Awful pizza 😞 terribly over charged $35 for one large pizza. A disgrace to pizza everywhere. They hardly put any toppings on it hardly any cheese on it even though we ordered extra cheese and extra toppings and paid for the extra. Papa John's is papa wrong.

As a former employee i do not recommend eating here dough is expired and toppings are poorly maintained everything is expired there i also told Steven the gm theres a fly stuck in the dough re responded with “itll add extra flavor “

If I could give this pizza place a zero star I would, called them to deliver a pizza, the guy working there was very rude, he said by me calling was a prank call, even though I have an Arkansas number, I do live in Lufkin

We order food got the notification that it was ready went to the store got back to our house all with 10 mins (I know because I have life 360 and it showed the trip) are hole order was cold and old. The hole situation is just ridiculous and all the manager wanted to do was argue about it instead of making it right. We put in a complaint the company sent it to her and she called basically calling us liers. I don't not suggest ordering here or doing business.

I ordered a Pepperoni & Black olives extra Pepperoni & Black olives, I basically got a cheese pizza with the fewest amount of toppings. I didn’t bother calling them because if they can’t get right the first time I doubt they will be able to get it right the second time. This hasn’t been the first time papa John’s done me dirty like that and this was the last time I ever order papa John’s pizza anywhere.

Worst Experience ever, waited 2 hours for my pizza delivery. I called after an hour and was told my order was about to be ready and delivery's are taking a while because they only have 1 driver. After another 40 minutes I got a text that my pizza was outside in the chair on the front porch which it wasn't. I then called again and was told my pizzas were delivered. I called the number that text me and the lady went and got my pizzas back from another house and brought them too me... Neither one of my pizzas were in a warming bag or anything.... Ice cold when I received them. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I called as soon as i got into Lufkin i was on hold for over 20 minutes. I pulled up still on phone walked in the store 6 other workers and one guy on the phone. While 2 others just standing there. One finally took my order. My order took 20 minutes to be ready. My order was brought to my car. I get home with the pizza and wings and neither of them where fit to eat. The pizza dough wasnt cooked throughly and the wings where cold. Not even worth the money i paid. Also never received a receipt for my purchase.

We live in an apartment complex. We waited over an hour for our pizza to be delivered. I missed their call and returned it within 3 minutes & was told by Elizabeth that I would have to wait another 45 minutes. So, I asked for a refund. She obliged with no rebuttal. Within 2 minutes, the delivery guy called to verify my address, and I told him I was calling the store to reinstate my order. I called the store. Elizabeth answered. I stated, “This is Jennifer Phillips. I just spoke with you and cancelled my order...” Elizabeth immediately hung up on me. The driver arrived within 2 more minutes with my pizza, but I told him that when I called the store, they hung up on me. He then called the store and was told my refund had already been issued, and not to leave the pizza unless I paid again. I checked my account with the guy standing there while he was still on the phone with the store, and informed him that the money had not been credited back into my account. The store clerk told the driver that it would be 3-5 business days before my $42 would be credited back. Essentially, Papa Johns in Lufkin, Texas expected me to pay $84 for 1 pizza, a Papadilla, and an order of Poppers. I tipped the driver for his politeness and inconvenience and told him that I did not have $84 to spend. So, in reality, I ended up -$42 for 3-5 business days, with no dinner. I could have stomached the wait on the refund if Elizabeth had not been so blatantly disrespectful. I attempted to contact Papa Johns’ customer service, and their customer service engine would not allow the amount of characters this complaint required, so I am posting here and on Google Reviews.

Have attempted ordering from here, again. Once again, utterly disappointed. Food is ok, often a bit undercooked. The REAL issue is that they use Doordash for their delivery. With tips expected BEFORE service is performed, these people just take the money and give crap service. Food left outside with no attempt to notify me, so food is absolutely cold (especially during winter!). Even when using a 3rd party to complete your service, Papa John's is still responsible for the end result.
