my preference would have been a lemon drizzle or lemon curd with the bread pudding.

Great quality food! We had delicious mozzarella sticks and deep dish pizza 🍕 The only thing I’d recommend is better crust (like deep dish style crust) and for an upgrade on the quality of the pepperoni. Either way the food is still great - esp for pizza lovers!

My first time at this place while I was visiting the LA. There was some confusion w.r.t. the reservation as we entered the venue. While ordering food, we requested to replace Marinara w/ Alfredo sauce. They did not accommodate the request (I didn't get why). The garlic bread and thin crust pizza which we ended up ordering was decent. Service could have been little better. Our server was not doing his job right, IMO. The place was little noisy too (may be because it was Sunday evening and slightly busier hour). Anyways, they have street parking which at times could get difficult to find. To summarize, it was not so great of an experience overall.

The atmosphere was wonderful! The girl who took us to our table was kind, nice, and professional. Our waiter was NOT great. I had to flag him down to buy another drink because he wasn't checking up on us while we waited for the deep dish pizza. Then, he seemed annoyed that he had to bring us another drink. At the end, he asked us if we liked the pizza. I told him that the big, flat, pressed down, sausage didn't taste good. He replied, "to each it's own" with an attitude. We ordered the 'Lots of Meat' (Masa's Secret Recipe Sweet Italian Sausage ) Chicago style pizza. The sausage is not tasty; it has a nasty taste. The items that you see on top of the pizza is not cheese, it's the flat , pressed labs of sausage. Lastly, the pizza didn't have much cheese. I think I would of had a better experience with a waiter that likes his job and if i had ordered a Chicago style peperroni pizza.

Honestly, I didn't like the service at all. The waiter was rude and impatient. As for the food, the sausage had a very unpleasant taste, and the dough also had a strong yeasty flavor that isn't for everyone. The lasagna should be called tomato soup with cheese; it's not lasagna at all. The chicken parmesan dish was the only redeeming feature; it was very delicious. The place is nice, but I honestly wouldn't go back.

Going to masa after a recent trip to Chicago was a mistake. Masa’s pizza falls short of a good deep disk. The sauce is runny and sausage was not good and lacked the volume of cheese thats expected. If possible go to Chicago and experience proper deep dish, masa was a one time visit. 1 small pizza and salad was over $55 no worth it, save it for airfare to Chicago.

Pizza did not taste like Chicago style. Worst thing is that the place smelled bad. Like mold or maybe dead cockroaches everywhere. I should've went down the road to Quarter Sheet pizza on Portia St. for better taste better price or just got a Gino's East deep dish pizza from Albertson's - that would've been better.
