This place is ON IT. The service was beyond good with surprisingly shorter wait times for quality food. Atmosphere was also very friendly and engaging, became the highlight of the day. I personally enjoyed Kristen, many individuals walked by to check on us, but Kristen was very kind to us when we dined, making sure we were always on top of our needs.

My husband and I came to eat at OutBack Steakhouse and it was very good. Courtney our waitress was awesome and very kind. She checked on us constantly and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was pleasant and the manager even came to say hello. We can’t wait to visit this place again. Thank you again Courtney for making our visit a pleasant one.

I ordered Outback through DoorDash a couple of nights ago. The food was great. They forgot to give me my french fries or drink. I called to tell them this after they had already closed the kitchen since it was late at night. The manager (Sierra, I think), had them make my french fries and drink anyway. She then had the food delivered to my house with a gift card included. Sierra has to be one of the most amazing restaurant managers I have ever encountered. They made a mistake yet she went above and beyond to fix it.

You know I'm not going to lie, I haven't been to outback in about 15 years, I totally thought it was a dying franchise and not many people eat it anymore, untill one day I met my family up there and boy was I wrong. The atmosphere was awesome it was a full house, and the Steak I got with Brussel sprouts was cooked to perfection, one of the best steaks iv had, and the blooming onion brought back memories. The service well our particular waitress, she kept forgetting things but I won't mention her name because it was a busy night so I understand, other than that this is definitely a place being added back on the list.

Got the wife and filet mignon. Ordered to go and young lady was outside waiting with the food. Food was perfect and the atmosphere being our hotel was peaceful with friends playing in the background.

Great service with a smile! The prices are high, as are most restaurants that sell steak. My husband and I went after moving out of our house. We were exhausted and wanted something comfortable, and easy. We got that and more! That blooming onion and the Boomerang-Rita hit the spot! We did not want to leave. Our waitress even gave us each a koala duck. Put the cherry on top and made us feel special.

We ordered delivery. They use Doordash to deliver, but Doordash never responded. An hour later, we called Outback and talked to the manager on duty. She offered to re-make the food and have one of her own staff members deliver it to us. Less than 20 minutes later, the food was at our door. And let me tell you - it was the best we've ever had from Outback. Everything was hot, large portions, all items were correct, it was all outstanding. The food quality to cost is always amazing, definitely a 10/10. My mother filled up on the appetizer bread, so she freaked out the poor manager when he popped on by to check on us, but when we told him about the bread, he brought us a spare to take home. Edit (2025): we have come back, and i just had the seared rare ahi, and it might be the best thing ive had in a long time. Delicate and soft, tasting purely of the quality of the tuna, this is the dish for me.

Edit.... they were amazing after we had such a bad experience! They completely made up for it! It has been a year since we have bothered to get Outback. It's my birthday and Outback was my favorite place to eat so we thought we were try it out again... total disaster! First we ask fir it to be delivered (through the Outback website). Almost 10 minutes after to was supposed to have arrived we called and no one had even picked it up. I understand that was a Door Dash issue but it would have been nice for someone to let us know. Got it home... everything was very soggy and very very cold. And again NO RANCH when we asked for extra. The burger was under cooked and there wasn't even bacon on the cheese fries. We paid over $80 and honestly McDonald's would have been more satisfying.

My girlfriend and I came to Outback to celebrate our anniversary and had a great time! We got drinks and the bloomin onion and it was amazing! We always have to get it when we go to Outback. The server we had Josh was great even though we could tell he was busy with other tables, he still took great care of us. We came here for a late lunch / early dinner around 2:30 on 12/9. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. Our service was top-notch and the staff really did a wonderful job taking care of us. We started off with the warm bread and butter, which was nice and soft and tasty. I got the large house beer, and it was crisp and delicious, and paired really well with my meal. For our appetizer, we got the blooming shrimp, which were extremely flavorful and were absolutely addictive with the horseradish dipping sauce. So good! My French onion soup was nice and cheesy and had that deep rich umami flavor that you look for in a good broth. The Cesar salad was not really noteworthy, just a typical salad. My steak was cooked perfectly to order, the chicken was tender and juicy and full of flavor. My potato was scrumptious and the sautéed mushrooms were some of the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. If you like mushrooms, I highly recommend these. Then we finished our meal with the salted caramel cookie, which was mind-blowing. There was a perfect balance between sweet and salty, and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing it. Overall, we enjoyed a delicious meal, and we had a good time!

After a day of doctors, I was really hungry, and I wanted steak. My wife and I decided to go to this restaurant and make no mistake it was the best decision. I ordered the prime rib, and my wife ordered the tenders. The volume of the music was a bit loud because we had to repeat what we said to the waitress. The atmosphere was quite good. When the food started to come out, the staff just did a great job of serving it and refilling the awesome bread. Just a nice place to eat, clean bathrooms and professional staff. The manager walked around asking about the food and service. It is a great place to have dinner, and we will be returning.

This is your typical outback steakhouse. I personally think their steaks are tender and cooked very well. I like their sweet potatoes and their bread. Nothing really stood out to me in the form of service or food. Hence, that is why I gave it four stars instead of five stars. If you're in the mood for a chain restaurant, go here. It's also close and within walking distance to a lot of hotels.

