From the woman helping me decide what to order (because I'd never been there) to the completion of my visit, it was excellent. Everyone was kind and welcoming. When I arrived back at my office and sat down to enjoy my sandwich I was in awe. I love food so almost anything is good to me but this Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich was top tier. I'd post a pic but I inhaled the sandwich before thinking of snapping one.

Firehouse Subs makes a really good sandwich — fresh stuff, generous portions, and the bread’s always on point. The folks behind the counter are usually friendly, which I appreciate. That said, the wait can be weirdly long even when there’s hardly anyone there. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. My bigger gripe is the cleanliness — tables and floors could use more attention. It’s not gross, just not “I want to linger here” clean. Still, if you want a tasty sub and don’t mind a possible wait, it’s worth it. Just maybe grab it to go if the dining area’s messy.

Firehouse subs...always good food, a ton of options and supporting firefightets. You are always greeted when you come in the door and thanked when you leave. Staff is always friendly and provides quick service. Great place to go for for a great sandwich or salad.

We've had some bad experience with the location on Milwaukee. Thought we'd try another location. Nope. I ordered the hook and ladder - no mayo, my wife ordered a turkey with and added black olives. She got her sandwich, no black olives because they put those on my sandwich. They also put mayo on mine, which I didn't want any. I'm just now sure about the young people that work these places. Don't they even look at the individual sandwich orders? I got my receipt and it was as I mention. The sandwich makers got them both wrong. Funny thing is this is exactly what the other location did multiple times. What the hell! I shouldn't have to check my order before I leave. Maybe I should go behind the counter and watch them make it so the get it right. I used to think fire l firehouse subs had the best subs, I don't think that anymore.

The store was completely unsanitary. The floors were sticky, bathrooms were disgusting, and the tables were full of food. I was going to eat in the restaurant, but took my food to go, and shouldn’t have even done that.

Overpriced place compared to the portion size. In Lubbock area, you always get a bigger portion with this price. Food quality was good, if not the best.

Seriously frustrating to go here. I've been a bunch of times because I love the food but I don't think I've ever been when they actually get my order right. Every single time it's got pickle when I say no pickle, so why ask? I'll get pickle juice on my sub regardless so I may as well suck it up. If I order online and someone picks it up I won't get my chips and drink so I gave up ordering that. Then when I order large I get medium... So now what, stop going all together? Yeah probably Update So I gave you another chance. Ordered and paid for a large. Again you screw me over. I'm so over firehouse. You never get the order right. Actually no exaggeration, not once have you.

Ok so I've heard about firehouse subs for awhile and I wanted to see what all the hype is about. So the service was great. I feel like the atmosphere needs more vibes and more theme. When I walked in with all the hype, I was expecting one of the best places in town. But if im completely honest. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak and im not kidding. This was literally the worst Philly I've had in my life. It had mayo instead of cream cheese, its supposed to have red, green bell peppers and onions. But it just had the green peppers, onion and mayo. This was sooooo bland. I mostly tasted mayo and gravy like meat. There was nothing in it that popped and made me go wow... I wish I could get my money back. I ordered 3 Phillies for my family for the first time and it rounded to $45. That's insane for something so bland. Sorry but yall need a new recipe for the Philly.

I usually like giving places the benefit of the doubt, but this Firehouse Subs location really missed the mark. The service was slow even though the store wasn’t busy, and the staff didn’t seem interested in helping or being friendly. My sandwich came out lukewarm, the bread was soggy, and it looked like it had been sitting for a while before being handed to me. For the price, I expected something much fresher and better put together. The restaurant itself wasn’t very clean either — a few tables hadn’t been wiped down, and the drink station was sticky. Definitely not the quality or care I used to expect from Firehouse. I won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.
