The menu has lost a few dishes, but the food is great. They took out the lasagna for $6.00 take home meal😥. The service is great and plenty of bread and salad. The parking lot has plenty of parking and is easy in and out.

We scheduled a ladies lunch after a big conference here and although they were not taking reservations they went above and beyond to have everything ready for us. We were seated shortly after the majority of the large group arrived. Our server Harley did an incredible job making sure everyone was served with excellence. Check out was personal and made simple by Harley and she even took a group pic of us. Thank you so much for making our ladies lunch go so smooth!

Very calm, relaxed. Easy to talk to one another while seated at the bar. Excellent service from Victoria, our server. Food was hot if cooked, and chilled for the cool foods such as salad.

Exceptional service during the holiday season. Staff made adjustments to accommodate us while also dealing with several large groups. We went for a quick lunch between work and our server was AMAZING. Her name was Michele. I’m sure I’m not spelling it how it was on her name tag. She was a nice person. Worked with us on the menu and even had us both step out of our comfort zone and try a different soup. We mentioned changing how we eat and getting healthier and she talked about her own changes and how she loves eggplant. We will be back and I want her as our server again and again!

The service we received from the manager Traci, was exceptionally great. We had an discrepancy earlier in the week about waiting time and menu selection. She clarified, read off new items on the menu for us over the phone. She was very polite, professional, attentive and patient. I definitely recommend speaking to her if there is ever a problem. My fiancée and I really enjoyed the food! Thanks Traci, for the outstanding hospitality!

The customer service was phenomenal! Our waitress was so nice, and attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Which was very impressive considering the place was packed. The reason I gave 4 stars on the food is because the crispy chicken I got in my pasta was a bit dry and rubbery. It was delicious though chicken is hard to cook sometimes. So I was still pleased. All in all I highly recommend this olive garden. I never eaten at one before, and this one definitely made an positive impact. 10/10 would eat again!!!

We had my parents anniversary dinner here. Called ahead to reserve seating for 10 and they put us in the best spot in the restaurant. Food was excellent as always. Get the never ending dipping sauces for bread. We get it everytime. Tour of Italy is large enough for 2 people when you have the dipping sauces, neverending bread sticks and salad. My hubby and i split it. Waiters were great. Bathrooms clean.

We went in at 3:30 Saturday afternoon service was prompt, and friendly. The food was good as I would expect from Olive Garden. The salad was fresh. The Chicken Alfredo had the right proportions of sauce, chicken and pasta. When my sister couldn't decide whether she wanted chocolate or strawberry on her cheesecake they offered to put a little of both. She enjoyed it a lot. Overall a good experience.

My husband ordered a 1/2 gallon of the Zuppa Toscana soup and it was filled with kale. I should have taken a picture of it. He said it was bitter, very little potatoes or Italian sausage. He suffered through a half of a bowl and threw the rest away. Very disappointed. It was a to go order. We had a party of about 20 people. Our server was OUTSTANDING!! She handled our orders very well!! Everything was timed just right! Our food came out all at once, and drinks came out quickly. An AMAZING hostess, sadly, I did not catch her name!!

Wonderful experience thru and thru. The waiter was very kind and helpful with our orders. I recently had a throat surgery and can only eat soups, he was very helpful with the food options and made sure I was okay and had plenty of water while eating since it's hard for me to swallow. The food itself was fantastic too. I had the chicken gnocchi which was fantastic, and my girlfriend had the chicken Alfredo which was also great!

We went out for a dinner party of 14 guest. We had a waiter and waitress taking care of our table. They did an awesome job of making sure we always had our drinks filled, bring bread and bringing salad. I ordered the lasagna and although it wasn't an hot as one would expect it to be it was very good! Everyone was very happy with their entrees and appetizers they ordered. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice they had music softly playing. After all the mess with Covid it's nice to finally be able to go out and have an enjoyable evening of dinner with family and friends😊.

never disappointed with Olive Garden. The server was great and let me eat alone in peace, but never let me wait on a refill or more breadsticks. The guy next to me was pretty weird, telling me I look like some lady on the news. Then the woman I presume was his wife said I don’t look like a “Fox News” watcher? Restaurant was super busy when we arrived with our party of 9 after graduation at SFA earlier that evening. General Manager Dani Hunt promptly greeted us and assured us that we would get a table quickly, which we did. Our server Haylee was great. She made sure to take great care of us, was very pleasant and attentive. Of course, there were many others working in the background to make sure all went smooth. This Olive Garden is one of the best. All of the employees are super warm and welcoming. They also take food allergies super serious. We ate there with a friend who has celiacs and the manager came over to assure us they were cooking the gluten free menu separately from the regular menu.

