Great food, comfortable atmosphere, no pretensions and a great value. We go there a couple of times a week and are always glad we did. Know your days of the week because the specials (which are really great on every night) include Monday - steak night, Thursday - corned beef, Saturday - prime rib

I came to this place about 30 some years ago has been a long time since I've been back but since I've been back the last 3 weeks I have had nothing but the best service the best food the best of everything it is so amazing that this place is consistent for 30 some years unbelievable

This establishment has been around forever and is still as wonderful as the first time I visited it with my husband and in-laws in the mid 80's. The steaks are fantastic and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. What a great neighborhood pub!

Our waitress Stephenie was very engaging and helpful when my friend and I were trying to decide on our entrees. I was impressed by the fact that when we informed Stephenie that we were trying to make an 8pm movie at the Malverne cinema 🎥, she made sure that our food came out in a timely manner. Loved the seasoned fries that came with my chicken basket. Before leaving, we informed her that we would ask for her the next time we planned to dine there. I remember coming to this cafe with my grandparents and friends while I was a student at Malverne high school!

I used to live across the street when I was much younger. And from what I remember, their shrimp in the basket was amazing! Fast forward 30 years, I had my daughter's first birthday party and couldn't have picked a better place!

The wait staff is friendly and wonderful. The food is always phenomenal and exceptionally made. Love going for the people and atmosphere and the food always impresses me. Been coming with my family for over 7 years and we will always come back

I go there knowing before hand what I want. Then I here that specials and I end up getting one of them. The place has great help and great food. My brother live's in Garden City and go's to the best restaurant's around, but he loves going to the brick. Best pub food in the area.

The food is very good and they have continued to maintain their familiar specials as well as providing good value. The Maier family continues to be involved providing that touch of intimacy you would find in the home of a close friend. The staff from Mark and Karin keep their Dad’s spirit alive. The staff from Chris and Steve behind the bar know their trade well. The servers like Dina and Stephanie are wonderful and attentive. It’s a true gem of western Nassau .

We were a party of 4 an had Dina as our waitress. We had the pretzel and potato skins for appetizers. So good. Luckily we were they're on a Sat so I had the prime rib, hands down in my top 3 best ever for prime rib. A nice healthy cut, not fatty an delicious. Our waitress Dina was on point. Quick service not rushed, gave good recommendations. Very pleased with our service an food. Now my new place to go.

Great value for your dollar, good menu variety, great steaks and every night has different specials. Been coming here with family for 60 years. Never been disappointed.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best dinner ever. The guests are still raving about the food. Mark and the entire staff treated us like family and we will of course be back any chance we get. I highly recommend the ChateauBriand for two, tasty and tender, cuts with a fork like butter and a portion sized that you’ll be going home with leftovers. Nice food and staff, but the takeout containers suck. I looked forward to the leftovers, but the Styrofoam container broke and the bag provided leaked. My car smells of shrimp and garlic.

Maiers Brick Cafe has been a community landmark since 1966. Each day features a special culinary theme. Sunday is leg of lamb day, Thursday is Irish night with corned beef and cabbage or shepherds pie. All for under $20 for a complete meal from soup to nuts.

The place can use refurbishing but the food was excellent, I had the steak and my mom had the Irish lamb stew, both were great!

Great food and service. Went there for mothers day and had a reservation. Service was attentive and timely with food to the table. Great time. Giving only 4 stars so they still feel there is something to strive for.

Nice neighborhood bar and restaurant. Have been going there for quite awhile and the food and service are always good. Nice to have a place that's "comfortable" to be in, no push, no rush. A place you can relax in.

Loved this place for a 1st-time visit..they know how to do a medium-well steak to a T. The Owner was very personable and friendly, the food came out promptly and the drinks were ok. My only gripe was that tvs were a bit loud in such a small area. I highly recommend and the prices were fair market.

Maiers was always our favorite place for dinner. But since covid many places are forced to change. And so the menu has changed and it is not how it once was.

About a month ago went on a monday steak night. Use to feature shell steak now has sirloin which is a cheaper cut for the sane price. My and my wifes steak was smaller a bit fatty an nervy .I have been going here a long time but i will no longer . Cheaper steak for the same price?? Not me.

The Brick Cafe did not live up to our expectations. The special of the night the saurbraten was awful and when we received our food it was only slightly warm after I asked the server to make sure our food was very hot. Won't go back

The best hour brought that I ever had. The source was magnificent the waitress was wonderful the atmosphere was great I think I'll come back again next week.

I went with 2 friends. All of us was disappointed in the food and service.
