I've ordered take out from here a few times. One of the best pizzas around.

I really like the pizza but I didn't get any on this trip as there was a vehicle accident nearby that the involved parties pulled into the parking lot. I worked the accident as a police officer.

Food is always fresh and delicious. It's my favorite pizza place. The reward points and coupons makes it even better.

Love the food and service its a great place to grab hot ready pizza in less than 15 mins

I ordered the new garlic parmesan crust on a fully loaded pizza. The best pizza I've ever had. It was fastly delivered and prefect with a friendly delivery driver. Couldn't be more pleased.

Not so sure why they are rated so low. Even if they do mess up the order they are more than eager to fix the problem. A little more pricey than others, but with the quality it’s well worth it. BEST PIZZA IN TOWN.

My order is always fresh and hot when I pick it up or get it delivered, and I have never had an issue with missing items whatsoever. The employees are great and my order is always ready when I get there.

I would not eat at the store, but if you pick up a pizza here you will not regret it, in my opinion it’s the best in Lufkin.

Order was cancelled because of errors with the address, but they had it at my house within 29 minutes of my call. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious.

It was okay. Average. Definitely not near as good as pizza hunt, but it's cheap

Kinda pricy but I love the bbq chicken pizza. My son got me hooked on it.

Update (Fall 2022): Employees were courteous and helpful - place looked clean and bright again... food was: meh. Better than the local competition Update (August 2021): place was refreshed, employees returned to sanity, efficiency, and friendly service. 2020: Soon as I walked in the door, employee screeched, "You need to wear a mask!" I stated that I had a health exemption. She said, "it doesn't matter, you have to wait outside." Clarification: her tone was hostile and the word, "please" would have gone a long way to reduce the unwelcome feeling. No other business in Lufkin treated me that way. Shame. I was at least 20 feet from her and she was behind glass. No other customers were in the... now I know why.

They wanted to charge me for each tiny little package. It's a half of a tsp of seasoning. Ridiculous. There was one employee just sitting on the counter looking extremely high eating food. They were unprofessional and clearly don't understand how to treat a paying customer. Looks like I'll switch back to Marco's pizza.

Service was bad. Didn't get what we ordered and the guys there didn't care if are order was wrong. First and last time we order from papa johns. Pizza was disgusting.

The website keeps kicking me off before I can complete the order. Finally gave up and called the store in Lufkin and was put on hold for 12 minutes. Hung up and called back and was put on hold again with me yelling No do not put me on hold. But in a minute a very polite, apologetic young lady answered and took my order efficiently. The young man who answered the first time and did not come back for 12 minutes needs some managerial attention.

The app says they take cash upon delivery but my cod orders keep on getting canceled by the manager. Why offer that option if it's not gonna happen?

Never going back again. Both Ny style and thin crust were soggy, no flavor in crust and pepperoni's so thin you couldn't even taste them.

This was the lowest rating it would let me give. It would’ve been lower. My mother called and placed an order . The order arrived missing parts of what should have came with it and what had been paid for as well. When she called she talked to Jamie one of the managers . She was called a liar by Jamie when she told her the stuff wasn’t sent. So I will admit my mother said a bad word when she called her a liar. Then Jamie hung up on her . I called to find out what was going on. And I was saying yes ma’am and no ma’am to Jamie. I told her my mother had a stroke and has Alzheimer’s. Jamie then told me that didn’t matter to her that everyone has something wrong with them. That was rude . Then she hung up on me when I asked for corporate’s number. Then instead of the GM getting with me she only talked to Jamie and didn’t even care about my side of things . My mother has always loved Papa Johns pizza and tells everyone they are her favorite. However after being treated this way they are the worst in customer service I have ever seen. And they cheated my mother out of her money. I will be doing a protest out in front of papa johns coming soon.

I ordered 24 wings. The employee that took my order did not ask what kind of sauce I wanted on my wings and what room number I was in. The delivery driver came and gave me the order and was the smallest wings I've ever seen. I paid 30 something dollars for the world's smallest wings. This is ridiculous and I could get more meat from roadkill than this. Definitely would not recommend anyone to order from this location.

Ordered through door dash and the whole order was wrong! Called the store and was told it wasn’t their problem and they didn’t have to do anything about it! Not sure who the manager was at the time but that is who was so rude to me! Will be calling Corporate office!

Order two pizzas and some bread sticks. Didn't receive the bread sticks. When I called to find out where they were was placed on hold for 7 minutes. My wife finally called while i was on hold and they answered her. I will not order from any Papa Johns again after being treated like this. Our bread sticks were under a heat lamp they told her.

I called asking to to have the driver ring the door bell when he shows up im disabled and they refused to tell or notify the driver. Papa John's has gotten bad since they replaced cooks food even tastes different. At lease dominos will ring your doorbell without any questions asked. If you're disabled don't expect them to help you. Call dominos they treat their disabled customers with the courtesy and respect that should be given regardless.

Customer service and expectations at this location are absolutely horrendous! Definitely don’t bother calling Tonya the manager to explain your frustration because her only answer is “we are busy”. My suggestion is go anywhere else for pizza, this location doesn’t care about the service they provide much less the customers they Provide it to. If I could have given a negative number of stars I would have.

Ordered A couple of pizzas when they arrived they were as cold as ice🤬 called about it a guy said he would mail me a gift card for the troubles and it would be carry out only i said that was fine its been a month. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The person who took my order over the phone was rude, wouldn't let me talk or answer the questions I had a bout their specials. When I was about to spend $30 on my order, "I said you know what just forget it I'm calling Marcos. My family spends quite a bit of money on pizza every year. We will never spend another dime at this place.

Horrible looking pizza. The whole middle of my pizza is lacking cheese and sauce and toppings.. to top it off I had to cut it myself won't be back highly disappointed

Ice cold when I received them. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I missed their call and returned it within 3 minutes & was told by Elizabeth that I would have to wait another 45 minutes. So, I asked for a refund. She obliged with no rebuttal. Within 2 minutes, the delivery guy called to verify my address, and I told him I was calling the store to reinstate my order. I called the store. Elizabeth answered. I stated, “This is Jennifer Phillips. I just spoke with you and cancelled my order...” Elizabeth immediately hung up on me. The driver arrived within 2 more minutes with my pizza, but I told him that when I called the store, they hung up on me. He then called the store and was told my refund had already been issued, and not to leave the pizza unless I paid again. I checked my account with the guy standing there while he was still on the phone with the store, and informed him that the money had not been credited back into my account. The store clerk told the driver that it would be 3-5 business days before my $42 would be credited back. Essentially, Papa Johns in Lufkin, Texas expected me to pay $84 for 1 pizza, a Papadilla, and an order of Poppers. I tipped the driver for his politeness and inconvenience and told him that I did not have $84 to spend. So, in reality, I ended up -$42 for 3-5 business days, with no dinner. I could have stomached the wait on the refund if Elizabeth had not been so blatantly disrespectful. I attempted to contact Papa Johns’ customer service, and their customer service engine would not allow the amount of characters this complaint required, so I am posting here and on Google Reviews.

The hole situation is just ridiculous and all the manager wanted to do was argue about it instead of making it right. We put in a complaint the company sent it to her and she called basically calling us liers. I don't not suggest ordering here or doing business.

I ordered a Pepperoni & Black olives extra Pepperoni & Black olives, I basically got a cheese pizza with the fewest amount of toppings. I didn’t bother calling them because if they can’t get right the first time I doubt they will be able to get it right the second time. This hasn’t been the first time papa John’s done me dirty like that and this was the last time I ever order papa John’s pizza anywhere.