Aside from our amazing server i was unimpressed. Our sampler looked like it had been dropped and thrown back on the plate and we waited way too long for our food. The tiny steak was great, but the brownie was terrible. For 80 dollars i was expecting high quality all around.

Came here for Graduation and was very disappointed. First problem, we were brought an appetizer we didn't ask for. Ordered 1 drink from the bar that took 20 min to get. Was never given any bread until we asked for it which was when we questioned about the drink taking so long. The table beside us told their waiter to keep the bread flowing and they had 5 loaves before we received any. My husband ordered the NEW! Chimichurri Filet which was only 5 pieces of steak thrown on a plate that did not look appetizing at all. Won't be returning .

Ordered medium rare steak, loaded baked potato, and salad. Steak was medium well and I never got the salad. My wife never got her soup either. Granddaughter chose Outback for her birthday dinner. I won't " be back to Outback"

We are from out of town and were really looking forward to a great prime rib from Outback but were extremely disappointed. The meat was tough, fatty and stringy and honestly didn't even taste like prime rib. The waiter was great but the meat was terrible!

The onion dip had a little bit to strong a taste a little to much seasoning but the fried onion was very good it was $8.99 and we ordered four steaks and 1 was cooked perfectly, the 8 oz was very small and burnt, the picture is from the Melbourne Steak it’s a 22oz steak and it was way smaller then usual and overcooked and the hubbys T-Bone steak was undercooked, the steaks come with a baked potato and a side the house Salad was very good, for Dessert we had the Brownie with Ice cream and the brownie was way under baked. Honestly have eaten here before and it was so good so this time it was very disappointing. Hope y’all do better in the future. Reason for the two stars is that I will probably give y’all a second chance again in the future but if it’s the same as this time I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

All i can say is keep your receipts and check when it hits your bank. The waitress we had decided to get an extra 20 out of us!! Luckily we caught it and they did correct it but will never go back

My fam and I stopped by for a bite before heading to our hotel after driving back from Colorado. The food has gone downhill. I remember liking this place a whole lot back in the day. My poor dad got SUPER sick that we had to stay another day in Lubbock. He got severe food poisoning after eating a steak from here. I highly recommend not eating at this place, specially with the stomach virus going on right now. There are some other good sanitary places in Lubbock.

We do not go to steak restaurants that often so due to cost. We spent $81 on two dinners and was asked 3 different time “how is everything.” Why ask when you are the one bringing out the steaks that are cheap, thin, stringy cuts of meat and witness use piling 40 percent of our steaks along the side of the plate as “inedible?” The manager viewed the same thing we were looking at and should have stepped in and remove our steaks. I won’t be back. Update: The owner contacted me and stated he wished to send me a gift card and asked me to return which I did. No one knew my previous post nor treated me better than anyone else visiting today. My food was completely different than before and I wanted to say so publicly. I am not sure what changes the owner made but my experience was much better. Courtney could not have served better and I am certainly of a changed mind. Bravo.

40 minute wait for a restaurant that is a little more than a quarter full. While they have 2 hostesses working the front. I was told they had the other half of the restaurant shut down, while I’m standing there watching a busboy clear off tables on the “shutdown” side of the restaurant. Manager nowhere is sight.

Here for the night. Ordered a bloomin onion. Absolutely disgusting. Way over cooked in old gross oil. Things are clearly worse in Texas....🤮 Gonna have to lick the parking lot at the hotel just to get the taste out of my mouth. Pitiful

Went here today. The blooming onion was great but the sauce wierd tasting. My son spit out half his burger because it was slimy and the fries were cold. The pasta my husband and I had was mediocre for the price. All for over 100 bucks? Service was meh? Our drink got mixed up but not too bad. Not coming back here especially for that price.

Food wasn't hot or warm my Mac and cheese wasn't it and I like all Mac and cheese also steak was dry and tough and grilled chicken was dry also I would not go back.

Front of the house needs to learn about manners! They were making fun of my mother in laws weight not knowing we were there together. I’d rather someone be heavy wet than skinny and thinking they’re better than thou. Ordered steak topping and it didn’t even come out with the meal. A lot of money for a stupid inconvenience. The food always taste good and our waitress was by far beyond amazing!! We will be back but like I said, this place definitely isn’t for heavy set people unless you want to be judged and laughed at.

TERRIBLE food and service. Ordered a simple to-go burger. Well done/no tomato, and got home to a very soggy PINK burger *with* tomato. The mashed potato’s were awful and also incorrect. I’ve never tasted mashed potatoes like this, couldn’t even eat them! 😵‍💫 Manager did offer to correct it so that was nice, but just overall ridiculous, and NOT worth your time.

Awful experience overall 1. Bloomin’ onion was way too salty to eat. 100% worse than the one I had before. 2. The bread was supposed to be wonderful but was not hot enough. The butter was disgusting, and it did not fit the bread at all. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! 3. The steak.. we had classic prime rib and ribeye. They were good but had too much fat. 4. The mashed potato did not have any flavor, and the house salad was very normal. 5. The waitress we had was not professional enough.. she was nice but we ended up having 5 cups on our table just because she wanted to refill our drink.. The total price (+tips) was about $90, with this price in mind, this is not the experience we should have…