After a 6 P.M. graduation at Stephen F. Austin State University, a large group of family and friends drove to Lufkin to have dinner with the graduate. This is about a thirty-minute ride, so we arrived at Olive Garden around 9 P.M. The parking lot looked crazy busy, but my husband went inside anyway to try and get us a seating for nine. The manager, Dani Hunt, was at the hostess stand. My husband told her that if she couldn't accommodate a large table, as they looked swamped, we would be happy to break our party over two tables. Dani assured my husband that they would do everything possible to seat us all together. It did not take long for a table large enough for the entire party to be ready for us. The service and the food were excellent. Although busy, our waitress, Haylee, was not flustered by our large group and handled our service with grace and ease. This was the highlight of a very long day, which included other meals with the same group of people. We can confidently say this was the best experience we have ever had at Olive Garden. Dani and her staff have set the bar extremely high for other Olive Garden locations we might visit in the future.

We had a great meal and the server was excellent. The only problem was it was cold in the location.

We had a wonderful dinner at Olive Garden with our family, which included four adults and three small children. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant accommodated our every need and made us feel very welcome. We were seated at an amazing large table in a separate room, which was absolutely perfect for our group and made the experience even more special and comfortable. The food was incredible, with generous and plentiful portions that everyone enjoyed. Our server, Ciderius Pilot, was absolutely awesome—attentive, friendly, and fantastic with the kids. We were so pleased with our visit that I even took the time to speak with the manager to let them know what a great experience we had. We will definitely be back!

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Lufkin, Texas was a great place to eat. We went on a Thursday evening and it was not to busy and the staff was fantastic, very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. My wife had the Italian Margarita made with Jose Cuervo Especial Silver tequila, triple sec, and topped with amaretto, a sweet Italian liqueur. She really enjoyed it. We had an order of calamari which was cooked perfectly, we had the seafood alfredo and the cheese ravioli with meat sauce and a salad and of course the bread sticks which were delicious. Our first time going to Olive Garden and we can not wait to go again!

Olive Garden provides great soup, salad, and breadsticks. The waiters are friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is clean. Update: My husband, four of our grandchildren, one of our daughters, and I ate at Olive Garden, in Lufkin, again tonight. It took 20 minutes for us to be seated, and there were several large parties waiting. A customer was smoking outside of the restaurant, directly in front of the door. Every time the door opened, a cloud of strong cigarette smoke blew into the restaurant where we were waiting for a table. It was offensive, especially since one of my grandsons had surgery to remove a tumor from his nose and sinuses last summer, and the smoke bothered him. The smoke almost made us choose another restaurant for dinner. The Confetti moscato was sweet and fizzy. The bread sticks and alfredo dip were plentiful, hot, fresh, and delicious. The salad was crispy, well-chilled and customized to order. The minestrone was hot and well-cooked. My husband enjoyed a Tour of Italy. Our daughter and I loved our chicken Parmigiano entrees. Our grandchildren enjoyed kid's meals of spaghetti with tomato sauce, shells with meat sauce, and fettuccine alfredo. The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. Our waiter was polite and informative. The food was delicious. Recommended: Chicken Parmigiano, minestrone, tossed salad, breadsticks with alfredo dipping sauce, Tour of Italy, and Italian donuts!

Busy nights make it hard to leave the best review. Great food and great service but while busy they didn't get my steak right two different times and they double charged us on the appetizers. However, when we pointed that out they took off the extra charges and the steal because I didn't eat it.

I love Olive Garden! Especially this particular location. There's always plenty of parking available. The building is really nice and neat. And it's never overcrowded. There's always a great Representative there to greet us and seat us. The restaurant is always neat and clean. And the service is always quick. I've never used the restroom, so unfortunately, I can't comment on that. But I can tell that the table had just been wiped off, so it was neat and clean. I always get the soup and salad when I go to Olive Garden. I absolutely love their salad. But I wish they would use more fresh spinach and a lettuce like spring mix. I ordered the Zoupa Toscano soup, and it's my favorite. It's always delicious. Our waitress was excellent. She made sure that we had our drinks right away.And she checked on us very often to make sure that everything was okay. All and all the restaurant experience was great. I recommend Olive Garden to everyone 😋.

Update: after reaching out to Olive Garden they sent a gift card for the amount we ordered which is way more than I expected. So with this I have updated my star review and included this into my review. Ordered food to go and app said be ready at set time. Got there early and checked in online. After 15 minutes passed, I called their number. Waited another 15 minutes. Still nothing. If you coming here to eat best just go inside and skip the to go order or you will be waiting longer in the pickup area than it would have taken just to go inside. After 30 minutes of waiting I called a second time. Food came out after second call and thirty minutes after the stated pickup time given by their app. With the food coming out this late you would think it would be hot. Nope, barely luke warm. Which leads me to believe it’s been sitting in there this whole time I’ve been waiting for it to come out.

