We ordered delivery. They use Doordash to deliver, but Doordash never responded. An hour later, we called Outback and talked to the manager on duty. She offered to re-make the food and have one of her own staff members deliver it to us. Less than 20 minutes later, the food was at our door. And let me tell you - it was the best we've ever had from Outback. Everything was hot, large portions, all items were correct, it was all outstanding. They definitely went above and beyond to take care of us and not make the Doordash snafu a problem for us. Thank you!
We had dinner Valentines evening at Outback Steakhouse. We only waited 5 minutes for our table. The staff and our waiter Ethan were very professional and courteous. We ordered the filets and they were cooked to perfection. Best steak we have had in months.
The food quality to cost is always amazing, definitely a 10/10. My mother filled up on the appetizer bread, so she freaked out the poor manager when he popped on by to check on us, but when we told him about the bread, he brought us a spare to take home. Edit (2025): we have come back, and i just had the seared rare ahi, and it might be the best thing ive had in a long time. Delicate and soft, tasting purely of the quality of the tuna, this is the dish for me.
We had a recent encounter with Outback and were let down about our delivery order. Outback corrected it immediately and made our order fresh and the manager brought our order personally to apologize for the mishap. So impressed! Shout out to Brandi and her staff at Outback here in Lubbock! Taking accountability and making it right is what mattered to us. So impressed.

Edit.... they were amazing after we had such a bad experience! They completely made up for it! It has been a year since we have bothered to get Outback. It's my birthday and Outback was my favorite place to eat so we thought we were try it out again... total disaster! First we ask fir it to be delivered (through the Outback website). Almost 10 minutes after to was supposed to have arrived we called and no one had even picked it up. I understand that was a Door Dash issue but it would have been nice for someone to let us know. Got it home... everything was very soggy and very very cold. And again NO RANCH when we asked for extra. The burger was under cooked and there wasn't even bacon on the cheese fries. We paid over $80 and honestly McDonald's would have been more satisfying.
Our leadership team recently began holding our weekly lunch discussions at this Outback Steakhouse location. Over the past month, we've visited three times—and each visit has exceeded expectations. These lunches are vital for us as we collaborate on strategic ideas to grow our business. From my vantage point at a table of eight, I was impressed by the staff’s attentiveness and professionalism. On one occasion, the manager personally delivered additional appetizers—on the house—demonstrating a commitment to hospitality that stood out. Our server was equally outstanding, providing exceptional service without interrupting our conversations. The team’s attention to detail and eagerness to please didn’t go unnoticed. Their approach serves as a reminder to us in leadership: this is the kind of mindset we must adopt toward our own customers—proactive, thoughtful, and driven to deliver more than expected. Outback has become more than a restaurant for us—it’s now a trusted partner in creating the kind of environment that fuels meaningful conversation and forward momentum.
The food here was immaculate!! The environment was super clean!! And the best part was our waiter Nick, he was the biggest sweetheart and kept us well taken care of!!!!
Both steaks were cooked to perfection. And tender. Soup delicious.. Mercedes waitress did a excellent job. Even management made his round and checked on us.

My girlfriend and I came to Outback to celebrate our anniversary and had a great time! We got drinks and the bloomin onion and it was amazing! We always have to get it when we go to Outback. The server we had Josh was great even though we could tell he was busy with other tables, he still took great care of us. The steak came out perfectly cooked to medium rare and the bake potato was good. We will definitely be back soon and hope to have Josh as a server again.
After a long day's driving we landed here. The steak was expertly cooked. Blaze was our waiter, got everything exactly how we ordered it. The manager came by twice while we were eating, checking on our satisfaction. Kudos!
We came here for a late lunch / early dinner around 2:30 on 12/9. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. Our service was top-notch and the staff really did a wonderful job taking care of us. We started off with the warm bread and butter, which was nice and soft and tasty. I got the large house beer, and it was crisp and delicious, and paired really well with my meal. For our appetizer, we got the blooming shrimp, which were extremely flavorful and were absolutely addictive with the horseradish dipping sauce. So good! My French onion soup was nice and cheesy and had that deep rich umami flavor that you look for in a good broth. The Cesar salad was not really noteworthy, just a typical salad. My steak was cooked perfectly to order, the chicken was tender and juicy and full of flavor. My potato was scrumptious and the sautéed mushrooms were some of the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. If you like mushrooms, I highly recommend these. Then we finished our meal with the salted caramel cookie, which was mind-blowing. There was a perfect balance between sweet and salty, and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing it. Overall, we enjoyed a delicious meal, and we had a good time!
I gave the service a 3 because I really wanted to leave with a real boomerang 😞🪃 I was ensured I would get one but didn't 😂. Besides that little thing everything was on point ☝️ loved it all we will definitely be back soon. The service was really amazing the manager was on top of her game as well. Wife and I decided to try Outback for lunch today. We arrived about 12pm and there was plenty of seating. We sat in the bar area and were helped by the polite bartender. The food was very fresh and delicious. The server kept the cokes and teas coming. We will definitely be back.
After a day of doctors, I was really hungry, and I wanted steak. My wife and I decided to go to this restaurant and make no mistake it was the best decision. I ordered the prime rib, and my wife ordered the tenders. The volume of the music was a bit loud because we had to repeat what we said to the waitress. The atmosphere was quite good. When the food started to come out, the staff just did a great job of serving it and refilling the awesome bread. Just a nice place to eat, clean bathrooms and professional staff. The manager walked around asking about the food and service. It is a great place to have dinner, and we will be returning.
Happy to review our meal because we dined here and ordered what we ordered based on someone’s review. The Toowoomba Salmon and the Pecan Blue Cheese Chopped Salad were excellent and so was our server, Madison. Plus, Madison seemed to be doing double duty: serving and bar tending. Great service! The bread is delicious as always, and the steaks and aussie cheese fries were really good as well; however, the macaroni was not good despite the many reviews stating otherwise. Ordered medium rare steak, loaded baked potato, and salad. Steak was medium well and I never got the salad. My wife never got her soup either. Granddaughter chose Outback for her birthday dinner. I won't " be back to Outback"
We are from out of town and were really looking forward to a great prime rib from Outback but were extremely disappointed. The meat was tough, fatty and stringy and honestly didn't even taste like prime rib. The waiter was great but the meat was terrible!

Honestly have eaten here before and it was so good so this time it was very disappointing. Hope y’all do better in the future. Reason for the two stars is that I will probably give y’all a second chance again in the future but if it’s the same as this time I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

TERRIBLE food and service. Ordered a simple to-go burger. Well done/no tomato, and got home to a very soggy PINK burger *with* tomato. The mashed potato’s were awful and also incorrect. I’ve never tasted mashed potatoes like this, couldn’t even eat them! 😵💫 Manager did offer to correct it so that was nice, but just overall ridiculous, and NOT worth your time.