Guest relations contacted me and requested that I give Olive Garden another try. I was sent an e-gift card along with the suggestion that I call ahead and make the managers aware of my planned visit. And so I did. Upon entering the greeting was more inviting than my previous visit. Seating was pleasant. Our server Ashley was EXCEPTIONAL, ATTENTIVE AND POLITE. Drinks were forty-nine cents more at checkout than advertised but they were upscale and delicious. Appetizer was warmed to almost rubber. Tour of Italy was overdone as well. Temperature of food was good. Overall our "my" experience had improved. Earning 2 more stars than my previous rating. Never met either of the managers Doug or Brandon. Extremely overpriced. My dining guests agreed with me and all points.

How many people does it take to screw in a light bulb at Olive Garden? First shouldn't have seated our family of 6 at a table without a bulb so it was very dark & it was freezing. We asked about the light & they offered to move us but we all had our drinks already so we declined. Then a manager came over & said we all had to get up anyway & another waiter was right behind him saying the same. Then a guy who looked like a cook came around both of them & put the bulb in. Finally someone with common sense. Guess we didn't need to get up after all? Salad & soup were their usual - good but tour of Italy was small portion & shrimp scampi was below average. Shrimp were flavorful but asparagus & pasta very bland. The waitress was pretty good & attentive though.

Liked the food and server was courteous. The delivery was a little lacking. We ordered food and drinks at the same time and of course requested bread. Drinks came out and very quickly after the main course. Then halfway through the main course the salad came out and a little later we got some bread. Hoping it was just a one time bad experience, but not sure I want to spend money to check.

Went there on Saturday 3/7/2020 at 4pm. Not lunch time and no evening rush so should be no waits with great service right?....WRONG!!! They had customers but were far from full. Hostess seated me and my party of 2 immediately. Sat at the table 15 minutes and no one ever even came to take our drink order. I watched as tables seated after us were waited on but not us. 10 minutes in I let the hostess know as she walked by after seating another party that no one had come to our table. She just looked at me and walked on. 5 minutes after that we walked out went to Chili's and was waited on immediately. I love Olive Garden but it will be very long time before I go back to this one in Lufkin as the service is very poor.

We went to this location on Friday night. The food was not good, eggplant parmigiana was really burnt and bad! Quantity was also different than other locations. Rigatoni with creamy mushrooms was super dry and quantity was very less. Even taste was different. 2 ⭐️ for service and ambience.

Lady there picking up $150 to go order. waited 35 minutes after food was ready to get bread sticks..... she was late for a client meeting due to that. Mgr stayed away from lobby to avoid crying customer late for meeting.

Saturday afternoon 8/2024 Seated, WAITED. WAITED. Waiter was good to tend on the table/booth next to us but NEVER APPROACHED our table. At least ask if we have been taken care of ! Finally the lady cleaning tables told him to tend to our table. Food was too saucy and overcook. Terrible 👎👎

We were seated by several big tables of guests. We watched and waited for 20 minutes while servers and managers walked passed us trying to get there attention as they all helped the bigger tables and not us. We finally asked a manager if we could get help. We received our drinks exactly 35 minutes after we arrived. We ordered our breadsticks, salad and food at the same time because our son was starving by this point. The croutons were stale and we asked for extra dressing and never got it. Our food was great but we asked for extra napkins and a kids milk refill and we never got the napkins and it took 15 minutes to get my son’s milk. We just wanted to pay and leave but our table top tablet didn’t work and when we finally got our waiters attention instead of just taking our credit card he took the tablet to be fixed. That took another 10 minutes. We were cranky, my son was extremely upset and tired. I usually really love Olive Garden but now my husband and kid will never want to go back. Just really disappointed with the whole dining experience!

Pro tip:when you go in ask to sit anywhere but in Heather’s section. I don’t think customer service was anywhere on her resume. Her crap attitude spoiled the meal. Food was good but took forever to come out and if you wanted a refill good luck. I could have driven to Houston filled up my cup and come back before Heather asked if you needed one. Honestly the whole vibe in there was bad from management to server. Hey corporate!! May be time for a revamp cause this visit sucked.

Are waitress only checked on this three times only brought me one drink we had to wait 20 minutes for it to go box and ask three people and one was a manager and they did not bring us a box. They only refilled my drink once and it was the wrong drink and there was no ice and she said she was going to bring me some and then went to another table. We never have a problem with the food but most of the time when we go the service is lacking. Also a bunch of the staff was in another area having a party of some sort and didn't even pay attention to the clients that they had in the restaurant

My family went to Olive garden on Sunday August 31, 2025. We were super excited about going until the waitress tried serving us dirty plates to eat our salads on. We started to get up and just walk out then, but we had already ordered food. I had asked for a refill on my drink and waited over 5 minutes for a new one. The food tasted like it was a rush job and wasn't very appetizing as well. It is also overly priced. Needless to say we won't be back! I can make better at home!!

Most horrible experience at Olive Garden we have ever had. From the lazy and rude seating, with no child's menu & missing cutlery, where the host just dropped the menus on a table and walked away to the vanishing waiter it was extremely disappointing. Server was almost 10 minutes to come over greet us and ask our drinks order, where we had to ask for the kids menu. He then asked if we were ready to order... just after we asked for the kids menu! Received our drinks rather quickly, and the salad bowl, but didn't see him again for 10 minutes. We then placed food order, while we ate the salad. Again the waiter vanished. Bread sticks (no requested sauce) were dropped off just prior to our meals However once our food arrived the empty salad bowl, empty breadsticks and nearly empty drinks were all ignored. No refills on anything. We were all done eating the below par dinners well before he came by and ask how everything was. At least 20 min after he dropped the plates off. Our meals were all semi bland, semi warm and just looked like they was dropped on the plates without care or attention. Went to pay the bill and had to request the server to remove the $3.99 charge for the marinara which we never received. We were basically ignored the almost 2 hours we were in the restaurant, when the waiter would disappear all the time. Customers should be at least greeted quickly, and checked on often, at least within a few min of getting their meals. Guessing that the staff are poorly trained and there is just lackluster management but would not recommend the Lufkin Olive Garden to anyone... which shows as it was not busy at all on a weekend evening.

Olive Garden has always been a favorite, however this review is more towards the service I received from our waiter. His name was Matt. He was tall, brown hair, and glasses. He was so rude to our table and smarted off multiple times. He asked us if we wanted cheese on our salads and the table said yes but he acted as if he didn’t hear and then said “Yes? No? Umm I need answers?!.” He also never brought bread to our table. We had to ask another server to bring it and they still didn’t get brought till after the food itself. If I could give a zero star I would. I’ve never experienced such horrible service. We went multiple periods of time without even seeing our server. Overall bad experience.

I am so disappointed because I love Olive garden soup and I was not having a great day and feeling kinda ill in my body and drove the distance wanting a satisfying comforting meal so I called in an order for a bowl of Tuscon soup. Received my order with great front desk service. I was told that my order included bread sticks and cheese to go with my soup (my favorite is adding the cheese). I was feeling excited about my upcoming meal only to get to the car a notice the lid was not placed on correctly and soup has spilled inside of bag( thankful did not get on my car seat). Still trying to remain positive I take it back inside and manager apologize and take to back and returned with me fresh soup but fail to put the cheese back inside bag of course I do not see this until after arriving all the way home on and the other side of town 😢. I was so disappointed and I could not enjoy my soup. What a waste of valuable time and money. Not a good end to a already bad day ☹️

Very bad service today. Food not good.! Cold. Have to ask many times for hot bread.! Will not be back.! Worst Olive Garden.! Find another Olive garden.! Manger is horrible.! So are the servers!!!

I'm being nice by rating one Star. I had the fried shrimp with onions and Bell peppers and the plate was hotter than the food. I will not ever go back even with a gift card. They do have some good sweet tea that was the best part of the whole meal. Because the salad was drowned in Italian dressing and had hot peppers in it.

Sadly, after thirty-three years as our favorite restaurant, we walked out of Olive Garden, never to return. We found ourselves wondering if we could afford two of the cheapest entrees on the menu. Their prices go up every time we go there Not only that, but the restaurant was what appeared to be at thirty percent capacity on a Friday evening when they should have been full. We waited and waited for a server while there were two of them idly chatting at the kitchen doorway. We finally had enough and walked out the door for the last time. RIP the Olive Garden we used to know. We went to a locally-owned restaurant instead and had an enjoyable date.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, decided to dine at Olive Garden. Waitress didn’t look happy about serving us, I ordered a chicken Alfredo with soup, waitress brings my soup with no spoon, she coms back 27 minute later with our drinks and a teaspoon to eat my soup. On top of that when I looked at my glass of tea it looked like someone had spit on it, I looked closely and sure enough, it was spit. I’m suing this restaurant and never going back to this branch.

I visited this location with a friend. The service was great, our waitress was very professional and attentive. The 1 star review is due to both of us getting food poisoning. The second we stepped out of the restaurant, we both had severe stomach pain and diarrhea all night into the next day. What's interesting to me is that I was walking out of the restaurant, I overheard someone who was also walking out complaining about stomach pain. This restaurant needs to ensure they are following food safety precautions to avoid this from happening again. On this visit my friend had a chicken parm and I had spaghetti with meatballs. We both chose the smaller portions. We both drank peach ballinis*. I will not be returning to this location.
